I closed iTunes & manually deleted the file which was still stored locally even though it didn't display in Preferences. I have vista so I went to
C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync and deleted everything in the Backup folder (though I left the folder as is). If you have a different OS search the apple website for the backup location.
I reopened iTunes & Synced with out a problem. I also got the update to install.

I cannot connect to my basic SQL server from Visual Studio Ultimate 2013? Error 40 - Cannot establish connection

I just started learning ASP.NET through a book, and it asks to connect to "your" SQL server and explore a .mdf file. I've been trying to install SQL, but I only just now got a working installation, and even then it won't let me install the Management

This is exactly what I do to connect:
1) Open project
2) Navigate to the Server Explorer
3) Click on connect to database
4) In this menu, I can see me Machine name on the top part, which I think means that it's picking up my server runningh
5) On the bottom, it wants me to enter a database name. I think this may be my problem, as I have no idea what to do here.
Also, when I double click on the database file, I get this errpr (52): http://puu.sh/7F2Yw.png
I really don't know what to do here, so post any tips down below

Did you choose the correct Server name? It should be the machine name where you installed SQL Server on.
Is it empty when you open select or enter database name drop box in the Add connect dialog box in the Visual Studio 2013?

The screenshots indicates that the SQL Server is not accessible.
Do you mean that you are not able to connect SQL Server by using SQL Server Management Studio?
If so, make sure that SQL Server Services is started.

While tring to coonect to SQL server from MS excel getting Login Failed error

Hi I am trying to connect to SQL Server DB from another server using the MS excel connect to SQL server in other data sources option.
When I am trying to connect I am getting the following error, "Login Failed For User xxxx\yyyy".
In the DB server this user is the super user and he is having complete set of permissions, need help on this.

As you are using the SQL Server Authentication to connect the database, please make sure you have already check the option 'SQL Server and windows Authentication mode' in your DB Server, also check if this login account is enabled.
If you can connect the database with this login account in this server using SSMS, You can connect the database in Excel too.

Trying to backup iTunes from PC to Mac, I get error -51

Hi. So I want to reformat my PC to solve a problem I have with graphics drivers. And I don't want to lose my giant iTunes library that I have spent ages customizing, adding music etc. I don't have an external hard drive, and there are no free cloud storage programs with enough space available for all my stuff (podcasts, movies, music, etc.) however I do have a family Mac (which is running OS X Mavericks) with plenty of space where I could possibly store the files for temporary storage while I reformat my PC (Windows 7).
To move the files, I'm using an ethernet cable to share my iTunes folder between the 2 computers. However, every time I try and copy the iTunes file it copies about 4 gigabytes of the 60, then says that an unknown error occured error code -51. It's very frustrating. Could this be because of the different filesystems that Windows and OS X use? What can I do to make it compatable?

OK, I decided to give Apple more money and bought iTunes Match. It seems to be more headachs than it's worth. And it's neglected by Apple. Last time I'll be doing that! that's for sure!

Error in converting exchange rate from to AED

Dear All,
When creating sales order I am receiving following error: Condition ZPRS: Error in converting exchange rate from to AED.
Such a error I am receiving when in material - there is not mantained delivery plant but this is not this case.
(interesting is that from FX currency is missing...)
I have also tried to play with customizing with plant assignment but without a result - this error is only in productive system in test everything is working fine...
??? any ideas ???

Compare between the production server and server in which there is no error (CHOOSE YOUR EXCHANGE RATE TYPE / DOCUMENT CURRENCY AND LOCAL CURRENCY )
Check and revert back.
If its not solved, please provide the error message number.

Backup server desinging or deployment

Hello guys,
I have 1 backup & symantec mangement server in 2 different sites with 4 nics each (2 for management & 2 for backup traffic diferent Vlan
Since this is fresh installation, in backup server we have configured 2 subnets192.168.1.x(internet) and 192.168.2.x.(backup) and added in the routing table to direct backup traffic to 192.168.2.x. for backup as we cannot keep 2 gateway in 1 server.
Since, i have not set gateway for 192.168.2.x, we are not able to contact backup server from remote site.
But, it works when i set the gateway, which i should not be doing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
A computer should never have two default gateways. According to your description, I'm not quite sure about your network toppology.
As what I understood, the server connect to both 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x, then subnet 192.168.2.x should be reachable even if you do nothing on routing table.
If you add routing entry via "route add ...", it doesn't mean you have two default gateway. Only specific network will be send via this specific interface. In this situation, your provisioning should be correct.

