Control the yes button on the af:inputFile

I have an option where the user loads a excel file and shows the data in a table and finally exports data to a new excel file. When the user wants to load the af:inputFile opens a popup up with two buttons ok and cancel. How can i control the action of the OK button to clean the data of my table??.

I interpret the question for how to respond to the OK button. For this you define a dialog listener on the af:dialog component, which creates a managed bean method like
public void handlerName(DialogEvent dialogEvent){ ... }
You can then call
//oracle.adf.view.eich.event.DialogEvent.Outcome
Outcome outcome = dialogEvent.getOutcome();
if(outcome = Outcome.ok){
clean up the table

I would like to create a customized button as a master so that if I change the look of the master all other buttons will change too.
I have done this with a custom control as a "strict type def" otherwise the look will not change BUT If I do this as a strict type def I cannot change the Boolean text anymore which should be different on every button.
How can I create a master control of a button where the look will be applied to all others but not the Boolean text?

As a workaround just make it a typedef. When you want to change the look open the typedef and make it strict, make your changes, then make it non strict again. You will have to update the Boolean text again for all instances. Kind of a pain. Maybe this is something for the idea exchange.

Removing the update button file from af:inputFile

Is there any way to disable the update button from the af:inputFile after browse and uploading the file . Once its uploaded it should show the browse button again istead of showing the update button.

Have you guys been able to activate your iphone yet? I bought an iphone 4s from eBay and it worked fine, but the previous user had left some data on it, so last night I used the "erased all content and settings" to restore it to factory setting so I can start fresh and restore my backup. But now I'm stuck at the activation screen (I get the same "the activation server is temporarily unavailable") and can't get it to activate, even if I use my old deactivated AT&T sim card (I'm on straighttalk now).
I might try activating it with an active AT&T sim card from my fiancee's phone when she gets home, so I'll let you know how that works outs.
If it's true that the server is down; anyone know when it will be back up again? Thanks in advance.

ALV grid control, Adding the push Button in the Toolbar

Hello All,
I am facing a problem when trying to do calculation based on the button added at the toolbar of interactive ALV list.
When I click on the toolbar button Compute, the ALV should calculate the
multiplication of the Qty (manually entered by a user) & price per unit already available in the ALV & show it the Column Total value.
Presently when I try to do this using
Method handle_user_command.
   modifying the inetrnal table GT_FINAL_OUTPUT
   with the Total price value .
   & updating the column Total price (Qty * price) in the Internal table
After doing this I am agin calling the below function
    CALL METHOD g_grid->set_table_for_first_display
    EXPORTING
    i_structure_name = 'GT_FINAL_OUTPUT'
    is_layout = gs_layout
    CHANGING
    it_fieldcatalog = gt_fieldcat
     it_outtab = GT_FINAL_OUTPUT[].
At above function it gives short dump or sometimes it does not update the ALV screen with the new updated value of Total price .
The short dump comes states the error of unassigned field symbol.
Kindly suggest a program where we can do manipulation at the editable ALV.
Or solution to above issue .

You should only be calling the SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY one time in the PBO of your screen, otherwise you should be using the REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY method. IN your PBO, check that the instance of the alv_container is alive, if so, do not call the SET method, rather call the REFRESH method.
if alv_container is initial.
    create object......
    create object g_grid.....
    call method g_grid->set_table_for_first_display......
else.
call method   g_grid->refresh_table_display( ).
endif.

How do I get all the control buttons in one place in 3.6.16, like they used to be in previous versions? Having the refresh and stop buttons between address and search windows, and the home button to the far right is awful.

In 3.6.16, the buttons are all over the place. In previous versions, the forward, back, refresh, stop and home buttons were all together. In this version, the refresh and stop buttons are between the address and search windows, and the home button to the far right.
I would love to have them all together as they used to be - much more user friendly that way. I have tried installing alternate themes, but the coding of this version over-rides the themes.

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

How to hide the "EXIT" button on the ESS Personal inf. iViews

We are using SAP ECC 6.0 + SAP EP 7.0 + ESS 1.0 (latest Releases).
In the ESS iViews (Java WD) for Personal information (Adresse, Bank, Family, etc. there is the Button "Exit"..
Does any have any Idea where and how to hide this "Exit" Button in the iView/Java-WD?

