i have tried all the things like.
Network Cable Change
NIC Card Change
Switch Port Change
Switch Change
IpV6 Disable
but still i got same problem
Kindly help me to solve this iisuue

1. Sometimes it may be normal behaviour. Partly interrupted ping stream need not be a sign of something wrong.
2. There are more parameters that may play the role, namely the client. SMB version mismatch, autotuning and similar problems may cause irregularities. Also another computer on the same network may cause problem. (see 5)
3. Are there any errors in Event logs? Is there any unresolved problem in Device manager (wrong NIC driver)?
4. Use performance monitor to exclude problem with longer queues for NIC.
5. Use network monitor for catching and analyzing network traffic.

    Hi ORashid,
Try to type in a command prompt the following:
    SQLCMD -L
It will list you all SQLSERVER INSTANCES and its names, after that, you can try to connect to the correct name.
Try to check for the protocols (SHARED MEMORY, TCP/IP and NAMED PIPES) are enabled
And finally check if the SQL Server Browser service is running...

  • Linked Server unable to Connect in SQL Server 2012 after Restarting SQL Server Service it works fine. Why?

I have created a Linked Server to Access Database of 64 MB in Size located in Remote System to SQL Server 2012.In Start for Some time it works fine and after it is giving the Error
OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" for linked server "LANDLINE_TEST" returned message "Cannot open a database created with a previous version of your application.".

Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" for linked server "LANDLINE_TEST".
Previously I thought it as Permission Issue. By trying some fixes proposed in forums it not fixed. But, after restarting the SQL Server Services without changes to the linked Server it works perfectly. How could i fix it. I don't want restart the SQL Server
Service it leads to Some other process failures.
    RehaanKhan. M

After all the Errors, When I am restarting the SQL Server its working correctly.
Whats the problem it is clearing itself after restarting of SQL Server. Why ?. I can't find anything regarding this in SQL Server .
The following are the Errors i got connecting to SQl Server.
OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" for linked server "LANDLINE_TEST" returned message "Cannot open a database created with a previous version of your application.".
    Msg 7303, Level 16, State 1, Procedure Insert_Records_Into_Actual_Calls_History, Line 29
Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" for linked server "LANDLINE_TEST".

Cannot obtain the required interface ("IID_IDBCreateCommand") from OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" for linked server "LANDLINE_TEST".
for to fix above error i have followed the instructions in the following link,
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dataaccesstechnologies/archive/2010/08/19/permissions-needed-to-set-up-linked-server-with-out-of-process-provider.aspx
This also failed to work. I Restarted SQL Server and make the Linked Server Properties Default to my Configuration and it works fine.
Can you suggest me a solution for this issue. Every time i don't want to restart SQL Server Services as it effects other jobs and Processes.
    Thank you.

  • Could not connect to SQL Server 2012 Remotely

    Hello,
I have a situation as follows:
    The Server
SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition installed on Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition
Active Directory is installed on the same server as well
Remote Access Role added and configured to connect VPN
    DNS Role added
    Windows Firewall is disabled
The Server is connected to the internet
SQL Server Service & SQL Browser both are running under domain accounts
    SQL Server allows remote connections
    The Router
The router that connects the server to the Internet is configured to:
Enable VPN Tunnels Protocols (PPTP, L2TP and IPSec)
Forwarding > Virtual Servers (all requests on TCP and UDP on all ports to the server local IP)
    The Client
PC running Windows 7 SP1 with SQL Server 2012 Express
    Joined AD on the server
    Connected to the internet
    VPN Connected to the Server
    Can Remote Desktop the Server
Can ping the server host name
Can nslookup the server host name
    The Problem
If Both the Server and the Client are connected in the same Local Area Network, Client can connect to the SQL Serve
Once the Client is placed in different location connected to the Interent, VPN connected as described above, I could not connect to the Server using:
    Windows Authentication Domain Users or
    SQL Server users
    and the error message is:
    Cannot connect to SERVER\SQLINSTANCE.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider:

