Attaching messages to email

Hi,
I have a e72 and  will be very grateful if anyone could guide me how to attach my messages to my email. I tried to use the send as email option but there the messages gets converted to an email.  The other option was that the message file was sent in .vmg format as an attachment in the email but the recipient could not read it. Can you please help me in sending my messages in any other format which can be easily read in outlook mail client. I use outlook as my primary email client.
Thanks
Tanni

Since you don't provide the entire class and error message, I'm not certain what the problem is but I can give you a couple of ideas to try.
In your msg.attach() call, begin the string with a slash. The result would be:
msg.attach("/ifs/preproduction/saleswebcenter/TestNull/Laura.doc");
You may also need to use LibrarySession.getRootFolder() prior to setting the current directory so that the call knows where to start looking.
If these hints don't work for you, please post the complete class and a listing of the error message so that we can look at this more closely.

If I connect to wifi it works just fine.  If it's truly "storing" a low res version on my phone it shouldn't have to download anything.  I can understand the uploading of pics to library only being done over wifi, but there are plenty of times I'm going to want to send a pic when I'm not going to be near a network.  It does work occasionally, but the norm is that I get the error.

    Hi Ed,
There is issue with Windows 7 when you send the email. It gives the message you specified.
But you can always use Adobe Email client to send your images. In this workflow also you would get the error message but you can ignore it and continue to send the mail.

  • Text message to email sent as attachment instead of in email body

I used to have this problem before with my iPhone 4, but it seemed to go away. Now, with the lates OS update it's back again. When I send a text message to my wife's Gmail it arrives as a text file attachment to the email instead of just normal text in the email body.
I use Verizon, and the source of the email is @vzwpix.com. I know that there is also @vtext.com, but in the past it hasn't mattered which one was used.
    Any ideas?

If you try reading other posts here about attachments and such you may get a hint. It sounds like all email programs would work fine if people just sent plain text. Problems arise when we use RTF (rich text format) and HTML. Possibly the original email you received had formatted text. My guess is that if you forced that text into plain text then it would be readable by all. This is the reason that only some people have trouble with the forwarded text. It depends on their email client or even on settings of that client.
    Good luck.

Try double clicking your home button then force close the stuck PDF by swiping upward. Once you've done that just click the home button again to exit.

I am having similar problems I believe the devices are specific to the initial itunes account that they are set up on. The only thing I can think of is to set each one up with its' own account. Apple devices seem to need to have dedicated itunes accounts. Sharing of accounts between devices doesn;t seem to work.

  • Send destination message in email attachment

I have a source schema(let A) and it is converted into destination schema(let B) through mapping. The destination message is sent to a file location. Now I want to send this destination message in email attachment through c# code.but the destination message
should be pick up from orchestration not from send file location.
    how it is possible ?

Are you talking about sending your message as an attachment through the orchestration? Well that is what the SMTP Adapter is for. Refer
http://winterdom.com/2005/08/smtpadapterinbts2006andhtmlformattedmessages and the official document on SMTP Adapter @http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa578267.aspx
To receive mails into an orchestration, you should have a POP3 enabled e-mail account, use the POP3 Adapter with the MIME/S-MIME Pipeline Components to pick-up and read the mails from BizTalk.

    Hi CartoonBob,
If you are having issues with being unable to attach a photo from Mail on your iPhone, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

  • When responding to an email it hangs with Attaching message

I really like Thunderbird, except at various times when I respond to a message there will be a popup that says Attaching. I've waited as long as 20 minutes and it just hangs there. The email I'm responding to can be long or short, that doesn't seem to make a difference. It can be one email or a number in email I'm responding to. There is never an attachment on these emails. I have not found a way to get around this problem. To respond, I have to send a separate email which, of course, loses the chain of correspondence that is needed. Has anyone had this problem and found a way around it? Thanks for your help.

I use Avast for my anti-virus and have for years. It is set to NOT scan outgoing emails. I only have this problem with outgoing emails. The problem does not occur with every outgoing email. It only happens 5 or 6 times per week but it is still very aggravating.

    Hi Alex,
The trick to this whole thing is to scroll to the bottom of the message. There should be a dashed line at the bottom of the email message with text underneath it that says, "This message was downloaded as plain text." Underneath that it should say (in blue hyperlink text) "Download full message". Select that hyperlink, and the Excel file should download completely. You should then be able to select the document and have it open correctly.
I have had the same concern regardless of file format that is sent, so I do not believe your issue is with file format. Hope this helps.
I've seen the same thing happen with images, which it displays in a corrupted form. It's fixed by downloading the full message.
There's a more serious side effect of this, which I've now seen with several types of files. If one FORWARDS the email to someone else, the attached files it sends them are CORRUPTED and unopenable too. In the case of a Word files I looked at, it had dropped the last two bytes of the file.
The workaround for that is to download the full message before forwarding.
I'm seeing this happening with so many types of attachments that I'm assuming it affects them all. Please everyone report this to Apple feedback (http://www.apple.com/feedback/). It's one thing not being able to open a file on your device, it's another to have files corrupted permanently just by forwarding.

  • Smartform to OTF to PDF attached to an email ERROR

Hi everyone... I have this problem... I need to send a smartform attached to an email... I'm doing the following:
    - Create the OTF using the smartform function importing job_output_info.
    - Convert the OTF (job_output_info-otfdata) to PDF using CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF.
    - Change the table line's width using SX_TABLE_LINE_WIDTH_CHANGE.
    - Send the email using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
Everything seems to be OK. But When I check the PDF file attached in the email and open it, everything there is a mess. The letters are superimposed over each other and the grills are not painted (instead it shows a black block).
Any ideas how to solve this???

I realize this is an old post, but am wondering if you ever resolved this.  I'm having the same issue.  Download an xlsx file locally opens fine, but attaching the seemingly exact same file throw errors/warnings when trying to open via an email attachment.

  • I have scanned a document and saved it to desk top - when I have then attached to an email it says no plug and attachments don't send. How do I add plug in so pdf documents can be attached and opened.

I have scanned a document and then saved it to desktop. It has saved as a pdf. When I have then attached it to email and sent - an message comes up saying no plug ins - The recipent couldnt open files. How can I rectify this so that I can attach pdf pleaase

search the app store for PDF Writer. I've found a lot that will convert documents to PDF, but none yet that will write within the PDF. One thing you want to avoid are cloud based apps. Any of them that talk about editing on the cloud, etc, aren't going to be as standalone as you want.
It's possible, if you can take your template PDF, turn it into a word document that you can edit, you can then convert that to PDF...kinda a workaround way to do what you want. And apps that convert to PDF are much easier to find
