Controlling the boundingbox vertices

Hi
Im serching for the solution of controlling the boundingbox vertices left .right ,,,, by an expression
But i just dont now from where i can begin or how to refers to the bondingbox in the mask path expression .the standarad expression is mask("Mask 1").maskpath
How can i control them by yousing these expression and admore in it

Allow the user to control the width of the edit forum post input box

I would like to control the width of of the edit-forum post input box. This could be:
automatically adjust the width of the box so that the box doesn't run off the right edge of the window.
have a user global preference to set the preferred width
at least, allow the user to change the width via the change size icon. The three horizontal bars at the lower left of the input box. You can adjust the vertical dimension, but not the horizontal. TenFourFox 4.0.1. This is probably being blocked for some obscure reason.

Curiously enough, the "software" let's me adjust the width & height of the add reason to edit text, but not adjust the width of the more important edit text box.

Standard Reply box can be height adjusted but not width.
Same with Advanced Editor
No Adjustment at all in HTL Editor

Only Height Adjustment again.
I do seem to remember someone posting about the width and saying they could drag it over the edge of the right hand edge (Into the grey surround)
This may have been a post in the lounge.
It didn't actually try it at the time but have played with it since and have not seen it.
Maybe it is something they "Fixed" in both senses of the word.

How to align the text vertical in the edit box in mfc?

Hi,
I had an edit box of which height is increased than the default.Now the problem here is when I am entering text into the edit box the text is not present at the centre of the edit box, It is still aligned at the top.
After increasing the height of the edit box the text and cursor are aligned at the top as shown in the below figure.
But Actually how I want is the text and the cursor position needs to be aligned centre as shown in the below figure.
Note: "EDITTEXT IDC_EDIT_BOX,10,73,156,14,ES_AUTOHSCROLL"
Can anyone please help me how can I make the text and the position of the cursor to be aligned vertically i.e, to the centre of the control.

If vertical alignment is not possible, then use an edit box without borders, having the default height, and place it inside a static control having
SS_WHITERECT style. (In MFC Dialog Editor, set the Type and Colour properties). Both of controls will be children of dialog. Use a proper tab order. Check if the style
WS_CLIPSIBLINGS is needed too.

I need help about controlling my animations with slider.
I already know about slider & water dropping animations, but how to make this 2 things interract.
Right now i have slider and water dropping animations, but when i scroll my slider up and down, my animations still with the same speed.
In my opinion, i think, i need to make one func/method that take var from slider and transfer it to water dropping var(controlling the speed of anim...).

Can I control the spacing before and after a signature?

When using the Mail app, can I control the spacing before and after a signature? It seems like the app adds space, but it doesn't add the same amount every time.

The only way I can think of to maintain equla spacing between the text ov vartying lengths and the vertical lines is to put each icon/text pair in it's own frame fitted to content, make each vertical line a separate object, then select them all and distribute the spacing.

Controlling the frame of a mask?

Hi gang,
I have to do a bunch of masks on still portraits. I need each portrait to be the same frame size. I want to use masks to standardize the frame size. In FCPX I could use the 'Crop', which is okay. But as I was experiment with the 'mask' I notice that the mask is more like a 4 point mask ... but there seems to be no way you can control the vertical, or horizontal, angle. Which makes for a crooked mask. This seems odd. Is there a way to control the sides ... so they can be forced to be perfectly vertical or horizontal?
And, while I'm asking ... can FCPX do multi-point (4,8,12) masks?

'Trim' in Crop you mean? Yup, that's what I used. Works fine. But I used to do a lot of odd and useful things with masks/mattes in FCP7, and I'm trying to figure out what FCPX can do ... without me having to go to Motion.

Control horizontal and Vertical position of a line ..

Hello,
triying to fulfill the requirments on the diagramm of a dashboard, i need to control the vertical and horizontal position of a Line (for example). depending on a calculated formula the line should be 10 mm from Top and 10mm from left (for example).
Do anybody have an idea how realize it .. ?

If there is just two positions: just make two lines and flip the visibility.
If there are multiple positions: make a line chart. Do not show the markers and remove all further stuff (no mouseovers, axes gone, backgrounds gone etcetera) and just add a series. Now change either the scale of the axes according to your distance thresholds or change the value of the datapoints.

Controlling the Boolean Controls and generating Numeric Output correspondingly

Hello everyone,
I am working on a project of electrode activation, here I was thinking that how could I control one electrode at a time and generate a numeric output of it correspondingly. I want to substitute each electrode with a an LED on Front Panel and generate numeric value of each LED on Block Diagram.
So it can be divided into two parts
1- Control the Boolean outputs
Here, my target is that if I have 5 leds who are used as Boolean control, should be controlled in such a way that only one of them glows at a time and the remaining turns off.
I mean that for instance if #3 was glowing and the user pressed #2 then #3 should be turned off and only #2 glows.
2- Generating Numeric value correspondingly
Then according to the position of LEDs I want to generate a numeric value correspondingly, like previously output 3 was coming and the output 2 comes when second LED glows.
I request all the participants on this group to help me on it.

