  • Contents Table in InDesign

    Hi All,
I am creating a auto contents table in indesign, I have got it so it gives me the list I want, the problem is styling it, the problem I am having is I can't get the titles in the contents to change there style automatically, at the moment they are the same style that are in the magazine, so my contents is all in a large font size which Isn't good.
    Any ideas?

    >just got to work out how to get the numbers aligned on the right now...
Set a right-aligned tab as part of the TOC paragraph style. If you are likely to change the column width, you can use Find/Change to change the right-aligned tab to a right indent tab when you're done, and the numbers will move with the width of the frame.

  • Disassemble PDF based on Content Table

Suppose a PDF file has a table of contents. Is it possible to split this PDF file into multiple small PDF files that only contains one chapter?
    Thanks,
    P

What I try to do is find a prgrmaming way to slip a PDF file into multiple PDF files that contains only one chapter each based on Table of Contents info in PDF file. The bookmark may not contains Table of Content information. For exmaple, some PDF file do not have bookmark but they do have table of contents. How to deal with it in a programming way?
    Thanks.

  • How to export an entire model content (tables and charts) to pdf

    Hello,
I would like to export a complete model, which includes tables and charts, to pdf.
I am already familiar with [this|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/47fe4fef-0d01-0010-6f87-ed8ecb479123] tutorial but it explains how to do it for a single table and doesn't deal with charts. What I would like to do is take like a screenshot of the entire iView/model content to pdf.

    Hi, rbish-
Not for the entire stage.  The only thing you could do is to highlight everything and convert it to a symbol, then ensure that you move your triggers and labels to the new symbol.  Then you could export an individual symbol, which will also package all of the dependent symbols.
    Hope that helps,

  • How to retrive data from SAP Archive (from Cluster or Content Table)

    Hi,
I am working on HR -ABAP where i have a scenario to retive employee photo and disaplay as output in smartforms. And these employee photo are stored in Cluster table SDOKCONT1 in SAP Archive Link (storage type - SAP System Database).
Anybody can tell me the way how to retrive data ( employee Photo ) from this cluster and display its output in smartform dynamically.
    Regards,
    Sourabh Shrivastava

    Hello Sourabh,
If I am not wrong, there are two parts two your query...
    a) Data or Content Retrieval
    b) Displaying Retrieved content
    Here is my feedback
    a) The Content can be Retrieved using the FM ARCHIV_GET_TABLE.
Pass the Archive Object, SAP Object and the SAP Object ID and based on the Connection table entries (TOA*), the underlying Content Repository (T-code OAC0) is determined and a request for synchronous retrieval is made to the Content Server.
    b) Display of Retrieved content is normally done through dedicated viewers (Ex: Livelink Viewer) or front-end applications (Excel, Word) based on the Protocol (OAA3/OAA4) specified in the Content Reository Configuration. Hence, to my knowledge, you cannot display the content directly in the Smartform.

    Hi,
Can I use RIDC API to query WebCenter Content 11g Tables/Views, if so, How can I achieve this?
    Regards,

    Yes, you can.
Call one of the Schema services (such as GET_SCHEMA_VIEW_VALUES) and you will get back a ResultSet which you can iterate over.

  • CCMS for Table monitoring not using Message Class

We are currently using a Table content monitor in CCMS to raise alerts for an ABAP monitoring program we have written. The program inserts records in a custom ABAP table and when a row is inserted with a certain value we raise an alert through CCMS.
The data collection method is using the "Red" function module SCSM_GEN_TAB_DS_R
The alerts are generating fine but the alert text is displaying <CCMS: no default text available>. We have configure a message class and number but it is not displaying this in alert. Does anyone know what could be the problem?
Here is the parameter settings for the data collection method
    1. TARGET_TABLE           ZTSPM_CH_STATUS
    2. FIELDNAME              CHANNELKEY
    3. FIELDVALUE             CCSTATUS
    4. MAXROW                 50
    5. WHERECLAUSE1           CCSTATUS = 'FAIL'
    6. WHERECLAUSE2
    7. WHERECLAUSE3
    8. TOP_FULL_NAME
    9. RESCANFROMBEGIN        REPORTTIMESTAMP
    10. T100_MESS              ZXI_CNB 023
    The message class/number (ZXI_CNB 023) is
"Connectivity Heartbeat failed for &1, Status: &2"
I was expexting the values from the table for fieldname (CHANNELKEY) and Fieldvalue (CCSTATUS) to be replaced in the message string.

    Hey Mark!
I had a question about this topic. I had the problem, that method doesn't work. The following parameters have been set:
    1. TARGET_TABLE           ZMON_ERROR
    2. FIELDNAME              EF
    3. FIELDVALUE             EV
    4. MAXROW                 50
    5. WHERECLAUSE1           EV='AU01'
    6. WHERECLAUSE2
    7. WHERECLAUSE3
    8. TOP_FULL_NAME
    9. RESCANFROMBEGIN
    10. T100_MESS
Rescanfrombegin and Messageclass have not been set, because I read, that there are many problems.
In Technical Export Monitors under DataSupplier theres an alert:
Internal Error in method SCSM_GEN_TAB_DS_R, Error: SELECT, SY-SUBRC = 0.
I think the problem is the WHERECLAUSE, but it doesn't matter if I change everything. Do you know any solutions, maybe?

  • Table of Contents retains hyperlinks but Table of Figures/Tables does not

I am beyond frustrated with this strange problem. I am converting a thesis from word to PDF, and I need to retain all bookmarks and hyperlinks in my Table of Contents, Table of Figures, and Table of Tables.
When I convert over (with all accesibility options selected, as well as bookmarking options), I am able to get my bookmarks to convert over AND hyperlinks for the table of contents.
However, no matter what I do, the hyperlinks in the Table of Figures/tables will not move over. What is different about those? What can I do to get them to link? It is a very long document, so doing the hyperlinks by hand would be incredibly tedious.
    Any advice/help?
    I'm using Acrobat Pro.

You will need to script the Word object.  Look in the repository for examples of using Word from PowerShell.
    Here too:http://blogs.technet.com/b/heyscriptingguy/archive/2010/06/24/hey-scripting-guy-how-can-i-use-windows-powershell-to-add-hyperlinks-to-a-word-document.aspx
You will need to become proficient in PowerShell as well as learning the MSWord object model.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