    Hello Hilary,
I have been working on a small replication test.
On the Publisher, things went smooth and the Snapshot Agent was able to work and produce a snapshot written in a shared folder located on the Publisher
On the Subscriber, as I am testing from SQL Server Express, I had run the following command:
replmerg.exe -Publisher [SERVER\SQLInstance] -PublisherDB [dbRepl] -PublisherSecurityMode 0 -PublisherLogin rplMergeAgent -PublisherPassword p@ssw0rd -Publication [TEST Publication] -Distributor [SERVER\SQLInstance] -DistributorSecurityMode 0 -DistributorLogin

    Publisher and Distributor

    Merge Agent

    Login to Publication Database (dbRepl)
    Login to Distribution Database (distribution)
    Member of PAL
    Granted the following at Subscriber:
db_owner fixed database role in Subscription database (dbRepl)
I couldn't grant rplMergeAgent Read Permission on SnapshotFolder as it is only a SQL Login.
When I ran the above command line, I received the following error:

  • Printer Connections listed in Server 2012 R2 GPO cannot be removed.

We had a 2012 R2 Print Server crash as a result of a bad driver install. We were able to get the server running again but our users were experiencing erratic printing behavior.
The printers were pushed out via group policy before the Print Server had problems. We eventually chose to remove the printers from the directory and reversed the settings to deploy using group policy. We then deleted the offending printers
expecting group policy to update itself. Unfortunately, I now have two very import GPOs that are still showing "Printer Connections" that are pushing these printers to my users and computers. I am unable to delete the printers from the computers
but more importantly I need the "Printer Connections" setting to be removed so that it doesn't keep pushing out these printers any longer.
I have read numerous posts regarding this and can't seem to find a way to modify the policy directly and the Print Server is no longer active. We are running Server 2012 R2 with Windows 7 Pro clients. The Print Server was a member server and not a domain
    controller.
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
    Shawn

I can edit every setting but the one that shows in the report and yes I am logged in as a domain admin.
The clients are still having these printers pushed to them even though the print server is no longer active on the network. Since I can't reverse their publication to the GPOs from a non-existent server I looked for a way to modify the policy but there is
    none.
According to the report the setting should exist under Computer Configuration>Policies>Windows Settings. There is no such object in GPO Editor.
Very aggravating. At this point I am in the process of recreating the GPOs that were affected. In the future I will use dedicated policies for publishing printers so that I can simply delete the policy if this should occur again. However, it
seems odd that a setting that is displayed in the report does not correspond to any setting in the Group Policy Management Editor.

  • EJB3: JNDI connection problem managed server

    Hi all,
In a JUnit test, I tried to look up a Session EJB from a remote managed server:
    Hashtable<String, String> props = new Hashtable<String, String>();
    props.put(javax.naming.Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
    props.put(javax.naming.Context.PROVIDER_URL, "t3://server1.ux.yucom.es:1751");
    props.put(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "userName");
    props.put(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "pwd");
    props.put(weblogic.jndi.WLContext.ALLOW_EXTERNAL_APP_LOOKUP, "true");
    InitialContext context = new InitialContext(props);
    Command command = (Command) context.lookup(jndiName);
But the code already fails while instantiating the InitialContext, because of a connection problem:
Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: t3://server1.ux.yucom.es:1751: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect; No available router to destination

         at weblogic.rjvm.RJVMFinder.findOrCreate(RJVMFinder.java:188)
         ... 36 more
I'm able to connect to the the Admin server... In this case I receive a javax.naming.NameNotFoundException, obviously, since the remote EJB is only targetted on the managed server and not on the admin.
This is confirmed by following little test on the command line:
    java -cp %WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic.jar weblogic.Admin -url t3://server1.ux.yucom.es:1700 -username <user> -password <pwd> PING
    => OK, packets received
    java -cp %WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic.jar weblogic.Admin -url t3://server1.ux.yucom.es:1751 -username <user> -password <pwd> PING
    => Failure:
Failed to connect to server1.ux.yucom.es:1751: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect; No available router to destination
Does anyone has an idea why the connection to the managed server fails??
Is it a configuration problem in WebLogic?
    Thx a lot!
    Wim.

