COWBPACK, Create Batch

Dear all,
I am looking for a solution to create a batch in Transaction COWBPACK automatically, when the Handling unit is generated.
We are not maintaining the batch in the process order. So this is the point, the user needs to do it.
Is there any possibilty to create batch in the background automatically like in process order. The creation of the batch in COWBHUWE is too late, because we need the information of the MHD at our label.
An other idea for a workaround: is it possible to trigger the message determination in COWBHUWE ? I think this would be too late, because message is created at generation of Handling Unit?!

Please Try with BAPI rather by Batch....
Try BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2. FM to create sales order it can also create ZFIELDS also by using Extension option.

Create batch input, does not include all records

Have anyone experienced, when doing Create Batch Input from the LSMW menu it does not include all rows.
For example I have a .txt file with 3000 records that I specify in "Specify Files"
"Read Data" reads 3000 records.
"Convert Data" Converts 3000 records
"Create Batch input Sessions" creates 2461 records? ?
I have noticed that this happen when the system is busy running many batches and Idocs.

I'm talking about LSMW programs with regular Batch input Recording.
I haven't noticed which transactions it skips since I do not run the Batch, when I notice that it does not include all rows as I have read and converted.
However usually if I "Create the batch input session" once again it includes all the records from the conversion before.
But since Create a batch input can take a long time depending on the amount of transactions it creates this is not a desired option.
So it is not possible that the transactions it does not create are errors since its possible to run them successfully. And I haven't used any SKIP TRANSACTION in the mapping step.
But like I said this only happens when the system is running many batches / idocs at the moment, for example if we are loading the material master at the same time as I run my batch input programs.

Email Address not visible for output device MAIL in created batch job

Issue in ECC6.0: Email Address not visible to display/change for output device MAIL in print parameter of each step in the created batch job.
User wants to periodically receive report file via send to his email, so I create the batch job running report and send the report in pdf file to his email.
Detail in the batch job
1) In print parameter screen of the step in the batch job
-Using output device MAIL (output type ZPDF1)
-inputting email address of receiver in the EMAIL ADDRESS field
2) After the batch job was saved, I tried to display/change the field EMAIL ADDRESS via Tx. SM37, but this field is invisible. The field can not be displayed or changed anymore. I also tried in SM36, but it is for creating new batch job, not changing the existing batch job.
4) User receives email with pdf file from the batch job.
How to change/display the email address of the receiver in the created batch job?
Note that we just changed to use SAP ECC6 from SAP 4.6c. In SAP 4.6c, we can change/display the
Email Address Field via Tx. SM37.

After saving the job if the job has not started then you can follow the below steps to change the Email address.
1. View the job from Txn SM37.
2. check the check box for your job that you want to change and goto menu path "Job->change
3. in the next screen goto "Edit->steps." or press "F6" key
4. place the coursor on the job and goto menu path "Step->change->print specifications.
5. here you can change the email address.
If you are not able change the data then you might not have authorization.

Create batch for 531 movement in transaction COR6N

Hi,
I am using COR6n to record process order confirmations. As part of the usual 261 and 101 movements, I want to record a 531 (goods receipt of a bi-product). This is to record bi-product coming off the production line that can be used in other manufacturing processes. When I try tor record a 531 mvt in cor6n I am prompted for a batch number, the system does not create one automatically. Even if I go to the menupath Component -> Batch Management -> Create Batch I get the following error
Error when creating a new batch
    Message no. GOODSMOVEMENT016
Diagnosis
    When creating a new batch for material abcde in plant 123 an error
    has arisen.
Procedure
    You have the following options:
    o   Check automatic batch assignment.
    o   Check whether the material is currently locked.
    o   Check the batch number range.
I have maintained the necessary batch management customizing. Is there any way to create a batch number in cor6n for a 531 mvt?

in general it shall be possible for GR by-product.
Message GOODSMOVEMENT 016 appears under the following conditions when tyring to create a batch:
              material_not_found
              plant_not_found
              stoloc_not_found
              lock_on_material
              lock_on_plant
              lock_on_batch
              lock_system_error
              no_authority
              illegal_batch_number
              no_batch_handling
              no_valuation_area
              valuation_type_not_found
              no_valuation_found
              wrong_status
              interval_not_found
              number_range_not_extern
              object_not_found
              error_check_batch_number
              no_external_number
              no_customer_number
As you can see there are many possibilities. You may try to find the reason, at best together with an ABAPer, checking the sy-subrc when calling function module VB_CREATE_BATCH.
But from far away it is almost impossible to find out the reason.

