[Cp] Select object from the timeline and move it on slide with cursor keys ?

Hello,
I don't know if there's a shortcut for this :
Sometimes, it's easier to select an object from the timeline but if you try to use cursor keys to move it, you're in fact moving IN the timeline.
Is there a way to switch to Slide edition ?

You can not only use the cursor keys, but also in combination with other keys. And indeed, you have to move the cursor over the stage:

I have a next button in a symbol. When I click on the button I would like to start the animation from the timeline.
It wil starts at one second. But if the timeline is after 3 seconds I would like to play the animation backwards (if you click on the same button).
I tried it with the code below but it starts always at 1 second.

Thanks for the demo file, I checked it, tried it in my project and it works.
But I think I have to explain better.
I have a button in the symbol. When I am between 0 and 1 second on the stage timeline
and I click on the button. The stage timeline (slider) will start from 1 second till 2.
But when I'm in the timeline after 3 seconds (doesn't matter if its at 10 sec) and I click on the button,
I would like to play the stage timeline from 3 seconds till 2.
Is this possible and how do I do that?

No sound from the speaker and missing speaker device listed with Window 7

I have Window 7 and with SB X-Fi card installed for a long time now but yesterday, there is no sound from the speaker which connected to the normal speaker output of the card. I check the output device and the specker device is missing. I tried to run the software but it says no device.
How do I correct the problem?

The easiest way to move bookmarks around is in the Bookmarks Organizer, which at some point was renamed the Library. To open it, you can choose Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks or press Ctrl+Shift+b.
(Please note that the sort order of the Library dialog doesn't actually carry over to the menu. To sort the menu alphabetically, it's easiest to open the Bookmarks Sidebar, right-click the words Bookmarks Menu and choose Sort by Name.)

Getting selected item from combobox itemrenderer and storing in object

Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me in this regard. Its very urgent.
I have a combo box itemrenderer in datagrid column. I want to get the user selected item from the dropdown of the row(s) (User may select values from combo box from multiple rows of datagrid) and corressponding values of all other columns of the rows and store it in an object . Then pass this object to database to update only those rows that user has changed.
I am able to get the selected item from combo box using "event.currentTarget.selectedItem" and corressponding values of all other columns of the rows using "valueSelect.ID", etc where valueSelect is object which contains data for datagrid. But am stuck up with, how to store the selected item value of the combobox and corressponding values of all other columns of the rows into an Object ?.
Can anybody help me with sample to store selected item from combobox and its corressponding values of all other columns into an object which i can send to db...?
Kindly help me in this regard.

Are you using a collection of VO or DTO as the dataprovider of the combobox component?
If so, have you created some attribute there to control the user's selection in the combobox?
For instance:
private var selected:Boolean = false;
If your solution fits this approach, you may create a new collection that contains just the objects that were selected by the user, it means you can loop through the datagrid's dataprovider and only insert in this new collection those objects that have the attribute "selected" set to true.
For instance:
private function getSelectedRecords(datagridDataProvider:ArrayCollection):ArrayCollection
    var newCollection:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection();
    for each (var item:Object in datagridDataProvider)
        if (item.selected)
            newCollection.addItem(item)
    return newCollection;
Afterwards, you may serialize this new collection with your back-end.

I try to delete these extra insertions, but the mouse will not release the clip.
Action I’ve taken: I’ve re-installed Premiere Elements 13. Problem remains.
This issue has consumed too much of my time and does not go away. It ruins my video.

I tried using the Guest Account on my Mac. In the Guest Account, Illustrator works perfect!
Then I started wondering what processes (tools/tweaks) I run by default on my account. Turned out the problem was called by a little background tool called RightZoom. RightZoom let's the green 'zoom' button always maximize your current window.
So thanks! Problem solved!

Copy and paste from the timeline

Is there a way to copy a clip that is on the timeline and then paste it into an existing clip, so as to replace that clip and not disturb the edit otherwise? I know I can do that by finding it in the bin, but it's an extra step I wondered if I could avoid.
Also, is there a way to delete a clip and not have the audio which is linked to it disappear too? In this case, the audio is not sync audio, it might be a sound effect which just happens to start on that clip, so right now, I slide the sound effect along so that it isn't attached to the clip and then I delete that clip and then I slide the sound effect back in sync. Would be nice if I could just delete the clip without taking anything with it.