Error reports converting a vi from LV8 to LV7.1

Neatly working VI in LV8.0 for some reason I am converting it into earlier version of LV7.1. When I opened from LV7.1, I got the error message (report attached).
Hope somebody help me out to avoid coding from scratch.

In JDev 9.0.2, to deploy to the full 9iAS server (instead of just Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE [OC4J]), you have to use Enterprise Manager or DCM to deploy your application.
In JDev 9.0.3 Preview, there is a way to have JDev perform a deployment via DCM for you, if you install a DCM Servlet into 9iAS that comes with JDeveloper.
By JDev 9.0.3 Production, if you also use Oracle9iAS 9.0.3 Production, it should be possible to deploy to iAS 9.0.3 out-of-the-box.

I agree with Erland. You need to verify and specify the correct path for the error log in Startup parameters.
For example: -eC:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.n\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG
To configure startup options
1.In SQL Server Configuration Manager, click SQL Server Services.
2.In the right pane, right-click SQL Server (<instance_name>), and then click Properties.
3.On the Startup Parameters tab, in the Specify a startup parameter box, type the parameter, and then click Add.
For example, to start in single-user mode, type -m in the Specify a startup parameter box and then click Add. (When you restart SQL Server in single-user mode, stop the SQL Server Agent. Otherwise, SQL Server Agent might connect first and prevent you from
connecting as a second user.)
4. Click OK.
5.Restart the Database Engine.

ITunes got an error: An error of type 9037 has occurred

My playlist sometimes produces this error on play from a Applescript:
"iTunes got an error: An error of type 9037 has occurred"
It happens if it is a smart playlist or a playlist. I thought it may be due a bad podcast reference as there was one mp3 podcast file that couldn't be found.
Any assistance in how to solve this or how to investigate further would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I think that the 'file specication' problem is another story and is not the cause of error -10661 because kLSExecutableIncorrectFormat is to be thrown BEFORE the script is run.
As for 'file specification' (typeFSS), it has been deprecated under OSX.
Perhaps 10.6 has finished it.
Instead you can use 'POSIX file' (typeFileURL) or 'file' (typeFile) for both existing and non-existing file system object. And 'alias' (typeAlias) for existing file system object.
(Note that 'file' (typeFile) cannot be used by itself for some reason but only in conjunction with command.)
For example, if you're using 'file specification' for 'open for access' command such as -
set hfspath to "HFS:path:to:new file"
set fss to hfspath as file specification -- # 'file specification' (typeFSS) is deprecated
open for access fss with write permission
you may use 'file' such as -
set hfspath to "HFS:path:to:new file"
--set f to hfspath as file -- # you cannot do this for some reason
--set f to file hfspath -- # NG either
open for access file hfspath with write permission -- # 'file' (typeFile) is OK in command parameter
or 'POSIX file' such as -
set posixpath to "/POSIX/path/to/new file"
set furl to posixpath as POSIX file -- # 'POSIX file' (typeFileURL) is OK
open for access furl with write permission

I required to take backup with out using TSM .
we have got error in TSM . so that i am getting error .
Prod server backup is working automated through TSM .
now i need to take Online backup with out using TSM like DEV and QA (Manual backup) .
For DEV and QA server backup is manual . i am simply moved the tape to tape library and fired the online backup as well same QA also .
Now my query is reqiured to take backup with out the help of TSM in PROD server . Is it possible ?
2 profiles are configured for Online backup and offline backup .
pls check the below profiles .

Your backup is from a different version of Microsoft SharePoint Foundation and cannot be restored to a server running the current version. The backup file should be restored to a server with version '14.0.0.6106' or later

while Restoring a Site Collection from a different server i got below error in SharePoint 2010.

According to your post, my understanding is that you get an error when you restore a site collection from a different server in SharePoint 2010.
I recommend that you can try to click the “KB2536599” for SharePoint 2010 version 14.0.0.6106 to download the patch from the following links and install the patch in your environment.

How to restore a database backup taken from a SQL Server 2012 instance to SQL Server 2014

I am trying to restore a database backup taken from a SQL Server 2012 instance to my new SQL Server 2014 instance. When I add the .bak through the Mgmt studio UI, it does not seem to find a backup set in the file so I cannot proceed (does not give
me any errors though either. I tried restoring through TSQL command but only got a database restore terminating abnormally error with no other details. How can I restore this database to SQL 2014?
