Creating a scheduled task to sync phone's using PC...

I have two NOKIA (bluetooth) Phones and want to create a scheduled task to synchronise their agenda to outlook without user involvment. Using PCSync2 and some batch file I can get the synchronisation to work.
One problem however remains. When both telephones are connected then a "phone selection" window appears. You have to manually choose which telephone to use. This makes the scheduled (automatic) task to wait for user involvment.
I have two questions:
1
are there any commandline parameters or registry settings to make clear which telephone to use during the next sync, and the selection window not to appear?
2
Are there any commandline parameters or registry settings to have PC Suite think that just one telephone is present (that the second one is temporary inactive or switched off). Then again the selection window would not appear.

Creating a Scheduled Task using PowerShell v4

So here is my question. I'm trying/wanting to create a scheduled task using PowerShell v4 on Server 2012R2. I want to task to run on the 1st day of every month. The parameter for -Monthly -Day is not available. I need to use PowerShell
to create the Scheduled Task because the Task will be running with a group Managed Service Account credentials so the Scheduled Task can not be created via the Task Scheduler GUI.

Im running out of space, how do I clear old content temp files old apps?
i have done the browser cache and cleared history.I am clearing items off the macbook pro but is there other areas i should clean

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Temp files get automatically deleted when you restart. Old apps you can either uninstall (if it was originally installed with an installer, there should be an uninstaller somewhere) or drag it to the trash. What's "old content"?

After writing above code ,we have to create jar file.
Steps To Be Follwed In OIM Design Console
1)Copy jar file in ScheduleTask folder of your OIM server installation.
2)Expand administration tree & select TaskScheduler.
3)Create new task & in class name textfield we have to mention package.classname & mention appropriate values in other textfields & execute it.
4)Check output.

We need to override 2 methods while extending from SchedulerBaseTask i.e
init() :- this method is run before execute by the scheduler .
execute() :- is executed by the scheduler.

I don't know what you're basing the 'every three hours' thing on, but if you're looking at the bill from your carrier, remember that data usage is not reported in real time. It's reported in batches. It's more likely that the data usage is being 'reported' every three hours.
Look in Settings>Cellular. You can see how much data each app has used and control what's allowed to use cellular data and what's not.

Need help in creating script for "Task Schedule" in Oracle E-Bussiness Suit

Hi,
I need some urgent help regarding the scripting of Oracle E-Business Suite application. I am new towards working on Oracle Applications. I have been using LoadRunner 11.0 and protocol oracle applications 11i for the scripting of the application. The problem is as follows:
Scenario- Schedule an incident to a resource.
1) Log in to the application.
2) Open Oracle Forms Page.
3) Enter the details of the incident number.
4) Right click on the incident number and then select “schedule” option.
5) Check / Select the resource listed in the new form.
6) Click on “schedule” Button.
7) Exit the oracle forms.
8) Logout from the application.
I have recorded the scenario but when I try to run the script, it fails after completing the 4th step from the scenario mentioned above. I have done all the required co-relations..
Another issue that I have noticed in the scipt is that it records a lot of requests to the AppsTCFServer.
When I check the Tree View of the script, I have found that there are around 25 requests to the AppsTCFServer recorded in the script. In the header of these requests a TCF Start/Session number gets generated randomly. This number stays the same in few AppsTCFServer request headers and then a new number gets generated and the cycle continues.
However LoadRunner does not generate this number by itself during replay. I cannot find this number in any previous responses.
In the last few days, I have tried my hands on Oracle Openscript tool to record the above scenario, but still I am getting the same problem, i.e instead of getting the correct response from the server for the AppsTCFServer requests, I am getting the message "X-session 7098.... not found - aborting ".
I get this message whether I use LoadRunner tool or the OpenScript tool.
Please help me solve this issue.

