Connector certrificate renewal fails

Hi I had to renew my scom connector cert yesterday. However, I'm able to create a new certificate. I'm always given the following error below.

Hi,
According to the error message in your first post, the SSL connection cannot be established.
Please follow the suggestion there to verify that the WinRM service is automaticly started,and is configured to listen for HTTPS requests.
We may also need consult the logs and documentation for the WS-Management service running on the destination, most commonly IIS or WinRM. If the destination is the WinRM service, run the following command:
winrm quickconfig -transport:https

Please note that any query that generates multiple SQL statements is not supported in the Query Panel in Crystal Reports.
I guess this Universe is generating multiple SQLs and hence the error.
I found this option while I was searching for something else: Could you try turning off the "Multiple SQL statement for each measure" in the Universe parameters and see if it works?

JDBC Connector service - lookup fails

We have EP6 SP14 on Linux. I am trying to access some data from external database SQL Server 2000. I tried two different sets of drivers in Visual Admin --> Services --> JDBC Connector but the context lookup fails.
Set 1:
msbase.jar,msutil.jar, mssqlserver.jar
JDBC 1.x compliant
Driver class: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
also tried com.sap.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
URL: jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://sqlser2:1433;databaseName=repdb
Set 2:
P9sqlserver.jar, P9base.jar, P9util.jar
JDBC 1.x compliant
Driver class: com.sap.portals.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver

The connection works fine if use the traditional way

Computer Certificate Renewal - Failing

Greetings,
System setup: Server 2008 R2 with "Network Policy and Access Services" role configured to hand out wireless machine certificates to Windows 7 workstations.
This has been set up for a year and has been working well. We have a groups policy which allows for auto-enrollment and all our workstations which are in the correct OU receive a certificate when thye connect to the network.
The machine certs are good for a year.
We are now approaching the end of the first year since we implemented this system and we are starting to see some of our workstations failing to connect to the wireless network. When we look at the certificates on the workstation we see 2 certificates
now (as opposed to the one that was there previously). One of these is expired and one is current with an expiration date a year from now. When we manually delete the expired certificate, we are able to connect to the wireless.
Apparently when the certificate is renewed, a new certificate is dropped down, but the old certificate is not removed. When the machine tries to connect the old cert is found and the connection fails.
What I think should be happening is that the certs should be renewed not replaced, but I can't see anyway to enforce this.
I know that when I manually renew the certificate on the workstation I have 4 choices:
Request Certificate with new key.
Request NEW Certificate with the same key
Renew certificate with new key
Renew this certificate with the same key
What appears to be happening is that the workstations are doing a request, not a renew.
I have been through my Radius config and the GPO and can't find anything that should affect this. I know that the GPO is being applied to the machines, and I'm about 99% sure that the GPO is correct.
Any ideas where I should be looking?

Check your configuration, confirm that the following option is checked.
Renew expired certificates, update pending certificates, and remove revoked certificates
Configure Certificate Autoenrollment

You can also manually revoke the expired certificate in CA.

SAPRouter Certification renew fail.getting error while generating new Cert

Our SAP router certification expired.
Now i m trying to renew the Router Certificate to get connection with SAP.
The fallowing steps i am doing ...
Taken backup of SAPROUTER folder ie: c:\SAPROUTER\
i have deteted the files local.pse, Cert_V2, srcert.txt and certreq from c:\SAPROUTER\
Step 1:
In the SAP Router PC, given the   sapgenpse command from SAPROUTER path

SCOM Alerts Connector run as failed

I have setup the SCOM alerts connector in SCSM but after that i starts to get wernings in scom on servers there are in a difrent domain.

The Health Service cannot verify the future validity of the RunAs account Domain1\SCOMAlertsConnectorUser for management group SCOMMG01. The error is Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested
logon type at this computer.(1385L).
SCSM and scom is in domain1
the servers i got the werning on is in Domain2
what can i do to fix this?

The connectors runas account must be administrator in SCOM (as I recall). Is that the case for Domain2?

Business Connector Inbound process failed

Hi,
We have a requirement to import a QALITY IDoc into the Business Connector 4.7 to send to customer in CSV flat file. However, everything when I tried to import the IDocs (I have configured the partner profile and the routing rule), I receive an stack overflow error when the process gets to wm.PartnerMgr.flow.RCVR.SENDER.MSGTYP. I am using wm.wmPartnerMgr.~B2B.InboundProcess to receive. I would really appreciated it if anybody can tell how to overcome this problem. Thanks.

