Control the character animation in adobe edge

Hello ,
i have a character, i want to control the animation to use left arrow key and right arrow key.
When i press left arrow key the character run animation call.
When i press right arrow key character back run animation call.
when user don't press any key the character stop animation call.
Please help me, i am designer i don't know codding/

How do I add an MP3 Soundtrack to my animation in Adobe Edge?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I can't find a way to search the discussions
I simply want to include an MP3 soundtrack to run during my animation - import does not allow MP# files to be imported.

The "Ask a question" pod at the top of the discussions page is also a search pod, so you can just enter in your question there. To answer your question, though, most people are using buzz.js, which is an external library. You can search for "sound" in the forums and get a lot of information on how people are including it, etc. Please note that the mp3 format is not universally supported across all browsers, so you'll need to encode in multiple formats.

This has worked for me inserted into a click event:

In a browser I have gotten it to play automatically, but on my stupidphone I have to click on something.

compId - The composition ID, passed through the project-level closure. For example, "EDGE-519469".
symbolName - The symbol ID, passed through the symbol closure.
timelineName - The timeline name.
eventName - The event. For example, click.
actionFunction - The JavaScript function that executes when the trigger action fires. For stop, complete, and play events, the action function takes no arguments. For update events, the argument is elapsed. the milliseconds elapsed since the start of the timeline's playing.
Description: Defines a function that executes when the specified timeline event is triggered.
Example:

How do I add HTML5 animations from Adobe Edge in my Muse site?

For now, here are the steps to use Edge output in Muse.
Put all output files generated from Edge in the same folder that you want to export Muse output files. (keep all the subfolder structure e.g. edge_includes
In Muse, use Object->Insert HTML... menu to insert the following code:

</iframe>
Note
"Project-Header-r1v1.html" is a HTML file name that part of your Edge output.
Do not copy and paste the content in "Project-Header-r1v1.html" file directly since this refers to different jQuery file and it will also cause a duplicate Javascript include which break the output.
3. Export your Muse site to the folder.
Here's a movie showing Edge and Muse together:

Adding a script after the closure of previous script is the way to go i.e. right after the </script> tag.
So it should look something like below:

Cannot comment on one interfering with the other since it really depends on what exact code is there in the scripts. Google and Bing help resources will be able to help more with this.

How to Control the "tab order" in Adobe Captivate 8?

I was just trying to insert "tab order" to the module that I am creating using Adobe Captivate Version 8. I was not able to insert the tab order feature when I switched to the responsive project mode (project for Destop, Tablet, and Mobile).
Kindly guide me to insert tab order. I have checked all the online resources but was not able to find the relevant steps to create "tab order" in Captivate 8.

You can set the Tab order for Interactive objects from the Properties panel:
This will open a dialog where you can arrange the order for all the interactive objects on your slide.

How can I maintain the font used in Adobe Edge Animate for Adobe Muse website?

I used a png file which is working perfect and then used the font Montez in Edge Animate for 2 titles, however once I published the file(live) to muse it a totally different font. Is there something in particular I need to do in Animate to avoid alteration of font. Help!

Hello, do the animation in Adobe Edge Animate CC 2014.1
and faced with a problem, animating picture animation works when you hover over the image and still have the text which also operates and has a different animation, and the problem is if I'm pokartinke mouse and spend the mouse over the text in the image on the animation picture as if jumps and starts with a new one, I want to know how to do so that would be mouse as I had not seen the text of this so I can keep the mouse on the image and animation are normally worked

How can Adobe edge banner be used as media buy banner? Most publishers only accept animated gif or flash when using animation? Can iframe code buy used for edge banners?
IS the current state of Adobe edge too complicated to be used as display banners on Adwords or media buy advertising sites?

You would upload it the way you would upload any set of files to your web server. Some companies have them set up as network shares, some have them set up so that you log in with an FTP or SFTP account, and some have them set up so that you use SCP or a similar protocol. Basically, you will want to publish to web and then take the contents of the publish/web/ directory and put them into a directory on your webserver.

Flash character animation

I am creating a CBT for E-Learning. In the CBT we have used
animated character, voice over, play and pause option.
By default play button is selected, when user click on the
pause button it will pause the character movement like (body
movement, eye-popping and lips movement) and as well as voice over.
Click on play button it start the all the movement from where he
paused it.
I have faced following problem while doing the same:
1) For Play and Pause option, I have made the character
animation in flash timeline, and it is very time consuming to do
the lips movement in timeline. If I put the lips in a movieclip
then, clicking on Pause button it will not Stop.
Now I need the solution how to reduce the time to do the same
character animation in flash timeline with Play and Pause button.
Any idea.....! Pl revert...

If I understand you have done the animation already, in a
separate movieClip
but can't get it to pause... If that is the case just add the
code to your
pause button to affect more than one clip. Something like:
pauseButton.onRelease = function(){
mainCharacter.stop();
mainCharacter.lips.stop();
You can have your buttons affect as many clips as you need...
you could even
use an array to hold clip references and use that in both a
play and pause
button:
var myChar = [mainCharacter, mainCharacter.lips,
mainCharacter.eyes];

Controlling the timeline with mouse scrolling

i need to control the timeline animation with the mouse wheel.
how is it possible
i've tried this code but I've could only make it work with mouse move, unfortunatly the scroll does not work -
composition ready:

I'm trying to create an animation in Adobe Edge that can be controlled by swipe/finger, not an auto-play, when exported to Adobe DPS. Is this possible? Are there any good tutorials/code snippets out there that would make this possible? Thanks!

Precautions i need to take when changing the Character set

I am going to change my database's characterset from AL32UTF8 to WE8MSWIN1252 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set. So i have few questions for you.
1. What is the difference between Character Set and National Character set? Do i have to set both?
2. What are precautions that i need to take while changing the characterset?
3. What are JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES and AQ_TM_PROCESSES parameters in Plain English? Why do i have to set these parameters to 0 as mentioned in this post below.

1) The database character set controls (and specifies) the character set of CHAR & VARCHAR2 columns. The national character set controls the character set of NCHAR & NVARCHAR2 columns.
2) Please make sure that you read the section of the Globalization manual that discusses character set migration. In particular, going from UTF-8 to Windows-1252 is going to require a bit more work since the latter is a subset (and not a strict binary subset) of the former.

Your question is not that clear to me but... I believe that putting a PlainDocument class on the JTextField of the JTableCellEditor and overriding the insertString method would do the trick...
