Create Inquiry without creating customer

Hi Experts,
I have one requirement to create inquiry without creating customer.
Actually the scenario is, marketing guys will get inquiries from known or unknown customers on their mail and if the material is available then they will create inquiry (va11) by only putting customer name(without creating).
Please put some light to achieve this requirement.

Create a dummy customer that you will use in all of this cases and maintain the real name in one of the text fields of the inquiry... as an example, use PO number. Using VA15 on the dummy client you will have a report on all inquiries... just bring the PO number in the report.

    How are you trying to restrict it? If you're trying to
    restrict it uniformly, for example, to entirely numerical inputs,

    to restrict multiple columns in the same manner, but for numeric
    only tables, it's pretty short.

  • Cant create customer invoice without MIRO in third party

    Hello There ,
    This is third party scenario
    I Have set  Billing relevance "F" in the parameter of item categary  of third party which help me in updating the status of sales order as completed as soon as first invoice gets created.
    but this Billing relevance 'F' only supports to create customer invoice only when invocie receipt(MIRO)
    is created then only we can create the customer invoice.
    My requirement is to create the customer invoice on the basis of MIGO quanity not on the MIRO quantity.
    And sales order Status should be completed as soon as the invoice gets
    created.
    Because MIRO will be created in future date.
    Whenever i try to create customer invocie after MIGO it throws as error that " Order is not relevant for billing"
    In other words it asks me to create MIRO document. As soon as i create MIRO document  , system will allow me to create customer invocie.
    Please help me in this.
    I want to create customer invoice after MIGO and before MIRO in case of third party while billing relevance is u2018Fu2019 in  item category.
    If you have any idea about this scenario, Please help me in this .

    Here the problem is My client they dont create customer invoice of total quantity.
    Flow is like this -
    Sales order       PO Quanity       MIGO              Invocie             MIRO
    1000LBS            1000 LBS         850 LBS         850 LBS          850 LBS
    Here in this scenario  they are going to deliver only 850 LBS .Rest 150 they will never deliver.
    So the status should be completed as soon as first invocie of quantity 850 LBS is created.
    Please guide me on this ,

  • Creating Custom Validators for ADF in JDev 10.1.3.1

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to create a validator to solve a seemingly common problem - that is given 2 dates (startDate & endDate), validate that endDate cannot be earlier than startDate.
    In my case, both startDate and endDate are in the same form. From the ADF Developers Guide, the recommended approach is to create the validation method on the page's backing bean. But in my application, there are many occurrences of startDate and endDate in other forms, therefore having the validation method on the backing bean might not be the best solution.
    I tried to create my own custom validator and tying it to a tag library stated in http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/tutorial/doc/JSFDevelop6.html#wp999130, but that didn't seem to work either. I'm not sure if creating custom validators by extending the ValidatorTag is supported in ADF.
    Would appreciate it if someone has any suggestions on how to create the validator that I need, without having validation methods that does the same thing all over my backing beans.

    Hi,
    of course, ADF Faces supports custom validators because it is compliant to the JSF APIs runnting on the JSF RI.
    Another approach for validation would be on the business service level. Assuming you use ADF BC, the EO can have a method validator defined that is automatically inherited by all its views. The disadvantage though is that the error message would have to come from the server, requiring custom error message handling for user friendly messages as described in the developer guide.
    Looking forward, in a next release of ADF the binding ayer will allow more complex validations thus not requiring to handle complex validation on teh business service.
    So far however I think that using a custom validator is the best you can do. Note that in the case of ADF BC the date is of type oracle.jbo.server.domain.Date and not java.util.Date, which might be a hint to check for your validator issue

    Hi all.
    I have a scenario to pass xml file to sap XI to generate IDOC to create customer master in SAP. My problem is that I need to return customer no. created in SAP from IDOC. Is there any solution to do this? Someone told me that BPM could be used for doing this but I don't know the steps.I have no problem in create customer master in SAP. My only problem is how to return customer no.  Any help would be appreciate. Thank you.

    This can not be done via sync-async bridge.There are 2 reasons for this
    1.He has file adapter as sender and that doesn't support synchronous scenarios.
    2.He has standard IDOC as receiver.there is no way you can fetch customer# from IDOC without writing a custom program,Thats why i said he need to either use RFC/Proxy or do some custom development.

    let me correct you.
    As the employee codeand you can maintain sales related data  T-Code
    PA30
      and through info type 900 sales org.,sales office,sales group.
    You can use sales employee code as a partner means who has taken order or during return who is responsible for return delivery.
    You can create emloyee no. as vendor (FI & CO intgrtaion) e.g. for salary,travel advence,etc.
    Hope this will help you the role of employee id and integrtaion.

