    hi guys,
    I am facing with a problem like when i am trying to use the t.code: KP06 To use the cost center planning it is asking for a planner profile. i had tried to use the default profiles but it is giving an error like  Entry  does not exist in TKA50 (check entry).

    Use Path
    SPRO > Controlling > Cost Center Accounting > Planning > Manual Planning > Define User-Defined Planner Profiles.
    Select the profile you want and click on General Controlling.
    Select Cost ctrs: Cost element/activity inputs then click on Layout for Controlling and enter layout created by you or enter any existing one.
    Once you have done all settings here go to KP06 and use SETTINGS > SET PLANNER PROFILE and enter the profile you maintained settings for.

  • Cost center plan values and Profit center plan values are not matching

    Hi,
    When user drill down the costcenter plan costs by partner in production system getting difference between P center values for a perticular functional area.
    But this number should match with Cost center and P center functional are values but there under functional are showing lower amunts.
    Pls let me know where exactly i have to check because i am fresher for controlling.

    If I understand your requirement then you want to plan both in USD and INR at the same time.
    Say you maintain rate as 1 USD = 50 INR
    Do you want to plan for 100 USD and 480 INR against one combination (Cost Center / Cost Element) and 100 USD and 520 INR against another combination of Cost Center / Cost Element?
    SAP allows you to plan for a Cost Center / Cost Element combination only once. And that you can plan in any currency. Either in CO Area Currency or Object Currency (in this example Cost Center Currency) or in Transaction Currency (any other currency that you may choose). And the other currencies gets derived from the Exchange Rate maintained in the system using OB08 tcode. The exchange rate will be derived using the Planning Version "Exchange Rate Type" and "Value Date" (See Fiscal Year settings for Planning Version).
    So, if you plan in INR it gets translated to USD and vice versa. For planning in different currencies (only one is allowed) you need to change the planning layout to include the Amount Currency field.
    So for a single version say V1 you can plan in INR which gets translated to USD using OB08 exchange tare. Again you can plan in version V2 in USD which will get translated in INR using the same OB08 settings but you need to use a different Exchange Rate Type for V1 & V2.
    I am not sure what the business requirements are. If the requirements are only to display different currencies in a report then that can be achieved by creating a Report Painter report.

    I have been trying several different solution for this issue I have, but could not ,make it work. Hopefully, any of you can give me some ideas.
    Initially the scenario seems to be easy.
    I have a Web template were I show a query analysis item with costcenter, plan/act type, user and entry date. I allow single record selection in this item.
    I have a button that should execute a planning function from the plannig modeler.
    The planning function should be executed only for the costcenter and plan/act type which are selected in the analysis item.
    How do I have to link the two objects :analysis item and planning function, so that the planning function is executed with the correct filter? What should be the filter definition (if any expecific things to consider)?.

    My query(to select the costcenter to unlock) is done from the ODS, and my planning function is done in an aggreagation level of my cube (this is to lock the costcenter in cube, to avoid incorredct updates while it is unlocked/locked).
    The issue that I have is that I can not find a way to send the selected information from the query to the planning function.

  • Load data from one Application to another in BPC NW 7.5

    Hi
    I have a requirement to load data from One application to another application.
    eg. HR Plannning to CostCenter Planning.
    I am aware of a method to load data using transformation file mapping source and target dimensions and run DM package and this works fine.
    However, the challenge is if i try to automate this process then i will have to hardcode the application tech name and save as variant to use that in process chain. Now, if i hardcode the tech name of the application then it might happen that during full optimization the tech name might change and the automation load will fail.
    so how to handle this situation? any standard practices available?

    Exactly. The main problem is that there is no statement to transfer the data. Please take a look at the below link from help.sap:

    Since the structure of both the applications is same, you dont require add_dim or rename_dim, etc. However, you definitely need the when statement.
    If you want to transfer all the records, then you can have something like
    *WHEN ACCOUNT
    *IS *
        *REC(EXPRESSION = %VALUE%)
    *ENDWHEN

    IR_DATA is a importing parameter where you have to pass the table for transaction data and the method RETRACT will retract it to the ECC system.
    So, IR_DATA will not fetch you data rather it will import a set of BPC data to be retracted.

