Convert SAPScript text linse to normal stream text format

Hi Gurus.
We have a custom popup FM that displays text lines from a file provided by SAPScript text format.. (after u2018call function u2018READ_TEXTu2019).
However, for example, the Tab indent markers in this text u2013 represented by two commas u2018,,u2019 are printing instead of spaces representing the indent in our popup.
We are searching a FM that takes the SAPScript text format and converts it to plain text format (before our Z_popup is called) where the Tab markers are replaced by spaces (in our case this is four spaces for each Tab mark).
We have already tried FMu2019s: CONVERT_text; CONVERT_ITF_TO_STREAM_TEXT; CONVERT_ITF_TO_STREAM_TEXT. But none of them seem to fulfill the requirements stated above.
Can anyone please advice?

Instead of searching for FM you can manually code which is flexible.
"after gettting text from READ_TEXT in lt_tline.
Data: lt_string type table of string,
         lv_string type string.
CONSTANTS: c_par TYPE char2 VALUE ',,'. " Sign for tabs
LOOP AT lt_tline INTO wa_tline.
       CONCATENATE lv_string wa_tline-tdline INTO lv_string SEPARATED BY ' '.
       REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF c_par   IN lv_string WITH ' '.
        Append lv_string to lt_string. "if needed in string table
ENDLOOP.

Mail.app - Moving email with attachment to a subfolder causes the email to convert to text format and lose the attachment

I am Lion on Mac Book pro.
When I move a mail with attachement to a folder, sometimes, it loses its mime-type and becomes a text formatted message. Hence the contents of the attachments are added as text to the mail and I cannot download the attachments then.
This does not happen always, but almost 3/10 times.

What type of mail account is this (POP, IMAP, .Mac)? If IMAP or .Mac, what are your Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors > Drafts settings?
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network, choose Network Port Configurations from the Show popup menu, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list. Turn OFF all the port configurations except the one needed to connect to Internet and see whether that helps — if it doesn’t, turn ON again the ones you want enabled.
Open Keychain Access > Keychain First Aid and verify/repair the keychain.
Try also turning OFF the Search For Certificates options in Keychain Access > Preferences if any of them is ON — take a look at the following articles for more information on this particular issue:

Using File Content Conversion converting XML format to text format

Can anybody let me know the solution for how to convert CLOB data into normal Text.In my case the table column having CLOB datatype and the data is in html format.when i run the report the column is displaying html tags .Now i need to convert that html tags into normal text.

LONG has been depricated since 8i so I don't believe there is a general solution to go backwards short of reloading the data.

You cannot convert HTML to sapscript/smart form. But you can convert sap script/smart form to HTML form using CL_WD_FORMATTED_TEXT class.
There is no such provision given by SAP to convert HTML to other formats.

SSRS report - A single selection dropdown list converted to text box

Hello everyone,
We created a single selection dropdown parameter (City parameter) on a report. The data in this parameter is populated using MDX query. Also, it is filtered based on selection of another single selection dropdown list (Country parameter) of a report.
The problem is when there is no cities for the selected country the dropdown list is gets converted to free type text box and user can insert city data in it. Why SSRS is not keeping it as empty dropdown list with no data?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Regarding parameter settings on General tab for both the above parameters we did not select any of the following values, all these checkboxes are empty:
Allow Blank Value ("") , Allow null value, Allow multiple values.
I think it has something related to [Measures].[Amt] that we used in customer parameter. We are now trying to take other two parameters where we would be not using the [Measures].[Amt] to filter the data. Will update you soon.

I need to convert a text file (in whatever format, in my case it would be xml and xsl files) in a String.
I made this methods:

There are no compilation or runtime errors, but the result string is empty. Not null, empty. What should I do? :)

Do you really want to use bytes and so on when java does it all for you?

Convert mm/dd/yyyy text format to date format

I imported a csv file and the date column is in text format. How do I convert it from m/d/yyyy text format to yyyy-mm-dd DATE format in Numbers v 3.1?

UPDATE: I found that your formula didnt produce the correct result
It changed mm/dd/yyyy to yyyy/dd/mm — rather than the desired yyyy/mm/dd
By hacking at it, I found that changing the D column formulas around fixed this.
Your original function:
D2=RIGHT(A2,4)&"-"&MID(A2, B2+1, C2−B2−1)&"-"&LEFT(A2,B2−1)
Changed:
D2 =RIGHT(A2,4)&"-"&LEFT(A2,B2−1)&"-"&+MID(A2, B2+1, C2−B2−1)

Setting Font for converting multiple text files into PDF using VB 6.0

We didn't say it doesn't work. We said it isn't supported.
There are a number of other ways to make a PDF. The one which would
give the most control is if your application directly printed to GDI,
controlling the font directly. This could print to Adobe PDF.
You could look for an application that gives control of font for
printing.
You could use a text-to-PostScript system and distill the result. You
could even look for a non-Adobe text-to-PDF.
Working in the unsupported and dangerous world you chose, the font
size for text conversion is set (and this is very bad design from
Adobe) in the settings for Create PDF > From Web Page. There is no API
to this.

The reason you are getting void is because after converting
it from a
string, what you have left is not a properly formatted list.
I think
you just need to add a closing square bracket at the end and
then it

If I convert this to Numeric means it takes the decimals also as whole value.

I am on an SRM sytem, which unfortunately does not have th FM: PSSV_TEXT_INTO_FIELD_CURRENCY.
But I also need to transfer a string value like '12,99' to a field with type curr.
Can i Do that manually, or is there another FM?
I have already checked code with write to or pack/unpack.
But without success yet.
Something like this:
DATA: g_str(11) type c.
DATA: g_p type p.
WRITE '12,99' TO g_str CURRENCY 'EUR'.
is no use for me. Finally I need to move g_str to my curr-field, which causes st22.
also: PACK g_str to <curr-field or g_p> dumps.
Help appreciated.