    Hi,
Are you able to Remotely Access any Simple Web Application deployed on "server1.ux.yucom.es:1751".
    Example: http://server1.ux.yucom.es:1751/TestApp/index.jsp
If NOT: Means Some where there is a problem with the Port...Just for testing Try Changin Manged Server port to Default HTTP Port (80).
If Yes: Then there are chances that Your Box is not allowing any t3-Protocol Traffic on 1751 Port. Just for Testing Enable HTTP Tunneling on this Server from Admin Console
AdminConsole --> Home-->Summary Of Servers --->ManagedServer1 ---> Protocol (Tab) ---> HTTP (SubTab) --->Enable Tunneling (Check This Check Box)    Save the changes.
And then After restarting your Server ... Try to ping your Server using:
    java -cp %WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic.jar weblogic.Admin -url http://server1.ux.yucom.es:1751 -username <user> -password <pwd> PING
In the Above command Use HTTP protocol instead of T3. If Now u are able to Ping the Server means Your Port 1751 was not allowing any other Protocol except HTTP.
    Thanks

  • VSS problems on Server 2012

We have a number of Server 2012 servers and two Server 2012 R2 servers.  I use Windows Server Backup to back them up nightly to a remote share.  This worked fine on them for several weeks.  About two weeks ago, one of the Server 2012 servers
began to have the following problem:
    - Backup failed saying the System Writer could not be found
    - Listing writers showed it was not there
    - A lot of stuff on the web talked about permissions issues but this did not seem to be the case.
    - Just restarting the Cryptographic Services service fixes the problem for that day - I can backup multiple times in the same day.  But overnight the problem recurs until I restart the Cryptographic Services service
A few days later one of my Server 2012 R2 servers had the problem.  Restarting cryptsvc fixed it, and the problem did not recur for a few days.  Then it did.
    So right now:
    - One Server 2012 server has to have the cryptsvc restarted daily
    - One Server 2012 R2 server has to have it restarted occasionally - maybe once a week.
There has been no change - no new software, etc - in either server.  The backups worked fine for weeks and then this problem happened.
The Server 2012 server is an admin server and has a lot of software installed; the other has the Pulse software installed and nothing else.
I have tried a number of recommended solutions off the web, all to no avail.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello John,
System State backup using Windows Server Backup fails with error: System writer is not found in the backup
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-US;2009272
The issue is caused by a permissions issues with the COM+ Event System Service.
Check for the existence of a GPO that is setting this permission or if this was not intended then you can simply reset the permissions for the Service Logon User. In this case that is the Local Service.
    Checking for the GPO:
    Start Group Policy Manager
Expand Policies then Windows Settings and then Security Settings
Under Security Settings locate System Services and click on it
Locate "COM+ Event System" in the list of services and confirm that both the "Startup" and "Permissions" columns are set to "Not Defined".
If these are settings are configured you will need to consult with the customer as to what purpose this serves in the environment before making any changes
NOTE: Making changes to a group policy can effect all computers in which the policy applies to. Take extra care to confirm that the changes you are making will not affect the environment negatively.
Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.

  • Unable to connect to DPM Server 2012 SP1

We are getting the below on client machine when we have successfully install DPM Console on client machine SCOM console is already installed on the client and rights are already given to client on SCOM roles DPM Read Only Operator and SCOM console is open
on client machine we are using SCOM 2012 SP1 and DPM 2012 SP1 The error which I got is given below when we try to connect the DPM and one more thing if use RUN As Adminsitrator on client machine to connect the console from DPM ADMIN ID it will connects but
from the client ID it doesn't connect it and gives the below error. Kindly tell me the solution
Unable to connect to DPM Server Name (ID:33333)
    1. Verify that the DPM service is running on this computer
    2. Verify that the current has been added to at least one of the roles in scom
    3. Open SCOM Console and then try launching the dpm console
    4. If you have re-imported the mp recently the role configuration may be corrupted. Open the DPM specific roles
and check if the roles have task assigned to them. If not delete the roles and recreate them.

