Controlling the Boolean Controls and generating Numeric Output correspondingly
Hello everyone,
I am working on a project of electrode activation, here I was thinking that how could I control one electrode at a time and generate a numeric output of it correspondingly. I want to substitute each electrode with a an LED on Front Panel and generate numeric value of each LED on Block Diagram.
So it can be divided into two parts
1- Control the Boolean outputs
Here, my target is that if I have 5 leds who are used as Boolean control, should be controlled in such a way that only one of them glows at a time and the remaining turns off.
I mean that for instance if #3 was glowing and the user pressed #2 then #3 should be turned off and only #2 glows.
2- Generating Numeric value correspondingly
Then according to the position of LEDs I want to generate a numeric value correspondingly, like previously output 3 was coming and the output 2 comes when second LED glows.

Thanks very much Dennis, Its really what i need.
But i have a bounding in the radio button to place all option together.
Since i am activating the appropiate electrode on the body, all the options could not come vertically or horizontally.
So can you pls guide me how can i make my 5 electrode behave like a radio control.

On the surface it is an error from a memory space of the binary/non-managed code, so nothing can be really concluded based on what you decided to share with us.

So Same package is working fine from my local machine which has SQL 2008 R2 and SQL 2012 installed. I am trying to push the package on server which has sql server 2012 Installed .

Types problem with rowset control and generated pageflow

I made a rowset control from a flat table. Some of the columns where DATE type.
In the associated pageflow, it generated a Databaseform bean and for the dates, it used a timestamp type.
Which format should I use in the input of the form field ??
each time i submit, the value in the action form is null ...
what to do ? what should I modify in the rowset control, if I want to deal with string values til the real insert ?

How to print the top of page part along with the ALV list and generate PDF
HI all,
I have created one ALV by using oops concept .
and also am able to get the top of page where I have One standard logo on the right hand side
and some details on the left side .
Now my requirement is to while printing the list the logo and other top of page details should appear
In the PDF output but currently while am pressing the print preview button only the alv data is coming
am already using the method

After generating the grid display click on print button,
a spool number is generated. capture the spool number and convert it to pdf using the fm:
CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF and save the file

How can I set the file name and folder for output to PDF from another application?
I am developing an application in Microsoft Access where the printed reports are to be saved in PDF format for archive purposes. I can send the output to Adobe X, but the default file name is the Access report name and the folder selected is the one last used.
What I need to do is to create the file with a specific name (which changes for each run) and to a specific folder (which also changes for each run).
The language I'm using is Visual Basic for Applications which is located in an Access form that controls the report production.
Any suggestions, please?Got it - many thanks.

Mismatch between the bean code and generated code
Hello all,
I am running WL7.0Sp2 on Winnt4.0Sp6 connecting to Oracle 8.17. I have been running
my app on this server for a while (all my beans deployed ok, WL started up fine,
no problems). From last week, all of a sudden, I am getting the error attached
when I am trying to deploy just one bean (?). The weird thing is it deploys fine
in every other env. except fine (so I am guessing something must have gone awry
in my class path) but I cant figure this out?
Any ideas? suggestions?

The output is XCOFF64, along with other built libraries stored in big format archive (not shared object). Is there something wrong with the compile options or am I missing an option that Tuxedo needs to pass onto xlc for linking?

Controlling and Acquiring Temperatures simultaneously
Hello all, Setup: I'm running an experiment where I'm heating air and measuring its temperature at various points through a system. I'm operating the heaters using a Heater control (OMEGA CN4000 series temperature controller). The thermocouples (K-type) measuring air temperatures are going into the DAQ board (SCB-68). I'm using an analog input step in SignalExpress to measure thermocouple temperatures. I’ve attached my SignalExpress file to this thread. Problem: What I want to do is to display the thermocouple temperatures in the Heater control as a processed variable while I change the set point. Simultaneously I want to record the temperatures using SignalExpress. I’ve tried to do this by taking in Voltage from my thermocouple inputs on the board and generating an output voltage through my analog output channels on the board. However, this has’nt worked very well. I see two major problems:- The program does’nt allow me to acquire Voltage and thermocouple temperatures simultaneously from the same channels.- Even if I acquire only the Voltage from the board and feed it directly into my Heater Controller, the temperatures displayed are completely incorrect. I’m completely new with DAQ, so I’ll need a lot of help with this. Help greatly Appreciated,Ronak

