Error while copying GL Accounts from One Client to another client

Hi,
We are trying to copy GL accounts created in one client to another client (Company Code is same in both the clients). First we executed FS15 (send) and a file was created on the server. With the help of BASIS team we checked that file and it contained the required values. However, when we are doing FS16 (receive) we are getting following OK messages:
File /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global/FBISABC is being checked
Session 1 session name RFBISA20 : No terminations have been found
However, at the same time we are getting following error message:
File name FI_COPY_COMPANY_CODE_DATA_FOR_GENERAL_LEDGER_0X is unknown
Message no. SG001
Diagnosis
No entry was found in the conversion table for the logical file name FI_COPY_COMPANY_CODE_DATA_FOR_GENERAL_LEDGER_0X.
Procedure
Add an entry to the conversion table for the logical file name. Maintain the conversion table with the transaction SM30.
Can someone please advice is there something wrong that we are doing for copying GL accounts from one client to another client.

Did you check the batch-input? SM35
It could have happend that there was a mistake in the batch-input data and that the destination file has not been written. If this has not been written it could not be found. (I.E. you tried to transport G/L Accounts with deletion flags but did activate the checkbox "Transfer deletion ****").
There is another point: Did you activate the box "Datei nur prüfen" (English: Check file only)? If this box is activated the programm will check if the batch-input-file will be written without mistakes but it will not write the file. Only if the checkbox is not activated the batch-input-file will be written. (the same with FS16).

While copying an account plan with status "draft" we are getting a dump. The dump is as follows:
Cannot display view BTPARTNER/PartnerOV of UI Component BTPARTNER
An exception has occurred Exception Class CX_CRM_MKTIB_COLLECTION - Item with Key 4C98822D7FC00029E100800024531A89 does not exist

Import Format: Copy source account into UD1

The Source G/L Account is used for both the HFM Account and HFM UD1 (Custom1). The mapping for FM Accounts and FM UD1 is set-up based on the GL Accounts. UD1 is not included in the GL extract file.
How can I easy copy source Account into UD1 through the import format that can be used for several locations with different import formats?
Example:
GL Account: 1000 -> HFM account: 1000 > HFM UD1: FinS
GL Account: 3000 -> HFM account: ctrl_Logic -> HFM UD1: Stat
Currently I use for UD1 a script like DW.Utilities.fParseString(strRecord,4,2) to do that and it works. Unfortuntely I have at least many different locations with different import formats that would require this script to be adjusted for each import format.

Good day
To get this working for different import format layouts you need to make use of the Res.PVarTemp1,,5 FDM variables, you can store information between different fields in the import fields. There are also workarounds if you need to store more than 5 values.
So you need to create two scripts, the TempPut is attached to the account import field and the TempGet is attached to the UD1 import field
Function TempPut(strField, strRecord)
Res.PvarTemp1 = strfield
TempPut = strfield
End Function
Function TempGet(strField, strRecord)
TempGet= Res.PVarTemp1
End Function

I want to copy all my GL accounts (which created centrally) to another Chart of Accounts at COA level only(FSPO).
Can any one help how to copy GL Accounts at COA Level.

Please go to OBY7. Enter the COA and Ref COA. All your GL from Ref COA will get copied in newly created COA.

Hello all,
We have created a new company code and now I'm looking for a transaction code that allows me to copy GL accounts from one company code to another company code.
I'm looking for a transaction that has the flexibility to exclude GL accounts as I don't want to copy all the GL accounts from one company to another company code.

To copy GL master records from one company code to another with in same client use t code OBY2, if it is from one client to another run the following programs in SA38
RFBISA10 in the source company code and
RFBISA20 in the target company code.

How to copy one account preferences into another account on the same mac?

I would like to open a new account (on the same mac) but would like to copy some preferences including software from the existing account. How can I do that?

To copy files from Account A to Account B:
1. Log in as A.
2. Find the files you wish to copy.
3. Move them to /Users/A/Public. Don't move your actual Documents, Pictures, Library etc folders. Just move their contents.
4. Log in as B.
5. Navigate with Finder to /Users/A/Public.
6. Drag the files to the desktop to make new copies of them.
7. Put the files away in the appropriate places in B's home folder.
8. Log back in as A and move the files in /Users/A/Public back to their original locations.

