Could not initialize USI for Report

I have DiAdem 2012 SP1 installed.  All of a sudden every time i try to open it i get an error message saying  "Could not Initialize USI Report" see attached.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing DiAdem but it made no difference.
I tried following the instructions in this post
http://forums.ni.com/t5/DIAdem/Errorcode-1906/m-p/810319/highlight/true#M9682
but when i double click the URI files i get an error message (attached).  My URI's are also in C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\USI\Bin since i am on a 64 bit.
I have Windows 7 64bit, LV2013 and a lot of other NI software installed.

Looks like there is something wrong or missing in your installation.
Can you please check usiReg.exe for missing dependencies as described below:
1. Download and unzip Dependency Walker: http://www.dependencywalker.com/depends22_x86.zip
2. Start Dependency Walker and open usiReg.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\USI\Bin\usiReg.exe
3. Save the Dependency Walker Image and post it here or attach a screenshot of the module tree

  • X-FI Audio could not initialize dri

    Hi. I have a problem with X-Fi Audio sound card. Sorry for my English. Windows can not initialize driver for this sound card. It was working well for about a week, but now something has hapened. I deleted the driver and then reinstall it, but there was no effect. I reinstall Windows- no effect too. I tried to remove my sound card from PCI slot and then set it in back, but it's still nothing. I don't know what to do. The windows message is something like that: could not initialize driver for that device (code 37). ?Maybe It's dead?I've bought it 0 days ago. I'm so sad. Help me, please.Message Edited by Anhungered on 09-4-200708:28 AM

    That's weird, don't you think? There are 3 of us with the same promblem. And this problem appeared almost in the same time. Well... I did it!!! I tried to plug sound card in another PC and I used OLD driver... and It works!!! But, then I tried to?replace that "NEW"?driver with driver that was on my X-FI CD and... It works too! In the same PCI slot! Try to reinstall driver with that old one. By the way... I don't understand that situation... maybe that problem was because of the driver... but what could have happened with driver?........... I have Win XP Pro SP2.Message Edited by Anhungered on 09-4-20070:34 AM

    Hi All,
    I am trying to export a webi report from a Java application. When I connect to XI R3.1 report server, it is throwing me the following error. The error is at the line
    DocumentInstance boDocumentInstance = boReportEngine.openDocument(infoObject.getID());
    I amable to connect to the BO server and get the list of reports but when I try to open the document after getting the service(boReportEngines.getService(...), no error at this point), it is throwing the following error. I tried to restart the report server and the CMS server, but it is still giving this error. Any pointer is appreciated.

  • Could not initialize class coldfusion.runtime.report.Report

    I have inherited an application that contains a number of
    reports. This application was developed on our CF7 server, and when
    we upgraded, the application was copied to 8, but not fully tested.
    Now, when we request the reports, we get the following errors (this
    is a Flex application):
    (mx.rpc::Fault)#0
    errorID = 0
    faultCode = "Server.Processing"
    faultDetail = (null)
    faultString = "Could not initialize class
    coldfusion.runtime.report.Report"
    message = "faultCode:Server.Processing faultString:'Could
    not initialize class coldfusion.runtime.report.Report'
    faultDetail:'null'"
    name = "Error"
    rootCause = (null)
    My searching for a solution has not been successful on
    Google. Has anyone experienced this error and been able to fix it?
    I'm at a loss on what to do next, and as the app is in production,
    I have some upset clients over this.
    Thanks!!
    Jenn

    I can't find anything further on this error after much
    research. I'm getting the problem when I try to run any report on a
    live web server (hosted site), even though it runs fine in the
    development environment. My hosting company could only suggest that
    the problem could lie with the fact they have RDS disabled;
    however, although the Report Builder requires RDS, running uploaded
    .cfr reports from the cfreport tag shouldn't. If anyone solves this
    I'd be most grateful for the information to be posted.

  • Crystal Reports VS 2008 "The request could not be submitted for background processing"

    Hi,
    I am going to try to explain this issue the best I can. Please let me know if you need any other information or have any ideas as I have exhausted my resources. We have an ASP.NET application that has highly formatted crystal reports in them that the users can export as PDFs. All reports export without a problem when the application is run off of our desktops. The reports use a sql server authenticated user, executing stored procedures, and each subreport is linked by the main parameter. We are using Visual Studio 2008 version 3.5 SP1 with Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008 on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1. We have designed the reports in Crystal Reports XI Release 2 (11.5.12.1838) and imported them into the ASP.NET application. When trying to export the reports as PDFs from the development or production servers, we get the error message below for some, not all, reports:
    System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800002AD):  Error in File C:\Windows\TEMP\KeyAccountProfile {9FA5C095-77A2-425D-AC6B-8BB66B435336}.rpt: The request could not be submitted for background processing.     at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.ReportSourceClass.Export(ExportOptions pExportOptions, RequestContext pRequestContext)     at CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.EromReportSourceBase.ExportToStream(ExportRequestContext reqContext)
    We have cleared the temp directory on the servers before exporting and are still receiving the error. We have installed Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio (10.5.2.0) on both servers. I have identified the underlying issue to one stored procedure/subreport that is causing the report to fail. The weird thing is, when we change the connection to point to development, the stored procedure/subreport runs fine for the report that generates an error when run from production, and the data is the exact same. I have tried rebuilding the subreport but the error still appears even though it runs fine for other reports.
    I have been through the document below, and othe similar issues in the forums, but still have not found a resolution. I was trying to use the "modules" application put since this is an ASP.NET application I am unsure of which executable I should be looking at.