But i have a bounding in the radio button to place all option together.
Since i am activating the appropiate electrode on the body, all the options could not come vertically or horizontally.
So can you pls guide me how can i make my 5 electrode behave like a radio control.

How to control the options in Search popup of an LOV?

I have a query panel which is based on a view criteria of a view object. One of the query item is a ComboListOfValues. I do not have control over the 'Search' window which opens when we click on the LOV inside the Query Panel. Basically, I want to control the width of the results table and I do not want the title('Search') for the dialog. Also, I want to hide the Advanced button. Is there any way to do it?

Below is my code for the popup. What I am saying is, inside the popup I have a search parameter which in ComboListOfValues. On click on that LOV it will invoke a search popup on which we do not have control. How to control the properties in that search popup. I am not talking about initial popup(id=popup1) on which we have control and I have set all the properties. I am talking about a LOV search parameter inside the query panel(id = qryId2).

In Captivate, how to effectively control the movement of objects on the stage?

How to, say, make a shape (an arrow, for example) which points to a certain location move (and maybe rotate at the same time) to another location (another point on the stage) one second later. I know I can "apply effect" to it, but still I don't find it very easy to control the start position and end position of the arrow and the way it rotates (for example, how to make it rotate along the X, Y and Z axis respectively?)
Or, how can I make an image fly into the stage to a specific location from a certain direction, linger for a specific time, and then fly out in a specified direction? And while setting up this animation, is it possible to scrub across the timeline to see the effect of the animation, as you do in Flash Professional?

An old pain, efficient control of motion paths and motion effects, I know.
All motion effects are relative to the start position of the object, that can allow you to realize the fly in and fly out: time both effects and leave the necessary 'linger' time between the effects. The motion paths can be edited. To have more precise coordinates you can either edit the XML that describes the effect, or create a motion effect in Flash Professional and save it as XML to be used in Captivate, or use my approach: I create a crosshair group with a perfect vertical and horizontal line object, that you can position exactly using the X and Y coordinates and then drag start or end point of the motion path over that cross hair. I have been pleading to have at least a snap function or a serious improvement that allows to enter coordinates but apparently not many users are wanting this improvement. I used that approach here in the first movie: Reset Effects in Captivate 6 - Captivate blog
And no, Preview slide (which is what you do when scrubbing the timeline) is not a real preview, you cannot see those effects.
Please, next time mention the version you are using. In CP7 and before effect duration was relative to object duration, in CP8 it is (finally) absolute timing.

Static Data in 2 pages..how to control the Paging ?

Hi, I have static data that goes into Page1 and separate static data that has to go into Page2. I have 2 rectangles for each of this independent data. I have developed them in different Reports, now when I try to bring both the rectangles into one Report
I have paging issues. what is the best way to put them in one Report and control the paging (meaning 1st rectangle in Page1, 2nd rectangle in Page2). Users are going to print these reports to PDF. I tried setting "Page break" on Rectangle1 but it
works in SSRS but not in PDF.

According to your description, you have two rectangles in your report. You have apply page break between these two rectangles. It works in SSRS. But it's not working when exporting into PDF. Right?
In this scenario, since the page break works properly in SSRS. There's no issue on page break setting. In Reporting Services, PDF and Print are all Hard Page-Break Renders. Page breaks are inserted vertically and horizontally at specific locations within
the report body. These specific locations are determined by the page width and page height settings. So we suggest you adjust the page size. Also you can try other Soft Page-Break Renders then print from the exported file.

unless i'm missing something, i think you got mixed up, this is easy google for walk throughs
i'm assuming this is the new 3tb tc AC or 'tower' shape, if so, its wifi will run circles around your at&t device
unplug the at&t box for a minute and plug it back in
factory reset your tc - unplug it, hold down reset and keep holding while you plug it back in - only release reset when amber light flashes in 10-20s
connect the tc to your at&t box via eth in the wan port, wait 1 minute, open airport utility look in 'other wifi devices' to setup the tc
create a new wifi network (give it a different name than your at&t one) and put the tc in bridge mode (it may do this automatically for you, but you should double check) under the 'network' tab
login to your at&t router and disable wifi on it
add new clients to the new wifi network, and point your Macs to the time machine for backups

Remotely control the ITunes on Windows 7 64 bit PC with the new IPad

With the latest version of ITunes for both Win7 and the new IPad, I'm only able to use the new IPad to remotely control the ITunes on Windows 7 64 bit PC through wired connection ( ethernet cable ) to the wireless router. As soon as I connect my PC through wireless connection, the new IPad can not find my libraries.
Is this a known issue or am I missing some settings?
