Create sets automatically or using a program

Hi,
Is there away to automatically create or change sets, transaction code GS01 and GS02, from using a FM or BAPI? I have to create basic sets and single sets. How have you handled this? Is it a manual procedure that one will have to maintain the sets?
Has anyone written a BDC program to make this work? I have not done this for years. Would the BDC programming be the solution for this?

Would you happen to have some code for an example? It only can be used for GS02 and GS03. Would you happen to know is there is one for GS01? Would you think then I should try to use GS01 anyway.

Path and ClassPath:
PATH
In Windows 9x you would set it up in the autoexec.bat file
ie.
SET PATH=%PATH%;c:\jdk1.4.2\bin\;
where c:\jdk1.4.2\ is the path where you installed Java.
In Windows 2000 and XP
Right click on My Computer->Properties->Advanced Tab->Environment Variables... Button.
If you see a PATH in System Variables, click that and edit it. If you don't, you will need to create a new System variable.
It should look something like this:
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;c:\jdk1.4.2\bin\;

Create Node in Solar01 using ABAP Program

Hi Experts
In our project, the integration between ARIS and Solution Manager is not working. So the project team has decided to develop a workaround solution for this problem. The solution is we download all the BPP & BPS from ARIS into an excel file. We should upload the file and create the necessary BPP/BPS nodes in SOLAR01 using an ABAP program. Now we have the file and the below data in file.
We have the parent level SAP GUID in the file. Using this as reference we need to create the below two nodes.
ARIS Level 4 Sub-Process - This should be created as Solution Manager Business Process Node
ARIS Level 5 Task - This should be created as Solution Manager Business Process Step Node
Can anyone of you have done any similar development to the above? I will really appreciate if you can provide me with some function modules or any pseudo code or the approach to achieve this requirement.

There is no need of creating a program
this functionality is available in Solution manager 7.1 to upload via content files like excel sheet etc

Creating a Arabic PDF using SQR program

How to create a packet by using java?

Hi, i am currently working on a research and i have some problems here.
1) how to create a packet by using java programming ?
2) How can i set the packet's information (e.g: packet's length, size of its header, etc) by using java?

define the header size, the packet's length etc. in
the program......Then you get to write it to the connection yourself. Look at the OutputStream classes to see how to write low level output to a connection.

How to set automatically TECO

That means if i want that at the starting of every months all the confirmed process/Prod. order get TECO automatically.

Hi,
Setting automatic TECO is not possible in std SAP. But you can do mass TECO of your production/process order using T. Code COHV / COHVPI. Also you can set batch job using the program name of COHV.

Dear Reddy,
FB01 is the generic and classic transaction to post an FI document. There is no difference at all with F-43 and F-22 that are only linked to a specific document type and posting key.

Hi Everyone,
I have a program that sends information(analog output) to lab windows cvi in the form of a text file or user input.
The program runs on the computers that I have the field point explorer and lab windows cvi installed on. In order to run the program without always installing labwindows/cvi and field point; I wanted to create an executable file that could be load on another computer.
I used the create distribution kit part of labwindows/cvi to do this.After creating the distribution kit, I then installed it
to another computer.
My user interface appears on the screen, when the user clicks on the exe. file, but no data is sent to the field point module. I know that the data is being read from the user and textfile because in it appears in the uir.
The following are some details about the problem:
1. On another computer without labwindows/cvi and field point explorer not installed - no data is sent to field point module
I know this because a current is being read on the current meter connected to field point module.
My questions are the following:
1. What are the possible reasons for the data not being sent to the field point module?
2. Do I still need to create an iak. (Installing Field point Explorer) file stored on any new computer that I install my created distribution kit file too?

1) If you do not install FieldPoint Explorer, the FieldPoint Server is not installed so there is nothing on the target computer that knows how to talk to the FieldPoint system.
2) Yes, you need an IAK file on the target computer. Assuming the settings (i.e. com port#) are identical you can simply include the iak file as part of the distribution.
3) You also need to include as part of your installer the file "fplwmgr.dll". If this file is not installed, your program will not be able to access the FieldPoint Server. Alternatively, this file is installed automatically if FieldPoint Explorer detects LabWindows/CVI or Measurement Studio Development versions on the target computer or if you choose to do a custom FieldPoint Explorer installation and
choose to provide LabWindows/CVI support.

You can try this using the Userexit in PR.So once the RFQ or Agreement is created for the PR then the ststus will be changed.

I use BlueHost webhosting that has a primary domain and I have several domains with that account (as sub-domains or folders on this server) - with past versions of Muse when uploading pages it simply opened an alert window to tell me (what I already know) that the website I was uploading does not point to the primary domain BUT NOW Muse tries to create a new separate folder in the root directory of the primary domain - completely ignoring the directory path I am giving it - useless! Why make these senseless changes to the program - and so often - very frustrating it is like amateur ware!.

There are some issues with the upload to ftp via Muse, which the engineering team is aware of and those will be fixed in a future build of Muse. At this point the work around would be to export the html from Muse and then upload via some third party ftp client like filezilla.

Creating seach help to be used in program as F4 help

Dear All,
I need to create a Search help using two fields, SAKNR and BUKRS. Please help regarding all the parameters.
After the search help is created i need to use it in my program so that when the user clicks on SAKNR the value in BUKRS field should come automatically.

Hi Anurag,
You can create search help in transaction 'SE11'.
There select the Search Help radio button and give the name for your search help.
On the next screen it asks you the 'Selection Method' , there you have to give the table name from where the values will be taken .
Next to that in ' Dialog behavior ' select 'display value immediately'.
Give all the search help parameters for which you want the values to be displayed.
for example in your case SAKNR and BUKRS .
in LPos give the number in which place you want the particular field to be displayed.
This is the procedure to create the search help .
there are standard search helps available , you can use them as well .

SC Uploading Program to create SC automatically.

We use the classic scenario with SRM server 5.5
Sometime enduser should create SC with line items 100-300.
For this reason, my customer wants uploading program to create SC.
First of all, enduser will make the excel file with material code, price, qty.
And then user convert file type (excel  text) to upload.
Could you explain the way how to create SC?
Which FM can we use to create SC automatically during uploading the file?

Hello , you can use FM BBP_PD_SC_CREATE to create a shopping cart, in order to have a shopping cart created you will have to read some additional data.
You will have to prepare an header and define a guid for it, this guid has to be used in the 'parent' field of the items, you will also have to generate a guid for the items and use it when creating the accounting lines, the partner functions lines and the organizational structure informations. For example
header-guid = 1.
item-parent = 1.
item-guid = 2.
accounting-guid = 3.
accounting-p_guid = item-guid.
partner-partner_guid = 4.
partner-p_guid = item-guid.
organization-guid = 5.
organization-p_guid = item-guid.
You can assign the shopping to a user defining his business partner as role '00000016' in the partner function table
After you have called BBP_PD_SC_CREATE and receive no error messages you will have to call BBP_PD_SC_SAVE to have the shopping cart saved.
