Configurable Network with Assembly Processing

Hi,
Is it possible to user configurable network with Assembly processing? Is there any issues using this functionality?
Thx

  • Configurable Networks in Assembly Processing

    Hi Gurus,
    I have implemented Assembly Processing with configurable networks. I am facing an issue here.
    The requirment is to capture the Delivery time ( Z field) from quotation and apply a  formula and calculate the normal duration of the activites of the network created on saving the quotation.
    I have used Varaiant configuration for the same
    I created following characterstics
    1. PS_DEL_TIME_TEST - To capture the delivery time from quotation line item
    Table Name      VBAP
    Field Name      ZZ_DELTIME
    2. PS_DURATION - To fill the normal duration of activity
    Table Name      AFVGD
    Field Name      DAUNO
    3. PS_DIST_DUR_TEST- User field of activity
    Table Name      AFVGD
    Field Name      USR04
    The Dependency that is used is
    000010     $SELF.PS_DURATION = ($PARENT.PS_DEL_TIME_Test * 30)*
    000020     (MDATA PS_DIST_DUR_TEST/100)
    Now the problem is that the Delivery time is not captured in quotation level but is not copied to the characterstic value assignment to the network.
    Can some one please help me with this?

  • Delete project/network from assembly processing

    Hi'
    We have a situation where we have created a contract line item with an assembly material = we have a project and network created.
    But - the material is wrong and we want to delete the contract line item and create a new line item with another assembly material.
    I know it is possible to delete the line item - but the project is still not deleted and it is not possible to create a new line item.
    I cannot delete the project because it has connection to contract line item (but I can delete the line item anyway - strange but true).
    How can I solve this problem in the contract?
    Best regards
    Lone Würtz

    Hi'
    When I delete the line item, the Network are marked as deleted - but not the WBS-elements.
    If I try to create the new line item after deletion of the old, I get this error message:
    "Project TM-40102872 is allocated to standard WBS TM-00000008."
    The material I want to add at the new line item is connectec with standard WBS TM-00000009 (another standard project and WBS)
    Then Im asked to enter WBS acct. assng an billing WBS. I can choose from existing operative (not templates/standard WBS)
    After this input I get an error:
    "Error when processing Network
    Message no. V1380"
    I can only choose "Exit" and I leave VA42 without any changes
    I have tried to mark the old WBS-elements with status deletion flag - and the old Project Definition the same. But I still get the same error messages.
    I need to be able to deleted the old project completely.
    I cannot delete the old Project/WBS because the network is allocated to them.
    I cannot remove the allocation between network and WBS (no changes are possible because the network still have connection to a deleted line item).
    Im feel Im in a deadlock

  • How to configure network with just 1 ethernet adapter?

    I was looking for a guide which would talk about how to configure your network in case if you have only 1 Ethernet adapter. Is it mandatory to have more than 1 network card to configure multiple ports? If not, what are the options available to deploy a Virtual Machine that can have applications which are available over the network. I don't have a separate network i.e. public network as well as management network is of same IP range.
    I am having 2 node cluster using NFS for pools as well as repository.

    I was looking for a guide which would talk about how to configure your network in case if you have only 1 Ethernet adapter. Just enable the "Virtual Machine" role on the Management network that is automatically connected. You will then be able to add guest vNICs to the same network.
    I am having 2 node cluster using NFS for pools as well as repository. I strongly recommend you get at least one more physical NIC for your server, if not two: running NFS and the cluster heartbeat and the guest traffic all over the same network is going to put a lot of data down the wire and you may land up in a situation where the cluster traffic is overwhelmed and a node reboots. You need to be very careful in this situation. Network cards are cheap and you should have at least two or three, I reckon.

  • Can only configure network with assistant

    Now, I consider myself fairly network savvy, but I can't figure this out. I use my iBook in two locations. At school I connect to the University's wireless network which makes me sign in through a cgi web form before assigning an IP. At home I connect to a D-link wireless router that I set up with static IP, and mac address filtering. I have two network profiles (Home and School). I make sure not to have my Home profile selected when I connect to school so the DHCP doesn't mess up my settings.
    But I can't connect to my home router. I have the right IP and router address and I tried DHCP. I have the right address in the router's DHCP file and mac filter settings. I can connect to the wireless network but can't actually get to the router/ISP/etc.
    When I press Assist Me... button, and select Diagnostics. It can't fix it. But when I use the "Assistant" and answer the questions it works... the second time.
    I tell it to connect to a wireless network, then it says it can't connect. I click ok, then continue, it tries again and then says "congratulations, you're connected"
    iBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    I guess I forgot to add:
    When I go back to school and come home, the settings that the assistant made no longer work and I have to do the whole thing over. That's the part that doesn't make sense and is very frustrating.