Generate XML output using DBMS_XMLGEN.getxmltype and not from rdf
Hi,
I have a requirement to display output from a particular table in XL format. Out of all the known possible options, I am planning to use the XML publisher to generate XL output.
For the data source, instead of using the conventional way of creating XML data using rdf,I am planning to use DBMS_XMLGEN.getxmltype pl/sql procedure to generate the XML output. And from the output, call the template to generate the required Excel output.
Now, I am using the following code to generate XML output but am not sure how to proceed from here. I need to first print the XML data in the FND Output file after which I was planning to call the 'XML Report Publisher' (XDOREPPB) program and use the current request id to get the excel output but I am not able to find the way to print the XML data in the output file as:

Also, you do not need to explicitly call XDOREPPB in later versions of XML Publisher. If you set up everything correctly (as described in the presentation above and the link below) the Output Post Processor is called automatically after the XML file is generated successfully.

Sync boolean data and clock outputs
Hi ppl.
I was hopping someone could help me with a sync problem:
a) I want to output a counter (pulse train) using the USB-6289 board internal counter (clock);
b) I want to output a boolean array (data);
c) The outputs should be in sync, and the 16-bit word should output in full;
I have got the a) and b) parts working, I believe, however the c) part, when I run the vi in continuous mode, the pulse train with the counter works fine, but the boolean
array just assumes the "1" value (I see this in my Logic Analyzer) and maintains this value throughout the whole time...What am I doing wrong in this part?
I have attached my vi and a printscreen of the boolean data and code.

2. Don't ever use Run Continuous. It is only there for debugging purposes. Put a while loop around your code and use a Stop button to stop the while loop. Any code that should happen only at the beginning such as creating tasks or clocks should occur before the while loop. Code that should occur on at the end such as clearing tasks should occur after the while loop.
3. Perhaps you want to use continuous samples rather than finite?
4. Look through all the DaqMX examples. There might be one that better describes how to link the timing of one task to another. I'm not an expert in DAQ, so I'm not sure if everything is set up properly. -

BI Publisher - PO_DISPATCH Error generating report output

Sorry for my bad english... having said that...
I need to modify the Purchase Order print. First, I wanted to see the standard version to get an idea of how much different it was. Well, I don't know because it doesn't work.
Error:
Error generating report output: (235,2309)
Error occurred during the process of generating the output file from template file, XML data file, and translation XLIFF file.
I know there are several topics on the web, but all of them are about new or custom reports, this is a standard one. When I preview the report on the report definition it works fine, so I assume there's a problem with the XML file generated. When I preview the report specifying an alternative XML I get the same error. The XML file I choose was the one generated by PeopleSoft when trying to view the printable version of the PO online.
So, I start cutting portions of the XML File. I started leaving only de Header Data and it works OK, when I add the Lines it failed. I add the Line Fields one by one to detect what was the problem... And finally it failed when I add AMT_LINE_MAX. Why? No idea, is it because its value is '0,000' instead of '0.000'? I don't think that should be the problem since there are other numeric fields on the header, all with ',' as a decimal separator...
Am I missing some configuration?

If I were to guess, I'd guess that your filename is invalid. How about removing all special characters (spaces, brackets, etc.) from the device name. Also, make sure your form was compiled for HTML.
I haven't actually used the HTML driver, but these are general things you should do if you have trouble with any Central driver.

Dev 6.0 Reports: Error when generating delimited output
It seems there may be a problem when trying to use the generate
delimited output command in Developer 6.0 Reports run-time.
I have a report with a formula column that performs a simple
calculation 'x is what percent of y,' where x and y are fields on
the report. From Report Builder I can preview the report and
generate delimited output without any problems. It is quite
nice. Unfortunately this is not true when using the run-time
exacutable outside of Report Builder.
The report runs without a problem, but when I choose to generate
to a file as delimited output (comma delimited with quotes as
cell wrappers) I receive the error:
'REP-1249 Column <column name> has no PL/SQL formula.' It seems
that summary columns work fine, but if the report contains a
formula column then it fails. If I remove the formula column and
generate to a file as delimited output it works fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to solve this problem?

Hi Scott,
could only guess, but try to have your report compiled to a .rep
file instead of using .rdf. Maybe it helps.
