Connect a CMD600 charge amplifier in TCP/UDP with LV2009

hi there,
I 'm triing to connect an HMB CMD600 charge amplifier using LAN with TCP/UDP.
Should i use, the standart Open/Read/Close TCP functions or UDP or something else?
How can i know or set the IP or port to listen ?
I 've got 2 amplifiers to connect simultenaously, is it possible ? with a switch or with 2 wires from 2 LAN ports ?
And last one : What s the maximum frequency of aquisition ?
Sadly, i dont have access to the amplifier to test anyting.
Thanks a lot

  • Maximum number of tcp/udp connections

I've got a WRT54G and recently I contacted linksys suport due to some problems I was having with
BitTorrent clients(very common issue it seems). I have a home lan with 3 computers,
and if 2 or more of them are on at the same time(even when only 1 is using bittorrent), the connection keeps going
    down.
Linksys support told me a lot of routers face this problem since bittorrent works by opening lots of simultaneous
tcp/udp connetions, and one thing I should do is try to limit these connections to a number the router can handle.
Even though I might experience some poor speeds limiting connections, it seems it's all I have left. So, not a
problem at all, except one question which brings us to the purpose of this message:
Approximately HOW MANY TCP/UDP CONNECTIONS can WRT54g handle at the SAME TIME?
Since I'm to share among 3 users, all of which are torrent freaks, I'm gonna have one heck of a hard time tryin' to
guess the maximum number of connections each should have, specially when they're all on at the same time.
Support said they don't have that information. So does anyone out there have a good guess?
And also, does anyone know of any Linksys router (for home use) that is able to work with torrents without any
    problem at all?

    The wrt54g(s) upto v4 and the wrt54gL use a Linux 2.4.20 kernel.
This Linux-kernel set a max of 1024 connections and a hastable of max 128 buckets, the gs models with 32 Mbyte have 2048/256.
    I see three problems:
    1. The following patch is not applied to the kernel: Netfilter / connection Tracking Remote DoS, CVE: CAN-2003-0187
    2. The hashsize is wrongly set, de default kernel 2.4.20 values are wrong, and may NOT be an even number (128), it should be a prime number.
    3. The ratio between hashsize and max amount of connections should be set to 1 and not 8, this to increase performance.
Some improvement is made by Linksys in firmware version 4.21.1 and 4.30.9 (are neerly the same) .
    I hope this information helps,

  • Routing non-TCP/UDP traffic while using FWLB on CSS 11503s

    Hello all,
I've been tasked to setup up FWLB with CSS 11503's as shown below. The issue is that intranet workstations use VPN client software when connecting to certain sites through the Internet and other times they use http or https (for connection to different sites). Because no flow is setup for ipsec and ECMP uses per packet routing for non TCP/UDP traffic, I'm concerned that load balancing through the firewalls will occur on a per packet basis. If that is true, stateful inspection in the firewalls will block asymmetrical traffic flows.
Is my understanding correct? And, if so, is there a way to configure the CSS units to deal with this?
    Thanks in advance.
(sorry for the dots in the drawing but the spaces kept getting deleted)

for non-flowy traffic like IPSEC, we use a hash algorithm to decide where to send the traffic.
So, it's not per packet loadbalancing.
The same source/destination ip/port will always go to the same firewall.

  • What TCP/UDP ports need to be open for VPN Client version 4.8?

What TCP/UDP ports need to be open for Cisco VPN Client version 4.8 to work?
    Thanks,

Normally, you need the following ports and protocol :
    UDP 500
    UDP 4500
    ESP
In case, you are using IPSec over TCP you have to open, TCP port 10000 or any other port you want to use for IPSec connections (Its configurable).

  • TCP/UDP Port Utilization question for CCX 8.5

    Greetings,
I have gone through the CCX 8.5 TCP/UDP port utilization guide.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_5/configuration/guide/uccx851pug.pdf
I always do this as a matter of practice and I had a question concerning Java RMI ports. In the guide there is an ephemeral range TCP:32768-61000 that is used for Java RMI. Based on the context clues in the footnote this is an intra-cluster communication between processes running on CCX. This jives with ACLs I have built for previous versions.
The hang up I have is that Table 1 (page 6) of the guide shows that one of the remote devices is "Editor". I take this to mean CRS Editor, which can run on a desktop in the environment. I want to keep the ACL as trim as possible, so I don't want to open up the TCP ephemeral range unnecessarily. So, I guess my question is:
When that document refers to "Editor" do they mean that the CRS Editor is communicating using the referenced ports? Or is there a server-side process called Editor listening on those ports. The shift in how I apparently have to account for RMI is causing me to question.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bill