  • Billing relevance in MTO with assembly processing

    Hi, can anyone provide advise on this?
    I created a service material (DIEN) that will generate a production order in the sales order.  However, if i set the billing relevance to 'Not relevant', the production order cannot be created.  Is there a reason why?
    Thanks
    Peter

    system allows me to do so which should not happen
    If you have maintained VTAF copy control for sale order to proforma, then system will allow.  Check whether you have maintained.
    since I need to create a proforma invoice after sales order
    Here I am not clear.  When in first statement, you say it should not happen here you say you need to create.  Please note if you want to create proforma against sale order, you need to maintain copy control as suggested above and also you need to maintain commercial invoice type to your delivery in VTFL, so that system will allow you to create both proforma and commercial invoice.  No need to change the item category which is not standard.
    thanks

  • Networking with solaris 7 on x86

    Hi all
    i installed Solaris 7 on 2 intel pcs. At the time of installing solaris 7, i was only asked to provide the host name, it didn't ask for the IP address. So after installation I saw a line in /etc/hosts file which is different from Sparc machines. Here is how it looked:
    127.0.0.1 localhost loghost neptune
    where neptune the local machine name, where i installed the os. Now i edited the /etc/hosts file following way
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    175.145.135.10 neptune loghost
    after saving it, i tried to ping it:
    ping neptune or ping 175.145.135.10
    i get error message saying "ICMP error, host/gateway unreachable"
    Does anyone have idea how to do networking in x86 running on Solaris 7???
    thanks
    Pranoz

    Hi Allen
    thanks for your help. I did that, but still it did not ask me for ip address or any network info. Then i tried to manually update /etc/hosts file with following lines it:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    175.165.155.10 neptune loghost
    After that i rebooted the machine and tried to
    1. ping 127.0.0.1
    2. ping neptune
    3. ping 175.165.155.10
    #1 returns "127.0.0.1' is alive. But #2 and #3 return following message:
    ICMP Net unreachable from gateway localhost (127.0.0.1) for ICMP from localhost(127.0.0.1) to neptune(175.165.55.10)"
    Does anyone has any experience/idea about how to configure network with solaris 7 on Intel platform??
    Your help is grealty appreciated

  • How to configure network virtualization in SCVMM 2012 R2 with two host

    hi everyone... can you teach me how i configure networking in my infrastructure..
    i am getting confuse that i have 2 phisical server, i don't know to set the netwokring in scvmm. Every best practice, i found in internet is using more than 2 physical server.
    i have been tried before with the networking which i want..but it failed...
    any one help me please...

    This whitepaper should explain the required steps to get this working.
    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Hybrid-Cloud-with-NVGRE-aa6e1e9a
    The whitepaper will use more than two hyper-v hosts, but you'll get the picture.
    You can have 1 host to run your NVGRE VMs, while the other host should be dedicated to run the virtualization gateway VMs.

  • Configuring new iPad with a network with locked down MAC address

    I've just got the new iPad and feel there is a 'flaw' with the new configuration.
    With iOS 5 it reduced the need to 'tether' to a PC, however unlike a Mac, on the packaging box it does not list the MAC address for the iPad.
    Now if your network is locked down with MAC address entry, there is no way of getting that information as it is not shown when using the configurator or as I mentioned, on the box.  The only way to join to your wireless is to remove the access restriction on the network, which runs a security risk.  Or, go 'old skool' and use iTunes to configure, which defeats the point of not being linked to a PC.
    Apple, please either add the MAC address to the packaging label, next to the serial. Or, have the information viewable during the wireless configuration. It's not too much to ask is it ?
    Or does anyone else know of a work around or way of getting this information ?