If you mean to hide the button using the iView/WD Personalisation by rightclick on the iView in PCD and then Review, well yes i know this and i have tried this already before and we were able to hide some not required input fields in the Webdynpro, but we were not able to find and to hide the "EXIT" Button using the personalisation..!!?? you know why?
Why to hide the Exit button, i will tell you why, in the iView for maintainig the ESS Personal Information -> e.g. Adresse --> Edit Adresse View (Roadmap view No. 2) --> when User click on the Exit Button --> This will open new browser Window with ESS... ---> This second Browser Window (Pop up) would confuse the User, since he already have an opened window, so the Customer mean why open new window, since the user can simply click the Button Back and so his data are also saved..
How can we manage to control the behaviour of the Button, so the iView is closed safety without that new Pop-up windows are opened...

Can I get rid of the TOC button on the playbar?

My project is set up to have a TOC and for most of my project I use a TOC button with widget to open the TOC. I am also using the Playback control Pearl for a portion of my project. When in this section where the playback control is active if I choose the TOC button to skip to a portion of the project it keeps the playback control and TOC open even though those slides initially are set to not show the playback control or TOC unless a button is clicked.
Any help on how to get rid of the TOC button on the playback control or to automatically hide this after you jump to a different part of the project?
I am using Captivate 5.5 and Windows 7.

how to handle the OK button of the parameters prompt of a crystal report in vba.NET?
I want to use the parameter prompt from the crystal report itself and I want to know when the report is ready. I need to export programatically by sending email to a list of employees after the parameters has been set. The emails I send depends on the results of the report.
Im using a CrystalReportViewer control in VS2010 and Crystal Report for VS2010 v13.0.1.220.

Right. But the parameter screen is driven by the viewer. Unless you create your own parameter screen and pass the parameters to the report via code.
Another thing I am not sure about:
"Then by code I want to read all the employees id from the report and send email to them with specified pages of the report. (1 page per employee)"
How do you plan on reading the employee ID from the report? I am not aware of any API that will read a value in a report so that you can then decide what page to send to whom.
I think you're approaching this kinda backwards. A question to ask is; can you do what you are trying to do in code in the CR designer? If not, using APIs will not work either. I suspect your approach should be a report that uses an employee filter. Run the report for employee x, get the report populated with the data for that employee and email it. Repeat for employee x1, employee x2, etc.

How can I prevent Aperture from playing slideshow when hitting the play button on the keyboard?

I am getting a bit frustrated by the fact that the play button on the keyboard, which I use all the time for controlling audio playback in iTunes and now Spotify, is assigned to starting the slideshow in Aperture. Playing a slideshow is something I never use, and is something that causes the beachball of death to appear every time. It does not make sense to me that the slideshow overrules the audio playback in iTunes. Help is much appreciated...

In Aperture the keyboard shortcuts are defined in the Command Editor.
To open the Command Editor, go to the Aperture menu -> Commands -> Customize
and in the search field enter "slideshow". Remove or replace the key binding you find there, if it is the one you want to use in iTunes.

Hi, try this...
If nothing is showing in the Toolbar at top, click the little gray oval at top right.
Right click or Control+click on the Toolbar, choose Customize Toolbar, drag the Send button to the Toolbar.

TThe effects controls should be in the inspector. Select the clip in the timeline and post a screen shot of the video inspector.

                  if u want an interactive ALV report , there are lot of forums already having the solution for that , but let me give u the solution anyway.
In the function module "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY" , import parameters
     I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET          = 'FLIGHT'
     I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND           = 'BUTTON_CLICK'
has to be supplied to this function module . The PF status is where u hav created the two buttons , that PF status has to be given here .If the user clicks on the button then it is handled by the form routines . Inside the sub-routine based on the button the user has selected u could perform the action.
FORM FLIGHT    USING RT_EXTAB TYPE SLIS_T_EXTAB.
SET PF-STATUS 'FLIGHT' EXCLUDING RT_EXTAB.
ENDFORM.
Here the "Flight" is the PF_status .
