Converting recorded webinar to MP4

Forgive me if I'm in the wrong place, in which case please redirect me.
I'm helping some associates who have recently conducted a webinar with WebEx (I have no idea about the services they're subscribed to).
They then provided a link for people to watch the recording they created, which was recorded through features that WebEx provides. The recorded playback viewer is small -- it's a few inches wide and is the same width as the control panel (proper term?) that shows the names of all the attendees etc. The viewer is underneath the control panel.
They want to be able to provide it in a larger format for their audience.
I recorded the event with Camtasia Studio and am prepared to provide it to them from that recording.
However, I see that WebEx offers a process whereby the hosts can convert their recording to MP4 format. I believe this would be the procedure:
      https://support.webex.com/MyAccountWeb/knowledgeBase.do?root=Tools&parent=Knowledge
      Search for article ID: WBX54330
Assuming they have the ability to do what it describes, can you please tell me if the result will be a larger format than the small video they're sharing now and, if so, how big it can be?
And, if it will be larger, are there any additional insights you can point me to so that I can help guide them? And can you maybe please help me explain to them how to obtain the minimum subscription level that's needed?
And is there any chance I can do that converting for them on my end? (I'm a PC user. They're on Mac.) I have nothing but the entry-level registrations. What else would I need?
Thanks so much!

If the file would even be able to be converted, you could probalby watch it.

  • 16:40 time on recorded webinar after uploading

    When I take a recorded webinar offline and then upload it to our web site for playback, the video now shows 16:40 at the end of the bar. The actual video recording is longer, (over 40 minutes) and it plays back the whole thing, but it shows 16:40 at the end of the bar of the player.
    We've tried different players and still no luck. This only started with Adobe connect 9- our 8 videos show the correct length on the bar at the bottom.

    I did not report it. The wait time for support was 50 minutes +.
    We are just converting the recording to an mp4 in order to be able to post it on our own video player.
    But getting a lot of problems with video/audio syncing even prior to conversion and during the live webinar. I've done just about everything to get a good connection during the live webinar and other suggestions I've seen on the forums. Then it gets worse when you convert.

  • Is there any way I can convert a song in MP4 format to MP3 so it will play on my car radio?

    How can I convert a song in MP4 format to MP3 format so it will play on my car radio?

    Yes, go to Preferences in iTunes, set the Import setting under the General tab to use MP3. Then select the tracks you want to convert, now you should see a choice in the File menu called 'Create New Version' with a sub-choice of MP3.

    Great hearing for you all! I thought I was all alone this past weekend. I did learn a lot this weekend. I really like the InDesign product.(half-the-battle) But to be helped by the prestigious “Sandee Cohen” was an honor indeed.”  I ordered the InDesign CC today.  Peter, I appreciate all the feedback on Lynda too. They are loaded with lots of good videos. Derek too honed in on one of the most important aspects!  Since I have been working with Word for most of the first portion of the book this will be a big help. I looked at the comments big help ! Thanks a ton ALL!  Have a wonder day or evening whenever you read this reply.

  • Bad performance of video convertion from .avi to .mp4

    I use QT Pro v7.0.3 to convert avi video to mp4. The mp4 quality is bad. I am unsure if mp4 movie is bad in quality or QT Pro is bad in convertion. As iPod selects to support mp4 video, the quality should be of an acceptable one, otherwise, it just damages iPod reputation. It is my first time to watch mp4 video but the impression is not to bother at all - worse than vCD. Is there any one using mp4 video? Any comments!
    Thanks,
    Ray

    I set my QT avi to mp4 conversion to 2500 kbits/sec, current image size, current frame rate, and it's still worse than the original avi. FAR worse.
    I've given up on encoding my avi's to play from my iPod. It just stinks, so I'm not sure what to tell ya... just that you are not alone in your observation. They look OK for play on the iPod, but playing from the iPod to anything else, like say a TV, it's not worth it. It seems to be better to just play the avi via some other means on the TV, because the conversion is seriously sub par.

  • Is there any way to convert recorded actions into JSX Javascript file?

    For photoshop, there's http://ps-scripts.sourceforge.net/xtools.html (scroll down to "ActionFileToJavascript") which can convert recorded photoshop actions into jsx. Is there any such resource for Illustrator?

    AppleScript is able to script many things in the GUI.
    The problem is it becomes version specific when they move stuff about.
    CS6 can evoke some menus but is limited to those with keyboard shortcuts.
    CS6 also got action calls added... ( to JS )
    No nothing like action manager code exists in AI. ( a big shame )
    PS has a plug-in to record your steps...
    Giving you access to a whole range of app features beyond the regular DOM.
    Only today X has posted that that he's hanging up his boots here...

  • HT204382 How to convert VOB files into MP4 ? Tks

    Hi, anyone knows how to convert VOB files into MP4 ones ?

    The procedure is dated and I will assume that the DVD is not copy-protected since discussion of such things is verboten.

