Creating a cookie, constructor problem...

I have a servlet that creates a cookie when a user registers...

Any advice anyone, all my other cookies in servlets are created in the same way and they all work! Why wont this one work?

Some basic thing like you didn't import the class or... hang on a bit, let me look at the documentation... okay, the only constructor for Cookie takes two Strings as its parameters. You aren't passing two Strings.

No idea what causes it, but it does happen. Try this.....
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again.
Or this ....
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again.

I’m trying to create a cookie in OnAfterLogin event, using the ApplicationData class method SetCookie(string,string), but some reason cookie is not created in the Temporary Internet Files.
Basically I need to use this cookie in other application to check the portal community access.

It worked with following code, Cookie values username and ID are getting from the session.

Cookie request problem!

I add a cookie in this way:

The problem is when a request the cookies, I obtain my cookie, but cookie.getMaxAge() is equal with -1 (not 60)
cookie.getPath is null.

Instantiation attempted on a non-constructor problem

Hi,
I've got the following error in my application: "TypeError: Error #1007: Instantiation attempted on a non-constructor".
I've created a class that represents a 2D Vector. But when I instanciate it inside another class, I get this error.
Here is a little piece of code of my problem:

Vector is a native top level class in AS3.

Latest Safari versions do not comply with RFC 2109 regarding cookies size.
RFC 2109 6.3 Implementation Limits
   Practical user agent implementations have limits on the number and
   size of cookies that they can store. In general, user agents' cookie
   support should have no fixed limits. They should strive to store as
   many frequently-used cookies as possible. Furthermore, general-use
user agents should provide each of the following minimum capabilities
   individually, although not necessarily simultaneously:
* at least 300 cookies
* at least 4096 bytes per cookie (as measured by the size of the
        characters that comprise the cookie non-terminal in the syntax
        description of the Set-Cookie header)
* at least 20 cookies per unique host or domain name
User agents created for specific purposes or for limited-capacity
   devices should provide at least 20 cookies of 4096 bytes, to ensure
   that the user can interact with a session-based origin server.
Latest Safari violates this RFC and has 4 KB limit on total size of all cookies for each domain.
It causes severe problems with many Web Applications including Web Applications which use Microsoft SAML2 federated security.
Safari must support up to 20 cookies per domain and each cookie must be at least 4096 bytes long.
Where can I get a fix fro Safari.
This was tested with Safari for MS Windows, but people reported same problem for many other platforms.

Ok, i've seen a couple posts on this in other threads, but it seemed like people were asking for you guys to complete their homework for them. This is an assignment calling for us to construct 2 rectangles, modify the second, then verify that the first remained unaltered. This is my main code here:

Ok, after reading the link, static is a class variable, meaning that it encompasses the whole class, and any alteration to it sticks. Any reference to it after that will return the new value, as it is supposed to. So, how can I temporarily change the color without reassigning it to the whole class? The instructor intentionally made it static, so I think he meant for us to try to work around that.
Looking back at my code, I am, indeed, changing the variable itself, rather than a property of the current object. it seems to me the problem lies within this bit of code.

Pdf's created in Indesign having problem in "Black" color when it overlap with other color.

Please respond to this as soon as possible since this is now in printing stage we need to send it immediately.
Adobe disabled attachment, I just made a screenshot and sending you the image as attachment for your reference.
The design has "Black" overlapping on "Blue" giving transparent on Blue color, see the pdf for reference.
Please not that there is no transparency in "Black" or any other color used in that page.
This is related to "preserve overprint" problem, when I switch off the preserve overprint in "distiller" setting I am getting the correct result but "Black" become "Knockout" instead of "overprint".
Is there is any way to solve this problem.

When you Knockout the colour it should cut a hole in the shapes below it -
Start by creating a New Black Swatch
Then Apply that swatch to your black frame
Below I have turned off the Black Separation, and you can see that it has knocked a hole right through the items below - I've also shown you the Attributes Panel - you can see in the Spearations panel to that the black is still 100%
Below is what happens when you have Black set to Overprint
YOu can clearly see that the values are added up - You now have a 284% ink coverage here - so anywhere the black goes over the green here the values are added together and that gives you a different shade of black, because the Black is PRINTING OVER the other colours and adding, as ink is transparent, not opaque.
If the black frame goes off into the white it will be 100% for whatever is touching the white, and then 284% when hitting the green here, so you get two distinct shades of black.

Learning to create a cooking recipe App

I would like to learn how to create a Mac app for managing cooking recipes similar to MacGourmet. Over the years I have used many Windows and Mac cooking programs. Most are good but I would like to assemble features I prefer. I assume it must be database driven. I know how to write websites (but not javascript) using Dreamweaver and I took a few SQL classes years ago. I do enjoy working with computers. With Lion coming soon, I would like to learn using the latest OS. Eventually I would like to distribute and perhaps sell my program.
I must wait until the upcoming fall semester to enroll in any college courses. I thought about starting at lynda.com with Objective-C Essential Training or perhaps a few books.
Any help to get started would be appreciated. Thank you.

Create Web Photo Album Problem

Please help!!!!!! I have the Adobe Web Premium Suite CS3 so I
have all the programs loaded on my computer.
I have been working on this for 2 days and cannot get this
command to work. I have 15 folders of pics that need to be put up
and I want family to be able to click on the thumbnail and open up
to a larger pic. There are over 100 pics in there. I loaded all the
pics in their own folders; I have tried jpg, tiff, jpeg, psd and
gif pics; (I separated them by file name so there are none mixed in
the folders) I put the pic folders inside my web page folder, then
I tried it on my desktop and I tried to use My Pictures folder.
This is how I am doing this:
I have the index.html page open on Dreamweaver CS3
I hit Command > Create Web Photo Album >
fill out "Photo album title:
fill out "Subheading info:
fill out "Other info:
In the "Source images folder:" when I Browse I go to the
folder and
I click on it and when that opens there are no pics in there.
Nothing shows up at all.
I finish up the rest and an error message shows up "An error
occurred".
Anyone know what I am doing wrong????

Creating a spatial index problem

Hi there
I have to create a table in Oracle Spatial and use it with MapInfo MapX 4.51 OCX to insert some features in it.
I read a thread in the MapX forum where I learnt that I had to create my table (CREATE TABLE statement), add a record in MAPINFO_MAPCATALOG table, and then add a line to the SDO_GEOM_METADATA_TABLE table. With this, I can add some features in the table by MapInfo, and I can use the INSERT clause in Oracle. Well. But when I try to use the table in MapX, I can't even load it nor insert a feature : I have an Oracle error saying "ORA-13226 interface not supported without a spatial index".
When creating a spatial index in Oracle, I have got this message :

ORA-13203: failed to read USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA table
ORA-13203: failed to read USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA table

The index is still created but marked at FAILED, so it is now impossible to insert features in it (even by INSERT clause).
The newly created table is empty, and it was created on the basis of another existing table. The records added in SDO_GEOM and MAPINFO_MAPCATALOG were copies of the records concerning the source table.
And I have finally granted SELECT and UPDATE on SDO_GEOM_METADATA_TABLE table and USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA view to the user doing the operations.
Any clue ? I am using MapX 4.51 and Oracle 9.2.0.1.0.

There is something wrong with accessing metadata.
To identify where the problem is:
- run the create-index from sqlplus (and not from mapx)
- check whether the user creating the index can
see the metadata from user_sdo_geom_metadata. (This
user also needs create-table, create-sequence privs).
