you can create your own customized probes. See also Darren´s history probes, they already have the function to change the radix.

For your issue, you can go to Site Settings -> Site Collection Administration -> Search Settings -> set "Site Collection Search Dropdown Mode" to "Show scopes dropdown":

Configuring HTTP Probe

Hi All,
I want to configure a new HTTP Probe. The application server was installed with the following URL: http://lta43:8011/HealthApp/health.txt
The goal is ACE can monitor this URL.
What would be the way to configure the Probe in the ACE?

Hi Jaime,
The minimum configuration you would need is the following:
probe http
port 8011
request method get url /HealthApp/health.txt
expect status 200 200
As you can see, I didn't configure the hostname of the server anywhere. That's because the probe will be associated to a real server, and the IP address will be the one of the server it's checking.
There are also several other parameters you can configure the probe, such as timers or headers to be inserted into the request, so I would recommend you to have a look at the relevant chapter of the configuration guide:

Debug Probes @ Vivado

Hello everybody!
I tried to include some debug probes in Vivado 2015.2 after synthesis according to the working flow with PlanAhead/FPGA editor.
I found the AR#53266 with attached tcl script.
First I searched for nets:
get_nets *LED*
LED[0] LED[1] LED[2] LED[3] LED[4] LED[5] LED[6] LED[7]
Then I entered
apps::addProbe <>/<>/LED[0] F3 LVCMOS33 Debug0
Vivado answered with:
WARNING: [Vivado 12-507] No nets matched '<>/<>/LED[0]'.
WARNING: [Vivado 12-180] No cells matched 'get_cells -filter IS_PRIMITIVE -of [get_nets -segments {<>/<>/LED[0]}]'.
WARNING: [Coretcl 2-30] Cannot find net '<>/<>/LED[0]'.
I'm a little confused, because I really don't get it?!

Install the tcl app in 2015.2 by running following tcl command
tclapp::install debugutils
xilinx::debugutils::add_probe -help
This will give you the details about the proc and how to use it.
Example given is
::xilinx::debugutils::add_probe -net cpuEngine/or1200_cpu/p_0_in[10] -port myprobe -iostandard HSTL -loc W26

Configuration Manager - How to display all config info?

I noticed that the Configuration Manager doesn't display (and allow you to edit) all of the info in configuration.xml. For example, the openhttp proxy properties aren't listed. Is it possible to expose these through the Configuration Manager? This link (the lone comment at the bottom of the page) seems to indicate that it is indeed possible but offers no explanation:

In JSF tags Iu2019m setting only path to file. In my bean Iu2019m using u201CReportClientDocumentu201D object itu2019s easy way to load report file (u201Copenu201D method) and set parameters (u201CgetDataDefController().getParameterFieldController()u201D method) and also connect to data base (u201Clogonu201D method) but I havenu2019t this property u201CsetSeparatePages(boolean)u201D.
Maybe Iu2019m doing this wrong and there is a simpler way maybe I can use somehow u201CCrystalReportVieweru201D please give my any advice.

Can I access probe image display property node?

Working with labview 2010.
I would like to use a user defined palette in the probe image display.
I know how to do it for standard image display, but not for the probe viewer. Is it possible to access the property node of that display?

It sounds like you want to enable Snapshot mode on the image display controls. Note that you will then need to wire the image to the display reference each time that you want the display to be updated.

How to configure the iTunes,to display only folder name as Album.

How to configure the iTunes,to display only folder name as Album under Music.
I have a folder with name "English" under this I have plenty of folders which are either movie names or custom names created by me,inside of these are the music files. I just want all the files to be copied to the iPod with out any album artwork(which the itunes display under "Album By Artist" contains).The "Album By Artist" doesnt seem to contain just the folder name,it gets something else like the website from where the music file downloaded. This makes me irritating to browse through iPod or iTunes.
Please help me in configuring,so that I can just see the same folder/music hierarchy I see in my windows machine in the iPod.

Yep, I agree with Jurjen. It is not only limited to ACTVT, but rather fields of other objects as well which are "action" or "activity" related.
I would start the other way around - give them '03' only and investigate any transaction specific claims that it is not enough. There will be a few...

ACE how to debug probes

Hi,
We have several probes configured for our serverfarms. Some of the probes and rservers are alerting for timeouts or regex's not found etc.
What's the best way to check if this is a rserver or probe problem ? Using captures ?
Or is it possible to debug the probes ?

Adding an "IMAQ Image.ctl" to the "Display State.ctl" of an XControl prevents LabVIEW from creating a probe of "Display State.ctl"

I am working on an extended IMAQ Display control using LabVIEWs XControl capabilities.
I need a copy of the original image passed to add some overlays which must not affect the original image. To achieve this I am creating a backup image in the "Init.vi" and deleting it in the "Uninit.vi". I am storing the reference of this image in the "Display State.ctl" which is part of every XControl.
As soon as I am adding an "IMAQ Image.ctl" to the Display State cluster, it is no longer possible to generate a probe of the Display State cluster for debugging purposses. I am always getting the message: "Failed to load or create probe."
Deleting the "IMAQ Image.ctl" from the cluster makes the probe working again.
Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
I am working with LabVIEW 8.5 and Vision 8.5.

