Create custom XML tag, Flex 4.6

hi all
I have a question.
I have the following tag:
<tns:dynamic xmlns:tns="urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style">
</tns:dynamic>
The dynamic part should be dynamic.
I have tried the following code;
<tns:{actionscript.variable} xmlns:tns="urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style">
</tns:{actionscript.variable}>) ;
But i get the 1110 error; Missing XML tag name. So i do something wrong.
Does anybody know how to solve this?

You're not adding your filefilter as an argument of browseForOpen.
ie: browseForOpen("Apri", filterTesto);
But it might not make any difference:

dreamweaver so that when you type some text, all you have to do is

How to create nested xml tags using java parser?

Hi,
I need to create a xml file containing following tags using java program-
<A attr1="abc">
<B attr2="xyz">
<C attr3="pqr"> </C>
</B>
</A>
Can anyone please let me know which parser should I use to create the above mentioned xml file?

Well, you could start by doing it all the 'old fashioned' way; create a String object containing that text and then write it away to a file. Or you could take the time to look at the javadoc for all of the xml support that the Java language itself supplies - XMLReader/Writer for a start. After that put together some code that you think would do the job and ask for help on any specific problems you encounter.

Auto mapping of Columns to custom XML tags

Hello:
I would like to build interface to my Oracle database. Instead of exposing the column names, I would like to translate them to business-savvy XML tags. Of course, I can do this by using the AS construct in my SELECT statements.
I would like to know whether there exists any advanced features in Oracle that automatically do this function.

Once you the get the output in xml format from oraext:query-database function you can apply an xsl function to transform it and do the required.

Having a xml output with custom xml tags

I have a requirement where we need to generate an xml output with a custom set of tags as given below.
<templates>
<list>
<List_no></list_no>
<List_name> </List_name>
</List>
</templates>
I am not sure how to get the list part as tags within tags.
I am able to get the output if the tag level is just one level like ,
<templates>
<List_no></list_no>
<List_name> </List_name>
</List>
</templates>
Does anybody know how I could get the multi-level tags. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you all.

Hi, you can FOR XML PATH for a finer degree of control over your XML. Use the @ symbol to create attributes. Here's a simple example:

I am new to this XML biz. I got a few examples working but when I writeObject, the tags always give me the <string>whatever</string> bizness.
I want to have custom tags like this...

i have few custom MXML components in my library and i am adding them to the stage by script, after that i want to fill some data, lets say Label.text, inside this component.
The question is how to acces / reference variables or other components inside the main custom component which was added to the stage by script???

Create xml tag dynamically within simple transformation

Hi all together,
I'm faceing the following problem:
There is a internal table provided, consisting of name/value-pairs. Something like
ls_struc-name = 'NAME1'.
ls_struc-value = 'XYZ'.
append ls_struc to lt_struc
ls_struc-name = 'CITY1'.
ls_struc-value = 'Munich'.
append ls_struc to lt_struc
and so on.
I have to create this XML (with simple transformation):
<NAME1>XYZ</NAME1>
<CITY1>Munich</CITY1>
Everythings works fine so far (tables, values etc.), but I have problems with creating the XML-Tag, e.g <NAME1> from "$line.name" within the transformation. I don't have any information about the data structure (therefore "call transaction id" does not work).
Any hint is useful!!!

Creating customized shapes

Hello,
I'm quite new in Flex and I wanted to try to build an
application using Flex.
I would like to know if there is any possibility to create
customized shapes with Flex for example shapes like clouds and
arrows and then use these shapes in the web based application with
a simple drag and drop.

the shapes in flash and apply them as skins in flex. You can get

Thanks so much for your resply. I am happy to say that the problem has been fixed by my customer updating her version of Adobe Reader 9 to the latest version. I had sent her a few suggestions on how to try to fix the problem including that one from info I had read on the forum etc.. and that was the solution that worked. I am so relieved that I was able to fix the problem and to answer your question the blank pages were only graphics no text but they were the only pages that the graphics took up the whole page. I thought that was strange and had her change a setting in preferences for printing large images a solution I read in the forum but it did not work.

Question about creating Custom JSF form tag and renderer

Is it possible to build a custom form tag in JSF and have it replace the standard jsf form tag. Are there any potential issues with child forms or anything else.
I created the following
- custom form component class that extends javax.faces.component.UIForm (the only changes I made was to change the value of the COMPONENT_TYPE attribute and change the value for renderer type)
- custom form renderer class that extends HtmlBasicRenderer and I made changes to the encodebegin method and encrypt the value of the id and action url)
- custom form tag class that extends UIComponentELTag ( I did not make any changes here)
- tld for my custom form tag
- created an entry in faces-config.xml of my web-app for my custom form tag
Are there any issues with the above.
Is there something I should do in addition.

In theory you should be fine. Some of the open source libraries either swap out the renderer for the standard h:form component or supply their own form components. You could look at their code for reference if need be.

However using SYS.ODCIVARCHAR2LIST makes sense if your query is a part of bigger processing (PL/SQL procedure or function) and you will do some processing depending on File_Type, like in this example (not compiled, could contain syntax errors):

Steps we now follow
1)Create Data Model in Reports Builder
2)Create xml
3)Insert xml in Publisher to build Fomat
4)FTp rdf
5)Create Data Definition and Template
6)Create executable and Concurrent Program
Is there any way we can build reports without use of Report Builder ? By writing PL SQL Package for Before Report and After Report etc ...