I followed the port guide, but am still having issues connecting to the editor from my workstation with my access-list in place.
When I remove the ACL the editor connects and I can do reactive debugging. The ACL breaks this.
    Followed this
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_9_02/configuration/guide/UCCX_BK_P89325D5_00_port-utilization-guide-uccx-902.pdf
Does anyone have a sample acl that works?

  • E4200 TCP UDP timeout configuration

There is anyway to change the timeout on the tcp/udp connection? So the router close the connection automatically.

I think it’s not part of the feature of this Soho router.

  • CTC TCP/UDP Ports numbers

Does anyone know the TCP/UDP Port numbers that have to be opened up when using NAT, this is what I have:
    CTC PC >>>>>>>>>>> ROUTER >>>>>>>>>>>ONS15454
The CTC PC and the ONS are on different IP Networks so I'm the router to translate from one to the other with NAT, configured the ONS15454 to use Socks.
I used to have a document that explained this but I've lost it.
    THanks
    Chris

    Hi Chris.
I see you already have provisioned the node for SOCKS Proxy.  If you want to be able to still have IP connectivity (for ping or telnet) to the ENE's, then enable the SOCKS Proxy Only option.  The SOCKS Proxy needs to be provisioned on the LAN connected 15454 at the very least.  You can also go to the CTC drop down menu:  Edit -> Preferences -> Firewall and change the port from being variable to static default.  That will further restrict the ports that are used by CTC.  This should resolve any intermittent connectivity issues in CTC if it is being caused by a firewall.
    www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/optical/15000r9_1/15454/sonet/reference/guide/454a91_nwconnectivity.html#wp42216
"If  you launch CTC against a node through a Network Address Translation  (NAT) or Port Address Translation (PAT) router and that node does not  have proxy enabled, your CTC session starts and initially appears to be  fine. However, CTC never receives alarm updates and disconnects and  reconnects every two minutes. If the proxy is accidentally disabled, it  is still possible to enable the proxy during a reconnect cycle and  recover your ability to manage the node, even through a NAT/PAT  firewall."
Lastly, to answer your question directly below is a link to the list:

  • I dropped my iPod Touch and now it won't come on without it being connected to a charger but it won't charge either...

So I was in the bathroom, cleaning my iPod case, and I accidentally dropped my unprotected iPod Touch from about two or three feet up.
I picked it up and tried to turn it on, but it would not work.
I freaked out and went to my charger in my room and connected my iPod to it, and soon the Apple logo came on and it turned on.
I was relieved, but the time was set to the wrong time, so I set the time to the right one, and took the charger out.
As soon as I pulled the connecting cable thing out, my ipod went black and wouldn't turn on again.
It's not charging either, as the symbol on the battery up in the upper right corner doesn't have the lightning symbol, but the symbol that looks like the part of something that uses electricity that you plug into the concent (or whatever that is called)
And when I connect it to the computer, the apple logo comes on, then goes black, then comes on and keeps on doing that, and it will not show on iTunes.
I have tried pressing the home and off buttons for 10 seconds to reset it, and turned it on and off... but my iPod just will not charge OR turn on without being connected to the charger.
Are there any more things I could try, or will I have to go to Apple and get it fixed??

I would not waste any more time.  If a reset did not fix it, and given what you describe, it sure sounds like a hardware issue.
The bad news is that accidental damage is not covered under warranty, so you may have to pay for an out of warranty exchange.
Do you have a recent backup to restore from if you end up with a refurbished exchange unit?  If not, ask the Apple folks to try and recover and transfer what is on there now at least, before you surrender the damaged one to them.

  • Ipod shuffle 4th generation device not shown on itunes, not charging. Seeing red light when connecting to USB charger for a few seconds, then nothing. How to fix this?

