Crear archivo excel desde la funcion build table

Buenas tardes, estoy trabajando con la funcion Build Table para imprimir unos datos en el Panel Frontarl de Labview y funciona perfecto, pero quiero que esos datos se guarden en un archivo de excel, alguien podria ayudarme?, no se si debo cambiar alguna opcion en las propiedades o debo hacer algun codigo, muchas gracias.

Bonjour Alarmarque,
Ci-joint le VI Building Tables.vi modifié pour que vous puissiez directement écrire les données de la table dans le fichier Excel.
Il fallait traiter la table avant de l'écrire dans un fichier.
Pour tester le VI, exécutez-le, puis choisissez un fichier Excel où écrire.
J'espère que cela vous aidera à avancer dans votre projet.

How can one read a Excel File and Upload into Table using Pl/SQL Code.

How can one read a Excel File and Upload into Table using Pl/SQL Code.
1. Excel File is on My PC.
2. And I want to write a Stored Procedure or Package to do that.
3. DataBase is on Other Server. Client-Server Environment.
4. I am Using Toad or PlSql developer tool.

If you would like to create a package/procedure in order to solve this problem consider using the UTL_FILE in built package, here are a few steps to get you going:
1. Get your DBA to create directory object in oracle using the following command:
create directory TEST_DIR as ‘directory_path’;
Note: This directory is on the server.
2. Grant read,write on directory directory_object_name to username;
You can find out the directory_object_name value from dba_directories view if you are using the system user account.
3. Logon as the user as mentioned above.
Sample code read plain text file code, you can modify this code to suit your need (i.e. read a csv file)

Reading long text from excel file to an internal table

Hi
Can any body tell me how to read long text from excel file to an internal table.
When i am using this FM KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT then it is reading only 32 characters from each cell.
But in my excel sheet in one of the cell has very long text which i need to upload into a internal table.
may i know which FM or what logic i need to use for this problem.

Here is an example program. It will upload an Excel file with two columns. You could also assign the Excel structure dynamically, but I wanted to keep the example simple. The main point is that the internal table (it_excel in this example) must match the Excel structure that you want to convert.
Remember, this is just an example to help you figure out how to properly use the technique. It will certainly need to be modified to fit your requirements, and as always there may be a better way to get the Excel converted... this is just one possibility that has worked for me in the past.

Working with Excel spreadsheet embedded in access table

I have Access DB which contain Excel spreadsheet objects embedded in table. To work with DB I use ADO-Tool based on ActiveX. Data passed to my program from GetRows method as 2D array of variants. As I understand I should convert variant to object refnum and then use this refnum with property and invoke nodes to get data from spreadsheet. How to select data type for VariantToData to work with Excel spreadseet?

Isn't it the same that using Index Array function? I believe that problem is in conversion of variant to refnum. For example, if I change refnum data type to string in Variant To Data, no error appears, and I've got some text data (see the attachment).

Problem in using translation builder table??? pls help

Dear OTN Users,
I have to convert an existing application developed using forms 6i to Chinese for use in China. Kindly advice how to achieve this.
We have tried to use the Translation Builder but it gives an error message " xbd-00024 Translation builder table does not exist" and another error " xbd - 00301 Project Insertion Failed".

You can add attributes in the View to store the selected values .
For eg Add gv_index type i.
Now in the On select first table add a parameter NEW_LEAD_SELECTION type IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT in the action.
Now
use the get index method.

Now when u press the Delete Button the wd_this->gv_index gives the current index which u have selected before

How to build Table of Content in Crystal Reports

Initially, I am looking for an article about how to build Table of Content in Crystal Reports in table-based approach----including how to write to DB table from report:

Loading Multiple excel sheets in to different tables in a DB

Hi All,
I have problem in loading multiple excel sheets data in to according to that excelsheets tables in a DB.
All the excel sheets are in a folder,from that folder i have to acces all excel sheets.
For this i am unsing script task and one dataflow task.
But the error is coming in script task i am not able to put the path in the script..
Is this the correct way to do like this? Or any other way?
Can u please tell me the solution for this..Thanks in advance who are responding to this mail...

I want to upload excel file into an internal table in BW. I am using the FM TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP in the code below.
REPORT ZUPLOAD_EXCEL_TO_ITAB.

Regarding ur case ..
Why don't u make ur own function ??
I also used it here as MD data upload ..
The steps as follows to make it :
1. Create RFC: it will be called by ur Excel.
- Since my purpose was to upload MD, so in the RFC, i called Process Chain.
- This RFC is made as ur purpose.
2. You create Code in Excel by Macro.
The techniques to make it as follows:

I must be blind but I can't locate the build table express vi in lv8 or 8.5. Someone slap be upside the head and point it out. Thanks

It's on the Controls palette. Were you looking on the Functions palette?
