Crackling when I play my video on the iPod
Does anyone know why there is crackling on the iPod when I play my video (from iTunes) on my iPod. I was having problems with my ipod before it starting doing this, it was shutting off on its own and I reset it and that seemed to work but after I reset it it started to make crakling noise on the video. Has this happened to anyone else and is there a fix for it?
How is it annoying? If you watching a video with audio, and you have it turned up you shouldnt be able to hear the crackling at all. the only way i can really hear it is putting my ear on the back of it while its playing. it also does it when its loading a video once you click on it but its hard to hear it becauase its so quite so for me its not a problem at all cause i cant hear it.

I have an ipod touch 32gb. Model: MC008BT Version: 5.1.1. 3rd ed.
Recently when clicking play on any song the ipod will shuffle through as many songs as there are in the album or playlist until it reaches the end without playing any songs. It also does not go through each song. For example:
a 62 song playlist. I start on song 16. Immediatly the song will shuffle: 16-26-54-62 and then back to the main screen. Also when the songs are shuffling the play button in the top right corner is on.
Music will play if i start from track one with shuffle turned off and repeat turned on. But then i am limited each time to 1-5 songs.
Ipod has been in excellent working order since this has happened.
any suggestions on how to fix?Try:

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings

my ipod supports videos, brand new, i downloaded a video from internet and a software to convert video to be compatible with tha i pod but it says, it does it , but when i try to put in my ipod, it would not take it because it says this cannot be played in this ipod. Help me out

When I uploaded them the first time, shouldn't the artwork have gone with them? When you upload album art, is there a way to find it on the iPod, other than playing the songs? In other words, does it reside in a directory that I can view? If there is, I can at least confirm whether the artwork ever made it to the iPod. It just seems weird that it shows up in iTunes but not on my 'pod.
I know that I had the setting orginally set at "automatic" and then at some point I changed it to manual, and then back to automatice, which is how it is set now. But again, I prepared my database of songs on my computer (including artwork) before I ever uploaded them to my virgin iPod, so I thought it would have gone with them from the start. -
My ipod touch (4th generation) has no sound. I have turned it off and on.....I have the volume up in the "sounds" area. When I push the side volume button, there is no image that appears in the screen that shows that I am either raising or lowering the volume. Do I need to just rest the ipod touch as a new device? Or is there someting else I can try?
And, now when I do press the side volume buttons, the image appears but with the words' "sound effects." what does that mean?

When using my MAC desktop, when I try to play a video on the Apple Homepage I just get a spinning wheel and it says "missing plug-in". What's the issue?
Yep. I installed Lion this morning. Open Mail. All is good. Went to video on the Apple's homepage and my whole computer froze up. I couldn't even shut down the computer properly. I just had to shut it off and restart. :|
Although, no "missing plug in" prompts were coming up for me. Just a frozen (brand new) iMac. -
Every time I make a call or I'm receiving a call my phone is extremely static i can't hear the person on the other line and the person on the other line cannot hear anything They say that they hear a lot of static now my videos when I play a video on YouTube for instance works just fine Siri works just fine. I can't make a call or receive a call whatsoever because all I hear is static and I haven't dropped the phone in water nothing has really happened this literally happened overnight
This is a wireless carrier issue. The fact that the speaker & microphone work properly for other apps is a great indicator that your device is fine.
Contact your wireless carrier about your call quality issue. -

A: There is no such thing as an unlocked iPhone 3Gs in the United States. ALL iPhone 3Gs's sold in the US are locked to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones, therefore it is not legitimately unlocked.
B: Sprint is a CDMA network as others have mentioned. They do NOT use SIM cards. The iPhone 3Gs will NEVER work on Sprint. Ever. It's not physically possible.

I am trying to play some videos from the internet and I get the message "missing plug in". I click on the message and downlaod adobe flash player as prompted. When I log in again to play the videos, I still get the missing plug in message. Any suggestions??
that used to happen to me all the time! I would recommend going to a different sight or attempting to download it again ( you may have missed a step it can be tricky).

I've read that there is a Firefox add-on, or plug-in, that will disable the maddening autoplay that has just recently started to occur when I play YouTube videos.. can I truly disable this thru Firefox?

Are you sure you increased the caller volume? This is only adjustable while in conversation. So, while you are calling you'll see a few icons on your screen and one of them is to adjust your caller volume.

When I''m playing a video clip the computer "locks-up" after a few seconds - what can I do to fix it please?
The latest is happening with the 12 little video clips sent to me by Apple entitled "Get to know your new iPad"
They run from 3 to 32 seconds and then "lock-up" on my iMac.

Does anyone know how to prevent the YouTube volume from going up automatically? I keep my volume down and it increases automatically when I play a video.
Have you tried Windows Update in the Control Panel?
Many times it will find the newest supported drivers for Hardware.
Just be sure to install everything not just the Important ones.
