CP5 - W7 - Nested/Grouped objects - Not possible

Hi dear community,
I use Photoshop, Premiere, after effects, and many other adobe produts...
All of them have something in common, you can group or nest objects, vector based or pixel based media does not matter.
In Premiere, yoy can group a film a title and some effects into a cilp, and then use that clip as a object.
In Photoshop you can create folders under layers and use those to manage several objects at once.
But what about captivate? Even the "not to be mensioned here PowerPoint" can group objects.
Why is it so that within a company one does not reuse smart ideas and maby code?
Do not get me wrong, I love all the posibilities with captivate, but explode sometimes on the small unessesary to forget to develop things.
And to you who want to tell me about SHIFT, that is not what I am talking about

Hi friends,
I have created an wda application which uses the table popin to display data.
So that i have created a view with two of the fields as link to action UI element.
In the Events/Actions of the link to action element i implemented the following logic.
data wd_table_cell_editor type ref to cl_Wd_view_element.
data wd_table_column type ref to cl_wd_table_column.
data wd_popin type ref to cl_wd_table_popin.
data id type string.
 wd_table_cell_editor ?= wd_this->m_view->get_element( id ).
wd_table_column ?= wd_table_cell_editor->get__parent( ).
wd_popin = wd_table_column->get_popin( ).
context_element->set_attribute( name = 'SELECTED_POPIN' value =
wd_popin->id ).
So when i click on the link to action in the table column of the field am getting the following error

While debugging i have noticed that this error was coming at the below step of the code.
wd_table_cell_editor ?= wd_this->m_view->get_element( id )
in the m_view->get_element( id ) does not contan any value , its showing as table , as null value cannnot be assigned may be its throwing the above error.
But i didnt understand why the view is not getting UI element id ....
Can one please suggest me where might be the wrong....

Could you please calrify the doubts for the following q's.
1. As u said in the above post, i have changed the code to the below.
 data: lr_table type ref to cl_wd_table,
lr_table_col type ref to cl_wd_table_column.
lr_table ?= wd_this->m_view->get_element( 'TABLE' ).
lr_table_col = lr_table->get_column( ID = 'TABLE_CONNECTID' ).
wd_popin = lr_table_col->get_popin( ).
(At the above step which is in bold , eventhough there is value in lr_table_col->get_popin , its not assigning a value to the wd_popin, throwing same error NULL etc.,)

2. Before changing the code suggested by u, the follwoing was the code from standard example.Its working fine in the application wdr_test_table.I have debugged the code.The value is getting assigned into wd_table_cell_editor.
The same thing i have done but its failing to assign the value. thats y its throwing null reference error. Here i have a confusion how its assigning a value and y not in the z application.am giving the code below which is in standard and my application.Please clarify these.

Grouped objects not saved correctly

I group objects (graphics and text), save the file, but when I open it again, grouped objects are moved, sometimes outside the slide. This seems to affect graphics dropped onto keynote, and only of they are grouped. Graphics & text produced inside keynote, using its graphing tools are displayed correctly.
Anyone sees the same behavior? More importantly, anyone has a fix?

Hi,
I noticed that I can not change the precision on a column in one of my tablesProbably that's a FK column.
For the other problem - probably it's caused by merge conflict and you have in the file symbols <<<<<< >>>>>> and non valid XML elements. You can try to replace the content of the file manually using version from repository. There will be better processing of suche cases in next release.

LT41 - Group TR - Not possible to mark items (bug?)

Hi,
transaction LT41 can be used to group together TR under one group number. This can later be used to create TOs, print TOs and confirm TOs for this group number.
When calling LT41 I can see the open TRs sorted by movement type. But I cannot select any items, "Select all" does not work and the column "Selectd" is not ready for input.
Transaction LT43 (group deliveries) works fine. I have the same problem while testing on the IDES system (ECC5).
I could not find any notes related to this topic.

Not a bug, it is just not possible to select TR if transfer type is "*". This makes sense as it is only possible to create TO for a specific transfer type.
If only one of the following is selected for the transfer type everything works fine.

Deployment of any object not possible with OWB11gR2

i recently did a Upgrade to 11.2 but while i'm trying to deploy the object i get a

even trying with deleting and then deploying didnt work. neither replace.
could anyone help please.

IW32 - assignments to real estate object not possible

Hello, we want to assign an order to a Real Estate Object in transaction IW32.
We go to order header data screen, choose Goto->Assignments, but Real estate object submenu is grey.
Please explain us why?
What should we customize before to activate this feature?

