Contion Type Line Items:EK01

Dear SAP Guru's,
What is the Use of Condition type line items in the TC: VoV8
Sales document : In the billing Tab
.In the Condition type in V/06 there is no access sequence defined for the same.
Is it same as the condition type VPRS .
Assuring for good Points reward,

You can carry out costing for a sales document item (item in an inquiry, quotation or an order) to find out the planned costs for this item. This is called sales order costing.
Sales order costing can be carried out using the following methods:
Product costing
Product costing calculates the cost of the sales order item on the basis of the sales order
BOM. A sales order BOM could be part of a super BOM and the configuration object
dependencies.
Unit costing
Unit costing is used if the system cannot access a sales order BOM. You enter the items to
be costed manually in unit costing.
The system determines the prices of the materials and services involved according to the
valuation variants saved in the costing variant. You can use sales order costing to determine the manufacturing costs and total production costs of a material managed as sales stock. As well as the direct material costs and the direct costs of production, you can also determine material overhead costs, production overhead costs, distribution and administration costs or transportation and insurance costs.
Sales order costing is controlled mainly via the costing variant. The costing variant is stored in the requirements class as a proposal value. In the requirements class, you also store the costing method and the costing sheet.
Copying Sales Order Costing to the SD Conditions
You can copy the results of sales order costing to the SD conditions. Copying can be carried out:as a basis for pricing
If you want to use sales order costing as a basis for pricing in SD, you can use the
standard SAP condition type EK01.
at a statistical level
You can copy sales order costing at a statistical level, if you do not wish to determine the price on the basis of this costing, but you wish to use the costs determined to calculate the profit margin in SD.
EK02 is the condition type provided for this in the standard system. You can save the condition type in the sales and distribution document type. If you want to define the condition type with reference to the sales document item, then you can also save the condition type in the requirements class.
In the requirements class, you can also store a condition type for the transfer of the fixed costs
proportion of the planned costs. EK03 is the  condition provided for this in the standard system.
In Pricing, you may want to compare the prices with costs or even implement contribution margin
accounting.
To do this, you can use the condition type VPRS as the cost price.
The condition type VPRS goes into the valuation segment in the material master and determines
from this the standard price or average price.
The condition type VPRS is labeled as a statistical condition in the pricing procedure.  Using the condition category G, the condition type VPRS goes into the valuation segment of the material master and determines from here the standard or average price.
The condition category S always accesses the standard price whereas condition
category T always accesses the average price.
The profit margin is determined using the calculation formula 11 assigned in the pricing
procedure. In this calculation formula the cost price is subtracted from the subtotal of net
value 2.

    Thx. Good day!
    Prashant

    dear prashant,
EK01 and EK02 have been provided for cost transfer of line items.
EK01:     If we choose it the result of the sales order costing (integration with controlling) is first printed to the pricing screen for the item. The value can be used as basis for price calculation.
EK02:     System simply takes the result of the sales order costing as a statistical value (only for information purpose).

  • KR doc type posted without vendor line item a mandatory item category

    Hello Gurus,
We have SPL document splitter activated in our ECC system. We have the business transaction variant 0300 / Z001 assigned to doc type KR. The vendor line is obligatory in the above business transaction variant (BTV). THe splitting rule is also assigned for this BTV.
THe problem is that despite having the vendor as obligatory for this BTV, we are able to post the doc type KR (vendor invoice) without the vendor line item e.g.. doc with doc type KR and debit and credit to expense a/c.
Please share your experience if anyone has come across this issue,
    Prakash

    Hi,
To make the vendor line mandatory for KR document type, you can write the validation as below:-
    Step 1:-
Create a message ID via transaction code SE91 for message class /EACC/MSG/ACC_COMP as you want to display to user.
    Step 2:-
Go to transaction GGB0 and create the validation step at complete document level in Financial Accounting as below:-
    Pre Requisits:-
    BKPF-BLART = 'KR'.
    Check:-
Create a exit code using user exit and check that line items have at least one vendor line item.
For this take the help of ABAPer and create a copy of the program RGGBR000 and code your check here and assign to the application area GBLR in view V_T80D via transaction code SM30.
    Message:-
Message created in step 1 as error message.
    Step 3:-
Please also check that this validation has active status (Status=1) at line complete document level (level 3) for your company code in transaction OB28.

