Connection lost to user XY
Hello! We use mobile Windows XP Embedded machines with SAP GUI 6.40 on fork lifters. The connection is provided via WLAN. But it happens from time to time that the SAP GUI hangs and they have to wait (for 3-5 minutes) until the "connection lost" error comes or they reboot the machine. What is happening here? The log has 2 entries for each break down (translated from german):
a) system call recv failed (errno 10054)
b) connection to user 6159 (NUMBER), Terminal 59 (NUMBER) lost
I checked the network with a mobile notebook and it looks ok. I don´t think it´s the wireless network. It must be something else. It can happen while performing a transaction, also when logging in.
Thanks for any help!
It´s patch level 28. I will see if I can try to use 7.00... strange thing is, if there are multiple SAP windows open, only one hangs, the others run ok.

Starting Oracle 11gr2 Im getting Error: ORA-03135: connection lost contact
Hi Guys!
Thanks for your advises. I still working toward a resolution.
But I encountered another issue from Enterp Manager :
ERROR : Please correct the following error: Connection string must be specified.
My connection has this format:
//using connection string attributes to connect to Oracle Database
con.ConnectionString = "User Id=scott;Password=tiger;Data Source=oracle";
con.Open();
Console.WriteLine("Connected to Oracle" + con.ServerVersion);
Please tell me what is wrong here. Thanks. Dan.

Edited by: ghd on 20/11/2009 05:30 PMYou are right, i added the complete error
By chance do yo have a recommendation where can i look for to find the source problem?
Because in oracle client's logs or database's logs i can't find the ORA-03135 : connection lost contact

ORA-03135 (connection lost contact) DB link
Hi all,
We get ORA-02068 and ORA-03135 (connection lost contact) errors when we test a database link to a remote oracle database.. We get this error with the DBA user ( no problem with SYS ) .. There is no matching Connection ID in the client/server trace files..Ora-3135 ORA-2019 ORA-2058 ORA-2068 ORA-2050: Failed Distributed Transactions [ID 1012842.102]

Oracle.ManagedDataAccess raise ORA-03135: Connection lost contact
Hi,
I am trying to connect to Oracle RAC using Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll 4.121.2.0 (latest release)
All instances fail to run and raise the exception OracleInternal.Network.NetworkException (0x80004005): ORA-03135: Connection lost contact ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine
Except one instance it works fine…, I want to know what is the difference that made it run…, also I was able to connect using the unmanaged driver and the old driver and using sqlplus..
The DBA sees the connection with this error:
opiodr aborting process unknown ospid (6904) as a result of ORA-609
Below the code, App.config, and Trace result, I am showing both the bad connection (badConn) and good connection (goodConn)
Code:
string constr1 = "DATA SOURCE=badConn;"; // or GoodConn;
string constr2 = "USER ID=scott;Password=tiger;";
string constr3 = "persist security info=True;Self Tuning=True;Min Pool Size=3;Max Pool Size=12;Incr Pool Size=3;Decr Pool Size=1;Connection Timeout=20;Connection Lifetime=59;";
Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client.OracleConnection conn1;
string constr = constr1 + constr2;// +constr3; I tried with and without the third part
using (conn1 = new Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client.OracleConnection(constr))
try
conn1.Open();
Console.WriteLine(constr1 + " connected sucessfully...");
catch (Exception e)
Console.WriteLine(e.Message);
//throw;

Help - ORA-03135: connection lost contact
I was running the scripts for loading the data into my database through the sql*plus. The client (sql*plus) is on the same machine where the database is installed. So there is no network in the picture. After running the script for more than 6 hours, I got with the following error..
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-03135: connection lost contact
I did the primary checks but could not find out why it happend. Can anybody help to find the root of the problem?These are general user data populating scripts which fills data into application tables through the backend for the purpose of load testing (how much data the application is comfortable with).
There are many scripts run in sequence. One script correspond to one table. It generates the data through CTAS (Create Table As Select) statement. And then creates primary key, indexes, foreing keys, and other constraits.
Just for your information, I am pasting the error log...

I have done the application with two type of authentication
First one is the presenter
Second one is the viewer
(both are connect to the same FMS application)
i want to notify the viewer when presenter log out or connection lost , how it's possible, please help me, thanks in advanceoh yeah I was a little hasty on this one sorry. I would probably have an object on the server side that tracks all users and have an attribute that denotes presenter or subscriber. something like
//intialize in onAppStart
this.adminObj = new Object();
//get user data from connection string on client side
"rtmp://192.168.1.102/someApp/someInstance","userNameVariable"
//add username in onConnect to Object
client.userName=userName;
this.userObj[client.userName]=client;
//call this from client side depending on whether the user chooses to be presenter or subscriber.
Client.prototype.setStreamID = function(userName,streamType){
this.userObj[client.userName].streamID = streamType;
//find out onDisconnect what type the client is.
//application.onDisconnect = function(oldClient)
if(application.userObj[oldClient.userName].streamID=="presenter"){
//then either send or call the subscribers
//This is imperfect just an example of how I might go about it.........I've also have tracke FPS on the client side to see when the presenter stops presenting. to track frames per second though you need to continously poll the fps property of the netstream with either a timer or onEnter (onEnterFrame). -

