Consolidate Multiple Digitial Signatures into one Document

I have one document that I am sending out to multiple people at the same time. I need these people to digitally sign this document concurrently. Once they sign the document, it is sent back to me. Which causes me to have multiple copies of the same document, but with different signatures. I need to then consolidate these multiple documents into one document with all of the signatures. I've been attempting to do this with distributing the document and then merging the document but it is not working. Can someone please help?

Hi,
Acrobat does not support parallel signing where multiple people can concurrently sign one document. A document can only be signed sequentially where one person signs it and then sends it to the next person for signing.  If you have one document that requires multiple signatures and you need all of the signatures on one page, then you have to work with just one copy. However, working with multiple copies of the document like you are doing now, you could consolidate each signed copy into a Portfolio. If for example you needed 10 signatures your Portfolio file would end up containing 10 individually signed copies of the same PDF file.
The bottom line is you cannot merge the signed files into a single pdf.
I hope this helps,
Steve

    Hi pharmovative,
You can use the Combine PDF feature of Adobe PDF pack to combine multiple PDF files into one document. (Or, if you have the full version of Acrobat, you an do it there as well by choosing Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF.)
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

  • How do I consolidate multiple PDF pages into one iBook file ?

I have a big test coming up, and I have 600 practice questions saves as PDF's on my iMac.  I tried downloading them through iTunes on my iPad, but it looks like they downloaded as 600 individual iBook files.  Needless to say, it will waste a lot of time opening up and closing each page.
Is there a way to "consolidate" all 600 of these PDF files, so that they appear as one single iBook file?  I would really like to study by turning the page, instead of being forced to close each file and open a new one 600 times.
    Thanks!

Good to know -- there is no file format "Adobe Acrobat Reader" and there is no application "Adobe Acrobat Reader".
The file format PDF is what Acrobat can create and manipulate.
(Acrobat is a "for pay" desktop application.)
Adobe Reader ( a free to download, install and use application) can open and let one view PDF files.
To combine PDF files you would use Acrobat.
An alternative would be to subscribe to Adobe's online subscription service "PDF Pack".
    Be well...

  • Hello Apple community... I am trying to combine multiple pdf's into one, using preview, but when I drag the additional pages they show up as separate documents.

I am trying to combine multiple pdf's into one, using preview, but when I drag the additional pages they show up as separate documents.  When I drag the doc in a line would show up in the past, and if I went above th eline all was good.  It doesn't have a line, and no matter what I try I am having no success.
    Please help!

According to an Apple Support article, unless there are unforeseen issues
in file ownership or permissions, the combining of .PDFs should be simple.

    Hi dagda24,
You can scan multiple pages into a single document with the scan to PDF option.  Use the following steps to do so:
    1.  Open MP Navigator.
    2.  Click One Clcik.
    3.  Click Save to PC.
    4.  Change the File Type from PDF to PDF (multiple pages).
    5.  Make any other changes as needed, then click scan.

  • Concatenate multiple pdf files into one single postscript file

    Hi,
Could anyone help me with a code to "Concatenate Multiple pdf files into one single postscript file" ?
    Thanks for the help

Thanks for your reply! Actually the main purpose is to allow user to select multiple pdf documents on a single web page and then he should be able to print all of them at once by hitting the print button on the web page instead of selecting each document seperately to print it. Also he should be able to see all the printing services available to print those documents.
    Thanks,

  • How do I import multiple Ai files into one Indesign File - whilst still keeping the Ai Files editable and up dateable for the one Indesign File?

    Hi All,
Im relatively new to Ai and Indesign, and have been doing Uni work over Christmas, and have a rather urgent question thats stressing me out.
I originally had many art boards in my ai file, but due to the number, I split these into single files to help my computer run better.
Now I want to organise them into one document to save. From searching online Indesign can import these and save as one file, yet automatically update if the original ai file is updated. I would like to do this but just don't know how to do this correctly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im using CC Ai and indesign.
    Thanks in advance
    Sam

Yes, effectively I would like to catalogue the files into one collection so i can save as one PDF and Print as one.:)
I know I could save each AI as a pdf them then merge the pdf's together in acrobat, but I have nearly 100 files so would feel more comfortable seeing them all together before print / saving.
My concern is that if I insert them in Ai, will the file resolution reduce? and will the ai still be editable and would it update the indesign file?
    Thanks for the quick reply

  • Multiple users logged into one server, each users printer has a different name, application needs ONE name to print to.

