CPM - Cut the connection between two views - the original and the copied

Hi,
I can copy one logical view to another one.
But since then - every change in one view (the original or the other), takes place in both of the views.
How can I cut the connection between the two logical views?
Thanks,
Carmit

  • The connection between two Tuxedo machines

    We want to locate our servers(services) onto different machines, we want to know
    :whether the connection,between two machines, is built up at the first time the
    servers booted and kept persistently connectted, or just build up the connection
    when there comes a request.

    Remote machines connect to one another lazily. If you have machines A
    (master), B and C, then B and C do not connect until a request is made
    between B and C. All machines connect to the master at boot time.

    The connection is persistent and is not request based.
    The machines communicate using BRIDGE.The DBBL which runs
    on the primary master machines keep doing sanity checks
    and health of BBL at all the machines connected and if
    any BBL does not respond for the specified time(set by
    DBBLWAIT) in RESOURCES section.then that machine gets partitioned by DBBL.
    for more info you can read tuxedo documentation.
    Thanks

  • What are the differences between Turn in Final Timesheet and the other option: Send Progress for Selected Tasks?

    Hello,
    The resource filled his/her timesheet in PWA.
    Now :
    What are the differences between Turn in Final Timesheet
    and the other option: Send Progress for Selected Tasks?
    Thanks

    You are partially correct and partially wrong.
    Turn
    in Final Timesheet sends
    the timesheet to the Timesheet Manager for Approval
    but task update always goes to Status manger of the task. Taks manager you can see in MPP(insert status manager field then check)
    Yes
    after approval progress will be available in MPP as well as in Projectweb app as % complete .
    Send
    Progress for Selected Tasks
    Send progress of selected task to status manager after approval update will be available in both MPP and Projectweb
    app as % complete.
    In Send
    Progress for Selected Tasks Timesheet
    Manager doesn't receive anything in his Approval center
    because all the update directly go to Status manager Approval center.
    Here you have to understand
    that there are two role Timesheet Manager(for timesheet approval) and Status manager(for task
    actual approval)

    Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
    Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.(No data loss) Try it again.

  • What's the difference between old SAP appraisal system and the new SAP appraisal system?

    Hi Experts,
    What's the difference between old SAP appraisal system and the new SAP appraisal system?
    Can anyone shed some light please.
    Thanks.

    emgr_update no longer sets or gets the thesaurus from workbench. In 11 all workbench configurations are saved in IFCR configuration directly.
    Hence the thesaurus entry should be added directly in version 11 Workbench as opposed to xml file in older versions.
    And if you want to migrate the changes across environments then import_site script in control directory can be used.

  • Calculate the Difference Between two dates excluding weekends and Holidays

    Hi,
    We need to calculate the difference between the two dates by excluding the Local public holidays (It is global and varies across countries) and weekends should not be included in calculation for a business day in OBIEE.
    We have two dates: Open date and close date when ever close date is null we are calculating age based on taking the current timestamp and need to exclude the weekends and Holidays when ever the close date is null.
    Ex:
    Col1 col2 Total
    11/9/2010 2:46:38 PM Null 13
    11/2/2010 8:06:26 PM 11/3/2010 5:37:03 PM 1
    (In the Total we shouldn't include the weekends,holidays)
    Please let me know how to calculate the difference between two dates by excluding the weekends and holidays.
    Thanks

  • What is the difference between logic studio academic version and the normal version ?

    what is the difference between logic studio academic version from the other versions ?

    No difference... the Academic version cannot be upgraded to the next major revision.
    If you had putchased the Logic 9 academic version you get all the updates 9.0, 9.03, 9.1, 9.3...etc
    When Logic 10 rolls around you would have to purchase the application at full price, your version isn't elgible for the upgrade price.
    Same software as the retail version though.

  • What is the difference between resample.vi, decimate.vi and the filter(FIR.VI)

    Hello, who will gfive me some advice about the difference between
    decimate, resample and the filter VI
    For example, I have a signal and the sampling frequency is 2000Hz
    If I want low pass the band from 0-1000Hz
    I can decimate the signal with the coefficient 2, or I can also use the
    FIR filter with the low pass function.
    What is the differnet between the result? And what about the resample.VI

    Hello,
    With the low pass filter, you'll keep the same number of points, but variation greater than the cut frequency will be remove.
    With the resample vi, you'll change the sampling... The number of point will change (more or less) but the band with of your signal will be the same. The time step is changed. The value of each point is recalculate using interoplation.
    The decimate vi will transform your array in n subarray. If the decimate vi size is 2, you'll obtain 2 subarray. In the first one you'll find all the points with an odd index and in the other all the points with an even index. Each subarray is equivalent to a particular resampling. The signal is the same, with a time step multiplied by the decimate vi size.

  • What is the relationship between Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Reader, and the Acrobat Reader Plugin for Firefox?

    Mozilla's plugin scanner identifies an old version of the Reader plugin on my machine. The download indicates a massive 55 MB size, and implies that Reader itself will be installed on my machine. HOWEVER, I don't want Reader installed! I use Acrobat Pro and I have noticed some problematic interactions over the years.

    Thank you,
    Regsrds,

    Hi Frank,
    Sorry for my fault,
    The following is my table description,
    CREATE TABLE  "DATES"
       (     "FROMDATE" DATE,
         "TODATE" DATE,
                       "LEAVE_ID" Number(5)
    Insert into dates values('05-02-2012','05-05-2012',1);
    Create table holiday_dates(holidays date);
    insert into holiday_dates values('01-05-2012');Now when I used this query,
    select count(*) from (select dt
    from(
        select to_date(fromdate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') + rownum -1 dt
            from dates
            connect by level <= to_date(todate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') - to_date(fromdate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') + 1
    where to_char(dt,'fmday') not in ('sunday','saturday') minus (select holidays from holiday_dates)) dual;
    Count(*)
       64
    Insert into dates values('01/05/2012','05/05/2012',2);
    /Now my table has 2 rows,
    select  *  from dates;
    FROMDATE     TODATE         LEAVE_ID
    01/05/2012     05/05/2012            1
    05/02/2012     05/05/2012            2Now when I used this query,
    select count(*) from (select dt
    from(
        select to_date(fromdate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') + rownum -1 dt
            from dates
            connect by level <= to_date(todate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') - to_date(fromdate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') + 1
    where to_char(dt,'fmday') not in ('sunday','saturday') minus (select holidays from holiday_dates)) dual;The output is ,
    COUNT(*)
    1987How to get the output using the max(leave_id) like the following,
    select..........from... where leave_id=(select max(leave_id) from dates);where to add "WHERE" clause in the above query?
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Gurujothi.

  • Can anyone tell me the compatability between macbook pro running lion and the kindle touch?

    I originally wanted an Ipad, but when I already have a macbook pro, and an android phone, planning to upgrade to an iphone when I qualifiy for one, I could not see paying the money for an ipad when between my computer and phone I have all the capabilities covered. However, being a college student who uses pdf files of textbooks a lot, sometimes pulling out my laptop every time I want to look some little thing up in a textbook gets old. And carrying all my engineering textbooks everywhere is going to kill my back one of these days. So I want a cost friendy e-reader or tablet. Ive heard good things about kindles. But what is the compatibility like for a mac? will it be a pain in the but like my android?

    Get an iPad. Once you have that, you may not really need to spend the money on an iPhone, since the iPad will do everything the iPhone does (and be easier to see doing it) except make phone calls, and even an Android phone can do that.
