Count Restricted KF

Hi,
Scenario:
I have to Count --> Profit Making Deals on KF BOOK_VALUE.
KF: BOOK_VALUE
Char: UPDATE_TYPE
so for Profit Making Deals I have to Restrict BOOK_VALUE on UPDATE_TYPE with DBT_B001(Profit).
then I have to Count.
what is the procedure and what should be the aggregation type.
iam using a multiprovider.

Create one CKF....Define the value as 1....In aggregation Tab Select Ref Char As created RKF.....Type Total....U will get the count...

Document count limit under folders

We are trying to figure out what the library file count restriction is for items under a folder.
We can see here:

Documents :: 30,000,000 per library >> You can create very large document libraries by nesting folders, or using standard views and site hierarchy. This value may vary depending on how documents and folders are organized, and by the type and size of

Does that mean there is a file count limit of some sort under folders for a library?

Boundaries: Static limits that cannot be exceeded by design
Thresholds: Configurable limits that can be exceeded to accommodate specific requirements
Supported limits: Configurable limits that have been set by default to a tested value
The actual limit on documents is based on restrictions in SQL Server, which is much larger than 30,000,000.
The guidance for number of items per view (or max displayed in a page or retrieved via code in a single batch) is 2000 for SharePoint 2007 and 5000 for SharePoint 2010 and 2013. The 2000 limit was based on "testing" and the 5000 is based on a SQL Server
restriction. Note that in the referenced page the 5000 is listed as a "Threshold" and that you can change this in Central Administration. But, SQL server escalates from row locks to a table lock at 5000 rows. As all documents in all libraries in all sites
in a site collection (and possibly in an entire web application) are stored in a single table, one user exceeding 5000 rows in a request would be locking all other users out for the duration of the request.
Folders, grouped views and the 5000 "Threshold" are all ways of limiting problem sized requests. Bottom line, the size of a library or a folder is practically unlimited, while the maximum number of items displayed in a single request should never exceed
5000.

A counter of periods between dates

Hi all,
i got a query, that the user input a fiscper for example: 005.2009,
now i have to make a counter of periods from 000 to the selected, in this case = 5 periods,
then, y got a KF with an amount for example = 1000, this amount i have to divide between the counter, in this case
1000 / 5 = 200, this 200 is the number what i need to do, but this i can do it with the counter of periods, thats what i m looking for, how to do this counter of periods, help guys

Please use exception aggregation to create a count restricted on Fiscal Period ( Count of all values ) . Now you can use this in your formula.

Cannot install Windows Azure Active Directory Sync tool on Server 2012 w/ SQL Server 2012

I went to change a user password on the server today and after changing the password I logged into the SQL server to run “Import-module dirsync” & “Start-onlinecoexistencesync” in powershell in order to sync the new password with Exchange Online. After
waiting ten minutes I tried setting up the email on the user’s PC but the new password was not being accepted. I logged into Office 365 and I got the following warning.
"Warning: Last synced more than 3 days ago | Troubleshoot"
So I pressed troubleshoot and the site installed a tool on the server to try and find out what the issue was. After the tool ran it told me that the version of dirsync.exe was out of date and that I should download the new one and install it. So I downloaded
the new dirsync.exe (version 7020 I believe) and tried installing it. I kept getting error after error, different ones to boot.
First it told me I wasn’t part of the FIMSyncAdmins group (so I added myself), then it told me that it could not connect to MIIS server, so I tried starting it and windows said that there was a problem with the sign on used by the service so I had
to reset the password for the local user named “AAD_bfd1d6f0cef7” which was being used by that service. The service started successfully and when I went to install it told me I could not and if the problem persisted I should uninstall the old version and reinstall.
Looking in the log file, before I even install the software I see the following Information...

"The current configuration of the Windows Azure Active Directory Sync tool is invalid. Please reinstall the Windows Azure Active Directory Sync tool."
So I tried to reinstall (i even manually uninstalled the old version and removed the folder in C:\Program Files\ called "Windows Azure Active Directory Sync") and on reinstall I get as far as "Installing Components" and then after a little
while it errors out with the error "The install was unable to setup a required component. Check the event logs for more information. Please try the installation again and if the error persists, contact Technical Support. "
Looking at the log file there are a bunch of new entries, created by the installer. There's over 300 new entries and I can not post them all here due to character count restriction. you can find the log file here...

Can anyone tell me what is going on, I've been looking through the log files and I can see errors but I'm not sure what to do to fix it.

Wanted to know if you've hosted the DirSync tool (latest version) on a VM? Also, if this is deployed in a Production or Lab environment? If it's a lab setup, you may
try installing the DirSync on a new VM / Server (suspecting that it could be some machine related issues).