Multiple users logged into one server, each users printer has a different name, application needs ONE name to print to.
I'm NOT in any way a Terminal Services expert and I need help trying to get an application program working in a multi-user environment.
The issue is that the printer changes for every user that is logged in. The application needs to print NOT to the default printer, but to a "special" printer which is selected in the application... let's call it a label printer to simplify the explanation.
You have your default regular printer, easy for the application to find that one, and then you have a special printer that labels get printed onto. The application needs to know what printer is the label printer. So we allow the user to select that in the
application and the selection is stored in a config file in
    C:\ProgramData\mfgr\prog\setting files
I don't have access to the application so I can't change how this works.
In the "regular" world, selecting the label printer driver to use should be per machine, NOT per user. When a new user logs into a machine, the physical printer doesn't go "poof" and a new printer suddenly appear. Same printer for all
    users.
Yet in terminal services, the physical machine is "merged" with the virtual machine on the server. And there can be many users logged in at the same time. So each users real machine (and real printer) is injected into the "fake" terminal
services machine. The name of the printers is made unique for each user. So the printers DO go "poof" and change names depending on the user logged into terminal services.
So user "A" logs in and sets up the application to print to "LabelPrinterForUserA" (or whatever the name of the printer happens to be), that setting is stored in the ProgramData subfolder, and all is well. Later, user "B" logs
in, and when they print, the application tries to print to "LabelPrinterForUserA" which doesn't exist for user B or is only accessible by user A. If user B re-configures, that breaks it for user A.
SOLUTION 1: The way that /should/ work (in my mind) is that you define one "generic" printer in Terminal Services... call it "Virtual Label printer" and when the user wants to print to it, the print job gets re-directed back to whatever
physical printer is actually connected to their local workstation. There is a map of virtual printer to actual printer depending on the current user. The application is told once to print to "Virtual Label Printer" for all users.
SOLUTION 2: Or... there should be some way to make the ProgramData sub folders separate per user. E.g. when user "A" tries to access:
    C:\ProgramData\mfgr\prog\setting files
    they actually get
    C:\UserData\UserA\AppData\mfgr\prog\setting files
    and user "B" gets
    C:\UserData\UserB\AppData\mfgr\prog\setting files
So the question I have is: Does either of those solutions exist hidden somewhere in the setup of terminal server? Or is there another way around this issue that I don't know?

I don't really have a "for sure" answer to this, but because people here can't seem to deal with a question that hasn't been answered I'll provide the best answer I did receive from ServerFault.com user Nathan:
I can feel your pain with using old software on terminal servers ...the solution I've come up with definitely won't scale as it requires some manual configuration, but I've gotten this method to work with our label printers (which require to be
printed to an LPT port...yep, that old).
Share your USB-connected printers to the network on each machine. Then, have the user log in on aunique session for each of them
(a TS account cannot be shared among computers for this to work) and install a network printer pointing to the USB one they shared. Try to use a DNS name to account for possible DHCP movements.
After, it should work. Each user can do this since display names can be identical as long as the ports are different (which they are).
This was clarified by the following series of comments:
I think you are on to something here, and I originally advised the admin to do this. The problem he ran into is that it setup the printer names in the TS as "printer on usersworkstation"
and he could not rename it except to change the "printer" to whatever. E.g. the "on userworkstation" remained. I believe there is another way of installing the printer which avoids this, but I can't find it. Ages ago, one used to do NET
USE LPT2 \\computer\printer password /USER:domain\user /PERSISTENT:YES and then tell the driver to print to LPT2 –  James

@JamesNewton That's actually the exact method we used. The way around the "network printer" part is to install it as local printer and map it to a TCP/IP port that way. –  Nathan

You mean in the case where the printers are TCP/IP connected and not local USB / LPT to the users workstation? That makes sense. Wonder if this will work for USB connected printers... –  James

@JamesNewton You'd share the local printer on the client's PC then on the server connect via TCP/IP to it. You'd need static addresses or use DNS names if DHCP, though. –  Nathan

Ah. Yes. I see. Looks like the LPT thing should work even with a USB connected printer:superuser.com/questions/182655/… –  James

  • Best approach to join multiple statistics tables into one

I have read different approaches to join multiple statistics tables into one, they all have a column "productobjectid".
I want to get all data for each product and put it to excel and output a jpg statistic with cfchart.
How would you do this, the sql part?
    Thanks.

    A couple suggestions:
    1) when joining tables, its best to list both table/fields that you are joining in the FROM clause:
    FROM shopproductbehaviour_views INNER JOIN shopproductbehaviour_sails ON shopproductbehaviour_views.productobjectid = shopproductbehaviour_sails.productobjectid
    2) You add tables to a SQL join by placing another join statement after the SQL above:
    SELECT *
FROM TableA INNER JOIN TableB on TableA.myField = TableB.myField
    INNER JOIN TableC on TableA.anotherField = TableC.anotherField
    3) If you have columns in the tables that are named the same, you can use column aliases to change the way they appear in your record set:
    SELECT TableA.datetimecreated 'tablea_create_date', TableB.datetimecreated 'tableb_create_date'
    4) Certainly not a requirement, but you might want to look into using <cfqueryparam> in your where clause:
    WHERE shopproductbehaviour_sails.productobjectid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" value="#all.productobjectid#">
You might want to consider checking out one of the many tutorials on SQL available online.  Many of the questions you posed in your post are covered in pretty much every basic SQL tutorial.  Alternately, a good SQL book is worth its weight in gold for a beginning web applications developer.
