Copy data directly from service order to sales quotation

I know the process to create the sales quotation from service order in customer interaction center but my query is that is there a way that data should be directly copied from the service notification to the service order to the quotation because I have entered the data completly in the notification .Entring the data again and again make mistakes .

look for the BADIS that get triggered when you save the notification. if you find any BADI, then you can create new implementation for it and you can write the code. you can use CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to create service order inside that new implementation.

Text Flow from service order to requisition

Hi Everyone,
I having a problem regarding text flow from service orders IW31/IW32 to requisition ME53N.
I created/updated a service order in IW31/IW32 and enter some text in "Operation Short Text" column. When I release the service order the short text should ideally be reflected in purchase requisition. What's happening right now is that "If the length of text entered in IW32 is more than 40 characters then the text is reflected in requisition ME53N otherwise any updates to this column text are not reflected in ME53N".
I debugged ME53N and found that it gets the value of text using READ_TEXT so I hope the same is stored in standard text while saving IW31/IW32. I checked the text also which is created after saving Iw32 and it contains changed data only if the length of the data is more than 40 characters.
To me it looks like standard SAP process that the text will flow from service order to purchase requisition only if the data length is more than 40 characters. If anyone has any idea can you please share. Is there any sugesstion for correcting this. Any reason or OSS.

my situation is:
- a WM managed warehouse, society A;
- a HU managed warehouse (without WM), society B;
- a purchasing process of HU from society A towards society B.
Society B have a scheduling agreement; when a delivery schedule appears, in society A born a sales order and a delivery. After the registration of the delivery good issue, an idoc transfer information for inbound delivery creation.
This process is ok without WM, but with a WM managed warehouse the idoc has the following problem:
"V51VP - item was not found - process cancelled".
Can you help me to transfer these HU?

Here Created folloup activity from service order in web ui.....In folloup activity after click the SAVEANDBACK then opend the serviceorder.....but i added the data in folloup activity... that data not refresh in serviceorder transaction.....if i opened agin same service oreder that time .. the folloup activity data apper in service order.....after click the SAVEANDBACK button in folloup activity that not refershing the values in service order..

Is ATP check possible in Service Order for Sales Item?

Hi All,
My question, is ATP check possible in Service Order for Sales Item? My requirement is that when i create a service order in the web UI with a sales item and drill down to the item level, i see the schedule lines assignment block but w/o any Confirming date, so i want to know whether the ATP check is happening or not. For example wen i create a sales order in web UI with a sales item and drill down into the item level, the schedule line AB shows me the Confirming date checking the ATP. But this is not happening in case of service order. So kindly suggest the reason and clarify my query. Thanks

While settling service order to sales order via KO88, our Product Costs settled to one secondary cost element say-962100 & Labor Costs settled to secondary cost elemnt-say 968000. We need to pass journal entry for transfer labour cost to GL account manually.
Do we have any option to post enrty to GL account"salaries & wages" at the time of settlement itself.

I would like to describe the question in detail:-
We have a client requirement in one of business scenario of   u201CService order to sales order settlementu201D:-
Business Scenario:
Customer sends goods for repair to us. We create a repair sales order and on saving the sales order u2013 it creates a service order.
Goods are issued and labor costs are booked on the service order.
Item is repaired and we bill the customer.
At the month end,
-     we settle the material cost and labor cost to repair sales order (hence matching cost with revenue from management books view)
-     we settle repair sales order to COPA.
Question/Issue:
When the labor cost is booked on the service order, the cost center gets the credit and costs are debited to the service order. However, from accounting perspective, the costs are still sitting on the SALARIES AND WAGES GL account.
What we need is to make an accounting entry for this labor cost to COGS u2013 OTHERS for all such labor cost booked.
How can we achieve this?

Are you referring to Assembl;;y processing ?... You can create service order from Sales Order, but you cannot create proejct from Service order automatically.

You can trigger a confirmation from service order using action profile.
Here is how to define action profile:
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Actions > Actions in Transaction
Dialog Stucture> Action profile:
Object type = BUS2000116
Context class = CL_DOC_CONTEXT_CRM_ORDER
Dialog Stucture> Action Definition:
Processing time: Processing using selection report
Check box schedule automatically, Changeable in dialog and executable in dialog.
Dialog Stucture> Processing types
Permitted processing types of actions: Select - Method Call
Settings method call: Method - COPY_DOCUMENT (you can also try COPY_DEF_ITEMS)
Processing Parameter:
-Select change icon a new window opens - container editor
-select create icon another window opens - display container editor
Here enter following:
Element = PROCESS_TYPE
Name = PROCESS_TYPE
short desp = PROCESS_TYPE
Tab > Dtype:
Structure = CRMC_PROC_TYPE

Here maintain the transaction type of your confirmation.
save your action profile. Now assign action profile to Service oder transaction type.

Picking data directly from ALV List

HI experts !
I have a scenario in which the client is executing some tcodes ( Some hourly, some daily , some weekly, ome monthly ) and all the data gets displayed in alv list . The requirement is that is it possible for XI to pick that data directly from alv and update the data base?
OR
If the above case is not possible then the client is thinking of putting the data in a spool and then by running some program they fetch the data ?
Guide me on this ? how to execute such scenario?

Create and outbound interface with needed datatypes and message types. Create a client proxu for this.
Create a report, which gets all these data in to internal tables and then call the client proxy from XI. You can have whatever adapter on the receiver side..

Is it possible to select an area on a graph and to delete data directly from it?

Hi,as written in the message subject, I'm interesting in the possibility of delete data directly from a graph, using two cursors on the x-axis, or selecting directly an area.
In fact I don't know how to link the cursor position to the data position in an array, in fact if I'm able to do this, I can use the cursors to select an interval on the x-axis and then with the help of a control on the front panel, delete the data from the array, and obtain a new graph without the selected area.

I'm assuming from your question that you have an XY graph built from an array, and I'm also assuming the array is sorted by the X axis.
Create a property node for the graph (Right-click on the terminal and select Create>>Property node). Now you can either select the Cursor>>Cursor position and Cursor>>Active cursor properties to get the coordinates of the cursor(s), or you can select the Cursor List property to get an array of clusters that holds the data for all the cursors. Assuming you only have two cursors, you can use a for loop and place an Unbundle by name VI in it to get the cursor position. Now that you have the positions for both cursors, go back to the original array and remove the data that's between these values.

As per the process, we create service quotation from service order using the transaction DP80. I can get the service order number from the quotation (VBAK-AUFNR). But I need to get this quotation number from service order or service notification (it is updated in the document flow). Could you please help me?

Hi,
One option I used in the past is to call FM RV_ORDER_FLOW_INFORMATION and then analyze the result given from this FM.
Do a Where-Used List search for this FM and you will find some examples in standard SAP.
It can be somewhat challenging to understand the outcome but I can can be done.
I assume you want to analyze this after the service quotation has been created. If not then use available User Exits for the RRB processing creation. Search for RRB and consulting in SAP Notes.
