Copying std f.m to zf.m.

while copying the std., f.m PT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE to zPT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE then while checking its
giving some error and no perform statements are copied is there any other way to do this.,.,

Hi Thirukumaran,
You need to consider below points while making a copy of FM.
First , FM is not independent but depends on Function Group which contains other FM also.
so in first go copy FM with its Function group.
Now carefully , delete the unnecessary part from the various includes of the Function group.
You can also delete the other unnecessary FM's avaliable in Function group.
Also, you need to do extended program check to eliminate unnecessary declarations and code.

I want to copy std. Fiori app (Create sales order - SD_SO_CRE) into my new Z (I don't want to modify the standard one), but I realized that there is no starting point, because Fiori app is started from Launchpad, so what I need to add? I think I need Index.html + App.controller.js + App.view.js...does anyone have these files prepared for std. Fiori applications to get them worked without Launchpad?

Hi Jili,
The standalone parameter is available from UI Add-on SP09 with SAPUI5 library 1.22.3.
It hides some of buttons.
You can start your extended app by changing application alias in the target mapping.

The URL is same but extended app is launched.

Copy STD BAPI to ZBAPI

I am trying to copy std BAPI to custom one and modify based on my requirements.
When I copy some of the includes are not getting copied and I am getting syntax error .

Copy std wbs element in operative project & copy material components to SO

Dear Friend's
As i know following things not possible in std. sap ps. Still i would like to know is there any possibility to acheive same in std. sap ps.
1) I have created one std. project template, which is made for standardise Projects. Here we can copy same template for operative Projects. But my client having a requirement like they wanted to just copy a Single Std. WBS Element of any level from that std. project template to create operative project...can is it possible in std. sap ps.
2) Can is it possible in std. sap ps to copy the material component (like fert, halb, roh, hibe, hawa etc.) which we have planned in Project Builder to Sales Order.
3) In std. sap ps we can handle projects through multiple plants & multiple business area's. In my scenario cross plant & cross business area material's is supplied to any particular project. so same way can we create Sales Order for multiple plants & multiple busniess area's.

Copy Std template

Hello Experts,
I have created std structures and trying to copy part of it into an operative project. While doing so I am copying with another company code. After this I am mass chaging all org data for the new part of structure. But the Network header still reatins the company code of Project definition and is not editable. How can I change this one also? Pls guide me.

Have you tried creating a seperate standard structure for the company code. Instead of changing the project again and again, just keep another standard structure ready so that you dont have to use the mass change time and again.

Problem in copying std function module

Hi friends,
I have this std function module .
MS_PURCHASE_ORDER_REPORTING
i copied it to ZMS_PURCHASE_ORDER_REPORTING,till here everthing fine. In above std fm in tables tab we have
po_xdata like srv_mdrv.
i want to change it to po_xdata like zsrv_mdrv.
I mean i created one view zsrv_mdrv, so i want to replace above std one with my view.
when i try to copy im gettign error as:
tables paramete are absolete.
Please help me out ,its very urgent.

I created my own view, in that i have some fields which are not in srv_modrv view.
this zsrv_modrv has to be add in place of srv_modrv in function module which i have changed to zfunction module.
something im gettign tables parameters are obsolete something.
even i tried with by changing parameter name and seen, then also its not taking..

Message no. 5W023
Diagnosis
Tasks, rules, and workflow definitions require an ID that is unique throughout all systems and clients. In this way, you can ensure that you can transport these objects from one system into another at any time (without restrictions). From a technical point of view, the uniqueness of the ID is ensured by what is known as a "prefix number". You can define a separate prefix number for every system and every client in table T78NR.
System Response
If a prefix number is not defined in the client in which you are currently working, it is not possible to maintain (maintenance terminates).
Procedure
Maintain table T78NR in Customizing, and create an entry for the system in question and the current client.

Copying std to Z program

Dear All
I have a requirement that i need to copy saplsproject_solar_doc_eval_im from the solution manager into a Z. Now im copying that into a Z and this is a function pool and this cannot be exceuted directly.I tried to include this in a report program and it says report program found and it shows this include
INCLUDE LSPROJECT_SOLARDOC_EVAL_IMTOP.
Kindly suggest what steps i need to do for porceeding further.

when you copy program from system, it may be has 'include', if you want modify code of this 'include',select item of 'INCLUDE' when you copy and rename this include in 'Include-Name Target'.after copy, you can see a new include in your add-on report, you can modify code of this include not effect the system code.