When you are done with developing connector code in Jdeveloper, right click on project, click New, select Ant and Buildfile from project and click Ok.
Click Ok again on the next screen
Again right click on your project and select Project Properties and under Ant, select Properties and add the following and click Ok

Exchange Connector 3.1 Fails on Test of "Run as Account" -EventViewer has "Unmarshalling Policy check" error

When Testing the Exchange Connector 3.1 during Create Connector, it gives the following Error when Testing the Connection:
"The connection to the server was unsuccessful. Please check the server name and/or credentials entered.
Additional Information: Unable to validate credentials, please refer the the event logs for more information (Err Type: AutoDiscoverRemoteException, Message=The Autodiscover service returned an error.)"
Event Viewer shows the following each time I Try:
Event 10031 COMRunTime
An unmarshaling policy check was performed when unmarshaling a custom marshaled object and the class {45FB4600-E6E8-4928-B25E-50476FF79425} was rejected.
Other Info:
Service Manager Workflow Account is a Local Admin
Service Manager Worfklow Account is a Service Manager Full Admin
Email Account is Create in Exchange 2010 Sp1
Service Manager 2012 R2 +CU5 +CU% Hotfix are installed. (Same error when running +CU4 though.
UAC is Turned Off.
Exchange Web Services Managed API Client DLL (x64) (Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll is installed and copied into Service Manager Directory.)
Both Microsoft.SystemCenter.ExchangeConnector.dll and Microsoft.SystemCenter.ExchangeConnector.resources.dll are copied into Service Manager Directory.
Exchange connector MP has been imported.

Partly resolved...
What I did to resolve this was to go into ADSIEdit.msc and go to the path of AdminImpersonateAll.In ADSI Edit, open 'Configuration'. Inside Configuration go to Services->Microsoft Exchange->then CN=YourOrgName->RBAC->Role Assignments-> and
Deleted the CN=AdminImpersonateAll.
Then I re-ran the Powershell script on the Exchange Server:
New-ManagementRoleAssignment -Name:AdminImpersonateAll
-Role:ApplicationImpersonation -User SCSMWorkflow<o:p></o:p>
After doing this, the Connector for Exchange 3.1 worked.
BUT...the event error is still occurring and it repeats?

BI SAP Query Connector test fails!

BI SAP Query Connector test is failing in Portal 7.0 SP6
Scuccessfully tested BI SAP Query connector using the

But when i try to test from the portal its failing

it seems like you already have your BI SAP Query system working properly, if you can use it in the BI Integration Wizard. what's the problem you're seeing in VC?
systems created with the BI SAP Query Connector are relational systems and therefore expose tables and fields in VC. via the BI Connector, these systems are 'lent' BI functionality and you can use these tables in the BI Integration Wizard, as you've seen. you might therefore call these "relational BI systems" (just like systems created with the BI JDBC Connector are).
if you have consulted the System Landscape documentation on configuring properties for a BI SAP Query System (<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/4b/9afe3323d14005a283dee9101c66fc/frameset.htm">here</a>) and you're still having problems connecting with the BI SAP Query Connector, i'd suggest you write up a CSS message.

I am using LANDESK 9.5 SP1 to provision our new X1 Carbon 2014 (20A7) with LAN connector. It failed to recognize the ethernet and I am stuck with 127.0.0.1 I am suspecting NIC driver issue and had downloaded the SCCM driver pack for this model to be used in the deployment. Got the errors.
1) DB_STATUS.. error was coming since the lookup I gave there was not actually created in the database due to a refresh I did while creating it effectively deleting all the entered data.
2) The error in logs was coming due to wrong input of the GTC database provider during the creation of IT Resource.

T500 LAN failed

Hi,
I just got my new T500, but I have difficulties to connect to the internet via LAN (stated limited or no connectivity). I called Comcast to make sure nothing wrong with the IP address, and they said seems fine. I even tried to renew the IP via cmd, but failed too. But weird thing happened, sometime I restart the laptop again after IP renew failed, it will come back normal with connection.
So, any suggestion what should I do? Should I use ThinkVantage to roll back the OS, Im using XP SP3.

Thanks for your suggestions, but I just finally found the solution.
In its obviousness I barely dare to admit it, but the wrongdoer was the ethernet hub I had to use due to the fact that our LAN is still BNC based and I have no adapter card for my notebook. In my favour there is to say that at the beginning I suspected it, too, but then ruled it out, because
a) my office pc worked fine with it, when tested (although a rather short test at the beginning), and
b) I connected my notebook to my collegue's hub, who uses it for over a year (but with her pc), and still had the drop-reconnecting-problem.
Therefore I assumed a problem with my notebook. But apparently
a) our office pc's seem to be more tolerant towards connection quality than my notebook. Because when I connected both my pc and my notebook to my hub and this time worked with them the whole day, letting them downloading large amounts of data (>1GB), the pc indeed got "network cable disconnected" messages, but only twice or thrice, while the notebook repeatedly has its dropouts. And
b) my collegue's hub seems to have the same problem as mine, because today I got the opportunity to connect my notebook to two other, different hubs here at work, and voila, stable connection.
So the good news is, that probably nothing's wrong with my network card, the bad news, that I either have to get a new hub (not the easiest thing for BNC and probably not worth considering the short remaining time here) or I have to live with the annoying dropouts.
Sorry for setting you on the wrong path with the network card, but nonetheless thanks for your support.

PIOS driver and connector not properly deployed

Hi all
I am facing problem in deploying the driver and connector to activate the barcode scanner in the SYMBOL pocket PC. The following are the drivers.
piscsym9090_wm50_xsl_crm_1_1_8
connector_wm50_xsl_crm_1_1_7
It gets deployed and I am able to see the corresponding folders in the MI\add-on, but the required files from the driver folders are not copied to the PIOS folders, as mentioned in the post-install.txt.
I am just adding the above sda files (driver & connector) as a component to my device (NetweaverAdministrator) and I sync it.
Am I missing something while deploying?.. Please advice