I found a example/knowledge base where some informations were included to XControl and LV but not with Vision.

Performance Issues with Debugging even in Display Mode

Hi not certain if this would sit in Security, ABAP or Basis, but lets start here as it is security related.
S_DEVELOP with any activity on DEBUG on a production system is a concern, but what are the performance related issues when a super user has to go into debug in display only on a production system because of a really complex issue?
I've heard in the past of a scenario where system performance was impacted, and we have notes around the allocation of S_DEVELOP display DEBUG access to this point. (I've summarised these below)
The risk with debug is associated with the length of time that the actual debugging process is being performed.
u2022 Work processes are dedicated solely to the users for the duration of the debug. If these are being performed for a long time, these can cause issues with not enough work processes being available.
u2022 It can cause DB2 locks. If the debug session last awhile, DB2 locks are not released. This impacts the availability of tablespaces, thus, affecting various transactions running across the system.
Even with these concerns, security will often get asked for debug display access.
As security is about risk identification, assessment and then controlled access what do other organisations do?
Options (not exhaustive) are "No Debug ever" or "Debug display only via a fire fight or super user on a time limited basis".
We are currently in the "debug display only via fire fight" camp, but would like to canvas opinion on this.
As one of the concepts of security is Availability of data (and to an extent ensuring the systems are up and running) do the performance risks push the security function to the "No Debug Ever" stance.

If you need to debug in production, then 9 times out of 10 you need to do root-cause analysis: The developer is the problem.
Writing sloppy code and not testing properly should not be an excuse for debugging in production.
But of course, there are exceptions even when you do try to keep them to a minimum.
To add to Jurjen's comments, also note that the debugger only has a limited capability of doing a rollback. So you can quite easily and unintentionally create inconsistencies in the system - also in display mode - which is an integrity problem, and typically more critical than availability problems or even potential confidentiality concerns.

Error while configuring Debugging for WebDynpro Application

Hi Experts,
I am trying to configure Portal server for debugging a WebDynpro application.
In NWDS , in Debug configuration
When i tried to add my Webdynpro Project and application under Debug tab , No problem.
But when i checked J2EE Engine tab : it showed the following error.
<b>[J2EE Engine]: the selected server node does not run in restricted load balancing mode, please configure it correctly so that the URL extention can be used</b>
And ignoring it when i started debugging the application , the URL was formed like this :
http://<host>:50000/@@@DEBUG@@@7672950/webdynpro/dispatcher
/local/WDtest/WDtest?SAPtestId=1
with the error : The requested resource does not exist.
Details: Go to main page of this application!
Can anybody help me to fix the configuration.

Hi,
To configure to the debugging mode... follow the steps:
1. Select "SDM" from J2EE engine (To get this view navigate thru Window--> Show View --> J2EE Engine)
2. Make a right click on "SDM" and choose "Enabling Debugging of Process"
3. Now, Navigate to Run --> Debug --> Select your Project as "Webdynpro Application" and click "new" button
4. Now give some name and Click BROWSE to select ur project and then click APPLY and DEBUG
Or if u use 2004s, then u can do the settings in Portal itself...which gives u more clear information... follow the link

How can I configure an adapter to display something on console

Hi,
I am new to OIM and have a very basic question to ask. i have to create a process task,if the value for department field from USR table changes then console should get updated with "department for <uername> has got changed. Also mail should get generated for this activity.
From my knowledge we have to configure an adapter and attach it with process task but not sure how to configure an adapter to perform this task.
Please let me know what should be mentioned in the adapter.

Prob in displaying de whole image in a canvas

i m trying to display de sys image in a canvas n its workin.. de prob is de whole image is not visible as de canvas size is smaller than image size... de same occurs when applying images to JButton...
any suggestions??????

Apply an AffineTransform with the right scale values to the graphics object before you draw the image. I think there were some recent topics on exactly the same thing... so you can check those out too.

Configured new language not displayed in user profile Language options

I have a requirement to add new language in portal. In that I have configured the language u201Chindiu201D in portal content translation.Now i want to configure language options in userprofile.
These are the procedures I have followed
1 .On the file server navigate to
<Installation-drive>:usrsap<SID><Instance_ID>SDM
ootoriginsap.com com.sap.security.core.adminSAP AG<version_number>com.sap.security.core.admin.630.ear
From here extract the com.sap.security.core.useradmin.war.
2.In com.sap.security.core.useradmin.war file and add u201C hi = Hindi u201C in Language_en.properties
3.Create a copy of Language_en.properties, and save as Language_hi.properties at any location.
Now we have to do some changes with the help of configtool.bat
So start the tool by executing.
<SAPJ2EEEngine_installation>j2eeconfigtoolconfigtool.bat>
Now Switch to configure mode.
In the Tree navigate to cluster_data>>persistant>>com.sap.security.core.ume.services.
Now switch between view and edit mode and choose yes.
4.By right clicking on com.security.core.ume.service create a Sub node. And choose
File-entry and upload the language_hi.properties that you have created in previous step.
5.Create and Close the Window. And just restart all cluster nodes
                        After the above configuration, the language u201Chindiu201D is added and I can able to see the language in self registration Language options.but it is not displayed in userprofile language options.
                        how to configure this Please help me.