    OK.. I did some more investigating on this today. I have found out when I move the sub report that generates the error under another sub report, the sub report in question runs without issue. But when I try and move the sub report that produces the error above any other sub report, the error still generates. Can this get any weirder.... FYI.. there is a total of ten sub reports on this report.

    Hi Brad
    I'm not sure that Modules would show us anything in this case, so let's try a few other things:
    1) Make sure you are using SP 1 for Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio:
    Crystal Reports for VS 2005 and VS 2008 Updates & Runtime Downloads
    2) Seeing as this works on dev, this may be some db inconsistency so enabling the report option "Verify on 1st Print" will be a good idea.
    3) Double check the database client and make sure the same client is used on dev and deployed systems. Actually I take back my Modules negative as this is where it may prove useful. Once you have the Modules logs, look at who is loading the crpe32.dll, then look at that process and see the client dlls.
    4) Check the printer driver; see if there are any updates. Try a different printer driver.
    Ten subreports is not too bad, though not that good either as you are loading the report engine with at minimum 11 simultaneous reports (each subreport is considered to be a report). If a subreport is in a details section and the details section returns a 100 records, you are running 100 + 1 reports. This may lead to memory issues, which may lead to the error.
    If I was a betting man, I'd put most of my money on the printer driver (based on your last addition to your post). What ever money I had left would go to some database issue (be it actual data or client related).

    I can't get dvds to play and, instead, get "There was an initialization error.  A valid video device could not be found for playback. Hello, try this...
    Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
    Reboot... any change?

    When I open the application the following alert appears: "Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory." There is a solution on the support site but only for Windows-based Firefox, and I'm a Mac user. I have plenty of room on my hard disk.

    Every time Firefox opened

    In Mac OS X v10.7, the $HOME/Library folder is a hidden folder.
    Open Finder and use one of these:
    * Go > Go To Folder (Shift-Command-G) and in the dialog type: ~/Library
    * Open the "Go" menu and hold down the Option key to make the Library appear
    You can also use this command in a Terminal window to remove the hidden flag.
    * Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
    * chflags nohidden ~/Library

  • Solutions For "Could not initialize the application's security component..." NOT Working

    When opening today Thunderbird the following message appeared: "Could not initialize the application's security component"
    My computer has over 80Gb free space
    I deleted Cert8 and restarted, that did not fix the issue
    I ensured that the 'Read Only' option for Cert8 is unchecked, still the problem remained
    I uninstalled Thunderbird and reloaded, that did not help either.
    Could be a corrupted Cert8, well I do not wish to risk losing valuable non-Thunderbird data by creating a new profile (the only other suggested solution)
    Please can someone get me out of this mess, as I'm unable to access my emails.

    Delete the '''cert8.db''' file in the Thunderbird profile folder.
    This will remove all intermediate certificates that Thunderbird has stored.
    Info on profile here:
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
    Make sure Thunderbird is closed before deleting the '''cert8.db''' file.

  • What causes "report could not be opened for writing . . ." message

    "This report could not be opened for writing.  Any changes must be saved to a new file."  The version is CR 2013 SP1.  Win 7 Pro.  I'm new to CR and can't figure out why I get this error.  I've verified all Windows permissions.  It's an SAP error message - not a Windows message.  Thanks in advance.
    rd

    Hi Rd,
    Per SAP Note 1911880, this has been identified as a Bug in CR 2011. Since CR 2013 is just a rebranded version of the same tool, the SAP Note should apply to CR 2013 as well.
    For CR 2013, the issue has been resolved in FP3. I would suggest you to upgrade to the highest available version for CR 2013 and see if it works.
    Another workaround could be to right-click the CR Designer exe > Run as Administrator > Log-in with Admin credentials > try opening the report.

    What does this caused? And how can I make following code to work? Is it bug, or is it supposed to do so?
              X509CertImpl newCert = new X509CertImpl(certInfo);
              newCert.sign(caPrivateKey, SIG_ALG_NAME);

    Your key is probably using a different algorithm:
    Signature signature =

    PrivateKey privKey =
    ( PrivateKey ) this.store.getKey( alias, pwd );
    Make sure the SIGNATURE_ALGORITHM (SHA1WithRSA, SHA1WithDSA)
    matches the algoright of the keystore.
    your will see it when casting the private key into a concrete

    RSAPrivateKey privKey =
