Create SiteCollection and assign Property to be used in onet.xml

Hi,
I need to create a SiteCollection and I want o assign during a creation a propertybag value or something similar that can be used from SiteFeatures that fire during processing of the onet.XML.
any idea?

Hi,
You can achieve this using SharePoint Feature Stapling feature. You can create your custom property using Feature stapling feature and attached the feature to the site template.
Whenever you create a site collection, there will be custom property will be available. You can set this property value using any one of the following options.
PowerShell
CSOM
JavaScript
Server-side code.
Or use the CodePlex solution to set the property bag value. The following is the link for codeplex solution

I am planning to create groups by program and assign users to them based on some condition.Once users are assigned to those groups we need to change the Language value for those users in User profile

1- Create ROLE data_entry
2- Now open the Form Builder --> open Mennu.mmb --> F4,it open the property pallete --> Set use secturity option
YES and in Module Role option set Roles --> form_entry
5- Press F3 (Come back in Navigator Pane) then double click on Mennu, it open Mennu which is attached Forms then
double click on that one Form which attach Role with it --> click on Item Role --> and attach the Role
6- Go start Mennu --> Oracle Form6i-Admin --> Build after this it will ask
‘Enter System Passwors’ then Give the Local Password.
'Enter database connection ( e.g. t:node:SID) [LOCAL] ' Give ORCL ( but me confused what should i give over
here)
7- Create User DEO Identified By DEO
8- Grant DBA to DEO
9- Grant data_entry to DEO
When i run my application and get login by DEO user then i receive this Error:
FRM-10247: No activate items in root menu of application.
please let me know where i am making mistake

Just check your second point.

YES and in Module Role option set Roles --> form_entryHere, you are using "form_entry" role to the menu but you've granted data_entry role to the user.
Hence, at run time forms is expecting user with form_entry role, which it's not getting.

Best way to create tasks and assign to sharepoint groups

Hi everyone, I have a custom list which contains newsletter info that is to be seen by around 400 groups (they are stores) and then I need them to mark each list item as 'completed'
I have been trying to figure out the best way to do this and decided to keep the custom list and somehow link it to a task for each item in the list. We have nintex so was thinking of creating a workflow to create a separate task for each group (store) so
they can mark it as completed.
Is this the best way to go about it or am I completely off track?
Basically all I need is a list which contains around 30 items and around 400 groups (stores) which contain users (store staff) to be able to mark items on the list as completed so it recognises that each store has completed each task.

According to your description, you want to find the best way for creating tasks for 30 list items and assigning the task to around 400 groups.
For the workflow, it is heavy that you need to create around 12000 (30*400) tasks . In my opinion, the best way is to do with a custom timer job. For more information, you can refer to the

Create users and assigning them security on the Entity dimension

Hi All,
I’m working with Hyperion ESSBASE 11.1.1.3 and Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3 and I have a problem related to create new users (without admin permissions) and assigning them security on the Entity dimension.
When I access with these users to a Dataform in Planning appears these message:
“Security and/or filtering has resulted in a required dimension not being represented on this data form”
I have followed these steps:
- I have created new users (Native Directory) and provision them against essbase and the planning application in Shared Services.
- I have expanded the essbase server > security > refresh security from shared services > all users.
- I have assigned security roles in all members of Entity dimension in Planning.
- I have refreshed database and security filters in Planning.

You will have to apply security to all the standard dimensions and not just entity, so that will be account, entity, scenario and version.

If you only use dID, you need to use: putLocal("RevisionSelectionMethod", "Specific")
I never got this working with strictly dID. Once I fed it dDocName and then used the below it got rid of the error:
putLocal("RevisionSelectionMethod", "Latest")

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create, delete and edit SharePoint alerts using Client Object Model or Rest API.
In SharePoint Client Object Model, there is very little that you can achieve when it comes to alerts.
For changing alerts, there is a ChangeAlert class:
change alert class
For Deleting alerts, you can call deletealert web service:
DeleteAlerts
For creating new alerts, it seems no such API support this, a workaround is call the new alert form "SubNew.aspx" using JavaScript to achieve it.

OLE - Creating header and footer in Word document using abap

Hi All,
I'm using OLE to create a WORD document from abap.
I need to insert a logo in the header and a footer text.
Does any one know how to insert a header/footer with abap ole ?
I tried to insert the logo as picture with:

i'm in CUA context ; in ABAP, when i use the FM BAPI_USER_CREATE1 the new user is well created in all system now i want to assign new roles to this user. Which FM can i use and especially can i assign role to user in a client system ?

GOS - Create URL and assign to a material

Hi,
I am trying to develop a prorgam to assign an URL to a material using GOS. I have tried to use the function module BDS_BUSINESSDOCUMENT_CREA_URL but it is not working.
I have come accross a program which does something similar to an invoice. I have copied this logic which uses the method cl_binary_relation=>create_link but it is still not working.
I can see that the available business objects for a material are: -
BUS1001006
BUS1001
MDMMARA
I have tried all three still without success.
Has anybody done anything similar and can let me know what I may be doing wrong.

This is the first time i am working on CRM Marketing Campaign, and i dont know the process of creating a Campaign id for a Target Group created for BP's. Please do help me in providing me any program or link where i can find the sample programs for creation of campaign id, Campaign Element, Profile Set, Target Group, Assigning BP's to Target Group.. Target group is a group of BP, like a BP list. It's a kind of master data which can be used in business transaction.
And profile set is a base of target group, just like Product Hierachy and Product category. Each target group should belong to a profile set. So create the profile set, before you create target group.
Campaign is a kind of Marketing element of CRM Marketing. In campaign, it need the BP or BP group or Target Group as its campaign objectives. Just like Customer of Sales Order, Vendor of Purchase order.
Campaign can be assigned several target groups or BP or BP groups in it.
So if you want to create campaign and assign target group to it, the steps is:
1. create a profile set by BAPI_PROFILESET_CREATE
2. create target group by BAPI_TARGETGROUP_CREATE, in this calling, you will use the profile set created before.
3. create campaign by MKT_ELEMENT_CREATE
4. assign the target group to your campaign, by MKTPL_TGGR_ASSIGN_CREATEl, the target group comes from step 2, the campaign comes from step 3

While creation of a equipment and assignment of personnel number

I have activated partner function to the Equipment catagery.
While creating equipment using T.code IE01, I am assigning personnel number to the person responsible partnerfunction.
After that personnel number getting defaulted to operator field as per config setting.
I can create equipment and assign person responsible succussfully.
But at the time of assignment of personnel number with partner function person responsible, I am getting information messege always like
" No customer master record exists for customer 10003511"
I would request you please suggest how to "delink the above message" while creation of a new equipment and assigning the personnel number.

Please check the personal Number is active or exists in HR Master with its validity.Use TC for checking PA20 for checking the same.