  • How do you convert a swf or mp4 file into flv using creative cloud programs?

    I am trying to embed a video as HTML5 with Flash fallback into my Dreamwaver site and only have the swf file of the video.
    Please let me know if you have any ideas about how to convert a swf or mp4 file into flv, without loosing pixels and quality of the swf file.
    Thank you!

    If you have MP4 video, you can use Pickle Player which has built-in Flash fallback for Mozilla.  No conversions required .

  • Error in Job created to convert assest content to MP4 format in Windows Azure Media Service

    Hi,
    I am have created application which create media service channel and use Wirecast for live streaming on the channel. once event is completed video should be available for downloading.
    I have created job to convert asset content to MP4 format, job is created but with error:
    AssetFile's name doesn't match the blob file name, the AssetFile's name is not well formed or the blob file is not present in the Asset's container.
    Below is the code for job creation:
     var outputAsset = _context.Assets.Where(p => p.Name == "Demo18032015_DefaultProgram").FirstOrDefault();
                IAsset encodedAsset =
                    EncodeToAdaptiveBitrateMP4s(outputAsset, AssetCreationOptions.None);
    static public IAsset EncodeToAdaptiveBitrateMP4s(IAsset asset, AssetCreationOptions options)
                // Prepare a job with a single task to transcode the specified asset
                // into a multi-bitrate asset.
                IJob job = _context.Jobs.CreateWithSingleTask(
                    MediaProcessorNames.AzureMediaEncoder,
                    MediaEncoderTaskPresetStrings.H264AdaptiveBitrateMP4Set720pForiOSCellularOnly,
                    asset,
                    "fdemo18032015defaultprogram",
                    options);
                Console.WriteLine("Submitting transcoding job...");
                // Submit the job and wait until it is completed.
                job.Submit();
                job = job.StartExecutionProgressTask(
                    j =>
                        Console.WriteLine("Job state: {0}", j.State);
                        Console.WriteLine("Job progress: {0:0.##}%", j.GetOverallProgress());
                    CancellationToken.None).Result;
                Console.WriteLine("Transcoding job finished.");
                IAsset outputAsset = job.OutputMediaAssets[0];
                return outputAsset;
     Here I am first searching asset in content where video is stored and then creating job.
    I am using windowsazure.mediaservices version="3.1.0.1" and windowsazure.mediaservices.extensions version="2.0.0.3" dll.
    Please help me with the issue.

    The error is as expected - the on-demand encoders in our service (Azure Media Encoder, etc.) do not yet support handling of input Assets that are archives from a live stream.
    However, we are close to shipping an update to our service that will provide such support. Please watch out for our blog posts in http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/topics/media-services/

  • Homemade movies with chapters question? I have numerous VHS movies converted to DVD and then are converting the DVDs into MP4 via HandBrake.  I am now trying to find the chapters within the converted DVDS with no luck using QuickTime 7.  Help plz.

    How do I find the chapters within a Homemade DVD when it has been converted via Handbrake to MP4 and editing ready on Quicktime Player.  I want to get chapters only out of the movie that has 23 chapters so I can edit one chapter at a time. .  Found it once when it said divide into chapters (or something like this) , but can't find it again.  Thanks for the help.

    How do I find the chapters within a Homemade DVD when it has been converted via Handbrake to MP4 and editing ready on Quicktime Player.
    If you included the chapter information originally contained on the DVD as part of your HandBrake conversion, then it will be located in the "Text" track of your converted file. Did you actually check the "Chapters" tab in HandBrake before converting the DVD content to ensure the chapters were to be included in final export? I.e., not all HandBrake presets automatically include a "Text" (Chapter) track.

  • Converting record albums to digital format and importing to iTunes

    I'm trying to convert record albums to digital format using a USB turntable and import the tracks to iTunes.  I have upgraded to the latest versions of software for the turntable and iTunes (10.5), but keep getting a message "unable to export to iTunes."  When iTunes opens up, it indicates that it is converting a temp file (e.g., temp6) rather than the individual tracks.
    Confession:  I did something really dumb that may well have contributed to my problem.  The first time I started using the turntable, I recorded the album side; typed in the artist, album, and names of individual tracks; and clicked on the button to begin the export to iTunes.  When the iTunes windows opened up, things seemed to be working well.  I could see the individual tracks listed as they were being converted.  Then, a popup screen came up asking if I wanted to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes (I didn't have the 10.5 version at the time).  I temporarily lost control of my body (and mind) and clicked on yes.  This halted the conversion in process and I have never been able to get things working again, despite uninstalling and then reinstalling both the turntable software and iTunes software (including iTunes, Quicktime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, and Apple Application Support).
    I would really appreciate some help with this!

    Do not use the "export to..." feature.  Let the conversion program create a file in an iTunes compatible format (such as WAV, AAC, or MP3) and then add that file to iTunes.
