Configurator error unable to check iOS

Using Apple Configurator 1.6 on an iMac running OS 10.9.5. Have 6 iPads connected via USB hub. I am running in unsupervised mode and am simply trying to update iOS to latest version. iPads are recognized but on all but one I get an error stating "Unable to check iOS." I checked the option to erase the device before installing, but the only one that successfully completed is the one I manually erased all content and settings prior to connecting to Configurator. Is there a way to avoid having to reset all the iPads first? I have already removed the passcode lock and the iPads do not have Find My iPad enabled.

It's been a while, but I think I had to finally completely reset all of them to factory settings, and run them through the entire system again.
It could be the cart (and configurator) having a problem applying settings to multiple OS installs. I'd put my money on this being the issue.

Apple Support had me delete the image file from the following location:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.confi gurator/firmware/
The file name was iPad3,4_8.0_12A365_Restore.ipsw
I deleted this file and ran the prepare again and it download the iOS 8 ok and successfully prepared the iPad.

I have an emergency problom. the context is:
I have a master -detail structure in a form. first, my detail is a tabulation view, so it has severals records. Then, when i try to commit the form ii received the message <<<FRM-40506: Oracle error: unable to check for record uniqueness>>.
i made a test by changing the detail block presentation to Form. and i could save because my detail has one record.
Could someone has any idea how can I save my master-detail form with severals records in my detail.

Configurator is 'Unable to Update iOS". Error 11 (Preflight options copy fail)

I'm attempting to restore 720 iPads to factory settings, and place a Configurator profile on them.
I'm using a Bretford Cart that holds up to 30.
Everytime I run configurator, it's unable to update iOS, and it specifically says that It "failed to copy preflight options during recovery mode restore. Error 11."
Half of them work, and are done correctly, and the other half give the error.
Some of the iPads are on iOS 5, I'm sure, considering the amount of iPads that I'm dealing with. Could this be the issue?
What am I doing wrong?

Ok I bought a movie a few days ago and couldn't download it, System told me to try later. Ok no biggy. I log on the next morning and try again to get the message Unable to check purchases Itunes store is temporarily unavailable. Its been almost a week same message but the store works fine I have bought 2 albums and they downloaded fine. I get the bill for the movie today try to use the "report problem" link and im told Feild name: null. unknown error. Same thing when i try to log into view my account.
I call apple support to be told that all support for the store is online only. Here is where i get a bit mad. If your online support wont let you login how can you get support?
I have restarted, turned off and back one, deleted itunes and reinstalled. I've deleted the keychain and had it rebuilt. For a product thats advertised to "just work" it isn't working as intended.

Hey, I feel your pain...I've been going through this all evening long...I keep resetting my password and then 2 minutes later it doesn't recognize my password and I get the same weird message that you get....Ive sent a message to their "support" lets see how quick they get back to me.....
If anyone has gotten a reply from Apple letting us know the problem ,please let us know.

ITunes 9 - Error: Unable to check for available downloads - Grrrr

I'm getting this frustrating error message while trying to download a digital booklet for Jay Z's Blueprint 3.
Furthermore, it's not allowing me to download any new content. This is very frustrating.
I'm getting the following message:
Unable to check for available downloads. An unknown error occurred (1008).

I also have this same problem with iTunes 9 - I bought a song from the iTunes store successfully, but it hasn't downloaded. When I go to the "Store" menu and select "Check for available downloads" it works for a while and then gives me an error message saying:
"*Unable to check for available downloads. The network connection timed out.*
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again."
It seems that there are others experiencing the same problem, any help from Apple on this one would be greatly appreciated.
I know my connection is working fine, and I can access the store with no problem - it just won't let me download stuff!

I lost my Itunes Library to a hardware failure on a PC. Bought a new MacBook. Contacted Apple and they prepared a download of my 517 songs previously purchased (after the yelled at me for not backing up). Anyway, every time I try to download I get the message above. I can get to the Itunes store and downloading a normal song I purchase but not the big download they prepared for me. Any guesses???

I think the problem is that there are too many items. I had this problem a while back. I tried to get it resolved with the normal customer service e-mail, but the 1st line customer service reps were pretty much clueless. I basically had to get mad and pretend to throw a fit so they would escalate my problem to someone that knew what the **** they were doing. That person was very aware of the cause of my problem. She removed all the items from my download queue and then added back a few and sent me an e-mail telling me to download what was in my queue. Once I emptied the queue, I would e-mail her back and she would prep the next batch. We had to do this a number of times to completely get all the items downloaded. I suggested that they allow people to pick what they wanted to download from their queue so this type of thing wouldn't happen, but they still haven't fixed this problem. I just bought several TV shows and season passes, yesterday, and now I am having that same problem again, sigh... I'll have to go throw a tantrum again and see if I can get the very nice lady that helped me last time.

Unable to check supervision, Apple Configurator

When I connect the specific two ipads to configurator, configurator says "unable to check supervision". But when connected to other configurators, the two ipads get configured well. So I guess it is a issue with the Mac, not iPad. But I have like 50 devices set up in the configurator already, and I don't want to clean out and do it again.
Any suggestions?

I have 2 internal Wifi networks at home. In one (family) the software update works immediately, in the other one (guess) it gives me the same error "Unable to Check for Udpate" ... The guess network I did set up carries some restrictions being the reason why the update does not work.

Alessandro, I'm experiencing almost the same kind of error as described before. However, in my case trx SLDCHECK (executed from the XI server and from the SAP application system) also generates errors. The error Im getting is as follows:
Testing SLD API
An exception has ocurred
Description: Exception in SLD Client: AbapaSLDRequestHandler.ping() server connection *** failed ***
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations
I have to say that the SLD home page from Integration Builder works correctly and when SLDCHECK is executed the browser opens the correct url and loads the page.
I have followed all congiguration steps (maintain SLD details with trx SLDAPICUST, maintain HTTP and TCP/IP destinations, activate XI services, etc..) mentioned in the SAP documentation, however the problem persists.

Unable to check for available downloads.

I've been getting the message, "Unable to check for available downloads. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." all September long and I'm not sure how to fix it.
I've been told by iTunes support that it should be up within 24 hours but it's been over 500 hours so far.
I've been told maybe my iTunes is out of date but I have the most recent.
I've also been told it's my ISP/ net connection but I have no problems downloading some things.
I have had 40 items unable to be downloaded for a while and that annoyed me but tonight I tried downloading 5 more songs and then I had to accept a new 'Terms of Service' so I did and then those 5 ended up with the 5 others in some kind of file purgatory.
Not sure how much this could help but iTunes Support doesn't seem to care and they just told me to ask here instead of them.

And how do you check each pending download? My download screen has absolutely nothing on it. At the bottom of it there is "16 iTunes Downloads Available." I click on the download button next to it and get the same error: "Unable to check for available downloads. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." in my downloads window in iTunes it shows i have "28 iTunes downloads available". when i try to download them, i get the error "Unable to check for available downloads. the network connection was lost."
my connection is fine though, as i can individually download purchases by clicking on the cloud icon.

I followed the advice on Holgr's link, i used screen flow to capture the error message, and then made the video available to apple support. My issue was immediately escalated, and my account started working again shortly after.
I received no additional messages from tech support, i had no idea the problem was resolved until i tried it again.

I can no longer download purchased content. Each time I check for available downloads I get an error message that says "Unable to check for available downloads. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
The screen says I have 17 itunes downloads available but cannot download them. The most recent purchase I am not able to download is Season 3 of Dexter in standard def and some other season passes. This is really annoying; I already paid for the content and am not able to watch it...

After sending two e-mails and recording a screen-cast video solved the problem.