    After having imported DC it has is/uces/ear ,is/uces/war & is/uces/java componets
    Created new DC for having different context node by importing xml files of standard is/uces/ear to is/ucesCustApp/ear.
    After creating Projects of all 3 Component ,what is does that it allow modification on standard is/uces/war & is/uces/java. Tried Creating custom is/uces/war & is/uces/java but builds fails reporting
    ERROR: Illegal dependency: Access list does not allow use of ..... various libraries for is/ucesCustApp/java. ( I updated dcdef file as it was in standard)
    Is there is anyway we can create new Custom DCs without impacting standard is/uces/war & is/uces/java on the Development server?

    My requirements is given below... which is the standard BAPI for create customer master data... then how to call workflow in web dynpro application without using portal server (uwl)... please reply as soon as possible
    1) Create customer master
    2) Change Customer master
    3) Display customer master
    4) When the customer master record is created it should trigger a workflow to another user for approval. Once approved, the customer master should be created in the system
    5)The customer master record creation should be through a bapi call.
    6) When the system master record is being created, duplication check should be performed for name, city, postal code,email I'd etc.

    I built a custom menu in BPC 7.5 using the step-by-step procedure available in u201CHow Tou2026 Create Custom Menu within BPC NWu201D. It uses the OPENFILE option with EvMnu to open dynamic templates describing this limit:
    The OPENFILE option within the NW Version can only open workbooks from cached directories in local PC. Therefore, it is a best practice to ensure that OPENFILE only refers to templates that are available as dynamic templates that are cached (updated template version) on all client PCs that are using the EvMnu based workbook.
    At the moment Iu2019m working with more than 40 users, which surely will increase. So, I have to find others solutions or automate the local saving:
    - Do I have to ask our users to save locally all dynamic templates?
    - Do you know if I can save automatically (not manually one-by-one) all dynamic templates in all client PCs allowing the OPENFILE option to work correctly?
    - Do you know if there are others solutions, like commands or macro (not BPF), to open dynamic templates from custom menu without local saving?

    Thank you for your quick answer. I need to open a single dynamic report for each link, not the complete report folder.
    OPENWEBFOLDER works correctly, but unluckily it doesnu2019t cover my issue.
    OPENWEBFILE could be the solution, but it doesnu2019t work. I used this syntax: 
    =EVMNU("OPENWEBFILE"," optional text ","REPORTS\TestReport.xlt")
    Clicking it, the system shows this message u201COPENWEBFILE: macro not supportedu201D.
    Do you know if OPENWEBFILE works correctly in BPC 7.5 NW?

  • Create Customer XD01 in Personas

    In Personas under XD01 Create Customer I have merged the tabs like the awesome tutorial said and I have used this method for Change and Display Customer just perfectly, but under Create it seems some of the blocks only show up if you enter the info and hit preview and then all of my block come back. In customizing the tabs we wanted into one screen I did the cacheable and visible, but is there another place I need to change info so all of the blocks will show up without having to enter and "refresh"?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I suspect this is due to having some required fields on certain tabs while also using tab caching. The required field check is executed when tab caching switches from one tab to another. I suppose you also get a message saying 'Enter required fields' or something like that, correct? Then, when you enter what's required, the missing fields show up.
    This is a common issue and I don't have a good solution for it yet... in fact, I'm just facing the same situation at another customer. If someone has a good idea how to solve it, please post.
    I tried to use the 'Additional actions' button in tab caching and use script to fill in some arbitrary values into the required fields using script but this doesn't work. Not sure why. The 'Additional actions' script options are very restricted, so I tried to push another script button there to fill in those values but this didn't have the desired effect.

  • Creating custom lists that are links to SharePoint sites.

    I am new to SharePoint 2013 Online and was wondering if there is a non-coding way to build a sub-site from a template that is not initially connected to a site collection. Attach this sub-site to a site an already existing site collection afterwards and
    use data from the sub-site that is created, to generate a custom list items that can also be used as links to the sub-site itself.
    How I thought this might work would be to create templates for site collections (if that is even possible), and then use a links list or some other type of linked list but not exactly sure how this is done in SharePoint.
    Any input on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated as well as any insight as to whether this is even possible to do with out coding. Thanks in advance.

    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create custom lists that are links to SharePoint sub-sites.
    I recommend to create a custom list and add a multiple line column to display the sub-sites url.
    Then create a workflow associate a custom list and use “Call HTTP Web Service" action and “Build Dictionary" action to get the count of the sub-sites.
    Then use the Loop Stage to create a new item in the custom list and set the multiple line column to the url you get in the dictionary.