ABAP+JAVA System Copy -- Administrator account getting locked

I am in the process of doing system copy of my portal to a new server. As per the SAP instructions, I had updated the JDK and SP levels of my EP to the latest supported ones.
Now when i am doing JAVA Add-in Export of my system, SAPinst is throwing error that --
"Error connecting to http://Entportal:50000/sap/monitoring/SystemInfoServlet. The provided user data might be incorrect or user might be locked.:
and when I check the "administrator" user account, it is getting locked. Even though I manually unlock it and update the password is secure storage, still when I run SAPinst, again it is getting locked. I have also chnged the path of my temporary directory to c:\temp which has no spacees in it, according to SAP instructions.
I have raised the issue through OSS, but still, in the mean time can sombody help me?

I am not using any ID. SAPInst itself is trying to access systeminformationservlet using administrator account. at this stage it is failing to get the correct password and thats why my administrator account is getting locked.

Copy Express/ Account Segmentation

Dear All,
Am trying to make a duplicate of a Database by using copy express. Note that the Chart of Account is segmented. I have managed to copy everything using copy express except the Accounts . The title Accounts are being copied but no active account is being copied. If I view the log file after the copy express process, I can see Invalid Code in the error field.
Anyone having the same issue and managed to solve it

Copy of Account Assignment Data from PR to PO in ECC 5.0

Hi,
In our ECC 5 instance, Account assignment data from PR to PO is not getting copied when we create a Purchase Order in ME21N transaction. Where as the same is being copied when PO is being created with ME21 transaction.
Ex: PR created with Acc Assignment Q, when we create PO with reference to PR in ME21N transaction, this account assignment data is not getting copied to PO. Where as this is no so, when we create PO in ME21 transaction.
Can you please specify any pointers for this copy control problem.

hi,
please check for the following points:
1. check in ME21N, are referncing properly or not...
You have to reference it via using the document overview ON or directly entering the PR as source document for the PO...
2. check whether is getting properly saved in the table EBAN/EBKN...check it in SE16...you can check as per the document number...
3. If nothing is helping you from the above two points check with the ABAP and BASIS consultant...

BAPI for copying an Accounting Document

Hi,
I have to copy an existing accounting document and create a New Accounting document.
For creating i will use BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.
If there is a function module for this, please suggest.
Please let me know how to copy the existing accntg document??

try passing obj_key with your source document number in
BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.
I am not sure whether that will work or not.
The round about way will be select the document details FI tables and pass it BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.

Copy admin account

I run into problems with some apps, e.g. Keychain Access and iCal. So I am thinking of creating a new admin account for myself. To make a new start from scratch, so to speak.
What is the easiest way to do so? I mean including all the data, docs, images a.s.o. from my old user account?

Copy (cc) account

i have a customer that wants to configure a mailbox that will receive a copy of any message sent to any user in their domain. I could simply modify each user account and set it to forward to this "copy account mailbox" for auditing and archival but the user could disable this via the web mail interface. My client does not want a user within this company to be able to disable the cc.
is their a way for me to do this at a lower level.. and have it only apply to his specific domain?

i found an old message in the forums that discusses this.. it was from 2004.. but i am still nt 100% clear.
it is acceptable to save the messages to a text file.. instead of actually copying them to a different account.. and they are mainly concerned about inbound messages to the users.. but also handling outbound would be great.
Jay - can you post an updated example on what i would add to my mappings file to capture both inbound and outbound mesaages and save them to a text file for a given domain? Really appreciate your help.

GOA copy without Account items

Hi experts
i'd like to know why if i make e GOA copy with standard FM (BBP_PD_CTR_CREATE, BBP_PD_CTR_UPDATE) Account item details are not copied.
Fields G/L account or Cost center ...and so on ... are blank!
Is this the standard way? Is there a soution in order to copy also this data?
