Context change not working

hi,
i am doing a maping between an xsd and message type with structure which has:
1.nested structure
2.source field occurs more than once in thses netsed structure.
fields not having multiple occurence have the same value as in source but the one having mulitple occurence are having different fields.
my context handling not working.
i m using splitByValue and changing the context of source field to its immediate header which is again not working.
can anyone help in this regards

when i try to check the context at parentNode1,2,3 its occurences gets affected.
like if supoose parent node1 is suppose to occur3 times along with its items i.e parentNode2, parentNode3; it occurs 3 times but in the 2nd and 3rd occurences there are no items in it.
rest the child nodes are mapped wth context chnge to its immediate header using splitVal.

Policies assigned to groups - membership changes not working

I have a single ZESM IR8 server setup.
All security throughout my environment, ZESM and otherwise, is based on group membership.
If I change a user from one group to another group this change does not reflect in their policy assignment.
Scenario: GroupA = standard user policy, GroupB = power user policy.
UserA was first in Group A and therefore got the standard user policy.
UserA now requires the power user policy.
Remove UserA from GroupA and add UserA to GroupB (in iManager).
UserA does NOT get the "power user" policy that is assigned to GroupB
Am aware that I can assign the policy at a user level but this is NOT an option in my environment. All security assignments MUST happen at a group level.

What you observed is the expected behavior.
ZESM doesn't updates group membership in real time once a policy has been published. I've described this behavior on previous posts.
What the MC does behind the scenes when you click "Publish" on a container or group object is to assign the policy individually to each member/user. For groups, it resolves membership at the time the policy is published then the MC iterates among each member assigning the policy to each of them. That's why you don't see updates once the policy is published.
Try Updating the published policy to see if that works. From the docs:
Updating a Published Policy
Once a policy has been published to the user(s) or computer(s), simple updates can be maintained by editing the components in a policy, and re-publishing. For example, if the ZENworks Endpoint Security Management Administrator needs to change the WEP key for an access point, the adminstrator only needs to edit the key, save the policy, and click Publish. The affected end-users and computers receive the updated policy (and the new key) at their next check-in.

ICE edit, in context editor not working?

I can't seem to activate the in context editor for the site newmovers.businesscatalyst.com. The 'Edit' button is there, and when I click it the link changes to /icecube but nothing else happens. I contacted BC's support team and was told "I suspect the reason why the edit button is not working is, you have custom code placed on the pages."
It works on my other sites, just not here.
Has anyone else had an issue like this? I wasn't aware everyone else was using non-custom code for their sites! Is it possible that I have some Javascript or other code that is disrupting?
Any help greatly appreciated!

After some back & forth, the BC support team was right that it was my code which was breaking the ICE:
I had two div's with the same id on my home page. Not sure why that broke the in context editor, but maybe this will help someone else out down the road.

Color Context does not work properly

Hi,
I'm using MII 12.1
ColorContext does not work properly with Lights and Multilights. I did not test other grids.
For every match it shows black colored lights.
Is there a way to solve this problem?

There was a bug in the early versions of 12.1 for color contexting. Color context changes were made in the display template were not being saved. I would strongly urge you to upgrade to SP5 patch 1. However, if you want a very crude way to test if your contexting is working the way you want it to:
1. Export your display template
2. Find the color context section of the xml and change the settings to the desired color coding
3. Import your modified display template
4. Test
I do not recommend this as a short term or long term solution. It is a hack and should be recognized as such. But it will allow to test your configured display template's behavior.

SAP Netweaver 2004 [and] I.E 7 CONTEXT Menu not working??

Installed: SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SPS 15
For some reason when I use Internet Explorer7 browsing the SAP Netweaver Portal. At the Content Administration>>RightClick on <Portal Content> is not working?
Like I mean, I am unable to open up the tiny context menu where you get the options: [New, Open, Refresh, Change ID]
But, when I use Firefox 3 everything is working fine. I can see the context menu opening up, but not in the case of I.E 7.
I got the latest Java SDK installed: j2sdk1.4.2.18
Please note: I previously had j2sdk1.4.2.09 which didnt fix the above issue. So, I thought upgrading the Java SDK would fix my issue.. but, it did not.
My O.S: Windows XP SP2.
Any of you had this issue in the past ? Found solution?
Can you please let me know?

The problem is not with the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SPS 15 but with the browser Internet Explorer7. We have also faced this problem then we installed IE 6. And it started giving the context menu.

Transfer Order auto create for Posting Change not working

Hello Gurus -
When we release an inspection lot from "Q" status, it creates a posting change notice, and we have it configured to create a TO in the background to the same bin, and auto confirm. The desired and intended result is to take something from "Q" status to unrestricted status, while keeping it in the same bin - and avoiding the user having to deal with the transfer orders. Essentially it is seamless and all in the background, the user just sees that he has changed something from quality status to unrestricted.
It works fine when the entire quantity is selected for the usage decision, but when a partial usage decision is made, the transfer order does not create - and requires processing in LU04 for the posting change.
Why would this work for an entire qty, but not work for a partial qty - and simply require someone to go in to LU04 and hit "create transfer order" - with no additional information?
Any help would be most appreciated. Does it have something to do with a setting of quants?

In case of a usage decision for a partial quantity, it is not possible to create the Transfer Order for the generated posting change notice automatically. This is only possible when the full quantity is released. The same happens if you release a partial quantity and post the rest to blocked stock or scrap. The reason is, there needs to be a user decision, which part of the quantity has to be posted, this is necessary for example when the quantity is distributed in the warehouse over many storage bins. But even if the full quantity is on one storage bin, there is no automatic TO creation. You can see this also in the online
processing (LT05), in case of partial quantities you have to enter the selected quantity in the quant list, for a full posting this is not necessary.

