Hi Gurus,
Iam trying to create the attribute(Funcenter in BO BUS0050), my logic is not working, i know i done a small mistake. plz help me.
i want to fect the Funcenter from FMBL by Using FMAREA and DOCNR (Document number )
Plzzz correct my ocde.

Just a guess, but if you're having trouble expanding the BPM Object I'd suspect that the object's xcdl contents might be corrupted. You might want to consider exporting and saving a backup of the project and then try deleting the object from the Project Navigator. Rebuild the BPM Object once you've deleted it.

New Format for creating Attribute Sets.
Hi,
In SAP CRM webclient ui 7.0 there is a new format for creating Attribute Sets. The format is 'value table'.
On selecting Format=Value Table the field 'Table' comes up.
There is a message: Here you can enter a table that contains all the values you want to use. This is particularly useful for attributes with a lot of values or if you want to enter multiple attributes with the same values. The table must be a check table with a search help.
Do I need to create a table with all the fields in in marketing attribute assignment block with search help on attributes field.
Can you please guide as to how I should go about this issue.

You can include all such marketing attributes into one table which is a check table with search help. and use this as the Value Table.

according. After debugging derives that SAP standart coding given below
on LCOM_ATTRIBUTE_NEWF19 include.

( iv_object_name(1) <> 'Y' AND iv_object_name(1) <> 'Z' ).
Should we make an enhancement on this include? Is there any side
efffects of this enhancement creating attribute & set types on CRM
system during the packaging in terms of related with other attribute & set types objects?

On OA Framework Developers Guide Chapter 3 there is a sectioin of
" Creating Attribute Sets"
I followed the example and try to execute the command on the tiltle
"Generating Attribute Sets Automatically (Only on Linux)" which I tried the following
/jdevbin/<SelectedJDevBuild>/build attributesets APPS APPS ................
but I could not find the /build command that will help the execution on the command line
Does any one tried?

i am using oracle portal 10.1.4 and trying to use pl/sql to create attributes for a page group. however, there are no information about this inside the API (as far as i can see). i've also been browsing the forums for hours without any luck.
if there's no function to do this in the API, would it possible to create attributes manually in the table WWSBR_ATTRIBUTES ? (i tried this too, but didn't have sufficient privileges).

Create attributes for BP in CRM
Hi, I am creating a new BP in CRM and I need to add the marketing attributes to the BP. I am using the below BAPI's but the marketing attributes is not working depsite it returning the assignemtn created message, and despite otehr future GET bapis' correcntly pulling back the data. There seems to be some memory issue. Has anyone been able to create a BP and add marketing atributes successfully?

You can not use the BAPI_OBJCL* function modules directly. Try to use function module CRM_MKTBP_SAVE_BP_LIST. If it does not work try CRM_MKTBP_PUT_OB + CRM_MKTBP_SAVE_OB.

Imported XSLT cannot create attributes for generated XML element
I have two xslts. One imports the other.
The imported xslt creates XML elements with attributes and this XML is stored in a variable in the main stylesheet
If I perform the transformation with JRE prior to 1.6.0.18 then all works fine
If I use 1.6.0.18 or 1.6.0.19 then the attributes aren't added.
If I add attributes in the main xslt it works fine or if I output the element directly instead of first storing it in a variable then it also works fine.
Problem seems to be when you try to add attributes from an imported stylesheet and store the generated element in a variable.

Unable to create attribute dimension in Essbase Studio

As per the process,I am create an Attribute for an dimension as below
Hierarchy
Family(gen1)
SKU(gen2)
Attribute1(gen1)
SKU(gen2)
Attribute2(gen2)
SKU(gen3)
Here the issue i am unable to create an 2nd attribute parallel to first on i mean attributes are not creating as sliblings.

Products
---Colas
-----Coke
-----Diet coke
Bottle (attribute)
---Coke
Can (attribute)
---Diet coke
This is not the way attributes work, you would have a column in your soruce perhaps called container_type that has the relationship
Container_type
Sku
So the rows would look like
Sku----Family-----container_type----other properties
coke...Colas........Bottle............XXXXXX
Diet Code..Colas...Can.............XXXXXXX
This could be in your primary table or a joined table -

I have successfuly created new type of Document, now I want to add new attribute. I think that somehow I should set attribute DATATYPE?! how?

Can anyone help me?You can determine which attributes are required when creating a new Attribute with the Oracle iFS Server Administration tool. Go to Development Tasks - SchemaObjects - Attribute. When you select Attribute, the tool will display all attributes on this class, as well as whether it is required or not.

Create attributes with image type
There is only one image attribute in the Item Type attribute, I need an additional image attribute for the item, is it possible to add ? However I can't find the datatype of "image" when creating an attribute. Thanks !
hi,
i tested this and there is no image attribute type. so to render an additional image with your item you need to use a workaround. one solution i can think of is to add an additional custom file attribute to your item type. then use an attached pl/sql procedure that get executed for your item type and render this attribute as icon. i think you should be able to use the content management view wwsbr_all_items to query the name of the icon in the document table. you can pass itemid, pageid and pagegroup id to your procedure. on the region level you need to enable the associated functions attribute to display the result of the procedure.

I have created also a dynamic node with many attributes to make the binding to my check_boxes.
I want know to acces my check_boxes to perform action : check, uncheck ...

my_node->GET_NODE_INFO().
IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO has a method GET_ATTRIBUTES().
Which returns a table of type WDR_CONTEXT_ATTR_INFO_MAP.
The line type of this table is WDR_CONTEXT_ATTRIBUTE_INFO.
This structure has fields like name and all the properties of the attribute.
Check if this method could help you out.
Although I cannot guarantee if this method works for dynamic nodes and attributes.
But worth a try.

Create Attribute Dimension by rule file

How can we create an attribute dimension and associtae members of sparse dimension with members of attribute dimension by using a rule file?
There is no option of 'Attribute' under dimension type in dimension propertites.
Plz help on it.
Atul KFirst you have to create a standard dimension and made the storage setting sparse.
Then, you can create another dimension of type Attribute and associate it with the standard sparse dimension.
Then you can write rule files for attributes.
If you are assigning the attribute dimension MKT_TYPE to the standard dimension MARKET and the generation 4 is the last.
The typical rule file is like this:
Gen4, MARKET MKT_TYPE 4, MARKET
New york Big Market
Washington Small Market