  • Data Source to upload plan data for CO_OM_CCA_: CC: Costs and Allocations

    Hi Guru's,
    We have Data source that which upload Actual data for CCA (0CO_OM_CCA_1 - Cost Centers:cost and allocations).  Every time it is full upload before loading the data deletion of previous load request will be done.
    One more information required that i have checked in the BW cube for plan data it is available in the info cube for one cost center and rest of the costcenter i don't have the data now the users are requesting to upload the plan data for rest of cost centers.
    Now as per the business requirement the users are requesting to upload the plan data in to the same i am not sure whether it will pull the plan data with actuals in to BW cube. Is there any alternate with the same data source or else is there any specific data source for uploading Costs and Allocations plan data
    Please suggest me how can i go a head with this requirement.

    You can use the same datasource to load plan/budget data to the cube for all the costcenters. And regarding the actuals, you can use 0CO_OM_CCA_9 datasource to load to actuals cube and create a multi on top of both plan and actuals cube for reporting purposes.

  • Does exist a way to read data from IP planning cube with ABAP?

    My scenario is as follows:
    I have an ODS where we store costcenters to be planned. This ODS is loaded via a manual falt file load (regular dta transfer process).  In order to avoid inconsisten data in the planning cube, I want to check in my ODS load process, if any costcenter which is already planned (it has planned data in my planning cube) is being deleted in the loaded file.
    To do this, I need to access my planning data cube ( i guess also planning buffer), so my question is if there is any function module which retrieves data from a planning level as reference data.

    note 1101726 shows how the plan buffer can be read.

    Please take a look at the note. You do not need to implement the after_burn_selection exit, but you can find sample code how to read the planning buffer. Please give it a try.
    Another solution would be to use the function module RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ. But you need to make shure that you first close the yellow request. This can be done using function module RSAPO_SWITCH_BATCH_TO_TRANS.

    Is it possible to call exit planning function from ABAP Report (t-code SE38) ? Or I mean is not limited only to be called from ABAP Report, perhaps from BSP / Web-Dynpro / Function Module.
    If somebody here has been doing it before, I'm keen to ask to kindly share it. Particularly how to call and transfer data to that exit function.
    Or if somebody has done in BPS, appreciate if it can be shared too .

    You can achive this as suggested by Mattias in your previous post.
    Lets say you have next data structure:
    CostCenter | Amount | PercentForDistibution |
    Create input ready query in this format. Restrict cost center by variable type range.
    Create WAD with analysis item.
    When you run web page you enter range of cost centers (lets say you will enter 101004 to 101010).
    I assume you have data only for 101004 in your cube (lets say 1000).
    You will see only one record in your webpage.
    CostCenter | Amount | PercentForDistibution |
    101004       | 1000     | NOTHING
    When you create WAD in analysis item properties set "NUMBER_OF_NEW_LINES" to lets say 1 (so in WAD you will see always one blank line for entering new data).
    Just add 6 new records:
    CostCenter | Amount   | PercentForDistibution |
    101005       | NOTHING| 10
    101006       | NOTHING| 30
    101007       | NOTHING| 20
    101008       | NOTHING| 25
    101009       | NOTHING| 5
    101010       | NOTHING| 10
    Then run planning FOX function like this:
    FOREACH Z_COST_CENTER.
    IF {Amount, Z_COST_CENTER} <> 0
    Z_AMNT_TO_DISTRIBUTE = {Amount, Z_COST_CENTER}.
    ENDIF.
    ENDFOR.
    FOREACH Z_COST_CENTER.
    IF {PercentForDistibution Z_COST_CENTER} <> 0.
    {Amount, Z_COST_CENTER} = Z_AMNT_TO_DISTRIBUTE * {PercentForDistibution Z_COST_CENTER}.
    ENDIF.
    ENDFOR.
    It is not perfect FOX, but as an idead, it should work.

  • In Report output, Missing Plan data with the Seletion option - Single Value input (more than 10 values)

    Hi ,
    I am running the Query (Actual Vs Plan) in the BEx Analyzer, with the input for the characteristic like Fiscal Year, Posting Period and Cost Center(20 Single value) it not comming up with the plan data - Actual data is coming up fine.
    If i gave 10 or less than 10 inputs ( single values input in the selection - option ) for the characteristic COST CENTER it coming up with all the data (Both plan and Actual).  if the COST CENTER input values more than 10, it not coming up plan data (Actual data is coming)
    Cost Center Variable is designed with an Authorization Variable.
    Can any one please help me to know why plan data is getting miss when the input limit more than 10 (single values input in the selection - option) in the Cost Center Variable? 
    An also could you please share that, What is the Max limit for the Single values and Range Value for an Selection - option in the BEx Variable.

