Create a New Tree in Query Access Manager

Folks,
Hello. In PeopleTools Query Access Manager, click on button "Create a New Tree" to create a new Query Access Tree, the system always comes up this message:
"You are not authorized to update definition QUERY_TREE_OLAP. You are not authorized to update the specific definition. Contact your security administrator for access to the specified definition."
Do any folks understand how to solve this problem ?
Thanks.

I figured it was that simple.
I haven't seen you on here in awhile.

  • How to create a new tree node with the initial edit function

    Hi all,
I would like to mimic the Windows system when the user creates a new node. The newly created node should be in the edit mode, i.e.it should
be highlighted and the cursor should be appear at the end of
    the newly created node name.
I have the folloing code after I create the new node and set its selection:
    TreePath selectionPath = getTree().getSelectionPath();
    tree.startEditingAtPath(selectionPath);
However, this only partially does what I want, the cursor does not appear at the end of the node's name and I am not sure how to select the text name of the new node.
    I hope someone can help.

I haven't tried myself but my guess is that you need to customize your tree cell editor for putting
    cursor at specific position, etc.

  • How to create a New ' Support Team ' in Solution manager Service desk

    Hi ,
How we can create new entries for ' Support Team ' in solution manager Service desk . Please provide me your great suggestions , thanks
    Regards
    Vivek

    Hello Vivek,
I am assuming that you have created BP for users. In this case right click on position assign Owner(Business partner).
user under that BP is automatically recognized.
If you not created BP then you have to activate the integration between business partners and employees by setting the switch HRALX/PBPON to 'ON'
read the document available at spro>sap solman imp guide>CRM>Master data>Business Partner-->Integration bP-org mgmt->setup integration with org mgmt.
also read the blog in my previous post.
    Hope this helps.

  • Need to create a new fresh installation of Config Manager 2012 R2 without downtime...

    Hi!
    Here is our problem...
We installed a Configuration Manager 2012 R2 on our domain for testing purposes and behold, it is now in production ;). Now the problem is that we didn't install the test version as recommended, everything is installed onto the systemdrive
and space is running out slowly but surely. All Site System Roles are activated on this one and same server and we are starting to get nervous... An additional DP is on its way but we NEED to install the Site Server and other Site System roles onto new hardware
ASAP. What is the best practice for doing this so that we have so little downtime as possible? We have new computers that need OSD and software that need deploying and updating every week... How should we attempt to do this so that it goes as smoothly as possible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank You!

Or you could simply backup and restore to another server
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg712697.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
And how does that solve this problem: "everything is installed onto the systemdrive"

  • Deployed portlet invisible in Access Manager when creating channel

    Hi
I'm hoping one of you can help me out on this one.
I'm trying to deploy a new build portlet, but get stuck when I want to create a new channel in SJS Access Manager.
For some reason my portlet is not shown in the dropdownlist.
Please note: the portal console is running on a other server than the application servers to which the portlet is deployed.
I've deployed the .war file using the following command:
    pdeploy delpoy -u "uid=xxxxx,ou=People,dc=xxx,dc=xx" -w xxxxxxxx -g xxxxxx -f /root/eurdeploy/usermapping /root/eurdeploy/$1
(xxx's are not the real values ;-) )
Everything seems to be deployed correctly. I can also see the portlet correctly being deployed in the application server console.
    Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Kind regards,

I've already tried that several times.
    Deploy/undeploy seems to work correctly.
As already mentioned, the portlet is shown in all 4 instances of the Application Server, however it remains invisible in the Access Manager.
Is it possible that is has something to do with the fact that we have 4 AS' running on 1 machine in 4 virtual zones?

When clicking on iPhoto Library where they should be stored the folder is blank but if i open up iphoto from the dock menu they appear. I had to create a new folder just to access them. help please, because making a new folder takes up unnecessary space.

There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.    3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

  • Creating new user having same access as that of SYSTEM user in Express Edit

Hi, is it possible in oracle to create a new user having same access as that of SYSTEM user?
If yes what would be syntax?
If not i would like to create a user having most of admin rights likes exporting and importing schemas and all.
    How it can be done?
Any help would be appreciated.. :)
I am using Express Edition 11g.

    same access as that of SYSTEM usergrant dba to <username>;
Its not exactly system equivalent, sys does grant a few rights directly to system database user but its pretty darn close.
    exporting and importing schemasgrant datapump_exp_full_database to <username>;
    grant datapump_imp_full_database to <username>;

    Hi,
I login Access Manager, access sample "realm" -> Authentication->
Advance Properties -> User profiles and then I choiced "Dynamic with user Alias".
Then I only configure JDBC authentication with mysql database that I don't used ldapservice.
When I created a one new user in MySQL, I can login into web application that i security as "sample.war" successfull but new user don't right access resource that i protected before.
When i login access manager with amdmin user, I can not find user that i has been created it in MySQL database. t
When the users are created through the dynamic profile, the default cn/sn are set to "default" , after creation you need to login to amconsole as amadmin and change/add proper values for these attributes.
Alternatively you can set the protected resource's policy subject to Authenticated users. This will work but not sure will meet your requirement

When i login access manager console with new user, it login successful, and view Profile of new user that I has been created.
Can you tell me How to manage new user that I has been new in MySQL by Access manager console ?
I want to configure access proteced resourse for that user. How to configure that ?
read above use the authenticated users subject
    Thank for every help.

  • How to create an new administrator with ldif files

I need another administrator as orcladmin for create an new tree in OID 11g which groups and right must this administrator have?

Although you can create a superuser account that is able to manage entries, it won't be able to do so using ODSM until 11g Patchset 4.
What this means is that you may use ldapbind/ldapmodify/ldapadd/ldapdelete commands with this new user to do the same operations that you would normally only do using the superuser, but that until a future patchset (currently slated for 11g patchset 4), this user will not be able to login to ODSM.
Attempts to login to ODSM as this new user will fail with:
    Error:
ODSM allows only super user to connect to OID.
Connected user is not a super user.
Identify the groups that the superuser is in, as follows:
    ldapsearch -p <OID_port> -h <OID_host> -D "cn=orcladmin" -w <pwd> -b "" -s sub "uniquemember=cn=orcladmin" dn
Create a new user entry, to be used as the second superuser.
Add this user as a uniquemember to all the same groups returned in. This can either be done manually, or via the ldapmodify/ldapadd command with an LDIF file with the following syntax:
    newadmin.ldif
    dn: cn=odisgroup,cn=odi,cn=oracle internet directory
    changetype: modify
    add: uniquemember
    uniquemember: cn=myadmin,cn=users,dc=myorg,dc=com
    dn: cn=Provisioning Admins,cn=changelog subscriber,cn=oracle internet directory
    changetype: modify
    add: uniquemember
    uniquemember: cn=myadmin,cn=users,dc=myorg,dc=com
    ldapadd -p <OID_port> -h <OID_host> -D "cn=orcladmin" -w <pwd> -f newadmin.ldif