Connection lost between Nokia 616 Car Kit and a No...
I recently upgraded from a Nokia 9300 to an E71, but retained my Nokia 616 Car Kit. The Nokia website confirms that the E71 and 616 are compatible. My E71 has been paired with the 616 and configured as User 1 in remote SIM mode. The E71 Bluetooth settings have been set up so that it will connect automatically, without asking authorisation every time.
The E71 connects to the car kit without a problem, when the car is started, but often looses the connection during the trip. The 616 will then display “Connection Lost”, followed by the request “Reconnect to User 1?”. Strangely the black “User 1” phone icon is still displayed in the top right-hand corner of the 616 display. When I push the Navi Wheel it attempts to reconnect, but every time it comes back with the message “User 1 Not Found”, despite the fact that the phone has not been moved and is still less than 1m from the 616 controller. I can only reconnect after the vehicle had been switched off and restarted, i.e. when the 616 reboots.
Why does it frequently loose connection? A number of times I have noticed that it looses connection when I drive through an area with no or a very weak cell phone signal. I don’t think the cell phone signal strength should have an effect on the Bluetooth connection between phone and car kit.
Why won’t it re-connect? I can’t stop and switch off the car every time the connection is lost!
Any help will be appreciated.Hi, I have bought a car with this equipment and I have the same problem.
I tried following:
PAIRING:
- first from the phone discover Bluetooth accessories - it will find the N616
- enter the code to the phone
- N616 ask for the same code as you enter to the phone - enter it
After this, the phone is paired, but not connected.
CONNECTING:
- then set up Bluetooth in the phone as visible
- try connect (as user 1 or user 2) from N616 to the phone - you do not need to specify which phone has N616 to find - it will find your phone if it is visible (one step before)
- if everything is OK, your phone is connected
- you can access the menu, reset N616 to factory settings - but you need to make all steps again
This list works for me, any other steps not... -
Wireless connection lost upon wake from sleep
I recently joined the 21st century and purchased broadband internet for my home. I am connecting via wireless ethernet using an original Airport card and flying-saucer type base station. All I did was connect the base station to the cable modem with an ethernet cable, plug it in, and restart my eMac. The network showed up right away and I was connected. Unfortunately, after my Mac went to sleep and I woke it up, not only was there not a connection, but there was no sign of the network.
Airport status showed it was still on, but in the spot where the networks show there was nothing. Restarting corrected the problem, but I assume only until it sleeps again. I can change the settings to make it monitor-only sleep, but I would like a more permanent solution.
What might help to fix the problem, and was there something I needed to do besides just turn my machine off and on to set up this network?
Thanks.If you pose this problem over in the Airport or Tiger networking forums, you'll find you've stumbled into a morass of conflicting reports. There have been a disturbing number of reports of Airport connections lost in Tiger after wake from system sleep, usually not reconnected until after a restart. Some people have some success checking the box to put the Airport icon in the menubar ans using that to turn Airport off, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on, yet others have reported that only works part of the time and others report it doesn't work at all. Some have reported improvement after downloading and running the full OS X Update Combo 10.4.10 (PPC) on top of an OS updated via Software Update. And the large majority of Airport users never report any problems at all using Tiger. It really sounds like there's no one cause and no one fix.
There is a workaround: don't let the Mac go into system sleep. Use the Energy Saver system preference to set system sleep to Never, uncheck the 'put hard drives to sleep when possible' box, and set the display-only sleep to say 20 minutes. If the eMac is in a bedroom and the sleepers are sensitive to fan noise or power LED lights, that will be a problem, but likely less aggravating than losing your broadband connection. -
Mac Flash Player Installer stalls at 25% or 30% followed by Connection Lost Start Over, which I do with same result.
This morning we resolved a problem that prevented Flash Player installations from completing for some of our Macintosh users.
If you encountered this problem, please delete any previously downloaded Flash Player installer and either:
1.) Download the installer again from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

Hello
I have a single computer that is going to be shared between 5 people. In an effort to save time. I wanted the users to have a single shared LOCAL login to the computer.
Then each user could pull up an RDS session through RDWEB on our 2012 r2 RDS farm.
However, when I attempt to log in more than one user through RDWEB I receive:
Another user of your computer is currently using this connection. This user must disconnect before you can log on.
I have done some research on this, and followed this advice, and did the following steps on all my RDS session host and broker servers
Enable Multiple RDP Sessions
- Log into the server using Remote Desktop.
- Open the start screen (press the Windows key) and type gpedit.msc and open it
- Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Connections.
- Set Restrict Remote Desktop Services user to a single Remote Desktop Services session to Disabled.
- Double click Limit number of connections and set the RD Maximum Connections allowed to 999999.
However, it did not solve the problem. Anyone have suggestions?Hi Michael,
In addition you can try below registry setting for multiple remote session.
HKEY_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server
fSingleSessionPerUser REG_DWORD 0x00000000
Note: By default the registry value is set to 1, but you need to change to 0.
Also if you are making connection through gateway then recheck whether the setting is enabled on gateway side for multiple session.
Hope it helps!
Thanks.