I will Click on display errors for the list of open documents.
Then i will clear all documents.
Next I will change MM02 by removing Check box to normal material
It should work for me.
My Doubt is after this also i need to run the program to change to non batch material.

Bank statement is not creating Batch in upload statement in FF67.

When uploading bank statement by T. code FF67, batch is not creating for company code under china,but creating batch for india company code.
Variant is taken same for all company code and process type -2 is selected (tested also in 3).

Your transaction types (external provided by the bank) are being linked to an interpretation algorithm, which requires a reference field.
Can you please check the following:
IMG: Financial Accounting ==> Bank Accounting ==> Business Transactions ==> Payment Transactions ==> Manual Bank Statement ==> Electronic Bank Statement Make Global Settings for Electronic Bank Statement
Give your chart of accounts
Select Create Transaction Type
Click on Assign External Transaction Types to Posting Rules
See your External Transaction Type (if it is a debit use - and credit use +)
Check your posting rule
See the interpretation algorithm: Use 1 (Standard Algorithm)
Planning Type, Transaction (Keep it blank)
Processing Type: 5 Bank Transfer BACS/bk collection BACS/customer cash inflow
Only in case of outgoing check (cheque), use interpretation algorithm 13 and Processing Type 1 (Clering with check)
If you correct the entries like this, hopefully you will get rid of this warning.

How to create Batch file to execute sql scripts

Hi friends,
      i want to create batch file to execute all my .sql scripts.
I have all table ( all table scripts in single file ) ,Udds ( all udds in single file ) ,Stored procedures( separate file for each SPs ),Functions ( Separate file for each Functions ),Triggers and views scripts in .SQL file.
can anybody tell me how to create batch file for executing all these scripts in sql server ?.
   while executing, it should ask Database name,server name, password. if these details are given then it should execute my all scripts in given database
, if any error thrown then that error and procedure name alone have to move to separate log file..
Please help me if this possible or any other easy way to do this..

Automatically create batch during return delivery

Is there any way to make the system to create batch automatically during return delivery??
The requirement is, to get the system to work like MM where batch can be set to be created automatically by movement type. During return delivery, we don't have to select the batch but system will automatically create a batch.

Hi,
It is possible to activate batch during delivery/return delivery. However this again needs to be configured by the MM team. If you work along with the MM team, they should be able to enable this functionality.
Certain functions like Batch Mngt, Outputs etc are independent of the module and they work based on teh applications.

yester day i asked the same question. i created the article and also ticked in batch management tab. but i did't configure any batch management in my screen. when i am going to use the migo screen with movement type 105 i have to select the storage locations with different batch number for that article . how can i maintain that? can you please give me the solution for this . i dont need any batch management configuration ? i need simple solution but should be use full for my requirement?.

when I use LSMW to upload data. every step is OK, but at the NO. 13 step ' 13 Create Batch Input Session', it always set the 'Display Trnacts per BI Folder' field a default value '1' .I must clear the defautl value and let the field to black so I can create ONE session.
why it always set a default value '1' in the 'Display Trnacts per BI Folder' field ??

=> Looks like you havent mentioned the TCODE that you are using whilst recording. There is a field specific to TCODE in the step 'Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules'. Double Click on the field, a dialog opens, give your TCODE in capitals.
=> Check if you have mapped all the fields that you want to upload using LSMW. You could have missed mapping few target fields with their source fields.
=> Remove any unnecessary structure relations in step 4 - 'Maintain Structure Relations'.

It shows the no. of transactions covered in a particular session. Like if you have 1000 records in your load file and if u put 500 transactions as value then it will create 2 sessions of 500 each. And if you leave it blank then by default also it will create 1 session......