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I worded my question incorrectly. And yes, you are right as to the use of a cost element and a cost center.
By default you can post revenue from a customer contract to a cost element in real estate using flow types, account symbols, etc, but we managed to post an manual customer invoice (FB70) against a cost center as well as specifying the standard GL account and profit center (profit center generated using the contract details).
Is it possible to setup this situation (use of cost centers) in flexible real estate through config using flow types and account symbols?

Syncing iPhone with selected groups: selection not possible

I'm trying to sync only a part of my address book to my iPhone 4, but iTunes did not sync the group named iPhone (the group was created in the iPhone, but was empty). Then I've created a new group called "Mobil" in the address book with 300 or so contacts. But now iTunes is not able to see this group (as shown in the screen shot below).
Any hints from an experienced sync expert? Should I look for some third party apps to sync properly?

Deleting a contact group is not possible

I have been trying for hours to delete a few contact groups I have created years ago. I do not need them anymore. I tried clicking delete on my mac but the option is greyed out. What can I do?

this fixed my problem of not being able to delete groups and any contacts.

Object wrapping of grouped objects

When I group a bunch of objects (say some images and some text) and then set "object causes wrap" to "wrap text only above and below the object", the rule is applied individually to all the items in the group - meaning they can no longer be next to each other. My feeling is that the rule should be applied to the group as a whole and only cause wrapping in things around the group.
Is there another way to achieve this behaviour that I've missed? Or do people think this is a bug?

I assumed that it is what you where asking for.
Now, I know that the app is designed to work as it does in the top part : wrap around the "sum" of the grouped objects, not around the enclosing rectangle.
If we want to wrap around the enclosing rectangle, it's our duty to add the white rectangle.

I want to group my items in a tree structure. For example:

And the code to create these groups is as follows:

I like to keep track of Groups and Users added into our Domain Admins. Yes, it should always be minimal, but if I can have a daily report just to be certain, I'll sleep better.
The following works just fine if there is a single nested group. I cannot get it to work properly if there is more than one. I'm hoping you'll see what I'm missing.
Works fine:

AD System Group Discovery not updating System OU Name on computer object when computer moves OU

2 related questions.
1. We have noticed that computer objects (active clients) in ConfigMgr are not getting their System OU Name discovery data updated when a computer account is moved from one OU to another, and AD System Group Discovery runs. Since we are basing some of our Software Updates collections on AD OU name, these systems are not falling into their required collections.
2. On a few occasions we are also seeing duplicate computer objects being created. One new record from AD System Discovery, which contains the correct 'new' System OU Name, and one 'old' computer object from before the computer account was moved to a different OU in AD. The heartbeat discovery of this second object is still updating e.g. showing new heartbeats, but the computer object still shows the old System OU Name from before the computer account was moved in AD. If we delete both objects and run a Discovery Data Collection Cycle from the client, and AD System Group Discovery, then we get one new record with the correct 'new' set of System OU names.
This duplicates issue is happening in both our Central Primary Site and our other child Primary site. Both sites are set to create new client records for duplicate hardware IDs, and there is a possibility we're seeing the duplicate records on machines that have been re-imaged and redeployed at some point.
It's my understanding that it is AD System Group Discovery that updates the System OU Name property on client objects. We have this set to run every 4 hours. I'm not seeing any errors in the adsysgrp.log. Any idea why discovery is not updating the System OU Name information when a computer account moves OU? As far as I understand it, nothing additional is required to happen from the client end for this property to get updated.

The only thing I can think of would be ad sys group discovery not running at the site where the client is assigned to?

Web-UI error message "Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible"

I need some help, I'm not a Basis person but I need to get this connection problem resolve.
This problem is in our DEV ICWeb system. After logging in to Web-UI, I got a error message "Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible". We have 3 clients (100, 220, & 310) in DEV and all 3 clients are giving me the same error message.

but in the document it asked to go to SM59 to check the ESH_APPL_WS_TEMPLATEENGINE destination. But we don't have that destination setup in all our systems.

Im getting the below error , actually recently i created my own custom table zstudent, later i wrote select query to fetch data from the same and dump at internal table and then bind this to the table node.
But im getting below error, even i removed the select query still same error is occuring.

Acutally i accidentally commented the lo_nd_student = wd_context ....etc
this line was commented .
i have one small requirement to fetch data from local customised table and fill the same to internal table and bind that to table node.
my table node is student having attributes as name , city and number , all are of type strings.
now i created one custom table zstudent having ID - char of length 10,
name of type string
city of type string
num of type string
i have inserted records
but when i use select query to fill data from this zstudent to my internal table of type lt_student type wd_this->elements_student ,
im getting same above error.