  • Error M8-688 - Creation of several vendor line items is not possible for document type RN.

    Hello All,
We are using the Net Invoice Posting with document type RN(Invoice- Net). We are generating different vendor line items in the accounting document based on the withholding tax codes involved in the invoice posting. When it comes to net invoice posting system is giving an error message M8-688 - Creation of vendor line items is not possible for document type RN. Is there is any way to create multiple vendor items with net invoice posting? Please suggest.

I dont think that there is any way because it is a hardcoded error message.

  • FB05 - trans to be processed and first line item PK for doc type

    Hi all,
Me quite confused of the entry for the following document type in FB05
    DG - cust credit memo
    DR - cust invoice
    SA- gl acc doc
    SB - gl acc posting
    KG - vdr credit memo
    DZ - customer payment
Need the help to let me know for document type above, what radio button to choose in transaction to be processed and also what posting key use at first line item.
Also if i choose the wrong transaction to be processed radio button, any impact?
    thanks
    rgds

Document type is primarily used to distinguish different various types of transactions. Ultimately, there are only two effects in accouting - debit and credit. Thus, doc type helps distinguish btw various types of accounting entries. It also controls certain field status while document posting and also drives the number range for the accounting document.
Posting keys determine whether a transaction will be a credit or a debit. They also have an influence over the field status of the document entry screen. Posting keys are broadly divided into those belonging to
    Customer                             - Acct type C
    Vendors                               - Acct type V
    GL                                       - Acct type G
Fixed Assets                        - Acct type A and
Material Mgmt. transactions   - Acct type M
For each account type there are both debit and credit posting keys. You can clik on F4 on the posting key field and see the various entries. You will understand.
Thus, which posting key to enter depends on the transaction you want to enter.

  • Delete a line item from Sales Doc type RE

Unable to delete a line item from a sales order linked to document type RE.  Get a long runtime - no specific error message.  Use the 'Stop Transaction' option to end the transaction.
Have done thorough testing and can delete line items linked to all other sales document types in our system.
Researched SPRO to see if there was a line item deletion option that was not created for sales doc type RE - but can find nothing.
On a critical time line here - this was discovered during Hotpak installation testing which is scheduled to move to PRD June 22.  Question as to why we have not run across this issue before now??  - I don't think we have had an occasion to delete a returns line item before - but I want to have the option if available.
Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Patsy

    Thanks for your response.
After creating document type RE, execute VA02 transaction, select line item, select delete line item icon.  The system goes into runtime and just stays there.  No error message, no abap dump.  To escape the transaction, I have to select 'stop transaction'.
I have tested all other document types we use in our system,  (including our customized transactions) SO, CR, DR, etc., and the system allows line item deletion.

  • Changing condition type values in Billing Doc Line Items

    Hi All,
I want to change the value of condition types JLST and JCST to zero in the line items of proforma invoices. How can I do this?
Any function module or BAPI? Should I go for BDC?? I tried to find user exits. What can be the optimal way to do this?
    Please help.
    Thanks in Advance
    - Neha.

    Hi Neha,
You pass 0 (zero) to the field COND_VALUE in CONDITIONSIN table alongwith other relevant data.
And pass 'X' to the field COND_VALUE in CONDITIONSINX.
    hope it helps.

  • Relation between movement type and Schedule Line Item Cat

I have a situation for Return Sales Order, there's two lines items with
*Item Cat                      Schedule Line Item Cat         Stock
    REN(Normal)                 YN (Returns 657)                 Blocked
RENN (Free Goods)      DN (Returns)                        Return Stock
Question is, the user would like all the return stock to be posted to Block stock which should be using movement type 657. How can I configure this.

    Hello Sarvanand
Assign Sched Line category YN to item category RENN using this path:
    SPRO/IMG/Sales and Distribution/Sales/Schedule Lines/Assign Schedule Line Categories
Don't change movement type of standard Item cat DN.
    Thanks.

