Cracked Casing/Creaking Track Button --- RESOLUTION?

Hey everyone,
I'm having a couple of issues with my new macbook (as of august) and though I've seen others post similar questions I haven't noticed if anyone has actually had these issues fixed and what Apple had to say about it...
My casing also seems to be cracking around the bottom edges, the trackpad button is also a creaker (it's almost as if the button doesn't fit properly and snags whenever it's pressed), AND I have some discoloration ON the palmrest area. For those who are going to comment on whether my hands are clean I'll save you the trouble of asking -- yes.
Has anyone else noticed that the edge of the bottom casing is rather sharp? When I type with relaxed hands and forearms the edge along the palmrest area digs into my wrists....
I bought this mac to replace my ibook that died less than a week after its warranty finished so not thrilled by all of these 'minor' but annoying problems.

You're not alone. I have a chip on the left front case, two emerging cracks on the bottom case and a blue discoloration on the right corner of the front case near the power. I bought my macbook last week of September and I already have these annoying chip, cracks and blues. I've sent my laptop to apple care and i was disappointed that I had to write to them directly since it's not the casings are not covered. Imagine!? You pay so much and they won't pay for their own defects or failure of design.
Anyway, I'm still waiting and hoping they replace it as my macbook is still with the shop. If not, this is really a big disappointment.

Sorry, I used the wrong term in my original post. I don't mean to say "mute" my phone, but meant lower the volume!

DVD Receivers:

I realise maybe your personal issue was sorted, but it may help others:
I took my wife's 3-year old Macbook into the genius bar yesterday expecting to pay for a new casing, but was told there was still an extended warranty for Macbook plastic case (provided up to 5 years old and no signs of abuse)
They will replace the top case and screen bezel at no cost, which I think is excellent service.

Hairline cracks near the power button :-(

Hello everyone!! this is my first post here... so sad that it has to be a negative one. i dont know if someone else has posted this topic, but i dont really have time at this precise moment to check.
i have a small hairline fracture just about the power button. i did absolutely nothing to cause this crack. my mother also has this tiny little crack in the same place. i guess its just a flaw in the materials used for the device. but, this is really frustrating because im afraid it might crack all the way, and then im stuck without a phone. also, my power button is a little flimsy, and i dont abuse this phone because it is my first smartphone, and i need it to work properly for two years before i can upgrade to one of those pretty and bright new centros.
my question is... why are these same things happening to so many other palm centro users (the hairline crack mostly)?? palm workers, please look into this issue. i dont think you want to have a bunch of palm centro users returning their phones to the stores because of these little cracks that are a HUGE problem. in fact, i dont think you even want to sell a product that has a defect like this to begin with! i love my phone, i love palm, but i DONT want a device with flaws the second time around. if i could i would take it back to the store, but i am out of warranty and without insurance. perhaps there is a way that i could still get a new/ refurbished one for a minimal fee (NOT full price)? it has happened to me before.... one of my old phones had issues with the screen and i took it and i got a refurbished replacement for 30 dollars. the replacement worked perfectly fine. if this is possible with the centro please let me know because i will go the sprint store in a heart beat. in fact, if i get a wonderful refurbished phone without cracks i might not even upgrade because the newer one is almost the same (although more memory is nice..... if you guys release a purple colored one to sprint then i will definitely upgrade because thats my favorite color.... you might want to keep that in mind ). what worries me is the crack and the power button. i need help.... any suggestions??

And let us all know if you get your preblem fixed br Sprint. this is amajor issue that Palm still has NOT recognized. If we complain enough, they might fix all of our phones.

Add Tracks Button - problem

This one is driving me crazy.
I have over a hundred virtual instrument tracks in my session which I started in Logic 7. Now Once Logic runs out of objects in the environment which I have already created, it insists on adding new rewire objects instead of instrument objects whenever I use the add tracks button or command.
Rewire objects should be a separate selection in the menu apart from instrument tracks, *external midi* and audio tracks!
Every time I add a new instrument track, I have to go to the environment and REASSIGN the added rewire object to be an instrument object! I can't add a VI plug to a rewire object. And unlike Logic 7, you can't change the type of track an object is assigned to in the arrange window; you have to now do it in the environment.
It doesn't matter whether i even create more new instrument objects manuallly in the environment. At this point in my session, Logic still insists on adding rewire objects in the arrange window, and makes these new objects in the environment -- even though I've deleted all rewire objects from my environment, and even though I've manually added another row of instrument objects!

2. All HR Forms includes the Date Trak Button
3. On the Customized Form "Alter Date Track" can be activated from Menu :Tool --> Alter Date Track.
I'd Like the Button to appear on button ruller.

Need help with Motion Tracking-button in After Effects CS6

Hello I just bought After Effects cs6 and wanted to try ''motion tracking'' but I just can't push the motion tracking button. Is there anyone who can help me with that problem?

In order for the motion tracking buttons to become highlighted, you first need to select the clip you'd like to track in the timeline:

I can't get this to work with my RECORD BUTTONS. Mute, Freeze is OK when I slide my mouse across several channel strip buttons - but not the record buttons. Can anybody help?

It works for me for all buttons except the record enable ones - I guess this feature changed along the way (or it might be a bug instead.
Of course, for rec enable I just slide my finger across the rec enable buttons on my Mackie Control instead, which is essentially the same thing...

We have released a new module in a winforms application and wanted to check how popular it is.
We have not coded to track the amount of time that module is used. Is there a way to check in production how many times a button is clicked ?
Is there a tool to track the usage of certain module / button ?
Is there an inbuilt technique in windows 7/8 where I can check the logs of controls being used ?

I am afraid that there is no such bulit-in feature to track the usage of certain control or event.
But you could consider the logging framework http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11409264/winforms-logging-framework
Or log it to file or database inside the click event handler.

Dissapearing track buttons

I have done a search on this, but not come up with much at all...
I loaded yesterdays project back up, in which there were hidden tracks.
I go to hide some more, and the track hide buttons have disapeared. I mean, a gap appears when you hit "H", but no button.
The gap is not "live" in that, you can't click it - so it's not a graphical error
I checked all the track view options, and the track "lock" button doesn'r appear either.
In a fresh project, they are there.
Unimportant as this sounds, the track has a huge bank of BV's being comped, and Folders will not suffice for various reasons.
Any clues???

OK, I perhaps didn't notice last night 'cause the track is very complex... But the gaps DO appear to be "live". Logic is hiding tracks when `i click the gaps.
At least today, they are.
The bummer is, the artist I'm working with, will NOT like not being able to see the buttons when he comes in to tweak.
Esp. after his massive investment in the system.

Cannot use next/previous track buttons when A2DP streaming

I'm trying to stream music from my iPhone 3GS to my Bluetooth-enabled in-car deck. It's a Sony MEX-BT2600. I can connect to my deck and play music on it. But I noticed that I cannot use the next/previous buttons to advance to adjacent tracks. Anyone else have this problem, even with another kind of deck? The BlackBerry I used to carry would work just fine with all Bluetooth functions, so the problem seems specific to the iPhone.

Unfortunately, the iphone only supports pause, play & stop under the AVRCP profile. No track forward or back.

No Align track button in Mocha AE CS6

There is no align surface button for me in Mocha ae CS6 version 2.6.2. I follow all the other tracking steps and when I paste the tracking info to the correct layer it always get skewed and looks really weird. I can only assume its from not aligning the surface. Please help ASAP! I am running Os X Mavricks.