    When using the 'untethered' configuration, you could choose not to join a network. This would let you setup the iPad with everything except a network connection. Then, I may be wrong here, once up and running go to SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> ABOUT and look down the list. Near the bottom there's an entry for WiFi Address. Looks like a MAC address to me. Put that address in your router and you should be good to go.
    OK, you can't set up the network during the initial 'just out of the box' stage but it's  only one extra step. I think the untethered setup is fine as far as it goes, but maybe there should at least be some documentation to explain how to get the MAC address if it's needed?

  • Problem in Assembly Processing in Project System

    Hello All,
    My Client want to implement Assembly Processing. We have configured the system as per SAP Standard. we are testing this in Quality System along with SD & PP Modules. we have template which contain Material WBS Process WBS & Other Cost WBS But we are getting all cost of material and process cost on one Material WBS after Production order confirmation. How can we divide this cost separately for Material & Process WBS.
    As SAP Standard Process we maintained activities for different process also but when we tested this we are not clear about the use of these activities. We are not getting any cost or don't have any relation in any way for these activities.
    Please Help me about this Assembly Process.
    Thanks
    Warm Regards
    Sunil

    1. Create a Inquiry in VA11 --OK
    *2. Create Quaotation in VA21 wrf to Inquiry*--OK
    3. Create a Sales order in VA01, while creating sales order, as soon as we assign the material component in SD line item a pop will come for entering std wbs, std ntw, network profile. once we enter this at bottom we can see that scheduling is carried out. Note: if we define material/std wbs/std ntw in CN08 then pop will not come. Now check for errors and save the sales order, at bottom we can see that project order is created. Note: Project number is same as sales order no:---OK
    4. in Billing plan tab at item level we can see the milestones for new project.--In sales order i don't see any milestone or any type of setting. can you please tell me about this we are not able to execute milestone billing in our case.
    Ans to Query: For Milestone billing to work you need to do the following settings in SAPSD
    1.     Create Billing Plan in SD and assign the Billing Plan to Sales Document type you are using. Path: IMGSDBillingBilling Plan
    2.     In the above node , do settings for Define Billing Plan Types, Define And Assign Date Categories, Maintain Date Proposals For Billing Plan Types, Assign Billing Plan Types To Sales Document Types, Assign Billing Plan Types To Item Categories.
    By doing above settings you will get an additional tab u201CBilling Planu201D in Sales order where you can get the milestones generated for new project. For exiting project you can copy milestones to SD from project.
    If you want Billing Plan at sales document item level, assign the billing plan type in Item category.
    5. In Sales order we can see that billing lock is set against the milestones.---Not Found
    Ans to Query: By doing the above settings as in slno 4, you can see the billing block against the milestone*6.Now open the project in Cj20n and go to network we can see sales order no with line item no.*---OK
    7. Now verify the mile stones in the project.--Adding milestone but no effect in billing
    *Ans to Query : you can see that milestone no in Sales order and Project will be same. Note: Subject to in your standard network you should have milestones, so that we you create a sales order new milestones will get generated wrt to milestones in Std network. So when project is created you can see mile stones are also created.*8 .check the requirement list in MD04 against the Finished product we can see that requirement is generated againt project wrt to sales order.---No requirement is displayed .
    To generate the requirements. Check the settings in requirement class.
    9. Run MRP in MDBT/MD02/MD01, based on procurement type in MM , PR's and Pld order will generated. Note: ALL PR's and PLD Orders are account assigned to WBS.---When we execute this MRP this is not picking requirement from project. BOM created by CS01. if we assign material to activity than this MRP is picking requirement from project.
    10. Now do Pr>PO>GR>(ALL all accounted against project.--OK
    11. Convert Pld order to Production order> release the order> Goods issues against production order.--OK
    12. Confirm the Procution order wrt routing operation one by one in CO11N.--OK but we want sageregated cost for material cost and process cost to different WBS as we have material WBS and Process WBS.
    Ans to Query: This is not possible because in Assembly order processing single account assignment is only possible for the finished products, and for that finished product routing is also account assigned to the WBS assigned to Production order. So operation cost comes and sits in same WBS. If at all you want to track separately you can  transfer the actual cost for process to process WBS in tcode:KB11N
    Using KB11N tcode we can manual transfer cost from one WBS to another WBS.13. in cost element reports at projects we can see the cost breakup for all production activities as well as for material.--you mean CJI3 report
    *Ans to query: Yes you can see in CJI3 report or in SALR_870135452 report also_*14. settle the production order.----where to settle this production order? and how?
    *Ans to Query: For assembly processing account assignment is u201CQu201D so automatically in production order we can see the settlement rule is set against the WBS. So the cost from production order is settled to WBS and subsequently from project to the respective receiver as per settlement rule in project.*
    15. conform all activities in Project.----OK CN25 or CJ20N
    In any of the above tcodes
    16. Do billing in SD as when when mile stone reaches to post actual revenues.----OK
    17. run RA in KKA2 and save the RA results--OK
    18. Run settlement in CJ88 ---Not using any settlement
    19. set the status of Project as Teco and Clsd.---OK
    Please let me know if you need more clarifications