  • Report of condition types per line item in sales order

    Hi all,
Is there any report that can tell me all the price conditions that are allocated to a sales order line item? I am talking about the actual conditions relevant for a line item, not only conditions that have a condition record setup.
So I would like to key in sales order number, the line item and get a report of all conditions that are allocated to that line item in the specific sales order.
If there is no such standard report, does anyone know what tables to link?
    Thanks in advance,
    Lars

    Hi Lars,
In my current customer they had the same requirement and after almost 1 month of analysis we decided to build a custom report to execute this.
And as an enhancement we compare prices from the sales orders and the sap price records in order to check the differences.
First we need to find all the open lines (status and reason for rejection (ABGRU)), than loop KONV and select the  KSCHL (condition types) you want, material text descriptions, etc.....of course a lot more in terms of coding.....;-)
This was the form I used :
    FORM FIND_SO_PRICES.
      LOOP AT IT_ITEM_REPORT.
        REFRESH IT_PRICING.
SELECT KSCHL KBETR WAERS KPEIN KMEIN KUMZA KUMNE
          INTO IT_PRICING
          FROM KONV
         WHERE KNUMV = IT_ITEM_REPORT-KNUMV
           AND KPOSN = IT_ITEM_REPORT-POSNR
           AND KINAK <> 'M'
           AND KINAK <> 'X'.
          APPEND IT_PRICING.
        ENDSELECT.
READ TABLE IT_PRICING WITH KEY KSCHL = 'XXXX'. -> My price condition
        IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
          IT_ITEM_REPORT-ZSP1 = IT_PRICING-KBETR.
          MODIFY IT_ITEM_REPORT.
        ENDIF.
READ TABLE IT_PRICING WITH KEY KSCHL = 'XXXX'. -> My discount condition
        IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
          IT_ITEM_REPORT-ZSD1 = IT_PRICING-KBETR / -10.
          MODIFY IT_ITEM_REPORT.
        ENDIF.
       IT_ITEM_REPORT-LIQ = IT_ITEM_REPORT-ZSP1 - ( IT_ITEM_REPORT-ZSP1 * (
                                              IT_ITEM_REPORT-ZSD1 / 100 ) ).
        MODIFY IT_ITEM_REPORT.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDFORM.                    " FIND_SO_PRICES
Please tell me if this helped you,

  • GL account with line items in line type 'S' document split?

    Hi Experts,
We found in PCP0 there are payroll documents which has GL account with with line items in line type 'S' document split. Unlike other line items with line type 'blank' these line items cannot be opened and display the wage type details. How can we know from which wage type these line items were created?
    Regards,
    Allan

These line items are caused by company transfer and they are cleared by themselves between companies.

  • Statistical cost element (Value type 11) line item entry in CJI3

    Dear all
I am doing WBS settlement to AUC thr CJ88. Suppose actual cost on WBS is 100 rs.
CJI3 report shows the balance to be settled to AUC. Now It is showing 100 rs balance. I carry out WBS settlement to AUC.
Even though settlement has taken place to AUC, CJI3 is showing line item entry of 100 rs (Statistical cost element with value type 11).
This also affects our reporting as in report S_ALR_87013558, because of statistical cost element line item entry, WBS actual cost is showing as (100+100 st'cal)
Also, I read in sap note 666152 that we can define transaction type as not releavent for account assignment. But i dont see this kind of setting anywhere in transaction type.
Can we restrict the statistical cost element to not take part in CJI3 (CO reporting)?  How we can avoid statistical CO postings.
    Pls suggest
    Madhusudan Patil

    Hello,
Statistical postings could be generated, if
    (a) you have 2 co-objects, e.g. cost center and internal order. There is a default rule in the system, that in this case the internal order will be posted real and the cost center statistical
    (b) you have 2 co-objects and one is marked as statistical in the master data. Actual Postings only to statistical co-objects are not possible. You can not settle statistical values, they will stay at the object.
Please check OSS-message 106968. It explains everything in detail.
You can modify your report, that it will show only real postings (value type 04), but I wouldn't do it. For me it sounds that you have to check your value flows in general. They look inconsistent, if you do not expect statistical postings.
    Kind regards
