From my webdynpro i want to display a pdf file, in de FM a url is constructed, does anybody know where i can change the fact a url is http or https.

How do I restore IE to use Reader for displaying PDF files?
When I updated PDF Creator, it also updated PDF Architect which went and installed itself in IE as the PDF reader. How do I change IE back to using Reader for displaying PDFs?
In IE, I disabled the "PDF Architect Internet Explorer Previewer" under "Manage Addons". Now, IE doesn't display PDFs at all. I also looked in Change PC Settings | Search and Apps | Defaults and Reader is still the
listed as the default app for .PDF files.
The version of Windows on this machine is Windows 8.1 with IE 11.

and my articleName (even if for this i'm not sure)
All my articles are free, my folio is published...
For information my folio is in PDF format with the resolution 1024x768
Have you one idea why it's doesn't work ?
Thanks for yours answersRather than cobbling together the individual parts of the URL, create a development app with social sharing enabled and at least one article set to free. When you share the article of the published folio, you'll see your web viewer URL.

How to Create Placement for contingent worker using API in 11i?
We need to Create Placement for contingent workers using an API or program without using EBS forms.
On the People form, there is an Action - Create Placement that does just what we need. We can select an Ex-contingent worker, create placement, and save. This creates a new Period Of Placement (PDP) record for the contingent worker with a new primary assignment. The result is the contingent worker can have multiple periods of placement to reflect different jobs they have worked on, for example one contract from Jan 10 - April 4, another from May 1 - 20, and a third starting Aug 7 without an end (yet).
There are several APIs we find in the Integration Repository for 11i dealing with Contingent Workers, Assignments, and changing a Period of Placement, but we can't find any for creating a PDP.

When i give the link of external site like http://www.google.com, it works fine. It does not work when i give as www.google.com.

The URLs that are external to the server, you should always have http://, your image URL is has http:// prefix? Other wise system will always look for the same inside the current BSP application. For Example your BSP application is ZBSP and if you are accessing www.google.com the URL in the browser will be
*******/bsp/ZBSP/www.google.com which will not be existing, hence causing the problem.
If not try adding http:// to the URL by concatenation and try.

Is there a way to create aliases for formulas without using other cells?
I have long formulas in certain cells, that consist of a bunch of smaller formulas that I re-use in multiple cells. Is there a way to create an alias for a formula (or create my own function) that I can then piece together into one big formula? I think I can use another cell to drop the formula in, but that just clutters up the spreadsheet.

Reductions in InDesign for a pdf using decimals?
Is there a way to achieve a percentage for a reduction using the print screen in InDesign so we can make a 93.5% reduction for a pdf? It will only let me use whole numbers. I know we can use Prinergy software to run the pdf thru to achieve this, but can this be done another way using Indesign?
Print > Setup > Options > Scale lets me input two digits after the decimal point (like 93.38%). What version of Indesign are you using?
