Creating dynamic rating scale forms.

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if is possible to create dynamic rating scale forms.
For example:
I have a multiple choice field.
Red
Green
Blue
Yellow
After this field I have a rating scale form.
I'd like to create this rating scale only with the previous selected options in the multiple choice field.
For example if I select only Red and Green, the rating scale form will have only two questions (Red and Green) and not the other choices.
If I select Red, Green ane Blue the rating scale form will have three questions (Red, Green and Blue) and not the other choices.
Is this possible?
I have a Basic account if it could change something.

Dynamic rating scale fields as you described is not something we currently support but you can add or vote on feature ideas:

If you need to add a new idea click "Create an idea" under "Actions" in the top right.
As a workaround you could manually create multiple rating scale fields associated with your specific choices and use skip logic rules to show the corresponding rating scale field. For example, a rating scale field associated with choiceA, another one associated with choiceB ..etc.

Project type

Work_type(thsi is also lov) ->> 1) Billable
Reason (this is also lov) ->> 1) Billable

Reason (this is also lov) ->> 1) Fresher
2) Project Manager
As shown above, Suppose the project type is client then I will select either "Billable" or "Non-Billable" value.
If I am selecting Work_type LOV as "Billable" then it should display "Billable" value in reason LOV
or if I am selecting Non-Billable value from Work_type LOV then reason LOV will display the list of value as Fresher and Project Manager.
Please help me, its very urgent.

This can be accomplished by creating two seperate record groups; one for Billable and one for Non-Billable. Then - in the WORK_TYPE When-Validate-Item (WVI)trigger - when the value is "Billable" you assign the Billable Record Group to your LOV or if the value is Non-Billable, then you assign the Non-Billable record group to your LOV. Your Record Group queries must return the same number of columns and the column names must match. If your record groups need to have a different number of columns and column names, then I would just use two seperate LOV's and assign them to the item accordingly. For example:

Rating scale and text

I am using the rating scale and want to include a text field for additional information. Ideally I'd like the scale with the text field to the right but otherwise it could go underneath. However, I don't want to have to keep repeating the scale. Any ideas on whether this is possible or if there is a work around?

I am guessing you would like to add additional information to each of the questions in your ratings scale right? Assuming that is the case, we don't really have a work-around, I think you'd have to create a Rating Scale field followed by a multi-line text field and then copy and paste and modify that for each of your questions. How to creater dynamic form in Acrobat 9

Can I make a form that will dynamically add pages (with header and footer) when needed in Adobe Acrobat 9 and if so where is the best documentation on how to do this?

You can dynamically add pages using templates. This requires some relatively simple JavaScript programming. It will work in Acrobat (Pro or Standard) and Reader 11 (Win/mac), but not previous versions of Reader. Here are some links to the Acrobat javaScript reference:

If you don't get a two-paned window with the navigation pane on the left, click "Show Navigation" icon in the upper-left.
If it has to work with previous versions for Reader, Acrobat 9 Pro for Windows comes with the LiveCycle Designer application. With it you can create dynamic XFA forms that can work with Reader.

Create dynamic directory name from form field on Sharepoint

Trying to save pdf file to sharepoint site using URL; but need to create directory (initially) and filename dynamically. After directory created addtn'l files may populate dir, so need to check for directory exists; if so just copy files to dir based on field name. I'm able to save files to hard-coded location only, based on below.
How to check and/or create dynamic directory base don field name?

Acrobat/Reader cannot create a directory. The directory needs to exist before Acrobat/Reader can save a PDF file to that directory.
You could create a plug-in and use that plug-in to create the directory. The plug-in should also be able to determine if the directory exists or not.
SharePoint can be tricky because it is not like most web sites. There is a special dash board that helps manage the different parts of SharePoint like list, folders, web parts, documents, etc so you may need to be aware of these features and adjust for them.
For folder level functions, I would not use any LiveCycle JavaScript variations. The folder level scripts are shared and accessible by Acrobat forms.

Here days are fixed to 31. This forms should accept product wise daily despatch entry. For
storing despatch entry another table is created.
Please help to create this type od forms.

You want I believe to create Croos-Table(Matrix) form. Visit Cross-table (matrix) forms layout and add "Please Send me too".

I would like to create a PDF fillable form which will be used by sales reps to generate quotations for customers. Which adobe software should I use (LiveCycle or formscentral)?
I don't need to submit the form contents to any URL but I need to save the filled in details in the same form.

Is it possible to do this without coding? Due to the nature of my job, i'm limited to certain software, accesses and accessibilities.
My idea is to have 1 master PDF or a Form for me to put in their information. This form would be linked to a Master PDF Binder.
For example if a new employee joins, i would like to fill out the information in such form and it will change the information in the document I will be sending to the new employee.

How to custom Rating Scale field to add more range text in survey on sharepoint 2013

When we use the rating scale field to create question in survey. You can only set three range texts for each question. Is there any way to allocate a range text for each range ? Such as below :

From Microsoft official site, we can find the definition of “Range Text”: enter descriptions for the low, middle, and high scale. It means there are only
three types of description which is the by design behavior. For example, if we have 8 number range, the purpose of the range text is to tell users that 8 is highest and 1 is the lowest. We don’t need to specific description for each column.
As you really want to achieve the goal, we can write client JavaScript code to dynamically update the UI on page. We use SharePoint designer updates the “NewForm.aspx”,

View rating scale (Likert) responses

Hello all,
I'm trying to add a rating scale to a Captivate 3 project and have the results emailed to me. My problem is I cannot figure out how to have the actual responses sent. When I set it up, the email created only has the following (note: the numbers on the second line are all "0", not "U"):
There are only two questions in the survey and in this example I answered the first as "2" and the other as "5".
Does anyone know how to have the results emailed?

How to create Dynamic internal table with columns also created dynamically.

Hi All,
Any info on how to create a dynamic internal table along with columns(fields) also to be created dynamically.
My requirement is ..On the selection screen I enter the number of fields to be in the internal table which gets created dynamically.
I had gone thru some posts on dynamic table creation,but could'nt find any on the dynamic field creation.
Any suggestions pls?

1.If you are creating the Different windows for the Countries,then In conditions tab of window specify the Condition i.e.
company -code = '2201'.
2.Then that window can trigger ofr that condition.
3.Other wise, if you are using the different layouts ,then write the condition in Print program and call that form .

i tried to debug the program, it found this error comes while calling
