First of all create java dictionary project..
then create Ejb project...wchich will contain session bean n entity beans
session bean will contain ur business logic..
than create java project for wrapper class..
nw create enterpirse application project i.e. Ear project..
create .ear file for EAr project..deply it..
nw switch to Eaj p[roject nn right click on session bean..it will ask for new Web service ..create
n nw deply .Ear file n test Web service for WsNavigaor...

I have to post some data to a secured site from my application.
For this, I am creating connection to that site using URLConnection and to send data I create OutputStream using the connection.
But, while creating the stream it is showing SSLException and message is No trusted certificate found.
For this, I need to create SSL certificate (mostly using keytool command) and configure it with my application server which is JBOSS 4.0.1
Now, my problem is that I don't know the exact steps to create a certificate and configure it with JBOSS. Please provide the steps in detail.

I think you have this back to front. Unless this exception came from the server, in which case it is misconfigured, you don't have to create a certificate, you have to import the server's certificate, or that of one of its signers, into the client's truststore, and tell Java where the truststore is if it's in a non-standard location.

I created an application and in that application if date is changed the application starts from splash screen on re-entering and if date is not changed and u re-enters the application then it open in page where u leaved.Not working in USA timezone.

What are the different steps to follow in order to develop an application and deploy it into a PAC

Hi,
I developped a program on my computer but in order to deploy it in a PAC , I don't know what are the different steps to follow?
What are the difference between a stand alone application and communication with server mode.
Can the file which will be downloaded into the PAC be in a form othre than (.exe).
what does the deployment licence consist of??? is it a software?
if the file is .exe then how to maintain it?

   Since I'm familiar with FieldPoint PACs, I'll refer to that (but maybe it is similar for cRIO...).
   An embedded application (standalone), runs entirely and independently on the PAC, while if you're not doing this, you'll have your computer, with LabView, which is controlling the PAC. In this mode, application is dowloaded in PAC's RAM, so when you reboot controller, application will be lost. If you build an embedded application, you can provide for application to boot authomatically at boot, each time the PAC reboots. These are some basic stuffs on embedded applications with LV.
    To deploy an application to a PAC, you need LabVIEW + Real-Time module. Without it, you can't build an embedded application on PACs.
    usually, the file dowloaded is an .exe, and some libraries. What would you like to have, exactly? For example, I think you can buy a simple .exe, which is universal, which loads VIs dinamically, so you can download directly VIs, but I've never tried this way....
   Deployment license, I think, refer to PCs, id est, when you use a PC or PXI as embedded target, in PACs, you have it bundled (it seems to me) whit the PAC you buy, so you don't have to buy an extra license for every PAC you ship with your application. Otherwise, if you develop a Real-Time application for a PC, you will ship PC + OS licensed + Real-Time extension licensed, but this is not your case, since you'll use PACs.
   The maintain problem... I've already faced with! Simply, for my needs it was enough to make an application which loads configuration files, depending on different task the controller has to do. If you have to dowload a completely new version of VI.... it's better to deploy new application from LV. But maybe you can bypass this problem with dinamic VIs loading...

If there is no one to help me with this so simple project then I will have to quit trying. I am getting to much pressure to get this done and I just don't know how to proceed anymore. I have found a document on OTN that explain the basics of binding but it's to vast and too complicated under pressure. If someone could help me to bind this LOV I would appreciate this so much and then I could relax a little and read all the good documents that I have found on OTN.

BUG: Can't create BC4J Application Module Configurations

I'm using JDev 9.0.3.1 with Win2K and WinXP. There seems to be a bug in the BC4J Application Module Configuration Manager:
It seems to be impossible to create a new BC4J Application Module Configuration with the Configuration Manager of a BC4J Application Module. I can copy an existing AM configuration, but I can not rename it. Clicking on the OK Button in the Configuration Manager simply does nothing.
A work around seems to be to open bc4j.xcfg in any text editor, copy an AppModuleConfig element, save xcfg, in JDev remove the project form the workspace, readd it to the workspace (some caching issue of jdev?). Then the new AM config is there and can be modified.
In JDev 9.0.3 the Config Manager seems to work fine.

