I have a control(.jcx), I am not able to include this control in an .Java class, i appreciate if any one could help me if i can call any control from an .Java class

WebLogic Workshop provides custom annotations based on Javadoc technology. These javadocs are developed to embed documentation into source code as comments and later extended by WebLogic Workshop through custom annotations that help to define the functionality of a Web application component. So, I believe that you cannot call controls which require workshop specific annotations (which would result in NPEs) from plain java classes.

Pulsatile Linear Actuator Control - Help Needed

Hi,
I have a VI that controls the speed of a linear actuator, which is placed within a case structure. A limit switch input switches
the case structure between forward and reverse. This allows the actuator to move in a continuous motion either forward and
reverse. What I would like to achieve is a pulsatile movement. The linear actuator operates for a set time and completely off
for a set time.
I have tried various approaches with the elapsed time function, alternating wait times but just can't seem to get this, any help
would be greatly appreciated, I have attached the VI.

A few things:
Are you using the Run Continuously button?
If so, stop and put this into a proper loop or state machine.
I don't think the Elapsed Time function is what you're looking for.
I think you want to use Time Delays between changing the output on your digitals.
Take some time with the LabVIEW tutorials. They'll help you a bunch here.

IMG -> SD -> BASIC FUNCTION -> OUTPUT CONTROL -> OUTPUT DETERMINATION -> OUTPUT DETERMINATION USING THE CONDITION TECHNIQUE -> MAINTAIN OUTPUT DETERMINATION FOR SALES DOCUMENTS -> MAINTAIN OUTPUT TYPES.
I have attached my program and form to the following parameters..
But when i go to VA42 and enter details for the header ouput area i cant find my customized output type
please help

Saad,
It seems you didnt proper configured Output procedure.
Please follow this step and check
--> Go to transaction NACE to add your own output types.
--> Goto transaction NACE and select the application type and Click on Output types button.
--> Click on Change button and Select Processing routines and click on NewEntries button.
--> Give the output type and Give your program and FORM routine and save it
Check also u must have to put your new outut types into the procedure.

WRT54G getting back control help

I accidentally pressed the button which reset all my security settings and I have a white solid light on rather than the orange. On my wireless computer I have a default profile which cant connect to the access point and a new profile which self made and can connect to the router but not the internet. This computer says at the cmd prompt after I type ipconfig "no media" media disconnected" I believe I dont have an IP address. Im trying to get control back and entered the deafualt IP address on my wired computer which opened up a username/password window. I cant get past this. I leave the username blank as suggested and type "admin" for the password but it doesnt work. Ie tried resetting everything and I seem to be stuck. I even tried the installation cd again but that cant sense the router from the wireless computer. Please help

if u have a cable connection , follow these steps :
1) on the router ui , go to the Mac Address Clone subtab, enable it and click clone your pc's mac...save the settings
2) disconnect the power cable from the router and then the modem..after a couple of mins , plug the modem power cable and after a couple of mins , plug the router power cable
3) check whether u have a valid internet ip add on the router's status page
if a DSL connection ,
1) first off , bridge the DSL modem...
2) set up a PPPoE connection on the router
3) go to the status tab and check whether the PPPoE status is connected and u have a valid internet ip add
after this , try changing the wireless settings on the router ,
ssid - any non-linksys name
channel - 1 or 11
if u have windows xp on the computer which has the wireless adapter...uninstall it completely and install only the drivers for the adapter....use windows wireless service to manage the wireless connection..

5300 XpressMusic Media Controls Help

I've accidentally went on a nuking spree with my Nokia 5300 XpressMusic phone, and somehow managed to delete everything. That would include the apps, audio, video and any settings that were configured. My issue seems to be the media controls on the side of my phone; they only work with the radio and not the music player. My carrier is Rogers and therefore on my phone is the Rogers Music Player. I've restored the factory defaults in hopes that the media controls would work but no go. Any ideas from the experts out there would be greatly appreciated!

It's a long shot, but try updating/reloading the firmware on the phone with the Nokia Software Updater application.

Actgive-X 3-D Control Help

I am having difficulty making this project with an Active-X 3-D control incorporated into it. Essentially, I have included the "3DGraphCtrl.h" header file at the top of my source code, and for some reason, every single library function is causing an error described s follows:
Undefined symbol '_CW3DGraphLib_CWCursor3DGetYPosition@12' referenced in "My Project.c".
As mentioned, this is listed for EVERY FUNCTION I use in the CVI active-X library. I open the 3DGraphCtrl.h file - I see the definition for the functions I am using. I include the header file in a single 'c' file, put all my function prototypes listed after the include that involve the active-X control, I have all the variables that I am using made global in the 'c' file just before main. I get no compile errors, just the errors that I am talking about above. I made a stand-alone project that all my functions for the active-X control to validate that they work. I copy & paste them into another project, then it goes to garbage. What silly thing am I doing wrong? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I believe that you are right. When I was building the project before which I can call my template for inserting a 3-D plot I built the project initially using the CVI generate all code option in the *.uir editor. I noticed that the instrument driver was included in the build of my template program whereas the project I was trying to incorporate the 3-D control into did not include the instrument driver. I knew it had to be something simple. Thank you for your help.

Parental Controls help needed

I'm a little confused on parental controls.
Applications logging: Nothing shows up at all. Does something have to be done to activate this? Does it only log certain (i.e. Apple) applications?
Websites Visited: Does this only log Safari visits, or will it work with Firefox too? It started working and then just stopped logging.
Chat: I realize that parental controls only works for iChat. Is there something else for other chat programs? Is there a way to limit access to other chat programs (there are so many) to force iChat use so it can be monitored?