                 In Report, I am having 2 variant.
    1.   For one variant, i have saved the input values for both the Select Single values & Select range for the cost center.
    8 Values in single & 4 Values in Ranges         
    It coming up with data successfully.
    2.    Another variant having input only for select single values for the COST CENTER, it contains 20 records (This variant also have restricted with the same values as above variant for COSTCENTER variable)
    Fiscal year                         : 2012
    Posting period                   : 8
    Cost Center                        : 20 values in Single                                             (Here I have separated the range values into single)
    It’s not coming up with plan data. 
    B)   If I gave only first 10 values in the Single value, Output for both actual and Plan are coming up…………. If I gave the Second 10 value in the Single value and got the Output for both actual and Plan.
    C)    I have also checked the following details of this query, 
    Executed the query in RSECADMIN and checked the Authorization log as below,
    Relevant Characteristics for Detailed Authorization Check  (Characteristics with Full Authorization Are Not Listed!)
      List of Effective Authorization-Relevant Characteristics for InfoProvider ZPCA_M36: 
    List Is Empty:
      There Are No Characteristics That Have to Be Checked in Detail 
              2.  Checked the Single value input by iteration, 1 to 10, it retrieves data.  More than 10 like 11, 12 … is getting failed to pull plan data.
              3. checked the selection Value range by iteration and I gave the range value count up to 25        inputs, its works fine.

  • Allocation Function in Integrated Planning

    Dear all,
    When reading the documentation on Integrated Planning ("New BI Capabilities..") I noticed the Allocate function is not mentioned.
    These functions are mentioned:
    Revaluation
    Reposting
    Formulas
    Currency translation
    Unit conversion
    Copy
    Distribute with reference data
    Distribute by keys
    Delete
    Is the Allocation function not available in Integrated Planning. Or is it now called "distribute by keys"? Would be confusing...

    Dear all,
    the allocation function is part of the SEM installation and since SAP BW3.5 not part of planning itself. When installing the SEM, the allocation function is available in BPS but not in BI Integrated Planning.  
    From my perspective there two typical situations for allocation of e.g. costs from costcenter/costelement:
    1. The sender Costcenter/costelement is credited:
    In this case the standard distribution function (within one characteristic) would do the same.
    2. An other costcenter/costelement is credited:
    Here you would require a combination of a fox formula (to copy the sender to the 'other' combination and to reverse the sign) and as a second step the standard distribution function (within one characteristic, with the option of not crediting the sender).

  • Characteristic of header for locked the planning

    Hello experts.
    I have a layout of planning. This a filter in the level of variable type exit, to several values singles of the characteristic cost center. This characteristic is in header. The variable is mandatory.
    the problem is when a user to try to entry to planning  to a value of cost center that other user selected  in the before moment. For example:
    USER 1: select value for cost center 10170 in time 1.
    USER 1: select value for cost center 20000 in time 2.
    USER 2: select value for cost center 10170 in time 2, but this last user can`t planning because  the data is locked for el user 1 selected in time 1 this value.
    the locked of user 1 remains although this has select other value.
    I believe to remember that the user 2 could planing if in the same time other user isn't planning the same value, but now i have this problem.

    how does the user 1 select a new costcenter? Is how opening the variable dialog or is he restarting the layout?
    If he is restarting the layout the locks should be reset. You can check this in transaction RSPLSE.
    Please check this thread Re: Saving one layout in a workbook instead of the entire workbook for the "planning on the fly" concept.

    ORDERID, or WBS_ELEMENT.

    We have a requirement from our customer to create two new planning layouts as per the data given below.

    Hi:
    To see the output you have to assign the layout to a planning profile and go to manual planning transaction picking the profile where you assigned the new layout.
    Besides, I believe to remember you can navigate from the layout (when you are creating it) to manual planning (look for it in the menu ("go to" or similar)). It is useful to test it.