The external Aplication I found in the se80 ERC_C_APPL_MGMT_UI. But this link is only for external applications.
The other Links I try to find is for the portal. I need it in the ESS and the MSS.
I didn't find them in the package PAOC_RCF_UI_SELF_SERVICES.

For creating manual internal and external applications, the WebDynpro application is the same - ERC_A_APPL_MGMT. The component is the same ERC_C_APPL_MGMT_UI as you have said in your e-mail. In this component you can also check the view V_APPL_DATA and see that both fields for internal and external are available. The fields are determined at runtime based on whether you have selected 'Internal' or 'External' link in the portal. In the recruiter portal role, when configuring the pages for internal or external you use Application Parameter IS_INTERNAL. If IS_INTERNAL=X then this parameter will be passed to the component mentioned above and the system will know that it should display internal candidate fields. If IS_INTERNAL=' ' then system will display for external and this is the default.
You can click package PAOC_RCF_WD_UI > Web Dynpro > Web Dynpro Applicat and right click ERC_A_APPL_MGMT to test. When the page opens, you can add parameter &IS_INTERNAL=X to the URL and you will see it will change to internal application page.

I have EJB components and developed Web Dynpro application.
Is it possible to upload directly without using NWDS? My system is very slow while running NWDS.
I don't know how to upload or deploy those on WAS 6.4.

Hi,
The default SDM password is sdm, try this one.
1. Once login into SDM select Deployment tab.
2. Click the first Icon to add your .EAR files.
3. Continue the deployment process by clicking the Next button.
4. In last screen of the deployment Confirm the deployment.

Thanks my problem was solved.
But there is a problem after install IIS and ADCS , i restarted both server but didn't work ,but now(6 hours after restart) it work fine.
another Question is after i select appropriate certificate authority ,when i click on finish it gives me the following error
"the certificate request was submitted to the online authority but was not issued the request was denied"

Missing EJB application and tutorial sample in workshop 8.1

HI,
I just installed workshop 8.1 from the BEA CD. I wanted to follow the EJB tutorial
that's available in e-docs on the web, however, i don't see the Enterprise JavaBeans
tutorial (the Band example) in the list of new Applications (under tutorial).
I also don't see a new application template of Enterprise javaBeans under 'All'
(not sure if there should be one).
Could someone please let me know why I'm missing the Enterprise javaBeans tutorial
and how I can get it? Also, why don't I see an application template for EJB Application?

Extension Builder Creates mx:Application, and not csxs:CSXSWindowedApplication

I had been creating InDesign Extensions manually (i.e., without the ExtensionBuilder) up until now. I remember being told to use csxs:CSXSWindowedApplication for the panel.
We just recently got ExtensionBuilder, and I noticed that it creates mx:Application. Is this what it is supposed to be creating? Aside from the theoretical issue, there is the practical problem that I can't use the close() method which csxs:CSXSWindowedApplication has in order to close the panel.
I'd be greatful for an explanation.

mx:Application has less overhead than csxs:CSXSWindowedApplication maybe that's the reason it's the default.
You'll almost always want csxs:CSXSWindowedApplication though...

Programatically creating users, roles and insert them into Jazn xml

Hi All,
I am using ADF 11G and ADF BC to develop my application. Whenever a user is created an entry will go into OID and into DB. Admin will apply the roles and users for that roles through application. Once the administrator assigns the roles, the user need to see the appropriate menus based on the roles assigned.
If I use ADFSecurity, then I need to redeploy the application each and everytime an user is created and a role assigned to it. But I have to avoid the redeployment step. When ever admin assigns a role while approving the user, the same should be reflected in Jazn, so that I can use the securityContext to generate menus dynamcally.
Is there a way to do programatically the below:
1. Creating roles
2. Assigining Users
I want to use the functionality of ADFSecurity but programatically.
Any information/links/guidance is much appreciated.

You can configure WLS to use OID instead of jaxn.xml file.

Error In Eclipse While Creating EJB Application

I am using GlassFish application server.
IDE is Eclipse 3.3
After choosing newproject I have selected EJB and I have choosen GlassFish sever, after creating the project MyProject Folder is showing error in eclipse.
ejb-jar.xml file is showing error at ejb-jar tag.
Can any one have idea how to resolve this problem.

I think you need to post the stack trace error message to get a response.