Still not working. It logged some website and chat activity for about three days and then nothing. I have tried turning on and off, restarting machine - still nothing. I am not sure about time limits or other restrictions - as far as I know nothing about Parental Controls is working at all.
I realize this is "user to user" help. Is there an "official" place to get support or report this as a bug?

Volume control help for OS X

So, I have a Macbook Pro. I'm not sure what's happened, but I'm no longer able to control or mute my volume by the F10, 11, & 12 keys. I have to manually go to my system settings to control the volume. I'm also not seeing this red light others say they see when it happens to them. I'm shut the computer down, run my headphones in and out a number of times, etc, and I'm just at a loss for what else to do. Any ideas?

You can also try a pram reset: power off, power on holding the following keys: option command,P,R(no commas), continue to hold these keys till you hear the start chime 2 times. Release and rebot.

Custom Control Help: Draw a line and output start and end points

I'm looking to find or make a custom control (or simple subVI) that will appear as a 100x100 unit grid and allow me to draw a line from one point to another on that grid. It will then output the (x,y) of the starting and end point of that line on the grid. Any help or ideas?

What you basically want is a loop with an event structure where you process Mouse Down, Move and Up events for your controls. There are any number of ways of implementing something like this, but this one will probably be the simplest:
Use a multicolumn listbox or a table for your grid. Hide the scrollbars and headers.
You can use the ActiveCell property with -2,-2 to select all cells. You can then use the cell size property to set the exact size of the cell.
Next, you put a picture control on top of the table and color its background transparent so that the table shows through. You use property node to make sure the two are aligned to exactly the same spot and size.
You use the mouse events on the picture control to detect the clicks and moves.
You use the table's Point to Row Column method to translate the event's position data to a cell.
You use the picture control VIs to draw the line on the picture based on that data.
You can even color the selected cells in the table using the table properties.
If you want to simplify things somewhat, you can also use the timeout event instead of the Mouse Move event to draw the line, but then you'll need to keep the timeout value in a shift register and reset it to -1 (no timeout) when the Mouse Up event happens.
I would also suggest processing Mouse Enter and Leave events to change the cursor and cancel if the user leaves in the middle of dragging.

Export image EMF from tab control, help!!

I am trying to get a good resolution report. I got use export image to EMF file so the graphs look very good resolution. When I appended the image control like png it looked poor quality. Now is ok, now I export image of graphs to emf and then use 'append image to report' using the path of file emf.
But I have a problem in this case. I am trying to get EMF file from Tab control. I have 8 graphs inside of each page of tab control. I would like to get each page exporting to EMF file and later append the image to report from path of file. The problem is I cant export to emf. I tried the solution in this treads.

But it uses get image and it is bmp, so no good solution.
I attached pdf file. IT shows the tab control with append control to report (it is like capture in png file) and one graph append control to report png and emf file of another graph and use the path to input in word report. You can see the diference.
I would like to know if i could export the tab control to emf or any onther vectorial image and later use the path. SInce it will take several pages and i will need sometimes 300-400 graphs...
Any idea would be great.

Well, it was only one example. Check the attached file. It works ok. I split in dataset of 8sec and save the emf files.
The problem is the report. If I enable it doestnt works fine, since you will be the both parts working in the same time.
That's why the sequence structure would be ok, one time all the graphs are saved then I could append to report.
I have another question. I used transparent graph and it works ok. I remove all the scales Y values or labels and customized the graph adding one horinzontal line for X scale (like capture), but in the file emf saved didnt appear. Do you know why?.

Model View Control help!

Hi!
I have a var in Model called "age". From ActionPerformed in Control I want to take the value from a JTextField in View and update age. How do I do this?

With MVC you should create the model, view and controller in a driver class that creates all the compoents of the MVC and merges them together. You should be passing the model as a parm to the view in the constructor.
Example Driver Class:

You will see that the Observer interface has a method named update(Observer o, Object arg). You simply place any code in here that you need to update your UI values with. Let me know if you need any examples.

Table Control Help required

Right now I am working in table control.
I have an internal table that is getting displayed onto the table control,the internal table has the primary key MATNR in it.
When the user enters an identical MATNR in the second row the validation should throw a message that'Entry already exists' and the entry should get deleted.
The internal table is filled up from the database table using the WBS Element.Then before saving the new entry ,the database entry for the WBS element is deleted.
After updating the Internal table the internal table is inserted into the database table.
Can anyone let me know how to validate the new entry against the entries already existing in the internal table.

Message Control help

Hello all, I am trying to use message control to send an IDoc to XI upon creation of an outbound delivery.
I have tried a few things. In my partner profile under outbound parameters (message control tab) I have set the application: V2 (shipping), message type: LD00 (delivery note), and the process code: DELV (idoc_output_delvry).
However, when I create the outbound delivery it's not kicking off an IDoc. What am I missing? Have I selected the wrong information for message control? I want to use IDoc delvry05
points garunteed.

but did you maintain condition records?
transaction NACE or directly VV21
(you need to see the IDOC in output messages
of the delivery doc)
you can also use LAVA output type but depends if you want to output delivery creation
(delivery notification) or delivery posting
anyway create the condition record and it will work:)

Repeat Region (with records per page user control) - help req..

Hi there.
I would like visitor to a website to be able to control the number of records displayed on a page (using a form, select list probably) that overwrites the value I have chosen for the number of records displayed using the DW repeat region behaviour.
Update - I've just noticed this forums uses exactly the control I want at the top left of list of posts.
For example. I have the reapeat region set to display 10 records, I want a drop down list to let user choose to display 25, 50, or All records.
Are there any tuts or extentions that anyone knows of?