  • Assembly Processing Information

    Hi,
    I'm new with SAP technology. I'm working on Assembly Processing in order to have automatically filled WBS element in a sales order, once saving it.
    I would like to kindly ask you if the Assembly Processing can be implemented only with Standard WBS (Standard Network) or if it can be implemented with WBS normally (not standard).
    With Standard WBS it is not possible to store any planning data, planned costs or revenues, but business needs is to manage them.
    Thanks a lot,
    Isa

    Hi,
    I agree with what Abdul has to say. Refer SAP Help and get the concept of Assembly Processing cleared. Most of your doubts will get cleared once you are through with that. Secondly, you can refer the WIKI section in SDN. There is a very good article that explains the configuration details required for Assembly Processing.
    This should suffice as of now. Revert later with specific queries.

  • How to configure sso with SSL step by step

    Purpose
    In this document, you can learn how to configure SSO with SSL. After user have certificate installed in browser, he can login without input username and password.
    Overview
    In this document we will demonstrate:
    1.     How to configure OHS support SSL
    2.     How to Register SSO with SSL
    3.     Configure SSO for certificates
    Prerequisites
    Before start this document, you should have:
    1.     Oracle AS 10g infrastructure installed (10.1.2)
    2.     OCA installed
    Note:
    1.     “When you install Oracle infrastructure, please make sure you have select OCA.
    2.     How Certificate-Enabled Authentication Works:
    a.     The user tries to access a partner application.
    b.     The partner application redirects the user to the single sign-on server for authentication. As part of this redirection, the browser sends the user's certificate to the login URL of the server (2a). If it is able to verify the certificate, the server returns the user to the requested application.
    c.     The application delivers content. Users whose browsers are configured to prompt for a certificate-store password may only have to present this password once, depending upon how their browser is configured. If they log out and then attempt to access a partner application, the browser passes their certificate to the single sign-on server automatically. This means that they never really log out. To effectively log out, they must close the browser.
    Enable SSL on the Single Sign-On Middle Tier
    The following steps involve configuring the Oracle HTTP Server. Perform them on the single sign-on middle tier. In doing so, keep the following in mind:
    l     You must configure SSL on the computer where the single sign-on middle tier is running.
    l     You are configuring one-way SSL.
    l     You may enable SSL for simple network encryption; PKI authentication is not required. Note though that you must use a valid wallet and server certificate. The default wallet location is ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/ssl.wlt/default.
    1.     Back up the opmn.xml file, found at ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf
    2.     In opmn.xml, change the value for the start-mode parameter to ssl-enabled. This parameter appears in boldface in the xml tag immediately following.
    <ias-component id="HTTP_Server">
    <process-type id="HTTP_Server" module-id="OHS">
    <module-data>
    <category id="start-parameters">
    <data id="start-mode" value="ssl-enabled"/>
    </category>
    </module-data>
    <process-set id="HTTP_Server" numprocs="1"/>
    </process-type>
    </ias-component>
    3.     Update the distributed cluster management database with the change: ORACLE_HOME/dcm/bin/dcmctl updateconfig -ct opmn
    4.     Reload the modified opmn configuration file:
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl reload
    5.     Keep a non-SSL port active. The External Applications portlet communicates with the single sign-on server over a non-SSL port. The HTTP port is enabled by default. If you have not disabled the port, this step requires no action.
    6.     Apply the rule mod_rewrite to SSL configuration. This step involves modifying the ssl.conf file on the middle-tier computer. The file is at ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf. Back up the file before editing it.
    Because the Oracle HTTP Server has to be available over both HTTP and HTTPS, the SSL host must be configured as a virtual host. Add the lines that follow to the SSL Virtual Hosts section of ssl.conf if they are not already there. These lines ensure that the single sign-on login module in OC4J_SECURITY is invoked when a user logs in to the SSL host.
    <VirtualHost ssl_host:port>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteOptions inherit
    </VirtualHost>
    Save and close the file.
    7.     Update the distributed cluster management database with the changes:
    ORACLE_HOME/dcm/bin/dcmctl updateconfig -ct ohs
    8.     Restart the Oracle HTTP Server:
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl stopproc process-type=HTTP_Server
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl startproc process-type=HTTP_Server