What is "Assign Source Video" and "Assign Source A1"

From time to time, on the very left of the timeline, there is another tab area that sometimes show "V" on the video track and "A1" on the audio track. When I right click on the area there will be a new option saying "Assign Source Video" and "Assign Source A1".
What is that? I look on the online help and couldn't find info on this.

CiscoWorks LMS 4.1

Currently we have CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 and looking to buy or if possible upgrade to latest version of CiscoWorks LMS 4.1
I need confirmation is this LMS 4.1 is a bundle? Like including RME, Common Services, CiscoView, Device fault Manager, Campus Manager and etc.,?

An upgrade from LMS 2.x to LMS 4.1 is possible. With LMS 2.6 there was no device count restriction but the next major release (LMS 3.0) introduced licensing based on device count. So you have to determine which device count you need. Available licenses are for example:
    LMS41-300-UP-K9         Upgrade LMS 2.x 3.x to 4.1 Base DVD for 300 devices
    LMS41-1.5K-UP-K9         Upgrade LMS 2.x 3.x to 4.1 Base DVD for 1500 devices
LMS 4.1 is a bundle and - under the cover - still contains CS, CiscoView, RME, CM, DFM and meanwhile also IPM (Internetwok Performance Monitor) and HUM (Health and Utilization Monitor); With LMS 4.x they cannot be installed as standalone applications as it was with LMS 2.x/ 3.x; Also the GUI has undergone a complete re-write (and thus re-organization) - see the link to the data sheets below.
There will be some changes with LMS because it will be merged together with "Cisco Prime Network Control System" into "Cisco Prime Infrastructure".
Thus the latest release of LMS (LMS 4.2) is available in the "Cisco Prime Infrasturcture" Bundle which contains both these products:
      Cisco Prime Network Control System 1.1        (Mgmt for Wireless Products)
      Cisco Prime LAN Management Solution 4.2       (Mgmt for Network devices)

Need to caliculate char's values

Hi All,
lets say ex:
I hav a Char and its values range is 2000 to 40,000.
and i have Counter , restricted keyfig 's are in Structure Now i want to caliculate Char values into Counter and into restricted keyfig's
example : report output
Counter......char'values........ result
2........... ......2000..............2000
3..................5000..............15000
....etc

Hi,
Use formula variable for that through which you can calculate the charcateristic values.
Make a formula in the columns thorugh right click.
Make a formula variable thorugh right click on this formula.
Make it replacement path type.
Then give the "characteristic" name as Counter if counter is char.and you want o multiply counter with char.
For char value do the same make it also as replacement path variable in the next window give "replace with" as key and then in next "dimension" as number .
Now you can use this formula variable for calculation in the formula just multiply it with the counter.
Do remeber to add counter to the columns if it is key figure.then only you will get option to use it in the formula.
this formula will be your result.

Hi,
There is no way you can restrict the users in creating no of positions.
Better to have approval process for the positions to be created.Which might restrict the users.
As the objects have different statuses planned,approved,active..etc..

Hello,
if you are executing a DBMS_AQ.DEQUEUE and then perform a rollback in your code the counter RETRY_COUNT will not go up by 1.
You are only reversing your own AQ action. This counter will be used only internally to log unsuccessful dequeue actions.

OBIEE - Spatial maps -restricting counties based on state.

Hi,
We are using OBIEE - map views which is utilizing oracle spatial 'mvdemo'. we notice that USA there are many counties with the same name across states such as 'Orange', which is present in around 5 states.
We are unable to restrict these counties appearing on map based on the selected state.
Steps followed:
- We have added two layers for state and county -THEME_DEMO_STATES and THEME_DEMO_COUNTIES in 'Manage Map Data' tab on OBIEE.
- BI data has been added to both the layers using 'Key Layers'
- We populated state level information on map.
- As we drill down from state level to county level, we observe that all the counties with the same name across the country appear with the same data irrespective of which state they belong to.
It would be great if some one can suggest how to over come this issue. Thanks in advance.

We've sites with 60 ap's and one ap is the wds-ap, when we've running ios 12.3(8)JA witch our ap1200's we've got for instance:
#sh wlccp wds
AP Count: 59 , MN Count: 235
when we're running ios 12.3(8)JEC we're getting an AP count of 32 en the rest get the message in the log "%LEAPCL-3-TIMEOUT: AP Timed out authenticating to the WDS".
Is this made on purpose ??

We encountered the same issue when we upgraded our APs from 12.3(8)JA to 12.8(8)JEC. The solution to the problem was to configure the WDS AP with the following:
wlccp wds mode wds-only
