Probably not the only one, but I suspect there's not that many people so if development resources are tight they'll go for things that will have a wider user base. It's also a selling point for something liek an iPhones/iPod Touch which is more likely to be in my pocket/in the lounge than the computer.
Not sure if you could use the iphone development SDK to run Remote app on you Mac?

I just would like to completely reset my MAC. I dont want to have to download or purchase a software to download, and I dont quite understand what the time machine is supposed to do if you have not been told to use if before. Shouldn't mac have some type of in home software already installed? And how can I completely restore my mac back to its original system?

1: Connect a external powered drive like a Firewire or USB drive. If you question the drive format or need to format it, first do that in Disk Utility before transfering any files to the drive. MSDOS, FAT32 or exFAT is best for any Windows or Mac to access the files.
2: Transfer your files manually by dragging and dropping your Users Folders like Pictures, Movies, Documents and Music (do not use TimeMachine!!) Eject the drive and disconnect from the computer.
3: Next insert the cd that came with your computer and reboot holding c
4: Two screens in is a menu option called "Utilities" select Disk Utility.
5: On the left is your internal boot drive, select it and Erase > Format HFS+ Journaled > Security Option > Zero All Data. Wait about a hour or so until it's finished.
6: When it's done, quit and your back in the installer again, install OS X and when finished, shut down.
The next time the computer reboots, it will go through the "welcome" video and the initial setup, just like a new Mac.

Ok I understand that but my ATV only appears in the left control column of one iMac and not the other. Not the one I want to control it with.

Your best bet, by far, is to use Setup Assistant when your shiny new Mac first starts up (not Migration Assistant later).

3 ATVs from 1 mac. Is it possible/practical?

I do trade shows and currently drive 3 monitors using three Mac mini's. I'm wondering would it be possible to use one Mac to send (different) content to 3 TV's at the same time? The content would be short (under 3 mins each) and looping.

Yes you can use 3 Apple TV to stream content from one library subject to a reasonable network. I can't say for sure that looping movies will work with the Apple TV 2, they did with the first generation model, but can't recall testing that with the Apple TV 2.

How do you import your musci from you rLibrary to your IPOD?

I have 152 songs on my Ipod. I had to reinstall windows xp and then imported all my songs I had on the pc in to the ituens Library whenI go to update the songs on the IPOD none of the new songs updated. How can I move the songs from the Library to the Ipod without deleting all the songs off the Ipod? Also how can I back up the songs off the Ipod when I go into the Ipod it shows the songs in gray ?

Thanks for the information when I go into Itunes under the Ipod options and unchecked only update checked songs when I close it it still says the ipod is linked to another library do you want to change this link to this itunes library and replace all existing songs and playlist on this ipod with those from this library. I don't want to delete any songs I wnt to add more and when I try to update the songs nothing happens.
also when I go into the actual ipod i have 3 folders calanders, contacts and notes should there be another folder?

A free way to control a windows PC from a Mac

Hi all,
My folks live a few hundred miles away, and I often need to help them with something on their Windows laptop. (Don't worry - their next machine will definitely be a Mac, now that they have played with my iMac!)
I would like to be able to remotely control their machine from my Mac (similar to how this is achieved where I work using WinVNC)
Ideally this software would be free, or a few dollars. Again, needs to be able to install on the Mac to control the windows PC. It will never need to operate in the other direction (i.e. they won't need to control my machine!)
Can anyone help? I would be v grateful for the saved 'over the phone' support, and my parents would definitely appreciate it!!!