I can’t seem to get context sensitivity to work. I have
a master project: OG and two slave projects: rbc and MAINT. I used
the TOC tab in the OG project to merge the rbc and MAINT chms. The
merged TOC and index appear to be working OK.
Next I edited the OG BSSCDefault.h file so it looks like

In your redirect.xhtml file, be sure to use forward slashes
rather than backslashes in the paths to the slave topics. For
example, these are right:

BEx formula change not working in existing Analysis for Olap/Analysis for Excel reports

Hello all,
I posted this in Analysis for OLAP, but there has been no response so I'm hoping perhaps you BEx experts can help me.
I had to modify a formula in a Bex query to have it calculate the results of the formula by summation.
I checked the query using BEx Analyzer and it summed correctly. If I create a new analysis for olap report, it sums correctly.
If I modify an existing report, it does not pick up the change. Existing Analysis for Excel reports also do not pick up the new summary calculation.
Using the CMC, I edited the connection and reselected the Bex query, but that did not work either.
Here it is working in the query:
Line Discount is a formula with logic checking to see if "product list price total amount" is 0, set the line discount to 0; otherwise calculate it as "product list price total amount" - Net Sale. So the total needs to sum of the line discounts (0+2820+2820 = 5640) and not be the Overall result "product list price total amount" - Overall Result "net sale" (13960-96720= -82760).

I also tried to unselect Line Discount as a key figure from the existing report and reselect it, but that did not work.
I'd like to find a solution so that all the reports that use this query won't have to be rewritten.

Apply Exception aggregation on line discount formula--Exception aggregation as Total---Reference characteristic as Promega product.
Make sure to refresh the webi report once after the changes has been done.
If this does not work then you can apply summation calculation for that column at webi level as well.

Scripting Context - Does not work as invocable?

I am using the Java Scripting implementation, in my case Rhino, and actually I am very happy with it. Nearly everything runs as expected. But there is one thing regarding Context per Script, actually bindings because of variables per script.
I had a look at http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/scripting/programmer_guide/index.html#scopes and if I do it like that everything works fine. Now, I have a script with several functions and I want to invoke specific functions. Again I take that example and extend it to something like:
engine.eval("function printSomething() {println(x);}", newContext);
In my "small world^^'" this should do the same, but I have to invoke printSomething:

inv.invokeFunction("printSomething");
If I do so, I get a
java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: no such method: printSomething
What am I getting wrong? I want to do the same as in the example, provide another Script with another Context (specifically Bindings), but as soon as I invoke the function, it says the function is not available even if it is very much visible.
If I remove the
newContext
from
eval()
it works, but does not have the other Binding.
How can I make that happen?
I hope this is the right forum and someone can "light me up" where I just see darkness right now.

Your script needs something from the default context.
When you create a new context it will not work anymore.
Just get hold of the original context (or a copy of it) and add your bindings
and pass that.

Why hyperlink color change not working with Safari?

With several sites I visit when I click on their text link lists I see a colored symbol change to let remind me I visited that site. Unfortunately this only works when I use Firefox or IE, not Safari. Is there a reason this does not work with Safari? Is there anything I can do? thanks.

YouTube content requires Flash.
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Now try a video. If you still have problems, try troubleshooting Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

ConText Cartridge not working correctly

im using Context to search a substring within a String . the String is column of type varchar2(5000). these Strings don't have any space between characters. Each string is some thing of type -- AVJHGFUEWBFJSGISGFJSDCJSHCLIHCNCCHDYWDJDHEUGFUEHUHGDSUNCDSHCUSHSNCKSHIFINCKCISCHCN...
if i want to search say a substring HCN , the hitlist should contain all the strings which have this substring. but the hitlist returned by the ConText is not correct. it returns only those strings which have this substring in first 32 characters.
i have checked the index created by ConText, for each string it has stored first 32 characters in the WORDLIST. im using Oracle Enterprise 8.03 on NT.

Context is really designed for word searching in a document and therefore you need to have a 'definition' of a word which you do not have. I suspect that there may be a limit of 32chs at the relaese you are working on. The Inter Media table (inter media is Context's successor at 8.1) which contains tokens only defines the length as 64 bytes and I cannot see any documented way of exceeding this.
Could you not just use an ordinary index?

Context IDs not working

I am working in RoboHelp 10, my .html files are generating using the WebHelp target. My source files are in FrameMaker, which are linked to RoboHelp. I set up context IDs in RoboHelp.
Suddenly, the context IDs aren't working in outputs at all. I've rebuilt the RoboHelp linking and re-setup the context IDs.
Any ideas on what happened? Thanks.

Are the map files selected in your SSL settings? That is the most common cause for CSH not working. When all the ID's are linked to topics, the problem is probably not found in the linking to FM.

Cursor 'mouseover' state change not working in Chrome

Flash novice here.
I'd appreciate any tips on where to start looking for answers to this problem.
Here's the basic details:
1. 40kb banners with no audio and nothing tricky
2. Created in Flash Pro CC 2014
3. Opened and re-saved in Flash CS6 for delivery to client website
4. Client IT reports that everything is fine and banners are up and running
5. For me personally, the mouseover state for the cursor works in Safari, but not in Chrome.
6. While the mouseover cursor state for my banner is not working in Chrome, it is working for all the other banners/ads on that page.
7. A friend tested the banner on all major browsers and the mouseover cursor state works for him.
Any ideas where to look would be appreciated.
Should I be talking to the host website, examining the Flash file, or checking my version of Chrome?
