Hi SAP'ions,
I would like to know the configaration steps and related customizings for purchase documents such as PO,RFQ,PR,CONTRACTS...

From below path you can do the field selection....
SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> PO --> Define screen layout...
SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> PR --> Define screen layout...
SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing > RFQ> Define screen layout...
SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> Contract --> Define screen layout...
And if you are asking any presetting for posting of PO and other docs then only Vendor master is necessary for PO...
Also, PO is possible without vendor also...
For PR, you make without Vendor also...
For RFQ and contract you req. material and vendor...

U can do this,only the way to delete that document type for certain peroid.

Release Procedure for Service Entry Sheet Wr to the Purchasing document
Hi,
I have configured the Service entry sheet release procedure on the basis of Purchase order document type by creating Characteristic With table -field (CESSR - BSART) and also class is maintained where the defined characteristic has been assigned.Release group is assigned to the class and all necessary customizing activities carried over. I assigned release group n Strategy thru Cl20n and also checked in Cl30n for the document type where system is exactly proposing only one value for the document type. But when i create Service entry sheet thru ML81N after saving the document i checked for release strategy through Goto-> Service entry sheet -> Release Strategy which is grey mode.
I tried thru ML85 System says that no suitable purchasing document is available for release.

How to configure the share document option
After installing, testing and de-installing Sparrow Mail I am not able to share a document thru the Share Via Mail command. Nothing happens after selecting Pages, Word or PDF.

Open the field purchase document number in vendor invoice
Hi,
I've to open the purchase document number field in the vendor invoice transaction (FB60) for the reconciliation vendor account?
I've done these operations in customizing:
- set the field purchase order in the Field status group like optional
- set the tield purchase order in the posting key control (31 and 21)
Could you suggest me how to open the field?

Can you please provide me the solution for this as I too am facing a similar problem. While posting an entry using FB01/F-43, for posting key 31(Vendor Invoice), despite making Purchasing Document field optional in field status group of the posting key as well as Reconciliation (GL) Account, the Purchasing Document field is not appearing.

Send Purchasing Documents via email/fax to vendor
Hi all,
I have a customer requirement wherein Purchasing documents such as RFQ, PO etc need to be sent to vendors via email/fax. To cater to the customer's form requirements, we developed smartforms instead of using the standard MM purchasing smartforms. To call these smartforms in the print programs, we copied the standard print program SAPFM06P and commented out the function module ME_PRINT_PO in the routine ENTRY_NEU and added the our own code to call the custom smartform. The custom code segment in the print program is attached for reference.
Now, when we are trying to generate messages for the purchasing documents using output type External Send, the custom program does not pick up the email address maintained in the vendor master and instead picks up email address maintained in RFQ or PO initiator's user profile. We have made the required configuration for SCOT and SOST tcodes.
We tested the same scenario requirement using the standard print program and got the desired results i.e. the print program picked up the email address maintained in the vendor master. But with this approach, we cannot use our custom smartform.
Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

Thanks for the response but I think you missed the point here. I am using different output types for RFQ and PO as well as different custom smart forms and we are using the same custom print program to generate output for both.
The issue is with the print program and not the output type as I mentioned that I have already got this thing working on our IDES using the standard print program and standard forms.
Tomas Talpa's response seems to be helpful. I'll get my technical consultant to amend the code accordingly and see if it works.

Release Procedure for every Purchasing documents

for a procument of material eg:- Material007
Can I set Release Procedure for Purchase rquisition
then after releasing Purchase rquisition i need to create a RFQ
which is also subject to Release Procedure ,After releasing RFQ I should able to enter into a Contract,which also subject to Release Procedure ,After releasing Contract i need to create a Purchase Order which is also subject to Release Procedure,After releasing Purchase Order only I should be able to Receive the goods.
Is it possible to do this way ?Can any one help me?

Use
This setting is incorporated to just give demonstration of how SAP Release procedure works. The aim of this procedure is to replace manual written authorization procedures using signatures by an electronic one, while maintaining the dual Ctrl principle. The person responsible processes the purchasing document in the system, thereby marking it with an "electronic signature" which can give the document legal force.
3.4.24.1 Creation of Characteristics
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the Characteristic screen, make the following entries.

25. If you want to simulate the release procedure you can choose Release Simulation icon.
26. Choose Enter to complete the entries.
27. To save the settings choose Save icon or Ctrl + S.
Result
Release procedure is saved.
3.4.24.4 Assignment of Values to Release Procedure
As a default all the purchase documents >= Rs. 1000000.00 is suggested in the following step of release procedure, if you want to have different one you need to change the value in the following step. If you do not want release procedure you may change the value to Zero.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the Class screen, make the following entries:

System will give Class name in Assignments, Double choose Class Name.

Report for MRP controller and relevant purchasing document

My requirement :We have MRP controller for different diciplines(mech, electrical, Instrumentation.......ect).
I want to search for a report Where it display me the Purchasing document(PO) number by respective decipline.
I tried all the report in MRP controller such as MC.E, MC.D, COOIS.........ect

When i enter the T.code: ME5A ( i can not find the scope of list ALV but did find the entried as below)

If i select "C" from the list i'm getting 1 line display but as you told i did press the CTRL+F8 but unable to get the cost) it does not work at all like dat.
I'm using the system version 4.6C. Can you please suggest something on the report.

Unable to trace out the Reference Document number in commitment line item.
Dear All,
Kindly help me in bellow problem
When I click the reference document no. in the line item wise display the commitment in t-code S_ALR_87013558 at that time the system open the display PR screen and the massage is displayed in the below, the Purchase document does not exist.
Due to this reason the price capture in commitment line item is not traceable and I am not able to delete the commitment line item.
Kindly suggest how to trace out the reference document number and delete it and release the commitment price.

Can you explain what is your requirement..?
Do you want to correct the data in the report..?
Or it is effecting your availability control and you want to correct it..?
Or you want to trace a deleted document..? Which is not possible... -
PO number not appearing in Purchasing Document number

I have posted a MIRO. PO number: 4500000013. Now when i see in FBL1N & vendor open items, PO number does not appear in Purchasing Document field. Let me know how to bring the PO number.

The display of the purchasing document number for customers/vendors via the line item display is not possible. However, you can branch from the vendors/customers line item display into the document overview and there display the purchasing document number for the individual G/L account line items.

Archiving MM_EKKO (Purchasing documents with attachments)
We would like to start archiving MM_EKKO Purchasing documents. The units have been attaching items, quotes for example, to the purchasing documents. The attachments currently exist within the R/3 data base. If we archive MM_EKKO items the attachments will be lost. What we need to do is identify all the attachments and move them to content server.
Where are these attachment stored i.e in which table.?
Is there any procedure for archiving attachments?Hi
All the attchments are stored in link table that is TOA01/02/03.
