In order to create items in master items, via PLSQL you'll need to use oracle API for maintining items - EGO_ITEM_PUB.
The procedure you'll need is Process_Item.

Reversal FB08 Creating New OPEN ITEM instead of clearing the open item.

Dear All,
My user has an issue whenever he does any reversal Tcode - FB08 in one of the general ledger "Cash in Transit" nature "open item" & "Line item" instead of clearing the open it it creates a new open line item.
I have checked in Table BKPF , the reversal number is being updated but this items are still appearing open item in FBL3N and not appearing in F-04 (all reversals) for clearing.
Can any one share what can be the reason its creating new open item and how can i solve the issue for clearing the account.

- whether this is happening in all the reversal cases of Cash in transit
- Whether is user is just using FBRA (Onsly resetting) and not going for reversal
- Chances would be one or two partial clearing may have taken for single document for the offsetting accounts

Reconfigure sales BOM deletes line item and creates new line item

We are having issue with Sales BOM. Once sales BOM is reconfigure, line item is automatically deleted and creates new line item. These changes are not captured by reporting tool. Is it standard SAP behavior? if its not standard behavior, how to fix this issue?

If i am not wrong, i assume you are using site instead of plant. If it is plant , then "yes", we can have a order with same material being line item 10 and 20 with different plants. Reg delivery, if the plants are configured to a same shipping point then you will have one delievery. if the plants are configured for a different shipping point , then delivery will be split up.

Problems creating the Master Repository with MS SQL Server 2000

I can't create the Master Repository with MS SQL Server 2000 database.
Wath is the correct adress in the URL?
I select the Driver: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver and the URL: *jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://<host>:<port>;SelectMethod=cursor[;<property>=<value>...]*

JDBC Driver is:

jdbc:sqlserver://serverName\instance:port;property=value[;property=value]

Programatically create new mail item and open - body text lost on subsequent saves

Hi,
I have a problem with trying to create new GroupWise mail item from a
button in a C3PO. I require programmatic access to this via the Object
API, so it must be a saved draft. This is relativley straight forward to
do - just create a mail item using the object API, and then use the Token
API to open this item.
This worked fine in 6.5.0, however in 6.5.1 and 6.5.2 I have noticed that
when the user does a subsequent save, the body text of the message
dissappears in the GUI (it is updated correctly in the draft however) -
and all subsequent saves cause the body text to dissappear. If you close
the mail item and open the draft manually you can continue as normal.
As a test, I also tried to use the Token API to create a new mail item,
and then again to save the item in the work in progress folder. This
seems to work fine the very first time you do this, but each subsequent
time the same behaviour is seen - i.e. the body text of the email is
deleted from the GUI. Also, another observation here, event though the
mail item was saved in the WIP folder via the token API command
ItemSaveMessageDraft, it moves into the users MailBox when the user saves
it manually.
I have posted the two snippets of code from my test C3PO project at then
end.
This is a major problem, as we need to be able to reliably create new mail
items from a toolbar button, so any help very much appreciated.

Issues when creating new web items (chart) - No BLOB!

Background:
We have created a copy of the SAP standard class: CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_CHART, named: ZCL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_CHART and maintained the tables:
- rsrrenderer
- rsrrendereratr
- rsrrenderert
Problem occurred:
-When running a chart using our new web item its not possible to change chart type other than the default type, bar chart. We have noticed that, for the new web item, the parameter TMP_CHART_DATA_HANDLE is not copied to the HTML-code as for the standard web item (CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_CHART) when executing Edit chart in the properties tab. When debugging the code we notice that no BLOB is being created for our copy-web-item, and that's why no chart-settings are changed.
Questions:
1.How to get the functionality edit chart to work properly in the new class ZCL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_CHART?
3.If its not possible to use the edit chart functionality in a copied web item then whats the attribute to use in the HTML editor in Web Application Designer in order to set chart type? Or any other suggestions...

Try this. Execute the following in a SQL window started by a userid that has been granted the USER ADMIN system privilege:
ALTER USER BODS1 VALID FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER;
You can use a date instead of FOREVER --- '2016-12-31 23:59'.

When I look at the demo on the page it fires the same response as that is part of the error handling because it is a standalone HTML and not on a sharepoint server so I am wondering if something I am missing on the submit.click function or batchcmd.
I included the entire code for it to see if maybe you can see something I am not. My crossword is on a Sharepoint Server

Create new line item while saving a new order

I have a requirement to create a new line item with different item category while creating an order.
i.e
if the item category is ICT1, then create a new line item like item 1 but with item category ICT2.
Also in the conditions tab, we need to update the condition type with different values for both existing and new item.
All this has to be in VA01 i.e on save.
I tried to append lines of structure XVBAP at SAVE_DOCUMENT _PREPARE by changing the item no and item caegory. This works fine. But, how can I get other table details like XKOMV(which stores pricing condition details) for the new item?
Please can you suggest any other exit/subroutine for this?
or any other alternative solutions

Create new Master Repository - oracle technology exist in logical topology

I have created a new master repository using the 'Create Master Repository' function in to an ORacle database user. This was all successful and I can sign in to topology manager as SUPERVISOR.
However I notice that the physical topology includes the 'oracle' technology in the list but this is NOT present in the logical topology.
When I import our models and projects that were developed elsewhere they fail becasue they are based on the oracle technology and this does not exist in the logical topology.
If I try to create the oracle technology or import it I get an error index violation on AK_TECHNO which is the index on the SNP_TECHNO table.
In the physical topology the oracle technology is shown as being both 'physical' and 'logical' (both check boxes are checked).
Any ideas ?

Turned off the hide unused technologoes and there they all are - including Oracle.................
So that explains why it appeared at some point before - once some data servers had been defined etc...........
I have my dataservers and schemas loaded now in the physical topology - but they are still not shoinwg in the logical topology - I think this is due to the data server in physical not being in the correct context. When I click the physical dataserver and go in to the contexts tab and choose global I get the error message (logical topology not configured for this context).

Cannot select Item Type when creating new Backlog Items

According to the documentation, when creating a new Backlog Item in TFS Online (https://www.visualstudio.com/get-started/create-your-backlog-vs),
illustration #3 shows that you should be able to select the Item Type from a combo box.
However, I can’t. Mine just shows “Product Backlog Item”.
How come I don’t have a combo box to select the Item Type?
I’m trying to create an item with a type of “Bug” as shown in illustration #4.

You can enable bugs in backlog by following the instructions in below picture.
Or you can work with Bug WIT in the same level as Task WIT by selection option as below.

Substitution to create new line item

Hi,
I am looking for a way of creating an additional line item when posting an FI document (incoming payment) based on one of the documents actual line items.
(well, actually the customer is looking for this...) ;o)
Something like:
IF line item account number EQ 1234 THEN
   Check how many invoices are paid by this transaction
   Check something in SD via the invoice number for all line items
   Based on findings, create a new line item.
END IF.
Can I do this via a substitution and user exit?
Did anyone ever do something like this?

Problem to create "New Database Diagram" in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio for SQL Server 2012 SQL Express

I have installed SQL Server 2012 Express edition (name of installation media: en_sql_server_2012_express_edition_with_advanced_services_x64.exe) from MSDN and I have installed the application on my pc with Windows 7 Exterprise.
Everything is working fine except when I am trying to create "New Database Diagram", where I recieve following error message:
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. (Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop)

I have tried two times to reinstall SQL Server 2012 Express and I have installed Cumulative Update #3 for SQL Server 2012 and restarted the machine, but I have still the same problem with the same error message.
Installed the following fixes:
1) 2012_RTM_DAC_CU3_2723749_11_0_2332_x64
2) SQLServer2012_RTM_CU3_2723749_11_0_2332_x64
These files was installed successful.
How can I solve the problem?

Hi Jan,
Have you installed Visual Studio in your machine?
The problem seems to be related to installing and uninstalling the VS 2011 RC0 program.
The workaround involves copying the files from another PC with SQL 2008 or 2012 from one machine to another. Just replace this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\MSDesigners8

Go to ME54N > Here reverse Release of PR and then add the new line item and then release it again.
OR if you don't want to do as above then Go to SPRO > MM > Purchase Requisition > Release Procedure > Procedure with Classification > Set Up Procedure with Classification > Release indicator > Here for Release indicator "2" (RFQ/purchase order), if you have entered Changeabil. as "1" then change it to "4"
Also check if you have assigned a Field Selection Key as only Display PR then you have to change it or remove it.

AO Create new line items/new data records

the planning query I use is using characteristic relationships. There are no free characteristics.
All characteristics are somehow derived by relationship or restricted with single values via variables.
I tried to define the planning kpi as no disaggregation, but even though it doesn´t work.
The query is ready for input and I can enter, recalculate and save the data.
But I got the kpi in the rows and as soon as I drag the key figure into the columns it is working.