My ipod shuffle 4th generation was working fine for a few months. My son then bit the USB charger. I bought a new USB charger, but the shuffle is not charging and not showing up under the devices in itunes. It also doesn't appear in my windows under my computer. Just to note. I also have a new ipod touch. I am able to charge that fine on the same computer using the USB charger. The device (Ipod touch) does show up in windows and in itunes. The shuffle doesn't show in either place.
I have tried to use the apple support page. I went through each step. I made all of my USB drives not shut down, I had my computer on all night to try and charge the shuffle. All I see is a red light that appears on the shuffle for a few seconds when I first connect the USB charger to the computer. Then, nothing. Since this was working a bit ago, I don't think that I have a defective shuffle. The USB charger is brand new, I just picked it up yesterday from the apple store. I have the short one, and the longer cable as well.
Any help that you might be able to give to me would be much appreciated. My daughter is missing listening to her music. Thanks!

Instead of "charger," you should call it the "USB cable" to avoid confusion.  When started reading your post, I was thinking, how can your son break a USB power adapter (the "charger" that plugs into a wall socket) by biting it...
Since you got the product with the two USB cables at the Apple Store, you have the right replacement (some third-party replacements are for the 2nd gen shuffle and do not work with the 4th gen shuffle).  Make sure you are completely inserting the plug into the headphones jack.  The fit may be tighter than expected, since the connectors are new.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3572
If you tried both of those cables, it would be unlikely that you got two faulty cables in one package.  If a new USB device has been added to the computer between the time it worked with the old cable and now, there could be a problem on the USB bus (such as not enough power or a device conflict).
As a test, you should shut down (power off) the computer and disconnect all USB devices (including any hub), except for standard keyboard and mouse (if used).  Do this to reset the shuffle

Start up computer, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle by itself to a direct USB port on the computer.

  • HP DV6000 series laptop - Shut down immediately as soon as I connect the power Charger

    Hi,
I am using a hp dv6000 series laptop for last 2 years....  Accidentally, water fell on my laptop and then my laptop itself fell down from the table.
One the first day when I tried restarting it  there was no response ( No power LED no display nothing, no cpu fan etc ...)
I disassembled the laptop, cleaned the RAM hard disk, front bezel, keyboard. I used a hair dryer to dry out any of the moisture. My laptop then started showing some response ... now after 4 days .... it is working all fine except the display...
    The problem is :
    1. The Laptop backlight is not working... (but I can see the display with a external flashlight pointed to screen)
    2. The laptop works fine on battery... but as soon as I connect the power charger... it immediatly shuts down.
Currently because of display problem... I am using the (RDP) windows remote desktop connection from an another laptop to access the desktop.... I logged on from another laptop and checked that all the internal harware parts are working fine.
Also, sometimes suddenly randomly the display backlight starts working fine and goes off randomly.
Please suggest. I seached all the online help but I have found no help on "Shut down immediately as soon as I connect the power Charger"...
    thanks.

It sounds like the LCD power inverter has been damaged and would need to be replaced.  As far as the AC adapter/battery issue, I'm not sure.  It sounds like you need to retire this notebook early.

Can the iPod touch 5g connect to an audio amplifier via lightning to 30 pin adaptor and through a 30 pin to RCA cable adaptor? It works on the latest iPod nano but it doesn't on iPhone 6. I have spoken to the apple reseller sales personnel but he has no clue.

If it works on the 7G Nano and does not on the iPhone 6 I would not expect it to work on the 5G iPod..

I typically just use it to charge on my bed side table. When its connected and the phone rings it just vibrates with so ringtone, i believe its trying to send the ring tone out via the line out. Am i able to tell it to just use the inbuilt phone speaker?

  • My macbook works well while connected to the charger, but using the battery it gets really slow

My macbook pro 2011 yosemite 10.10.1, (2,3 GHz Intel Core i5 / 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 / Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB) recently started to present a problem that when using only the battery, it gets really slow, but connected to the charger, it operates normally. I have already taken to a technical assistance but was not presented any problem in the battery. And when I open activity monitor it shows that the kernel_task process uses almost 100% CPU and so is almost 0% idle, so it is almost impossible to use the computer (using the battery). Is there anything I can do to prevent this process using 100% CPU?

My recommendation for a SMC reset was initiated by your posts indication poor performance when under battery power.  Often a SMC reset will correct bad battery behavior but apparently not in your case.
Look at this article and see if there are any possible hints for correction of the problem:
    http://www.cnet.com/news/kerneltask-process-taking-up-an-inordinate-amount-of-cp u/
If not, the the best option will be an Apple store genius bar appointment.