Copy Standard Cost to Moving Average Price

Dear All,
We are maintaining the materials with price control as Standard Price and moving average price is updated and used only for statistical purpose.
I have a requirement of copying the standard price to moving average price field just after the standard costs have been released.
We have used CK40N to complete the calculation and release of standard costs.
Please let me know which SAP standard transaction can be used for the purpose.

I dont think there is any such t code to copy it.. But a weird work around is, if u r on ECC 6.0, you can change the price control from S to V and again V to S.. In this process, your price will get copied from S to V
However, not a recommended way of doing... If you do, you shud do this at a shot and blocking all others users

Hi,
To add to the comments already made,its always a good idea to copy std objects and then modify them. Its a SAP recommended best practice not to touch std objects unless you have to, but copy them over to another and then customize it.
The disadvantage is during the version upgrades and patch upgrades. You don't know how the customized objects will work with std code. The more the customization, the more the testing.
So, its basically a balancing act.

Problems passing std::vector char by reference

I'm currently developing an InDesign Server plug-in off the CS5 SDK (Build 335).
I've written some code that attempts to return the image bytes of a JPEG via a function
     bool CJPEGImage::Copy( std::vector<char>& Data );
The typical usage is...
     std::vector<char> ImageData;
     if (ptrJPEGImage->Copy( ImageData ))
          // Do something with the data
Having created the vector, the debugger shows the value to be [0x00000000](), which is correct as it is empty. On passing it to the function, vector now has a value of [0xffd55784](0xfd,0xff,0xff,0xff,0x01,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x6a ..................). I resize the vector to the number of bytes in the file, create a read stream and then use XferByte( (uchar *)&Data[0], FileSize ) to copy the image data into the vector.
The contents of the vector are not changed and any attempt to use the buffer will lead to a crash elsewhere in the code. It's clearly wrong, as it is a reference and the value should be [0x00000000](0). It's as if the vector is pointing at some random memory. If you pass by copy the new vector is set up correctly.
The same error occurs for <unsigned char>. But switch to <int> and everything behaves as expected. So what is it about std::vector<char>& that InDesign SDK has changed?
I know that InDesign has its own K2Vector implementation. However I have a number of static libs that expect a std::vector<char>& and if so I'd like to use that.
Has anyone seen this before and know a way to work around it?

You cannot pass anything "by reference".
no you are wrong. While invoking remote methods, RMI passes primitive types and abject types by value and remote objects by reference. "Pass by value" is implemented by deep copy. Pass by reference for remote objects is implemented by remote references- remote stubs. So to be more excat they are passed by remote reference. Thats why u extend unicastRemoteObject, remoteServer or remoteObject etc.

THE TC ASKED NAME OF CORRECTION AND OBJECT NAME?? AND THE NEXT SCREEN SHOWED PROVISINAL LIST OF TEXT TO BE TRANSPORTED.
SO MY QUESTION IS :
WHAT I HAVE TO DO IN RSTXTRAN, SO THAT STD TEXT IN 800 CLIENT WILL GO TO (OR COPY TO) CLIENT 900.??
I WANT TO COPY STD TEXT FROM ONE CLIENT TO ANOTHER??? PL PROVIDE FULL PROCEDURE.

Hi,
Create a work bench CR in the transaction SE09..
Modify the task to Development correction / Repair..
Go to the program RSTXTRAN..
In the name of correction give the task number (Not the CR number)
Give the Text Key..Your standard text name..
Press F8...
Press select all..
Then Press enter..
Then press the button "Trsfr texts to corr".
Now the standard texts will be moved to a CR..
Then release the CR and move it to QA..

This can be done in pricing using condition Type K005.
Copy std condition type K005 to Z005 and In Z005 change Calculation type to A- Percentage and Scale Basis - B- Value scale.
Now in VK11 maintain condition record for Z005.
Enter Material XYZ and discount as 2% and in scales maintain Scale value as 1000 USD.
SCENARIO 3
For every purchase of 1000 USD of material abc; customer would get 2% free goods.
I dont think this is possible in Standard. Since free goods are always based on Quantity and not on Value.
