Converting from Actuate Reports to Oracle BI Publisher fails

Hi,
I'm trying to convert a Actuate report to BIP. The below mentioned error is being displayed.

I'm able to convert other reports except for one. Sorry for the delayed response. I have raised an SR 3-1016713021 regarding the same in the support web.

Simple answer, there is NO easy way to convert them.. You will have to get the layout from your crystal report file, then get a copy of data to test query to build data is returned in proper sequence to replicate report.
If you were converting from Oracle Reports to BI Publisher, then you would have it easier..
Just be happy you are not where I was 2 years ago.. I had over *600* crystal version 8 report files and started looking at converting them to BI Publisher...

Create a an Table of content or an Index page in report in Oracle BI Publisher

I want to create an Index page for my multi page report in Oracle BI Publisher. Any help would be appreciated.
I am using MS word 2010 for creating the template (*.rtf file). Please let me know if any more details are required.
I am creating a rtf template for generating a report in oracle BI Publisher. The report displays the details for all the products used by the customer. Report contains 1 product per page. All the products have same template.
What I want is to create an Index page, which displays the product name and the page number of the report in which it is generated.
For eg. Customer Papa Johns uses 10 products. The report generated will contain below details: 1st Page -> Cover Page containing Basic details of customer.
2nd Page -> Index page containing the product names and the page numbers
3rd page: Product 1 details
4th page: Product 2 Details .
and so on.

i think there is no option to run FSG reports from BI Publsiher, as FSG reports are defined in Oracle EBS Financials suite.
but you can take xml file and run it from desktop based on rtf file

Hi,
We did mysql to oracle migration some time back and played with workbench tool and many other softwares available.
However our experience was not so good with these tools, each tool had its own limitation and was not able to migrate 100% data. Even the speed of migration was too slow which would have violated our production SLAs.
So after spending a month with these tools we finally decided to create our own scripts for data migration. We used tools like TOAD and SQL Yok to create the DDL for the tables and other DB objects.
For the data migration we downloaded the mysql data in flat files and used sql loader to upload the same data in oracle. Even if this was a time consuming activity but this resulted in 100% data migration with no record getting failed and the time taken for this activity was around 6 Hrs in comparison to time of 24-28 Hrs that the workbench tool took.

Unable to convert from "UTF-8" during oracle upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.6, while running the runInstaller, am getting the following error:
ERROR: Unable to convert from "UTF-8" to "ISO-8859-1" for NLS!
SuSE-7, redhat-2.1AS, redhat-2.1, UnitedLinux-1.0, redhat-3 or SuSE-8

But i am getting message 'make sure the path or internet address is correct' .
Please let me know what are the attributes used to create hyperlink.

Hello,
The syntax is correct (except the & after the ?)
You are using a "relative URL" . It means the browser will use the protocol , server and port from the current page in order to build a full URL
(full URL = <protocol>://<server>:<port>/reports/rwservlet?report=test&destype=cache&desformat=html)

If the table tblmtk for example, there are three rows like this:
