Create new work center in HR by using bapi.

Hello, everyone.
I'm trying to create a new work center in HR related to an organizational unit by using the bapi: BAPI_HRMASTER_SAVE_REPL_MULT.
For some reason I'm getting an error message:
"Object [work_center_id] does not exist in status 1".
This status comes from the field PL_STATUS at 1001, 1032 infotypes that I'm sending to the bapi.
Does anyone have a solution for me ??

Hi,
In addition to the above post, you need to identify that:
1. Whether you need separate activity types and cost center for the newly created work center. These details are entered in the Costing View of the Work Center.
If these are required then use KL01 to create new activity, KP26 to define the activity price.
If required create cost element using T Code KA01 and Cost Center using KS01.
Take help from the CO guy on this.
2. Also you need to ask the concerned about the operating times for the wor center. That is Start time and End time of WC. It is used for capacity evaluation and scheduling of the orders. It is maintained in the capacity view (Bottom left Button in the view).
this view will also contain the details regarding the calendar, to be assigned to the work center, if needed. Collect details for this requirement. Also you can assign a different calendar to WC apart from factory calendar.
3. Find out whether this WC will be operating in shifts or not. Accordingly maintain the details.

How do I create a new Work Center for the transaction launcher and links

Hi
The requirement here is for me to find out if I can create a new Work Center that will contain up to 6 assignment blocks and each block having either links to websites and BW reports, or triggers to R/3 applications via the transaction launcher.
Can I do this purely through customising or do I need to create a new view using BSPs? If I can do it through customising please could I have a few pointers to what component I would need to use/copy?

Just so I understand, if I want to show a work center I need to link it to a component / view? I think this was the original query - do I need a developer to create the view that contains the 6 blocks with their links to reports, transactions and websites? I think when I talk about blocks I mean 1 viewset containing 6 views. There is no SAP standard view that would suit my requirements is there? Even if the work center had 8 views, I can always hide the two views in configuration.
After the developer has created the view, I then reference that component in the target Id in the define logical links section of my work center.
If my understanding is right, then it follows that it is not possible to create a user specific work center without some development.
Is this correct?

Finder - Create new files directly from a folder using finder ?

In Finder, is there a way to do a right-click in a folder and create a new file like: New Text File or New Document from that location?
I used to do this oftenly in Windows (right click, New Word document) but I have not found it in Mac OS X, any work around ?

Try the [Apple feedback page|http://www.apple.com/feedback>. However, note that this is unlikely to be added. It would be a very cumbersome feature.
On Windows, you're almost guaranteed to be tied to a particular set of document creation tools. If you're using an office suite other than MS Office, you're so weird you might as well be using a Mac! This means that commands like "New Document" make sense there.
On a Mac, a "document" could be created with MS Word, Pages, TextEdit, NeoOffice, OpenOffice, Mellel, Nisus Writer Marinter Write, or any of a host of other programs. (Mac users tend to put less emphasis on the popular tool and prefer to use the tool that "fits the hand" best.) Further complicating things is the fact that "document" is a very generic term, since every spreadsheet is a document, every Photoshop file is a document, etc. The contextual menu would rapidly become unmanageable if it had to fill up with "New Whatever Document" commands for every app on your hard drive!
It is possible for you to add your own custom services to the contextual menu using AppleScript or Automator, and you should be able to create services to create new documents for the apps you use frequently. Check on the [AppleScript forum|http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=724] for guidance on how to do this.

Error message when creating a Work Center

A new machine was bought recently. When trying to create a new work center with CR01 by copying an equivalent one, an error message appear in tab u201CCostingu201D, saying that u201CActivity Type L003 not set up for cost center 02 13730u201D. How is it possible affect activities the new cost center 13730?

You have to setup activity type for this work center.
You need to maintain rare for this activity for current year.
Transaction code :KP26
Enter your Controlling area, Period as 1 to 12, year as 2011, your cost center and Activity type as L003.
In overview, maintain rate in the variable rate column and Fixed rate column.

Work Center Changes need data for previous and new work center

Hi All,
I have a requirement as the organisation is going through RESTRUCTURING. In ECC in Plant Maintainance they are changing Work Center. E.G.
Work Center OLD : ABC
Work Center NEW : XYZ
Now the requirement is I have data for ABC already coming in BI Prod. Env. Now when they will change ABC to XYZ the new data will come for XYZ.
Reporting Reqmt:
Data In Cube
Work Center     No. of Maintainence Orders
ABC                             10
XYZ                             20
When user run the report it should and gives input in Work Center variable as " XYZ" then
XYZ -- 30
Presently it is showing
ABC --10
XYZ --20
They have list of OLD Work Center mapping to NEW Work Center.
Now, Can anyone tell me is it possible to achive this scenario.

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: [FMWGEN][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]CREATE TABLE permission denied in database 'master'.
I suppose you don't wish to create ODI repository in master database, this master database is used by MS SQLServer itself, and it's very critical in the whole SQLServer instance.
you should use a separate database for ODI, you can use sa to own this database, but please add ";datbaseName=<your ODI database>" in the JDBC URL, then it won't try to find master database.
If you like we suggest you use RCU to create repository.

Creating new sales-order item with text using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE

Hi all.
I want to create new sales-order item in an existing sales-order by using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE. This works fine.
I also want to enter item-texts for the new item in the same call, but this doesn't work.
When I call the BAPI I do not assign an item-number for the new item, thus I have no item-number to assign to ITM_NUMBER in table ORDER_TEXT. IF ITM_NUMBER is empty, it's treated as a header text....
Any clues?

increment the last itemnumber and pass it to that.
if they are following a sequence 10,20,30.
find the next sequence and send it to the ITEMNUMBER field.
or else you add the text after the Function call.

Create new Game Center account option not appearing on iPad mini or iPhone 6

I Am trying to create a second Game Center account so that my son can keep his clash of clans village and I can keep mine. When I log out of Game Center, though, no option to create a new game center account appears (as all the tutorials I have read indicate that it should). I have tried logging out from app on both devices to no avail. When I log out though the device settings under Game Center, my only options are to sign back in or follow a link for forgotten I'd or password... I need help.

Creating a new iTunes account does not remove any purchases made on a different account.

Or if you will want to use it in the stores and don't want to give credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
Or if you are not currently logged into an account in game centre then you should have a 'create a new Apple id' link at the bottom of the login screen in it.

Creating new work order - error on %001

Hi all,
Creating a new work order from the SAP Work Manager 6.0 application should be a standard functionality,
However, on the system of our client, this goes wrong.
Upon creating a new work order, we get the error 'Enter a numerical operation number'.
New objects get an ID that starts with 'LOCAL_xx:xx:xx', which is converted to %001.
SAP should recognize this and convert this automatically to 0010, 0020, ...
how come this does not happen?
it works fine on our SAP system, our customer's system gives an error.

Have you done any enhancement to standard product "specifically create method of Work Order Class handler" . or the standard product functionality itself is not working ?
I don't see any reason why it works in your system but not in customer system. Try to put break point in create method of Work order class handler and check what values are passed for operation number before invoking Work Order create BAPI.
Infact Work Manager product converts local numbers to incremental sequential numbers before invoking create BAPI for Work Order.

Create new Profit Center?

Hi,
We want to create 2 new profit centers. What are the necessary steps to be consider before create a new profit center? Is it reqd to create Profit Center Group, Standard Heirarchy, Dummy Profit Center etc., I am very new i.e., y am asking basic things.
Is there any way to copy from existing profit center? or can i copy profit center group from existing PC group in TC: KCH1? If i can do this i think all profit centers are copied to new PC group. How to achive this?

8.Create profit center(KE51)
9.Assignment of profit centers in cost centers(KS02)
10.creation of revenue elements(KA01 or FS00)
11.maintain automatic account assignment of revenue elements(OKB9)
12.defone number ranges for local documents(GB02) both for actual and plan documents.
13.choose additional balance sheet and P&L accounts(3KEH)
These are the configuration steps.
Standard hierarchy and dummy profit centers must to be created before creation of profit centers.