    9.     Verify that you have enabled the single sign-on middle tier for SSL by trying to access the OracleAS welcome page, using the format https://host:ssl_port.
    Reconfigure the Identity Management Infrastructure Database
    Change all references of http in single sign-on URLs to https within the identity management infrastructure database. When you change single sign-on URLs in the database, you must also change these URLs in the targets.xml file on the single sign-on middle tier. targets.xml is the configuration file for the various "targets" that Oracle Enterprise Manager monitors. One of these targets is OracleAS Single Sign-On.
    1.     Change Single Sign-On URLs
    Run the ssocfg script, taking care to enter the command on the computer where the single sign-on middle tier is located. Use the following syntax:
    UNIX:
    $ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin/ssocfg.sh protocol host ssl_port
    Windows:
    %ORACLE_HOME%\sso\bin\ssocfg.bat protocol host ssl_port
    In this case, protocol is https. (To change back to HTTP, use http.) The parameter host is the host name, or server name, of the Oracle HTTP listener for the single sign-on server.
    Here is an example:
    ssocfg.sh https login.acme.com 4443
    2. Restart OC4J_SECURITY instance and verify the configuration
    To determine the correct port number, examine the ssl.conf file. Port 4443 is the port number that the OracleAS installer assigns during installation.
    If you run ssocfg successfully, the script returns a status 0. To confirm that you were successful, restart the OC4J_SECURITY instance:
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=OC4J_SECURITY
    Then try logging in to the single sign-on server at its SSL address:
    https://host:ssl_port/pls/orasso/
         3. Back up the file targets.xml:
    cp ORACLE_HOME/sysman/emd/targets.xml ORACLE_HOME/sysman/emd/targets.xml.backup
    4. Open the file and find the target type oracle_sso_server. Within this target type, locate and edit the three attributes that you passed to ssocfg:
    ·     HTTPMachine—the server host name
    ·     HTTPPort—the server port number
    ·     HTTPProtocol—the server protocol
    If, for example, you run ssocfg like this:
    ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin/ssocfg.sh http sso.mydomain.com:4443
    Update the three attributes this way:
    <Property NAME="HTTPMachine" VALUE="sso.mydomain.com"/>
    <Property NAME="HTTPPort" VALUE="4443"/>
    <Property NAME="HTTPProtocol" VALUE="HTTPS"/>
    5.Save and close the file.
    6.     Reload the OracleAS console:
         ORACLE_HOME/bin/emctl reload
    7. Issue these two commands:
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=HTTP_Server
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=OC4J_SECURITY
    Registering mod_osso
    1.     This command sequence that follows shows a mod_osso instance being reregistered with the single sign-on server.
    $ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin/ssoreg.sh
         -oracle_home_path $ORACLE_HOME
         -config_mod_osso TRUE
         -mod_osso_url https://myhost.mydomain.com:4443
    2.     Restarting the Oracle HTTP Server
    After running ssoreg, restart the Oracle HTTP Server:
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=HTTP_Server
    Configuring the Single Sign-On System for Certificates
    1.     Configure policy.properties with the Default Authentication Plugin
    Update the DefaultAuthLevel section of the policy.properties file with the correct authentication level for certificate sign-on. This file is at ORACLE_HOME/sso/conf. Set the default authentication level to this value:
    DefaultAuthLevel = MediumHighSecurity
    Then, in the Authentication plugins section, pair this authentication level with the default authentication plugin:
    MediumHighSecurity_AuthPlugin = oracle.security.sso.server.auth.SSOX509CertAuth
    2.     Restart the Single Sign-On Middle Tier
    After configuring the server, restart the middle tier:
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=HTTP_Server
    ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=OC4J_SECURITY
    Bringing the SSO Users to OCA User Certificate Request URL
    The OCA server reduces the administrative and maintenance cost of provisioning a user certificate. The OCA server achieves this by authenticating users by using OracleAS SSO server authentication. All users who have an Oracle AS SSO server account can directly get a certificate by using the OCA user interface. This reduces the time normoally requidred to provision a certificate by a certificate authority.
    The URL for the SSO certificate Request is:
    https://<Oracle_HTTP_host>:<oca_ssl_port>/oca/sso_oca_link
    You can configure OCA to provide the user certificate request interface URL to SSO server for display whenever SSO is not using a sertificate to authenticate a user. After the OracleAS SSO server authenticates a user, it then display the OCA screen enabling that user to request a certificate.
    To link the OCA server to OracleAS SSO server, use the following command:
    ocactl linksso
    opmnctl stoproc type=oc4j instancename=oca
    opmnctl startproc type=oc4j instancename=oca
    You also can use ocactl unlinksso to unlink the OCA to SSO.

