Configuring PO screen in SRM

I am in SRM 5.0 , I am in PO screen. I wanted disable few fields in the PO screen.
How can I do the same?
I wanted to disable Purchase Order Response Field.

The configure bar gets about an 1/8 full and then just does nothing. I think its lists the update as combo update? cant remember with out checking.
I have tried to do the disk verify and repair but this has made no difference.
Please let me know what i need to do, I have reformatted the mac just to start over as was clogged with a lot of useless data, I had installed lion (10.7) from the app store previously and now cant seem to find a way to re install lion. I hope I dont need to pay for it again?

If you erased your hard drive, you'll need to reinstll OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to access the App store. You won't have to pay for OS X 10.7 Lion again. Did you try booting to the recovery partition by holding the command and r keys down? If that's still there, you can reinstall OS X 10.7 from there.
If you're looking to install the current iTunes, you need OS X 10.6.8 at a minimum.
If you're still trying to update OS X 10.5 Leopard, you can download the combo update from here. Download, use Disk Utility to repair permissions, apply the update, then repair permissions again. That will take you to OS X 10.5.8.

Custom fields on Purchase order screen in SRM are missing.

SRM 5.0 R/3 4.6c
We have custom fields which appear on the create PO in SRM, the criteria for these fields to appear is if the item is of service type.So if its service item there will be additional/ custom fields for input purchase order screen in SRM,
But at this these fields dont show up for service item PO's . this is happening in Q and P environments while it is working fine in D and S. No changes were made to the system.
Also if I look in to bbp_pd info for the previous service PO, the data shows up in bbp_pd but the data or the custom fields are missing on the web.
We tried deactivating/activating the custom class in Q , but that did not help us!
Consider this as urgernt!
Can anyone please throw some light on this!

if yes, then keep a break point there and see if you are missing any thing there...

Ship-to Address" screen in SRM browser need to change to display only

Hi Freinds,
Ship-To Address" screen in SRM browser needs to change to "Display" only. The users shouldn´t have the possibility to change the delivery address in the screen to their own private address.
Is it possbile to do any changes in SRM itself or else its purely JAVA HTML work.
Kindly i need you guys help to resolve the above development.

Nevertheless, if Ship-To must be only in display mode for all users (independently of their role) and only for particular document types, you can manage it with partner schema:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Define Partner Schema
Then maintain this partner schema ID to your concerned document type:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Define Transaction Types

In order to I can specify a screen sequence group for the processing of inquiries and quotations. In this case, the screens and their sequence would differ from the screen sequence for, say, creating a sales order.

Configuring Accounts Screen Based on BP Roles

Hi Experts ,
We have a requirement where we would like to configure the screen based on BP Roles .
That is ,
If we have BP Role as "Prospect " we should be able to display only few fields .
For other BP roles we should have different screens .
Can any one let us know how do we approach this ?

Hi,
I think that you know how to maintain different configs based on pfcg role, component usage, ui object and sub-object. If that method cannot help you, create dummy ui object types in configuration(SPRO). Next, create different configs using the config tool based on the UI objects. Note: You can also use existing UI objects, with some thought. Next, in the controller class of the view, redefine the method "DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION" if required and depending on bp role, load different configurations.

Shopping cart screen in SRM Add-on UI is not working

Recently we had upgraded SRM Add-on UI package, when we tried to open the shopping cart screen from BSP page (i.e. link: https://sapsrxa1.flextronics.com:8012/sap/bc/bsp/srmnxp/shoppingcart/defaults.htm ), the page is throwing BSP exception as 'The object default.htm in the URL / sap / bc / bsp / srmnxp / shoppingcart / default.htm? Sap-client = 100 & sap-sessioncmd = open is not valid.' Could you please help me to fix this issue.

Step 1: Manage System Alias
Post Gateway installation, the SRM server (upon which GW is installed) needs to have system alias.
Path : SPROà SAP Implementation Guide à SAP Web Application Server à Gateway à OData Channel à Configuration à Connection Settings àSAP Netweaver Gateway to SAP System à Manage SAP System Alias
1. Create a new entry, maintain SAP SYSTEM ALIAS as LOCAL or use the SID of the SRM server as the alias name
2. Check Local GW checkbox
3. Maintain RFC Destination as NONE
4. Maintain Software Version as DEFAULT
Step 2: Maintain Gateway Services
In this step, Gateway services delivered by SRM UI Add-on are activated.
Path : SPROà SAP Implementation Guide à SAP Web Application Server à Gateway à OData Channel à Administration à General Settings à Activate and maintain Services
1. Click “Add Service” for activating gateway services
2. On the filter, set System Alias (with the name provided in the last step e.g. LOCAL) and search.
3. Pick every Service with namespace “/SRMNXP/” and click the service hyperlink.
4. In the Activation Popup, maintain the proposed technical service name and technical model name and press ok.
5. Once all services are activated they appear on the main page.