Can't help with the first question…how that might be done without leaving the TL. Assume you mean the equivalent behavior of a replace from start (or end).
As for deleting an attached audio clip, the forward delete key will remove the selected video and replace with a gap – should not affect audio clip.

i am using datagrid with 3 columns NUMBER, NAME, AMOUNT. one text box and one add button and one delete button.
i have two records in the same name in grid, when i click one record from the grid and click ADD button means that time ,both records AMOUNT WILL ADDED which record having the same name and give that value in a text box.
how to do this?

In this application i am using datagrid in last 3 models. the operation is same for the models, select a record from grid then click post it should move to next page.
In that i am writting init() function . this for showing the last module posted records here while i am entering this model.
At the panel initializing time the records loading and showing in the gird,
i written refresh function for this .
But some times the function working properly and show the records in grid.
some time it wont show the records.
refresh function not working properly..

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? If you have not already, be sure to update 12 to 12.1, using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.
But to the immediate questions, assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit....
1. No, it is what it is. But, are you applying the same transition each time? If so, then highlight/select all the clips involved (all at one time), then Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition will do just that for the highlighted/selected clips.
To highlight/select more than one clip at a time, hold down the Shift key of the computer main keyboard and then click on each clip that you want in the group selection
or
with your mouse cursor draw a rectangle around the clips that you want to select
2. Are you using the Premiere Elements 12/12.1 Expert workspace Pan and Zoom Tool? Or the pan or zoom presets under fx Effects/Presets/? With those you can do pan or zoom, not pan and zoom.
Or, are you in the Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor using the pan and zoom effect there? Or, are you using keyframing the Motion Scale property for zoom and the Motion Position property for pan?
Are you asking about photos with landscape or portrait orientation?
The pan and zoom tool does one photo at a time.
Have you read the Adobe documentation on the Pan and Zoom Tool?

first get the length of the datagrid.
suppose your datagrid id is db and you want to delete the the row which have same name .....
first get the selected row and from that name of the selcted row.
supoose selected name is
var index:int=db.selectedindex;
var selname:string =bd.dataprovide.getItemAt(index).name;(name id datafield of the column).
now you got the selected name search for the same rows in datagrid.
var totallen:int=(db.dataprovider).length;
for(var i:int=0;i<totallen;i++)
    var checkduplicate:string=bd.dataprovide.getItemAt(i).name;
   if(checkduplicate==selname)
     db.dataProvider.removeItemAt(i);
this will delete all the row which are with same name with selected row name...

It has been useful in past versions of Firefox to be able to add (a) space(s) between icons on the toolbar in order to create groups of icons and/or separate icons by class or function. In Firefox 29.0, I discovered how to "grab" (click and drag) a space from open areas on the toolbar and move it to another part of the toolbar. But how can I add spaces to the toolbar? In past versions, there used to be a space icon in the customize menu set that could be dragged to the toolbar for that purpose.

Actually, you can email up to 5 at a time from the Photos app. Select any more and the email share option will not appear.
If you explain why you need to email large numbers of photos, we might be able to offer an alternative.

i have set the Windows Software Compatibility setting for their "Window 7 emulator" and the condition still persists.
also the "fullscreen playback" for the project used to be very fine resolution and now it is very mushy...
all this tells me there are real problem with my Premier Element 10

You are running Premiere Elements 10 on Windows 8.1 64 bit. The program works just fine in Windows 8.1 64 bit when run Windows 8.1.
So do not go altering to another operating system. I know this first hand.
The immediate factor that needs ruling in or out is your video card/graphics card. Specifically "Does your Windows 8.1 64 bit use
a NVIDIA GeForce card? If so, that may be your answer. See Announcement at the top of this forum which describe the Premiere
Elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce problem and gives the fix of how to roll back the card's driver version to get Premiere Elements 10
to work for you.
Once we are assured that you are not afflicted by Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce syndrome and also know that your current
video card/graphics card driver is up to date, then we can move on to seek other factors that may be causing the problem.