    I have read the SSO admin guide, and performed the steps for enabling SSL on the SSO, and followed the steps to configure mod_osso with virtual host on port 4443 as mentioned in the admin guide.
    The case now is that when I call my form (which is developed by forms developer suite 10g and deployed on the forms server which is SSO enabled) , it calls the SSO module on port 7777 using http (the default behaviour).
    on a URL that looks like this :
    http://myhostname:7777/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_login?Site2pstoreToken=.......
    and gives the error :
    ( Forbidden
    You don't have permisission to access /sso/auth on this server at port 7777)
    when I manually change the URL to :
    https://myhostname:4443/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_login?Site2pstoreToken=.......
    the SSO works correctly.
    The question is :
    How can I change this default behaviour and make it call SSO on port 4443 using https instead ?
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks in advance

  • I am unable to join my existing wireless network with new AirPort Express

    I am unable to join my existing wireless network with new AirPort Express.
    I am using a DLink DI-524 Router, Windows 7 (64), and the AirPort Express.
    AirPort Utility will not recognize the AEX wirelessly, it will only recognize it when it is connected by Ethernet. I can then configure the AEX and verify that the settings stick once disconnected and then reconnected. However, even after that, it will not recognize the AEX once disconnected from the Ethernet cable.
    I followed the suggestions of several other threads on these forums. But I am unable to get the AEX to work.
    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the discussion area!
    It's almost always a security setting that causes problems when the Airport Express (AX) tries to join a third party wireless network. The AX usually does not "join" correctly and that's why you can't see it on your wireless network using AirPort Utility.
    Using an ethernet cable is still the more reliable way to configure and adjust the AX, but if you are want to try to configure it using wireless, you must return the AX back to factory defaults as follows:
    Power down the AX
    Hold in the reset button +and keep holding it in+ as you plug the AX back in to power
    Release the reset button after 10 seconds
    When it is set to factory defaults, the AX broadcasts a wireless signal with a network name like "apple network xxxxxx" where the "x's" are either letters or numbers. You must look for this network by clicking on the fan shaped Airport icon at the top of the screen. If you don't see this network, then click Join Other Network to search that way. Unless you connect to this network, you will not be able to configure the AX using wireless.
    Do you know the exact security type that your D-Link router is using? That is the key element in the process.
    Open AirPort utility, click Manual Setup
    Click the Base Station tab to establish a name for the AX, device password and adjust time zone settings
    Click the Wireless tab
    Wireless Mode....Join a wireless network
    Wireless Network Name...must exactly match your D-Link wireless network name
    Enable ethernet clients if you want the port to be active (your D-Link must be compatible with ProxySTA for this to work)
    Wireless Security...exact setting of the D-Link network. WEP security causes a lot of issues. Try to use WPA/WPA2 Personal, which is far more secure.
    Wireless Password...must match the D-Link network
    Click the Music icon to enable AirTunes
    Click Update to save settings
    Any luck?