This isn't much of a "code-sharing" site but a "knowledge-sharing" site. Code posted me may be from a questioner who has a problem / issue / error with his code. But we don't generally see people writing entire scripts as responses to such questions as yours. There may be other sites where you can get coding done "for free".
What you could do is to write some of the code and test it and, if and when it fails / errors, post it for members to make suggestions.
But the expectation here is for you to write your own code.

I used Computer Associates ver.7.0.0.117 to clear temp files and cache. Firefox won't open a window since though it shows in processes.

I've been using Firefox up until last night when I shut down. This morning I did a cache cleaning using CA Internet Security Suite, ver 7.0.0.117. Firefox will not open a window, though it does show in the Processes list of Task Manager.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled ver 6 from the web twice with the same results.
Firefox has had a tendency to hang (never finding a new website, i.e. busy icon revolves endlessly) when left open over several hybernation cycles.

Ok my firefox restarts all the time. I play games on facebook and my cursor restarts alot. I have cleared cache and temp files. when I click on something I get the little blue wait circle all the time. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, didn't help.

I move my cursor and it stops and the little circle appears. It takes a few seconds for the cursor to come back. Sometimes as I'm playing the page refreshes. I have windows 7. How do I get back my earlier version of firefox? All my plug ins are up to date.

Never mind, it somehow fixed itself. At least the itunes store did, but my ipod nano is still not able to sync.

Scheduled Task to run as Local System cannot access the Netlogon Share in Windows 8.1

I've created a Scheduled Task that is setup to run as the local System Account which uses cscript.exe to execute a VBScript residing on the Domain Netlogon Share. It works perfectly on Windows 7, but fails miserably on Windows 8.1. When I open a command
prompt as the System account and try to run the script from the Netlogon share manually, I get the following error:
CScript Error: Loading script \\<FullyQualifiedomainName>\Netlogon\xyz.vbs failed (The account used is a computer account. Use your global user account or local user account to access this server. ).
Is there something different I need to set in Windows 8 to get this to run?

How did you set it? Please set it as the following steps:
1.Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler
2.In the Task Scheduler window double click your task, and on the "General" tab, under "Security options" section, click the "Change User or Group" button.
4.Make sure "From this location" is set to the local machine name (to change click "Locations" button and select the local computer name)
5.Type "SYSTEM" in the text box and press ok . Under "When running the task, use the following user account:" you should see "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM".

Create Scheduled Task in GPOPref using System account - issue

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a scheduled task (computer configuration) in GPOPref which is executed by the system account. Creating locally and running the task manually is running without issues.
When I'm creating the task in a GPOPref using a domain account the task is installed on the targetsystem. When just changeing the account to System and run gpupdate the task is not deployed.
Any hints or workaround? Thanks for you help in advance.

Please post the XML of your task in the state that is not working (right
click - all tasks - display xml).

Cannot create scheduled task, access denied

Windows Server 2003 R2
I am logged in as a local administrator and cannot create a scheduled task:
[Task Scheduler]
The new task could not be created.
The specific error is:
0x80070005: Access is denied.
Try using the Task page Browse button to locate the application.

My research lead me to look look in the Group Policy Object Editor for:
Windows Settings > Security Settings > File System > %SystemRoot%\Tasks
On this machine, there is no "File System" folder. In the MSDN Library, I find:
"The File System folder is available only in Group Policy objects associated with domains, OUs, and sites. The File System folder does not appear in the Local Computer Policy object."
Any ideas?

The Administrators group lack permission on the C:\WINDOWS\Tasks folder.
Resolution:

Start - Run - CMD - C:/windows - CACLS TASKS /E /G builtin\administrators:F
The steps above grant Administrators group full control permission to the C:\WINDOWS\Tasks folder.

Do the following:
From the oracle home (oracle_idm1) run the command <ORACLE_OIM_HOME>\common\bin\wlst.cmd
Run the connect() command and connect with the weblogic user to the to the oim managed server (port 14000)
Use the following command change your from location to the directory where your files are at. The location should be one folder up from the base "db" directory : importMetadata(application='oim', server='oim_server1', fromLocation='e:/files', applicationVersion='*')