Creating custom field in ASN screen of SRM SUS

Our requirment is as follows
A custom defined field is to be created in the ASN screen under the Delivery Information block (under the field Bill of Ladding)
As in the normal scenario of ASN the shipment notification is sent to R/3 through XI. Now this new custom field is also to be sent to R/3 through XI in the normal way. This field carries a alphanumerical value
Could someone help us in this regard, how to create this new field in SRM and map it to XI

For addind new fields in SRM-SUS scenarios
First add an field in the inbound delivery in R3 tables
Second map the same in XI in the adapter engine in the mappping process
third add field at the table level in SRM also refer note 672960 where it is refering the INCL_EEW_* structures .
Secndly modify the template which is dispayed on the SUS portal .

Addition of new tabs under contract item screen in SRM 7.0

Hello Experts,
My requirement is to add the three new tabs with custom fields under the contract item screen.
I thin i have to user web-dynpro ABAP for this requirement since it is SRM 7.0. Once i developm the web dynpro applications separately for each tab, how do i integrate those web dynpro with the contract item dynpro and how to populate the values for the new fields added in the tabs. if i want to fetch the data from the custom tables into the tabs, i need to create a new web dynpro where i will write the logic to fetch the values, but to fetch the values i should first get the input data from the contract scrren which is a standard application. In the new tabs, i need to display and edit values for demands ( purchase requisitions ) for that contract line items, so i sould get the material number, year of demand, purchasing organisation etc from the contract screen. So it means i have to enahnce the main screen for contract item.
Please advise how to achieve this.
I have seen the details for adding a new fields to the the contract item scrren and some oss notes , but here i need to add the new tabs and custom fields into that and i need to integrate these data with the contract line item.

EDIT button not visible in Display Shopping Cart screen in SRM portal

Hello everyone,
I am facing one strange problem in SRM portal.
When i create a new shopping cart ON BEHALF of someone then after SAVING the shopping cart the EDIT button disappears from the screen.
But if i create a shopping cart for myself only then the EDIT button appears properly.
My system is SRM 7.0 .
Please if anyone has solution to this kindly reply

COPY/PASTE buttons in SC screens in SRM 7.1

Hi,
We are on SRM 7.0.1.
The issue we are facing is regarding the "COPY" and "PASTE" buttons in
the shopping carts screens.
The main difference between "COPY/PASTE" and "DUPLICATE" buttons is
that we can copy items from one shopping cart into the clipboard and
paste them in a different shopping cart wherease "DUPLICATE" button
would be used to duplicate/copy items from in the same shopping cart.
In our system,however,we are unable to copy items from one shopping
cart (say 100) into the clipboard and try to copy them into another
shopping cart(say 200).
NOTE:The 2nd shopping cart(200) is not an already created shopping cart
in which we are trying to paste the items from cart 100.Cart 200 is
created after cart 100(in one shop screen).
The shopping cart creation is done through "ONE SCREEN" transaction.
Please advise.

Please be specific about copy/Paste button in Shopping cart line (or) you want in
Account Assignment tab.
In the account assignment tab the copy functionality will work . it will be copied to the clip board
check this

Caption on logon screen in SRM 5.0!!

We want to display a caption on the SRM 5.0 screen in the header area. The caption will be "Welcome, USER-NAME". We are trying to change the HTML Template to get this output. However, since I do not know HTML codes, I dont know how to dynamically get the current user name on the screen.
Please help with your suggestions.

Hello Rajeev,
if you want to make an output to your HTML document, simply add
write(something);
to your template. In your particular case you can use
write("Hello " & ~login);
Please take the ` (backticks) into account. At start the template is in HTML Business mode. But with a backtick you can switch to HTML (and back to HTML Business).
Example:
`<html><body><p>`write("Hello world!");`</p></body></html>`

How to disable Login Screen in SRM

Hi All,
Client has enabled SSO in their system and SRM is part of it. Hence they are not directed to SRM login page.
But for certain cases and unknown reasons, the login page appears. So they want to diable the login screen page and display error text instead.
I tried to modify the template BBPGLOBAL - Login, but is not successful. Even if I comment out the whole code in the template,the screen is displayed.
Is this something to do with ITS ?