This is not about the security. There are two replicated sql servers. One of them is working read / write and one of them is working in read-only mode. We plan to decrease read load by connecting the read-only instance.  But we do not know which server is read-only, sql server manages it.
If i can use oledb connection i can reach the read-only instance by adding ApplicationIntent=READONLY statement in connection string.
I'd like to know that i can connect to read-only instance of sql server in Data services.

  • Anywhere Access VPN problem on Server 2012 R2

I am having trouble with Anywhere Access VPN on Server Essentials on 2012 R2.
If I use a browser from the outside world and enter my external IP address I get a login to the server.
If I use a browser from the outside world and enter the remoteaccess site I get a login to the server.
If I try to connect through the VPN from the outside world I get a login request which I complete successfully I then get:
"Error Connecting to myserver.remotewebaccess.com Error 720 a connection to the remote computer could not be established you might need to change the network settings for this connection"
Locally I go to the Essentials console and try to configure Anywhere Access.
When I open the settings window for Anywhere Access  I get the message that it is updating then I get the message "Issues detected. Click repair to attempt resolving the issues" I click on "Repair", after a warning window about
availability the Repair Anywhere Access Window opens and says Setting up Remote Desktop.  The green bar scrolls but it never completes. (tried for hours)
I have tried rebooting and repeating the repair, but I get the same results.
The router is a 3801HGV that does not support uPnP. I have forwarded ports 443, and 80 to the server.

    Hi,
Would you please let me know if refer to the suggestion that IKFI provided and solve this issue?
Based on your description, please let me know the client OS that you use firstly. Meanwhile, please refer to
the following KB, and then check if can solve this issue.
Error 720: No PPP Control Protocols Configured
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314869/en-us
In addition, would you please let me know if have a DHCP Server in your local network? If not, you have to
add a static address pool. Meanwhile, please refer to the following article and check if miss something when you install VPN.

    http://www.thomasmaurer.ch/2012/07/how-to-install-vpn-on-windows-server-2012/
There is a similar question that you can also refer to.

  • DHCP Problems in Server 2012

    Hello everyone,
Please Help or Point me in a good direction!!!
I am working with server 2012 DHCP . Under DHCP i have an ip address not a server name. ip  is 169.254.99.88 and host server not showing up ( This IP is Not In My Subnet and server is set to static ip 176.16.x.x)
i have removed the dhcp roll and when  i go back and add the roll  the info comes back including the  scope that i have setup. all is green but it will not work
I have pic but can not post them until they are able to verify your account.

I'm not clear on your explanations, but I will try to answer some things.
"Under DHCP i have an ip address not a server name"  Not sure what you mean by this.
"ip  is 169.254.99.88 and host server not showing up ( This IP is Not In My Subnet and server is set to static ip 176.16.x.x)"  Again, not sure what you mean.  I assume you are talking about a client machine that you want to receive
an IP address.  The 169.254/16 address is what is known as an APIPA address.  It is an automatic assignment of a special range (169.254/16) for networks that do not have a DHCP available.  By default, all Windows NIC are initially configured
for DHCP, and it they cannot find a DHCP server, they receive an APIPA address.  It allows two (or more) systems on the same network segment to communicate via IP without any additional configuration.  But, it is not something that you want to rely
on in a managed network.  As for the fact that your server is set to 176.16/16, are you saying that is the address of the server you are trying to set up for DHCP, or the server that is showing the APIPA address is configured to have a 176.16/16 address?
If you are saying that your DHCP server has a 176.16/16 address, and that is its only address, then you will have an issue with your DHCP configuration.  In your pictures, you show that you have defined your address pool for the 192.168.1/24 subnet.
The DHCP server needs to have a NIC on the subnet for which it is going to provide addresses.  If you want your host to be managed through the 176.16/16 address, you still need to have another NIC defined on the 192.168.1/24 subnet in order to be able
to talk to machines requesting DHCP from that subnet.
If I have misinterpretted your explanation, please correct me.
